We have been using Dana and her walkers since we first moved to the Boston area in 2003. Dana and the walkers that work for her have always been so great with our dogs. We have had older dogs that required carrying up stairs and puppies that are full of energy and not matter what our dogs needed Heads and Tails Pet Service has always cared for our dogs like they were their own pets. Dana has provided overnights for our dogs in our home and in her home and either location we have returned to a happy, well cared for dog. She takes care of our home while we are gone and we find everything in its place when we return. Dana sends us updates while we are out of town and photos of our dog enjoying the beach (and her sofa) on his overnights visits to her home. We are very particular about the care our dog receives and his well being and safety and Dana (and the other walkers we have had) have always been very professional and followed our instructions. She leaves us notes on how Seamus did on his walks and shows up for walks on time even when there is snow out there. At this point, Dana is part of our family. I highly recommend Dana and the walkers that work with her.

Dana is awesome!!! We only stopped using her to walk out crazy Bailey Golden doodle because we moved. We wish we could take her with us. She walks dogs as if they were hers. She truly cares about their well-being. And when we saw her walking Bailey and her best bud Lucca, (both great friends) and too full of energy, it was clear she is a dog whisperer. You won't find a more trustworthy and dependable person!

Dana has been cat sitting for my pets for years, including my late Dharma who lived to 19 years old! She would help administer medications she required when I was traveling and every time I’d come back from a business trip she was well brushed and clearly very well cared for. Can’t wait to leverage her support when I get a dog !

Dana and her team of walkers are incredibly kind and reliable. I have relied on Dana for more than 10 years for dog walking and sitting. She has never once let me down. If my dogs were writing this review, they'd be telling you that Dana and her walkers are the kindest, best, most serious, and most reliable people in their lives -- except for my family (of course). We have been using Dana and her team for 9 years for our golden retriever. Dana is terrific. In 9 years they have never forgotten to come. They remind me about holidays and days where I might not need a dog walker. They have done many last minute evening walks when I couldn't get home from work. I have boarded the dog with Dana and she has a wonderful time running on the beach. Every time Dana comes to the house, our dog goes nuts with joy. This says a lot! I can't recommend them more highly than to say that my dog greets Dana and her team with the same level of excitement that she greets us!

Dana is incredible. We truly could not say enough good things about her! She is incredibly responsive, reliable, and most importantly, loves our fur baby the way that we do. Gus gets *so* excited when Dana comes for his walks. She always communicates with us after each visit to let us know how he did, if there are any behavioral issues that they are working on together, and if he did his business. We feel like Dana is part of our family, she is certainly part of the care team that we have for Gus and are so fortunate that we found her. I would highly recommend Dana and Heads & Tails Pet Service to anyone in need of a walker, boarding, or additional TLC for their pets.

We’ve had Dana walking our German Shepherd, Siegfried, for the past 8 years. She and her team have been outstanding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better walker and pal for our boy. Especially in his twilight years with degenerative myelopathy, Dana has been amazing at caring for Siegfried even with all of his extra walking apparati. Siegfried always looked forward to his daily walks, and we’re grateful to have had Dana give such loving care to Siegfried! Would 100% recommend.

I planned a spontaneous weekend with my wife to go to Vermont for the weekend and had difficulty finding dog sitting services at an affordable rate. We contacted Ocean view kennels not only were they affordable, but they were incredibly convenient with pick up and drop off . Our lovable dog had an amazing weekend and looked very healthy very happy and very well taken care of. I highly recommend their services and I will continue to use them in the future. Lisa, Jay, and the crew have been phenomenal. They have always been friendly, reliable, accommodating, and most importantly they care for our furkids like they were their furkids. My 2 baby bostons went there for 2 years straight every day while we worked. After one of my bostons had to have emergency eye surgery, they took care of her during the day while I worked and I never had to worry. Gave her medicine, extra attention and loved on her when we couldn't. We ended up moving and had some family changes that meant we no longer needed daycare during the daytime. But whenever, we go on vacation, or want to give the pups a special treat, we bring them back for a few days stay. The dogs have a blast there. The staff are always making sure the dogs are having fun. Pools, special treats, slides, you name it they have it. My dogs always come back tired and happy. The cams and regular photos are just icing on the cake. I would trust these furkids of mine to no one else. And even though the drive is quite far now, we'd rather go the distance to make sure they're well-taken care of. 🐸🐼 Oh, and they're prices are very reasonable.

