Pet Sitting in Nanton

Janet was an excellent sitter! She took wonderful care of Bentley. I could tell he had enjoyed her company and “service”. He was sad to see her go! My home was spotless upon my return and I very much appreciated that. I just had to unpack my suitcases and relax back into my routine. She completely respected my home and it showed! Her communication was perfect during the sit and her debrief when I arrived home was great. I highly recommend Janet as a sitter! I know I will have her back anytime she is available.

Leah & Chris were excellent pet & house sitters. Their communication before the sit was great and they kept in touch with us while we were away at the frequency we requested. One of our cats requires a pill every day which they had no issues with. The cats seemed very happy with them and the house was left in perfect condition. We'd welcome them back any time!

Where do I begin? Jacqui is the most wonderful, calm considerate person. We were so lucky she chose us (she says we choose each other)! She arrived and we had dinner together as we were leaving at 430am. Wonderful conversation! She sent me morning and evening updates and photos. Which I thoroughly appreciated. She was respectful of my house and when I returned I think it was cleaner than when I’d left! You would be very lucky to have Jacqui choose you to come and sit for. I would love to have her again. Hopefully when I go away next summer she’ll be available and willing. Thanks so much Jacqui, you are a wonderful human and the world could do with more people like you.

Lily was fantastic and helped make our two-week vacation super relaxing as we knew the kitties and house were in great hands! There was a power outage while we were away and Lily kept us updated but managed the situation without any real support. Even though our kitties were happy to see us, I swear they miss her! Highly recommended.

This was Alison’s 5th sit for us. Everything went very well as usual. A stray cat adopted us 2 months before the sit and Alison handled him like the cat whisperer she is. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alison to anyone and can’t wait for the day she can sit for us again. We all consider her part of the family at this point.

We were very happy to have Katie look after our two cats. We enjoyed chatting with her over dinner before we left on our one week road trip. She sent us regular updates to reassure us that all was well at home. She had to move out just before we got back, but we found a clean house and happy cats when we got home. If you are looking for a house sitter to look after your pets, we strongly recommend Katie.

Cheryl and Dan are amazing! This is their 2nd time housesitting for me. I reached out to them to see if they were available for my travel dates in May as the last time they came and stayed was such a positive experience for me and my dog Mojo. They said yes and when they arrived Mojo was over the moon when he saw them!! They are such kind people and they took great care of my home, but more importantly they gave Mojo so much love and attention while I was away. I think he's seen more of the local hiking trails and beaches with them than I have! Cheryl sent me photos of Mojo on their various hikes and cuddles on a regular basis while I was travelling which gave me such peace of mind as I could see how happy he was. On both occasions that they stayed, my home was in immaculate condition when I got back from my travels. Clean towels in the bathrooms and clean sheets on the bed... they even left me a lovely treat of chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge! I can't recommend them enough and I hope that they will come again to stay with Mojo. They are such lovely people!

We were super lucky to have Elaina look after our dog!! Two weeks prior we lost one of our dogs and were unsure how our Piper would do! Elaina shared updates and pictures to put us at ease that she was doing fine alone! Piper was a very happy dog when we returned which means she was very well looked after while we were vacationing in the sun! The house was immaculate upon our return!!! Would highly recommend her to anyone!

I don’t even know how to put into words how incredible Samina was with our fur kids. From our initial meet & greet via zoom, I knew she was exactly the right person we needed for an extended international trip. She was thoughtful, asked all the right questions someone with pet care experience would ask, and wasn’t afraid to ask anything that would help/hinder her ability to come stay at our home (it was a long road trip for her to come to PDX!). Samina arrived the day before our departure to meet our pets, learn our routines, and go over, in detail, our checklist/house instructions, etc. She asked dozens of follow up questions down to the last detail to ensure she understood everything around the behavior of our pets and the routine they most needed, as well as what she could improvise on her own as she got to know the pets. Once we left, we had the most amazing daily updates, not just with facts of what they ate, how they were acting, if they were doing everything “normally,” she also sent pictures of each with the most amazing, often hilarious, captions that brought calmness to us every night. She continued with follow up questions to ensure our pets had the best care (“I’ve run out of kibble, do you want me to buy the same or can I use the other stuff in the pantry?” For example). At the end of the stay, not only did she stay AN EXTRA DAY because we had messed up our flights, she sent us two INCREDIBLE recaps - one for the pets, and one for the state of the house - so we knew exactly what we were coming home to - clean litter boxes, new goat milk replenished, how they overall fared, what the folded vs. dirty linens were, vegetables she had picked…. All of it. I can’t say enough about Samina and how excellent she was. 5 starts is not enough!!!! She had formed such a bond with our pets, you could see it in every photo (our dog wound up bringing his favorite toy to her bed every night). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Samina for everything!!!!

Melanie and Mark are fantastic house and pet sitters. They were very natural with our cats; Pinot and Tango winning them over quickly. We received regular updates and pictures as requested. Melanie and Mark went above and beyond to hand water our outdoor plants while there were water restrictions. Open and friendly communication beforehand and during the sit. They waited for us to arrive home before leaving which we really appreciated. Our home was clean and tidy. We highly recommend Melanie and Mark as sitters and would be thrilled to have them sit for us anytime.
