Pet Sitting in Nelson

Bernadette bonded very quickly with our dog Molly and took great care of her, surpassing our expectations eg she combed her even though we had not asked her to (she did ask us if it was ok first!) She was aware that Molly can sometimes be reactive and managed her as we do by being observant and avoiding potential situations. She was easy to contact, from the first zoom interview and throughout her stay. She kept us up to date and worry free and left the house in good condition. We are happy to recommend Bernadette and look forward to having her come again.

ML was a fantastic sitter for Maisie and Chester. She bonded with the dogs very quickly and looked after them so well, including needing to administer quite a few drugs to Chester for most of her stay. ML was communicative and always kept in touch with us, providing regular updates on our beloved dogs and all their adventures with her. ML also looked after the house incredible well and it was spotless when we returned. I would have no hesitation in recommending ML to house sit and we very much hope she will return to sit for Maisie and Chester again.

Trevor is amazing. Trustworthy, capable and independant. What more could you want from someone taking care of your home and pets.

Dan & Annick did a short sit (4 nights) for us on fairly short notice, and were very easy and pleasant to deal with. Everything was well organized, our home and pets were both well looked after, and they respected and left our home neat and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to have them sit for us again.

Huguette stayed with our two cats in Oslo for a week and she was a good pet sitter. We came home to happy cats who had been well taken care of and the apartment was left tidy. We can definitely recommend her as a pet sitter! Only thing is we would have liked some more photos of the cats while we were away.

We had the pleasure of having Lisa and Ken look after our dog Oliver and cats Stephen and Mishka. Oliver has colitis and did have an episode during the sit which was handled very well by them. As we live on Vancouver Island, Lisa and Ken were very organized. They came to the Island a day ahead in case of any ferry or travel issues. Outdoors, all our plants and garden were watered and looked after very well. Inside, the house was left clean, neat and tidy. The bed was stripped, washed and in the dryer. Nothing left for us to do except unpack! We would not hesitate to have them sit again.

Lesley and her mom, Rebecca, sat for our 3 cats and 1 young dog. They are both upbeat and very smart. We enjoyed a dinner together before I left town, which helped reassure me that they were a great fit. Lesley and her mom love animals and hit it off very well with our VERY active 1 year old mini bernedoodle, who is very clever and likes to see if he can coerce new people to do his bidding. They were very consistent with reinforcing the training I am working on and added some of their own. I could tell he really loved them both. The cats seemed very happy and well cared for. During the week, our dog had some vomiting and Lesley set up a vet appointment and did a great job managing some meds for the rest of the week and kept a detailed log of both his feeding and medication. She communicated promptly with me when they decided it might be smart to have him checked out at the vet. When we returned, Lesley gave us a very thorough debrief. The house was super tidy and they went above and beyond (changing the cat litter, etc.) I would say that if you are someone who wants a lot of pictures and updates, you should be specific. Lesley is happy to provide same, but also is very self sufficient and does not send a lot of updates unless there is something to report or unless you request. They were great sitters and I would happily use them again.

Linda is a fantastic house/pet sitter and all around wonderful person. From the moment I started talking with Linda, she was communicative, warm, personable and really cared about my cat Honeykins. Linda kept me updated with emails and whatsapp messages intermittently when I was away which was perfect. I totally truseted Linda in my home and would have her stay again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Linda for any pet/house sit.

5 star all around review! I would give 6 stars, if available. Melanie was extremely responsive - from before the sit began and we texted about start time, organizational stuff - she was always responsive to my texts to sending me updates/photos nearly every day, while I was away. She kept me abreast of how my fur babies were doing. Her responsiveness alleviated any hesitations I may have had. I must admit, I was initially concerned about having a family stay in my house, but her daughters are extremely well behaved and the house was in exactly the same condition as when I left it. They are super considerate people. They not only took care of my pets, but they took my dog, Ruby with them on all their outings and Ruby had a great time. They seemed to genuinely enjoy my pets the way I do, rather than viewing this as a job. They kindly even prepared me lunch after my arrival home. I would have them come back anytime. Highly recommend!

We couldn't have been more delighted with Joanne & Jim. When they arrived we immediately liked them and knew that they would fit in with our home & animals. We returned to find the house immaculate, they had even made a cake for us. We would love them to return one time if they are here.