The City of Revere and surrounding communities should feel lucky to have Lisa and her staff! They are wonderful and take care of so many animals. I won't bring my dogs anywhere else.

Sandy has been our #1 for over 5 years, she is the absolute BEST! I trust her as a family member. Sandy is knowledgeable, patient, organized, and always willing to help. He's made so much progress due to her training and interactions. Sandy even shared adoption listings and helped us adopt a puppy when we spent over a year searching. We've used Sandy's doggy daycare services for more than a year and have never been happier. We love the flexibility to have pick-up or drop-off to our house if something comes up. Our dog comes home exhausted everyday and absolutely loves everyone who works there. If you care deeply about your dog, there is no better place to leave them. Sandy and her crew are genuine dog lovers and will treat and love your dog like their own. The facility is large but is never overcrowded, very clean (no constant dog urine smell!) and very quiet if you can believe it! I would highly recommend these services if you work long hours and want extra eyes on your dog during the day!

A simple Google review does not express how grateful I am for Sandy and her staff. They take care of my chocolate labrador, Ellie as if she were theirs. From the required entry training, structured daycare and absolute love and affection Ellie receives from the Sandy's 4PAWS team, I have noticed that Ellie is a happier, more well behaved pup. As a paw-rent (who has had good and bad experiences with other dog daycare centers before finding Sandy) I have the utmost confidence that Ellie is in a safe, nurturing environment. I wholeheartedly recommend Sandy and her incredible team. She is North Shore's hidden gem.

Our puppy Bear was placed there to be trained for two weeks. Bear jumped on people and sofa, gnawed, and barked so much before his training with Sandy. After one week there, we were starting to see the good behavior of Bear. By the end of the training, Bear does not bark most of the time unless he needs to go potty or hungry. He has been a very good boy ever since!!! We are glad that we took Bear to Sandy’s4paw!!! Our puppy behaves better and he learned to go right to his kennel most of the time and bark less. Great for our ears and very satisfied. Thank you Sandy!

I have waited too long to share my feedback about Sandy and her team. My dog went through training with Sandy and began attending her facility when my dog was about 6 months old. She is now 2.5 years old and is the best dog we could have ever imagined. We attribute a big piece of my dogs temperament to the socialization she receives from Sandy. Sandy 4PAWS Care, LLC is FAR more than a "doggy daycare". I trust Sandy with my dog more than any other person, including our vet. She is knowledgeable, honest, kind, and helpful. She has helped us with everything from appropriate food, grooming, behaviors, sickness/illness and more. My dog has boarded with Sandy, goes to daycare weekly and has also been on walks with Sandy's team. Each day when my dog arrives to Sandy 4PAWS she is beside herself excited to get inside and she leaves completely exhausted. She will sleep the entire next day. Sandy is the best investment I have ever made in my dog and continues to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. If you are searching for walking, boarding, or daycare services for your dog, look no further. She deserves more than 5 stars but Google will only allow for 5!

Absolutely the best dog daycare/boarding place we have experienced in the area! We were nervous at first due to the pricing but if you can afford it, it's entirely worth it. Sandy's is not your average daycare where the dogs just run free for hours. She and her staff train each pet and we were able to see the training translate into home life. Sandy is incredibly accommodating and cares for the dogs like they are her own, can't recommend enough.

