Trish, her husband Peter, and their adorable pup Snoker looked after our Boxer pub, Schoggi while we were away. We received frequent updates and photos from Trish. Schoggi was well cared for, and seems to have had a blast playing with Snoker. In addition to looking after Schoggi, Trish and Peter watered our plants, collected the mail and took care of trash disposal. We came home to a clean house, and healthy dog. I should also mention, Trish agreed to extend her stay when the sitter I had arranged to stay had to cancel. I highly recommend Trish and Peter to care for your pets and home.

Laura stepped in for us on short notice after another house sitter broke their agreement and cancelled a few days before our departure. She had provided excellent care before for us, and was excellent again! Our cat was incredibly happy and lets Laura rub his belly (we can't!), and she took care of the house immaculately. She also stayed in touch with us just the right amount to ease our mind without being intrusive while we were on our trip. She is a careful, problem-solving, generous, kind, and capable person and I have no fears ever in recommending her to anyone. I loved having Kate here at my house and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. She came for a visit the day before I left on my trip. We had a great visit and Kitty and I had a chance to get to know her. I could see that they bonded right away. While I was away, Kate send pictures and even a video of Kitty playing with her new toy (she actually gave her two new toys). Kate also took care of watering my deck and porch plants, and did many other household details that I hadn't even thought about. She must have noticed that I collected owls, because she left me a lovely card, with an owl, painted by a local artist, that I plan on framing. This was totally unexpected and thoughtful. Yes, I would definitely recommend her.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Kelly took excellent care of my cats, Bertie and Jewel. She reported that nervous and shy Jewel even licked her hand! She sent occasional photos and updates about the cats, which I really appreciated, and she emailed/texted me when there were questions. At the end of her stay, Kelly and I had a conversation that was helpful to me, as this was my first zeewoi experience, and I'm still learning how to best welcome sitters to my cats and house. She gave me some excellent ideas about how to streamline the "welcome guide" I leave for folks. I really appreciate her insight as an experienced pet- and house-sitter. Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

I have been taking my dog Tiger to Canine Castle for several years. They came highly recommended by a friend and always do a great job! I feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care and appreciate their knowledge and advice whenever I have any questions or concerns regarding my dog. They couldn't be nicer or more accommodating.

I boarded my dog, which is a beagle and has terrible separation anxiety. He was there for eight days and I was a bit skeptical at first because I have never boarded him before. When we got him back, he was an excellent condition. The staff was friendly, which we spoke to every day and I would recommend to all of my friends and family to board their dog at Kunkle Kennels. They did an excellent job and took tremendous care of my service animal. Thank you so much to all the staff.
Great experience boarding 2 of my dogs for 8 days, a 16 month old Catahoula hound (Bandit) that is VERY fearful in new surroundings & a bit difficult for new folks and an 8 month old Great Pyrenees Boxer Mix (Rosie) that is just a ball of love. I loved the fact that they were able to stay in a run together and have an inside/outside area. We picked them up in the AM when we didn't expect to be back until the 4-7 slot. My pups were clean happy and well fed. Due to Bandit being a nervous nellie my husband & I had to pick him up & carry him to his kennel. While walking him back we were able to get a sneak peek of what was going on back there. It smelled fresh, the kennels were clean & water bowls were full. We knew before we left that our dogs were in good hands. Probably the only reason we were able to be to fully enjoy our vacation. We will continue to work on Bandits nervousness in new surrondings but know Kunkle Kennels is a safe place for him and his sister. I swear they came back cleaner than how we left them🥰
The staff at Kunkle Kennels strive for excellent care and attention for all the furry friends! On my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and sanitary the kennel was. It's definitely a great environment to kennel your pet.
I boarded my dog for a week this summer. When I picked her up the staff handed me her bed things and they smelled awful and were filthy. Good thing I threw them in the wash as soon as I came home. Because a few minutes later I noticed a red circular bare spot near her tail. She came home with a ringworm infection. No one alerted me to this when I picked her up. There is no way they didn't see it and if they did not see it then how much attention could she have possibly have gotten while staying there? I paid the extra 5 bucks for the walk they were supposed to give her daily and the spot is very visible when she's being walked. No one had the decency to give me a heads up so I could avoid infecting my house? They also didn't follow my feeding schedule because they gave me back only 2 wet dog food cans when there should have been 5 based on how many days she was there. From now on I'm going to pay the extra cost to have my dog boarded at a clean facility that provides quality attention to the dogs.
I reserved boarding for my two dogs 10 months old and 4 months ago two weeks in advance for a family vacation. I confirmed the 10 month old was fully vaccinated during the call and that the 4 month old was not due to waiting on an appt with the vet and also being too young. They said it was perfectly fine that the 4 month old will have to stay in a crate in the front office. When I got there the day of vacation they said they couldn’t take them so I was completely screwed for dog sitters and had to cancel the whole thing with non refundable reservations. Wasted my time and hopefully this review will help someone else not waste theirs.
I took my tea cup chi here for a week and I was so nervous about leaving him as it was the first time he has EVER been away from me. They were fantastic and took very good care of my furbaby. I would highly recommend them to everyone. I will definitely use them again..Kudos to the owner and the staff..
I’m not one for reviews but the lady that waited for me to get back in from Texas and stayed past her time of 7 clock. I was getting in late on a flight and had to immediately go into work the next day when I got back .. I would hire her in a minute at my salon I think we tend to forget why our businesses are successful. The more business you bring in the more you can earn so without some one like her. Someone like her is not replaceable . Sure you can accept the position of hourly but will they love and go the xtra mile. even though she broke the rules staying late. As long as she is their I’ll be a loyal client and refer people when I got their having an employee like her is an asset! she was mopping the front and doing xtra. I will continue to come back with employees like this tending for my dog. She worked Oct 26th at night and I remember her before I left for my trip that she even took pictures of me and my dog.. Amazing!
My babies have never been boarded before. I was so worried about them all night. We had them groomed while they were there. Needless to say when I picked them up today they were both perfect! The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I feel like the individual kennels they stay in could be a bit bigger but again I’m not familiar with boarding so the size could be perfectly normal. The staff were all so super nice! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to keep their fur babies!
They had our dogs for 4 days. Not even a full day on 4th day. Charged us for 5 days. Didn't walk them like requested. Larger dog is quite sick, so I am hoping we're not dealing with kennel cough. Just a fluke kennel trip. First time for the dogs, and I hope to never have to kennel my dogs again.
It was just a quick visit but the staff there seems very friendly and the place is well kept if I had to take my pup somewhere that's where it would be
