Julia and Andrei were wonderful! They were here with our St. Bernard and our cat for two weeks while we were abroad. We came back to a spotless house and some goodies in the fridge. Lynette and Randy as well as Lynette's friend Janyce have house sat for us a number of times in the past, and once again they exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first communication with Lynette, it is clear that she is dedicated to the well being of your pet. Since she began sitting for us, we have added a new puppy to the mix and three dogs, one being a puppy, has not deterred her. In her mind - it adds to the fun of the stay. Lynette is well experienced with dogs and we never worry when she is at out home. Not only are our dogs well loved and cared for, the house is spotless and in perfect condition when we return. She communicates well and is self sufficient. She takes everything in stride and is truly excited to spend time with our dogs. They love it when she is at our place! This time she gave us a treasured keepsake by having each of the dogs create a lovely piece of art. The clever technique involved acrylic paint on canvas, a ziplock bag, peanut butter and dogs licking the peanut butter. lol The result was amazing and the video she sent was so fun to watch! If you get a chance to have Lynette and Randy or Lynette and Janyce come to stay at your place, do not hesitate. Lynette is a superstar sitter and we are fortunate to have her in our lives and the lives of our dogs! Thank you once again Lynette; you are a gem!

An opportunity arose for a once in a lifetime trip, so it was a great relief that Aaron was available to house sit during those two weeks. We have had Aaron sit for us many times now and that fact alone says how much we trust him and how well he has taken care of our house and our pets. Both of the last two sits have had some issues that Aaron has gone out of his way to solve plus I was delayed a day returning to Ottawa and Aaron assured me, from the beginning of my epic trek home, that he would stay that extra day if needed. He has communicated issues extremely well and uses common sense in his initiative to solve any problems. Aaron had both of our cats this time (One travels with my wife when she is working in the U. S.), and it is obvious that they are extremely comfortable around him. I think they get more cuddle time with him than they do with me. Honestly, Aaron has been the perfect sitter for us and I am sure you will say the same if he sits for you.

Munira and her son, Mohammed, are dream housesitters. Munira was great about sending updates about my sweet elderly little cat. My cat hurt her paw jumping down from something and Munira informed me immediately, sent videos, and monitored her recovery. Munira even brought her food and water up to the room where she was staying when she noticed that my cat hadn't been down to eat. And you couldn't even tell that she and Mohammed had stayed in my house. Everything was as I left it - clean, tidy, and everything in its place. She and Mohammed were a delight and I would have them back again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fern and Frank were wonderful house and cat sitters for our three week vacation. We can’t say enough good things about them! They both have extensive experience with home ownership, caring for pets and world travel which helped them to settle into our home and to connect with our cats quickly. Frank and Fern them have gentle, calm and easy going personalities that fit perfectly with our needs and our cats' lifestyle. They provided daily updates with fun photos and videos of our cats and home. They were always easy to contact which made us feel at ease. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.

Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. I would have him back ANYTIME and HIGHLY recommend him!!

Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)