Sandy and her team are absolutely incredible!! They are so reliable, kind, and treat my animals with so much care and love. Sandy is so accommodating and has always helped me numerous times with last minute requests and emergencies. They always send pictures and updates after each walk. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Christine has been in the pet services business for many years. She is a great care-giver to her pets and pets needs. We've been bringing our dog there for many years and her and her staff are above the normal pet care services. Their type of service is that they watch over the dogs to be sure that they are all safe and cared for during their time there. What service would pick up your dog in the morning and drop off early afternoon and the pets can stay in or go outside during that time; it's better than your dog sitting home for hours and finding not so great surprises when you arrive home. I highly recommend her services for exceptional pet care.

I have sent my dog to Happy Tails for ten years and I cannot speak highly enough of Christine and her team. I had a dog with special needs. She was dog aggressive which made boarding and play group very difficult. When other businesses were not able to take my dog, Christine bent over backward to help us make boarding work. We will send all of our dogs to Happy Tails. Christine is a lover of all animals and it is such a relief to send your dog to a home away from home, where they are treated with love and care. I have been using Happy Tails for 16 years. Happy Tails has been with me from when I adopted my rescue yellow lab (who passed away) to my two new dogs. I was a single busy professional when I met Christine and now I am a wife/mom with two kids and still a busy professional. Christine and her team have been the reason why I am able to have such wonderful dogs as part of my family. I spoke with her before adopting my first dog and knew that I had the care I needed for when life got hectic. Happy Tails has always been there to take exceptional care of my dogs. I trust them fully and my dogs have always flourished in their care. One of my rescue dogs, Chase, came to me very nervous. Christine came to my house, built a relationship with Chase and made sure he got special treatment (he even got to sit in the front seat) when going to daycare. I often have to call them last minute because of changes to my schedule and they always accommodate. They also have in-home boarding with pick up and drop off from your home, which makes travel so much easier. I know my dogs are safe and happy with Happy Tails. I highly recommend Christine and her team of highly trained staff!

My Dog Serge is 16 years old. I had him for 2- 3 years before I found somewhere that would care for him as we do. Everywhere I went was awful. The smells, atmosphere and staff made me and Serge want to run. Then I found Christine and Happy Tails 👍😎💖. That was 12 years ago. I can’t describe the comfort, joy and satisfaction myself, Serge and others have experienced with the dedication and loving care our pets get there. I have referred Family friends and coworkers overwhelmingly and they have had the same experience. Earlier this year I came home to a house that had no heat or hot water, called Happy Tails and Christine came to the rescue. I was able to focus on a major heating problem in the comfort of knowing that Serge was warm and well cared for 😇. If not for Christine and her dedicated staff I could never leave Serge. I couldn't imagine owning a dog without Happytails. For several years, they have provided playgroup, boarding, transportation, and advice for me, my old beagles, and now my puppy Irish Setter. They are quick to respond, flexible with scheduling, affordably priced, and most importantly everything they do makes me feel like my dogs are safe in their hands. My dogs are always happy when they get picked up and happy when they get dropped off, so I know the dogs enjoy Happytails too.

We've been sending our dog here for nearly 4 years now twice a week for play dates and on occasion for overnights. Christine and her crew are amazing with out little girl, she has separation anxiety and since becoming a regular with Happy Tails she has stopped being destructive and plays well with other dogs now. Highly recommend for any dog.

Had our dog bordered here while away on a 6 day vacation. Returned home and our dog was dropped off. She had a very large wound that needed immediate medical attention. No note/message/communication from the business about our pet's health, behavior, or well being. Business claimed ignorance. Vet said wound was at least 2 days old. Business did pay for the vet bill. We are no longer doing business with Happy Tails.

We have trusted the owner with four of our dogs over 10 years. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, transparent, and cares more than any other business about your babies. Always accommodating and responsive.

Christine and her staff our awesome have left our dogs overnight here and they go to daycare both my dogs Max and Minnie love it. Highly recommend great place.

I regularly leave my dog here and the people are always very nice. I found it while searching for an economical doggie daycare near me. My pup comes home tired and happy. Can recommend.

