Jordan and Alexander were absolutely wonderful pet and house sitters during our 3.5 weeks away. Jordan kept in contact with us with pictures and updates about our dog, and it was clear both she and Alexander are real animal lovers. They took wonderful care of our home, plants and garden as well, and we came back to a clean and tidy house and a happy dog. If they had any questions, they would just ask, and they took care of everything that was needed while we were traveling. Noah and Abigail were fantastic. The took care of our house and two dogs while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. The provided daily updates on the pups and kept the house in great shape. Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!

I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.

We have taken our dog to Good Dog for almost 2 years and we have been so happy here! Our dog suffered from anxiety and anxiousness, around both people and other dogs, but with training and love from the amazing staff here, our dog has done a complete 180! He is so confident and loves his time here each week. Highly recommend their classes, too!! Well worth it!
We adopted a rescue that had absolutely no training and had some serious “confidence issues”. Sweet little guy, but is fearful of people and other dogs, which manifests as barking, growling and sometimes aggression. Kami has done in home training with us. She was a wealth of information! She explained why he was behaving the way he was as well as pointing out body language that would help us to identify the behaviors. She has shared with us the info needed to work with him to effect change and improve his confidence. He now walks well on a leash and can handle walking the park trails with people and other dogs. He still has a long way to go, but she has provided us with the information to effect change and work with him to one day become a relaxed and confident pup! I was desperate to find a solution to get my dog NOAH, to walk without raring his head in the air, Fiercely pulling on the leash and absolutely refusing to move. I scheduled an appointment with GOOD DOG and Kami came to my house. Instantly, she assessed NOAH’S issues, presented the tool needed and demonstrated the proper method necessary for success. Within two days NOAH was walking like a show dog. He’s excited about going for his walk and is visibly happy and relaxed. THANK YOU! Good Dog and Kami. On a scale ranging from 1 to 10 stars…this is a 10 star team.
Hunter has been attending Good Dog for more than a year. He loves it, and so do we. Helen, Shannon, and all the trainers have done a wonderful job with Hunter, and with all the dogs they have there, I believe many more love it as well.

Since meeting Helen, I have always found her to be a kind and thoughtful person. More importantly, I know her to be a knowledgeable and skilled and dog-loving trainer. An outstanding educator, I’ve appreciated her patience when asked to demonstrate a skill numerous times. A lot takes place when learning to train your dog: leash work, proper timing and appropriate reward markers, transferring of “little” steps to reach the big skill. To have a well trained dog takes work. Yes, the dog has to work but truthfully, the handler has a lot to learn as well. If time permitted, I would happily sit at Helen’s feet to listen, observe, and learn. The staff and trainers at Good Dog Paws - unparalleled. Visit after visit, class after class, skill after skill, I’ve watched another Good Dog Paws trainer as she works with the dogs.
