As newcomers to zeewoi it was helpful to be able to invite and meet prospective sitters before our trip. Our top of the list pick was Sheila with her wonderful bio and many shining reviews. We were fortunate Sheila and her partner Dan were willing to come see our home and our two young cats three weeks before our trip. We connected instantly and agreed they would be a good fit to watch our kitties and home while we were gone. This was the first time we have left our kitties for more than one night, so we were a bit nervous. Sheila’s experience in making things comfortable for owners and animals put us at ease. Having she and Dan come to meet the cats beforehand was certainly an added bonus! Sheila kindly asked how often we would like photos and updates on the cats while on our trip. She provided the perfect amount of contact by text which allowed us a chance to offer up a few more tips on our cat’s habits during our travels. We could not be happier with Sheila and Dan’s care of our home and our kitties! What a great experience! Everything was spotless and cared for, our cats had new friends and so did we!

This was Sara’s second sit with my sweet shy kitty, Stevie Nicks. She stayed for 2 weeks while I was visiting family. Sara is a dream cat sitter for us as she is calm, caring person, works from home, and has so much love and experience with cats. She sent little videos or photos of Stevie everyday, and any updates about how it’s going. I came home to a happy cat, clean apartment and a few little treats for me too. We booked Pamela to care for our dog Gatsby here in Hawaii while we were in California moving our freshman son into the dorms at college. I had a lot on my mind and my heart during this time of big changes for our family, and Pamela alleviated a lot of those feelings by being so awesome as both a pet and home sitter. She communicated clearly and frequently leading up to, and during, the sit. We received lots of photos and messages about Gatsby that filled us with such joy while we were away. She went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for, and took him on lots of advenures. She took fantastic care of our car, which she used during her sit, as well as our home and yard. Cole is quite simply: The Best! This is the 3rd time she has housesat for us. Our two cats always have a great time when she's here, and our house was cleaner upon our return than when we departed. Cole is a great communicator, texting us periodic check-in photos and updates. We will ask Cole to housesit again for us in the future without hesitation and we highly recommend her!

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. We hired Cynthia to be the “wedding buddy” for our dog Max during our wedding. We wanted Max to be involved in our wedding ceremony and also to be walked around during cocktail hour for guests to say hi. Cynthia was excellent with Max and super knowledgeable about dogs. We had an initial FaceTime consultation with her, and then brought Max up to Napa for a meet-and-greet with her before our wedding day. Max has a lot of energy and can pull on leash when excited, but Cynthia was able to handle him with no problems. We boarded Max at a facility up in Napa and had our boarder meet with Cynthia at our venue to hand Max off, and then pick Max up from Cynthia when he was finished at our wedding. It was a bit complicated, but it all went perfectly smoothly and it was such a relief to not have to worry about our sweet pup during our wedding. I highly recommend Cynthia at PetzRFamily2!
Cynthia is a true gem. We were searching for a pet sitter who would look after our precious ragdoll cat during our wedding weekend in Napa. Cynthia put us at ease from the very beginning, offering to FaceTime with us prior to booking and providing glowing references. She was prompt, professional and an absolute sweetheart throughout the experience. She looked after our kitty as though she were a member of her own family, accompanying her to the ceremony (yes, our cat was part of the wedding!) and staying with her in our hotel suite during our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. It was so important to us that our baby be well taken care of during our special weekend, and Cynthia was such a blessing. She even sent us photos and updates throughout the night! Bonny Doone is so amazing. Our dogs have stayed here several times and love it. One of our dogs unfortunately passed away while we were out of town and he was at the kennel which was not surprising with his age and health issues. The kennel staff knew him well and were aware of his health issues and always took great care of him. They called us immediately and took care of so much and gave us beautiful condolences. I can’t thank them enough for being there in my absence.
Bonny Doone is the only place I will board my pets. Rhonda's team is exceptional at creating a safe and comforting home-away-from-home. I recently boarded my dog Shelby for 9 days during the winter holidays. After returning home, I called Rhonda with a quick question. Shelby was asleep next to me when the call went to voicemail. Her tail started thumping loudly on the couch at the sound of Rhonda's voice on the outgoing voicemail message. Just another reminder of the peace of mind I have with Bonny Doone. They're the best!
Rhonda, the owner of Bonny Doone, is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She took excellent care of my Cockapoo, and her expertise and attention to detail is exceptional. The facility is immaculately maintained, and even displays Disneyland-like bushes in the shape of adorable dogs! So, great, clean atmosphere, and caring, expert staff! This kennel was recommended by our vet, Dr. Mary (ret.) of Napa Small Animal Hospital, at least 5 yrs ago. I have been taking my dogs here ever since. My experience with the owner and staff has been great. They provide updates when I call and are very understanding when I call multiple times a day to check on my dogs. The facility is always clean and I never have to worry about my dogs being placed in unsafe situations as they don’t allow pets from other households to interact with your own. This is for the safety of the pets and is the main reason why I have continued to choose this kennel over others. They also use my preferred vet, Napa Small Animal Hospital, so I feel confident leaving my dogs behind knowing that they’ll be cared for by great doctors should they need it. If you’re looking for a reputable, clean, and safe kennel with professional staff, then I highly recommend checking out Bonny Doone Kennel.
Our Abby, a 22 month old doodle has been going to daycare at Bonny Boone for just over a year and we love the team there. The excitement Abby has when we pull in the driveway is a great feeling. The facility is clean, the team is professional and and if they ever notice something I may have missed with Abby ... such as she’s been licking her paw a lot, they let me know so I can keep an eye on it. Abby occasionally gets to spend the night and to be able to leave her and know that she’s in good hands is such a great feeling and removes anxiety about leaving her behind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you!
We used Bonny Doone one weekend when staying in the area. Our hotel was dog friendly, so we dropped them in the morning, went out for the day, and picked them up at the end of the day. Very friendly staff and our pups seemed to enjoy it.
Took our Dexter to stay here for a couple days while we attended a wedding in Napa. Although Dexter is a little difficult to accept being at a kennel, Rhonda and her team made it all work out well. Thanks to you all.