My dogs (and I) love this doggy day care. We drop them off two days a week and they love it. From the minute we turn into the parking lot they cannot contain themselves and literally rush inside. They play all day w a mix of indoor and outdoor and there are also soft spots for resting and napping. When they come home they are exhausted and happy x

Wandy and the full crew was awesome! I left my puppy Maltese for 11 days and each day they sent videos and pictures as this would be our first time leaving our pup alone. The gave him a groom the day when we picked him up and he was si happy. This place is awesome and the crew really loves the pets that is there. I would highly recomend this place and will be returning there as well.

I left my Baby Pug with Gabriel and his team for 6 nights. It was the best experience for her and for me. I could enjoy my vacation with the peace of mind that my girl was in good hands. I received updates about her activities and how she was during the days. I definitely have playful paws as my trust place to leave my baby when I need to be away. I highly recommend their day care as well. The dogs are well taken care and separated by size, to ensure they are going to be safe. I love this daycare so much! Everybody on staff is so friendly, and they take such great care of my dog every single time. When I drop her off, I always know she will be safe for the day because she is in caring and trustworthy hands. Aside from their daycare, they also offer grooming which is an exceptional service. Lastly, while my dog Gracie is a home body, she loves coming here each time she goes. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for daycare or grooming. Thank you!!

At first I really liked this place, the staff was friendly and responsive and my dog seemed to have a lot of fun. They're also great with scheduling. I take my dog to daycare weekly so he goes a lot. However in recent weeks before I stopped going, my dog seemed anxious when I went to leave him in the mornings and was always ready to go when I picked him up. He has also started to display reactivity to other dogs (especially larger ones) when he has never had any issues or problems while around me. Previous to this, he was well known for being my neighborhoods friendliest dog. When I asked them if anything happened, they would always just tell me that everything was good. As some previous reviewers mentioned, the staff also runs very hot and cold and can be very rude at times, which I'm hoping is not translating to how they treat the animals. While their pricing is good, I think the lack of accountability or any sort of feedback on what happens during the day with my dog is too big of a risk for my pet.

Most affordable option for day care in the area. The staff are hit or miss. Sometimes quite friendly, other times completely absent and rude. When booking a groom or day care, there's little info given. No info on meals, sleeping arrangements.. you just have to trust them. Can't even see the facilities and there is no camera to watch your dog. My dog has returned with bites on her nose (which is against their control) but even still, the facilities are not the cleanest. After a few visits, we won't be coming back.

very suspicious behavior from the staff; i took my dog for a grooming appointment and he came back quiet, trembling, and with prominent red bruises on his side. when i picked him up, the male staff member immediately rushed to notify me that they didn’t do anything to my dog, without me even opening my mouth. he tried showing me pictures of when the bruise was ‘present at the last appointment’ but there was fur covering the spot, so how is that even discernible? very odd and clearly suspicious behavior. definitely never coming back here again and i know they mistreat people’s beloved dogs, it’s pretty obvious from the other low-rated reviews as well.

We used to love coming to bring our dog here, but unfortunately we have decided to go elsewhere. Every time we pick our dog up from boarding or daycare, he comes back with some kind of infection (sometimes requiring us to take him to the vet). This past week, we took him to Playful Paws for the week while we were away. We picked him up the morning after we got back at 6:30am and the staff informed us that they already fed him breakfast. This confused me because we specifically did not pack him food for that morning since we were picking him up first thing. Since we picked him up, our dog has been vomiting multiple times for three days. We aren’t sure if he was fed different food or if he caught yet another infection. On top of that, the staff is not aware of their pricing. When we dropped him off, we were told one price, and when we picked him up, the price went up. I was extremely disappointed when I told the staff that they originally told us a lower price and they did nothing to fix the issue. With their pricing for daycare and boarding increasing 22% in the last year, we just don’t think it’s worth it for us to keep sending our dog just to always come home sick.

