Jerry and Michelle are so great! From viewing their profile and reviews, I knew our dogs would be in great hands while we were out of town. Communication was smooth and reliable throughout the whole process, from the initial zoom to when we made it back to our respective homes. During the house tour on the first day of the visit, we were very comfortable and got along great. We received photos of the pups each day, usually with funny captions and usually with the dogs under their blankets. The house was super tidy when we got back, and we appreciated the fresh sheets after our 9-hour drive home. We would not hesitate to have Jerry and Michelle come back again - hopefully with nicer weather next time!

Leslie was wonderful! I would highly recommend her. She did an excellent job taking care of our 4 horses, 3 dogs, and Earle Kitty. When we arrived home, they all looked happy and well kept. She texted updates and sent pictures every morning. The house, I couldn't even tell she had stayed. Leslie washed towels and bed sheets and remade her bed. She is a lovely person to be around.

Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!

All expectations exceeded!!! Outstanding, Amazing.....I would give a ten star review if possible. Patricia was my first sitter off zeewoi and she was a dream come true. Patricia is an excellent communicator, is responsive, flexible, kind, thoughtful....you get the idea that I can't say enough!! Then there was the cat care. My cat Minnie has never before been so normal upon my return from travel. Typically Minnie would be a nervous wreck after my travel, have lost a ton of hair, be meowing constantly, etc. Not this time, it was as if I never went away, amazing!! Minnie was so well cared for! Patricia is a cat whisperer I am certain because my cat can be a paranoid freakazoid but she was normal with Patricia! Patricia also sent videos and pictures which was both very sweet and made me realize I needed to up my own game playing with my cat.... I'm sure she misses play time with Patricia. And like many other reviewers mentioned, Patricia even left gifts...wow, what!.... .I was the one who should be gifting Patricia!! Thank you Patricia, you are an amazing pet sitter!!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end. Just a delightful person all around. I'd love to have her come again and if you have a chance to have her housesit, jump on it. She is a gem.

Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. From the first meet-and-greet, Jess demonstrated that she is a caring, competent, professional person with lots of personal and work experience caring for pets. She has helped us out with walking and pet-sitting multiple times. When I asked her advice about our mischievous cattle dog mix Artie slipping out of his harness when overwhelmed, she suggested sizing it down - and she was totally right! Most notably, she helped us by watching our rambunctious boy Artie when we went to California for a week. There were several near-catastrophes that Jess navigated with utmost professionalism. When she first arrived, she couldn't enter through the garage and quickly realized the power had gone out. I was at the airport several hours away, and she very quickly did some troubleshooting and made sure our boy was cared for promptly. Thankfully the power was restored quickly and a locksmith was able to meet her to emergently make a hard key copy. She updated us throughout the week about how Artie was doing - including a moment where he was so scared of a loud military plane flying overhead that he slipped out of his harness! Jess scooped him right up, all 37 pounds of him, and held him until he was calm and she could secure his harness and collar again. We're so thankful that she was there to handle everything so competently. Would definitely recommend Jess and Barkers for your pet sitting and walking needs! Tasha and Abby are wonderful with my Golden Doodle puppy. They take great care of her and I always know that she is good hands when she is with them.