We moved away from a doggie daycare that we adored and were so sad because our dog Lyra loved it there. So we are so incredible thrilled to have found Reliable Ripley's Pet Care. Lyra adores her time spent with the walkers. Being home for the summer as a teacher I have seen this excitement first hand and my silly Lyra girl waits in the morning at the door for Max to arrive (see below). Reliable Ripley's Pet Care has also helped us out a ton with pet care during vacations. I am a very anxious cat mama who can ruin the vacation mood with my worries and getting to see photos everyday makes it so much better. Photos during Lyra's walks are also amazing and even my students love to see what my dog is up to that day.

I highly recommend Reliable Ripley’s Pet Care. I recently moved to the area and needed to find pet services for my adolescent, littermate boxer-hound mixes. Reliable Ripley’s was local to me, and Hannah was immediately responsive to my inquiry and scheduled a meet-a-greet right away. She has a wonderful way with the dogs, and I knew that I could trust her and one of her team members Dom (also Hannah’s Dad), who handles walks in my area. I originally wanted walks for my male Oscar because he has a lot of energy and is pretty easy to walk. Cleo, the female, is reactive and fearful so I intended to keep walking her myself. Happily, Dom won Cleo over in no time and has been walking her too – a huge relief for me. I also hired Reliable Ripley’s for a few days for in-my-home boarding for a recent trip to Arizona when a family member needed some days off. Dom was also amazing with the dogs for boarding and made me feel so comfortable having him stay in my home. As others have mentioned, they email me a link to a summary of how things went with photos for each visit (also at the end of each in-home boarding day). Finally, the day before I was to return home from Arizona, my family member had an emergency, and I emailed Hannah to see if it would be possible for Dom to return for the last day. He was able to do this, and both Dom and Hannah were so kind and professional throughout the whole experience. I cannot thank them enough. This post is a bit long but I wanted to share what an extraordinary experience it has been with Reliable Ripley’s Pet Care. Here’s a fun pic that Dom took of the dogs.

Hired Reliable Ripley’s when my work schedule got a bit crazy and I needed a little extra help caring for my almost 7 year old terrier mix, Boomer. My inquiry was answered almost instantly by the owner, Hannah, with pricing and schedule options! I booked services that day. Our walker is Dom and he is the absolute best with Boomer! Boomer looks so forward to going on his walks with Dom and I always get the cutest photos from him. They go above and beyond with pet journals, always making sure there’s fresh water, treats, and lots of lovings. 10/10 highly recommend, couldn’t ask for a better service for my dog.

When our sitter fell through, Hannah came to the rescue! Max stayed at our home and took great care of Hershey, posting daily updates. When we returned home, we could tell she had received the best! I highly recommend Reliable Ripley’s.

I cannot say enough good things about Ripley's! I have two rather high maintenance dogs and they took such amazing care of them. While I was away, one of my dogs had an urgent medical issue which they immediately brought to my attention, got her supplies and took her to the vet the next day. I was very worried because I was out of the country, but they made me feel so at ease because they are so caring and I knew she was in good hands. The photos and journal entries are really great too! I highly recommend them.

Hannah has walked my dog, Rudy, for many years, and he has also enjoyed sleepovers at her house! I trust Hannah with Rudy as much as I trust myself. I have been home on several occasions when she has picked Rudy up, and he runs to her - with tail wagging - as if she were his best friend...which she is! In addition to taking the best care of Rudy, Hannah has provided me peace of mind by being able to accommodate schedule changes and even an unexpected emergency boarding. As well, my white living room rug never had even a single muddy paw print as Hannah also respects my home! I am so thankful that I never have to worry when Rudy is in the capable and loving care of Hannah.

We had a wonderful experience with Reliable Ripley's! We have never had to leave our dogs for this long, and they are so used to us being home, so in home care was a must. Hannah was so professional and organized in setting everything up. Dom was the actual sitter and he was so great with the dogs. I love the journal entries including pictures. Overall such fantastic experience! We'll definitely use their services again!

Hannah walked my dog, Artoo, every day for several months before I moved away from MA in addition to boarding him in her home several times. Hannah clearly loved Artoo like her own and the feeling was mutual... He was so excited to see her! She provided excellent updates each day, was extremely reliable and is SO considerate and friendly. I trust her completely with my fur-baby and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caretaker for theirs!

We found Hannah and reliable ripleys a little over a year ago. Her and Dom have both walked our rescue pit (who can be challenging at times). They both have been so patient with her. She loves having Dom come by. Hannah is so flexible with the schedule, as we sometimes have last minute changes. Recently, our dog ended up getting sick when Dom was there and they were amazing. They called us right away and Dom even stayed with her until someone was able to get home. It’s comforting knowing they truly care for the dogs they care for!

I cannot say enough about Reliable Ripleys. I hired Hannah when I experienced an unexpected life change and needed someone to visit my little guy and take for a walk on my 12 hour shifts at the hospital. It has been over a year now, and not once have I had an issue. The attentiveness and compassion showed to not only my dog, but to my needs as well goes without saying. Hannah's Dad, Dom, has pretty much become my pups pal. He always gives him lots of love as evidenced by the journal of activity and pictures I receive after his visit. He even sits on the floor to be at eye level and close. Definitely would recommend this service if you are in need of pet services. I, myself, will have them for as long as they are in business. You won't be disappointed!!

Anna the wiener is the dog whisperer I swear. My Charlie girl as well as myself have learned so much from the three short years we have been going there. I recommend her training classes because she really engages and teaches you and your pup great skills. Her classes are small so you never feel that you aren’t seen or heard. The over all care from her and her staff for these pups can not be measured. The best feeling is knowing they treat your dog as if they were their own and at home so feel better. I sent my Australian Shepard/Dalmatian here since she was 1 years old. I highly recommend!! The team is so so knowledgeable and well trained, I always appreciated their insight and support with my dog. I learned so much and always felt that my girl was safe and well loved. The team was excited to see her when she came in and provided updates on how her day was. Truly, my girl would not be the well behaved dog she is without their guidance and consistent training at daycare. Daycare truly is not run like others in the area. It is safe, clean, well run! Anna makes sure the staff are trained and in control of the doggos. The place is cool cause there is an outside with a pool! And they team is always finding fun things to make sure the dogs are loving their days spent there.

Roberta and Anna are amazing! Riley had a blast in her basic and intermediate obedience courses and cannot wait for advanced. These classes were a game changer for us and I would absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone. When we first brought Riley home as a puppy… she was a lot. Thankfully Roberta welcomed Riley on day 1 and may have been the first person to understand her. I’m being completely objective when I say, Riley is now the sweetest and best dog in the entire world. Great place to bring your dog for training! I adopted a Pitt January 2021 and she was extremely energetic when people would come around, jumping all of them and she would not sit still. We went to GoodFellas for the basic training and she has been a changed dog since!! They do such a good job and they are very serious about their training! I was so happy with the results that I signed my girl up for the intermediate training!! Can’t wait and looking forward to seeing my fur baby is capable of achieving!!

I cannot say enough good things about Roberta who we have done 1 on 1 training sessions with our dog Jack. Jack has progressed so far since we got him with Roberta's help, guidance and patience with our lil husky Jack. We have tried other places just so we could mix it up and in my opinion, we are sticking with Roberta. Our Jack is now enjoying his intermediate class as we speak and is doing fantastic. We’ve been taking our golden here for almost 2 years and we love it so much! Every time our dog comes home she’s always so tired! I’ve never had a issue here and every staff is so helpful and friendly! The summer pool is also a big plus!! I highly recommend Goodfellas!

I have had 2 dogs over the last 16 years there. It is safe, clean, well run. Anna makes sure the staff are trained to handle dogs not babysitting. The place is kept extremely clean!

I have a Shiloh Shepherd who is about to be a year old. We started training with GoodFellas when he was about 3.5 months old. BEST DECISION I could have ever made. After a few training sessions I enrolled him into their daycare. Shadow loves to go to “school”- that’s what we call it. He runs to the door when we go to bring him in he’s just so excited to spend his day there. They taught him how to swim! I could talk about this facility all day long. They are so knowledgeable about everything. I trust this staff more than anyone with my dog. They go above and beyond to care for your pup. They do training within daycare as well. They’re so trustworthy. GoodFellas will treat your babies as if they are their own. The training classes have been a godsend. It’s not about just training the dogs, it’s about training the owners and it’s beyond helpful because you receive the tools you need to continue training at home. Someone is always willing to answer your questions and take the time to listen to your concerns. My dog LOVES the trainers. Anna (the owner) and Roberta. Without these women I truly would be at a loss with my training. They’ve given me the tools to be a confident dog owner. If you want your dog to have the best training/care possible, then GoodFellas is where you need to go.

My Corgi LOVES going. She plays, she swims, she rests, she eats, she interacts with other dogs and staff and is an extremely happy dog. The owner and her staff are amazing people who dedicate themselves to assuring the animals are safe, on a schedule and enjoy the interaction. Customer appreciation day is awesome and everyone that attends would go nowhere else. Truly the best place!!! Prices are great, they sell specialty dog food and bones, and conveniently located!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Linda is reliable, communicative, and truly goes over-the-top for her clients. We had so much peace of mind when were away for holidays abroad, with plenty of pictures and text o assure us everything was going okay. Also, one time, we were locked out of our apartment building on a cold night and Linda kindly our key fob in her mailbox to bail us out haha. We moved away from the area and already miss Linda!

The absolute best pet care service in Boston! I have used Happy Pet Care for cat visits for years now and they deliver first class service every single time. They took dedicated time to understand my cat's personality and needs before their first visit and I love that I get pictures of him and updates for each visit. Each time I come home I can tell he was very loved and had lots of play time. I truly can't recommend this service enough and am incredibly grateful for them all!

Happy pet care took care of my cats while I went away for a few days. Mary was very quick at communicating and setting things up smoothly and efficiently. The cat sitters were great, giving me daily reports with pictures which made me feel confident they were very well taken care of. I came back to kitties that were happy and healthy. When I lived in Fenway I used to use Rover for all my pet sitting needs. But it was a pricy service and I had to do a lot of research and vetting when choosing someone who would look after our small dog. I moved to Brighton during the pandemic and have since relied on Happy Pet Care for all our walking and sitting needs. Mary, the owner is extremely good at communicating. She is quick to schedule us in even the night before (so sorry Mary). We set up autopay so I don't have to worry about the hassle and with fixed rates every time I know exactly what the cost will be upfront as opposed to Rover which can charge me different rates depending on who is working. Happy Pet Care did increase their prices during the end of the pandemic to adjust for the rise in cost of living. I appreciated the transparency about the cost increase and the sensitivity with which it was communicated to me. I would also like to personally recommend Debra, who has cared for our dog multiple times. I feel that everyone at Happy Pet Care gets to know my dog, and seeing the same people get to know her makes me feel secure that she is in good hands and that she can recognize who is caring for her without the added stress of meeting a stranger. Happy Pet Care is a great small business that we can rely on. I have been recommending their services to new dog owners in the area and I would certainly recommend them to you.

I needed a dog walker in Brighton for our new rescue and came across glowing reviews for Happy Pet Care. They are professional, super flexible, and really care about your pet. Mary is very easy to work with and very responsive. Our first meeting was with Jen and she was great with our dog and asked all the right questions. Sean was our main dog walker and he was so caring with our dog - she is 12 years old and he never got annoyed with how slow she needed to walk. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of quality care you get. We will greatly miss their services in the suburbs!

We've been using Happy Pet Care for dog walks 2-3 times per week since we adopted our lab mix puppy (now over a year ago). Mary is always so responsive, kind and flexible - which is so important when you have a dog. There have been multiple occasions where we need to switch days, length of walks, or add on an additional walk. Mary has almost always been able to accommodate us! Our walker is mostly either Sophia, Jen, or Mary herself. My pup can be nervous around new people when her humans aren't around, and they have all been wonderfully patient with our pup. We could not ask for a better, more reliable, patient, understanding, and kind dog walking service. We've had Mary, Sophia, Jen, Matt, and Debra walk our pup - and they've all been great. Mary is always very responsive, and easy to work with, even with last minute changes. Additionally, her prices have not gone up, while other services we use for our pup have. The dog walks are high quality with a great price, and a lot of flexibility (because life happens). We're sad that our pup won't have them for her mid day walks while we're at work after we move.

I spent two weeks out of town and Lisa from Happy Pet Care came by my apartment twice a day to look after my rabbit, Auggie. I've never left my bun alone for a such a long time and was initially anxious about the separation, but Lisa was wonderful in every way. First, she had previous experience caring for her own rabbit, which was important to me because rabbits are nonverbal creatures and require someone who is familiar with their signs of illness or distress. Second, she sent sweet text and photos updates of Auggie twice a day, and it was apparent that he was both happy and comfortable in her care. Third, Lisa went above and beyond in caring for my bun--she weathered fierce storms to check on him, doted on him with his favorite salad greens, arranged a last-minute emergency visit when my flight home was delayed, and showered him with so much affection that not once did I worry about Auggie during the two weeks that I was gone. Can't recommend Happy Pet Care enough, and Ms. Lisa especially! She's my go-to gal from here on out whenever I'm heading out of town.

Above & Beyond Pet Services is wonderful. I transitioned my King Charles Cavalier to dog walks about 12 months ago from doggie daycare as I realized he preferred the one on one attention. Sophia has been his primary walker for several months now. She is very attentive to Asher and will always mention in her notes if she notices anything out of the ordinary. I met her and she is very kind and caring. I know that Asher is in good hands and that she is able to adjust to his needs each day which differ based on my schedule with him and if we walked the prior night or earlier in the morning. I know that he looks forward to spending time with her whether they walk or play depending on his needs for the day I know she is giving him lots of love and attention. I am so grateful to have this incredible reliable and professional service for my dog who is my family.

Elise and Lillian walked our aging pup under the senior walk program (2x a day). They were both amazing, and Maya loved all of her walkers from A&B, but these two take the cake! The entire company, from the office staff to the walkers, especially Katsumi, treats Quinn like she is their own. I've been using Above & Beyond for years, and they've always done a great job taking care of my two cats. I have them bring in my mail, in addition to putting out food and water, and scooping the litter. I get nervous about leaving my cats for trips, but the daily email updates A&B sends with photos of the cats and the services they're doing really puts my mind at ease. I met Kate thru our shared passion of dogs and our volunteer work for PawsNE and have known her for a couple of years. My husband and I have never boarded our dogs or had anyone they didn't know care for them if we went on vacation. This vacation was different as everyone they knew was going on vacation with us. We have 5 dogs, but 2 of them are special dogs ( and when I say special that means not just anyone could handle them ). We planned almost a year in advance of our trip to see who could possibly handle and care for our special dogs. One of the special ones stayed at home with his siblings and we had a live in caretaker. Milis, our most special pup is quite the handful! He was rescued in TN after being hit by a car and ending up with 2 broken legs. He was a stray, probably living in the wild/on the streets for quite sometime before he was rescued. So he is a fearful dog, with fear aggression and will lash out to anyone he deems a threat. We have had him as a foster fail for 9 months and he has made progress, but we still didn't trust sending him to someone without extensive canine knowledge and experience. When my husband dropped him off to Kate, she took immediate control of Milis and he quickly understood who was in charge. He settled in quickly and enjoyed the same comforts with Kate as he does at home. Kate updated us on his stay at her home and it allowed us to have a nice relaxing vacation. Knowing Milis was behaving appropriately ( thanks to Kate's structure and guidance) was a blessing. We enjoyed our vacation more than we expected, knowing Milis ( our most special pup) was in the safe and competent hands of a true professional! Thank you so much Kate! We owe you!
