This is the second time that the lovely Katie and David have looked after our two cocker Spaniels (‘The Boys’) for us. We felt so fortunate that they were able to be here for our three week holiday - we knew that the boys would be looked after well. Katie and David communicate brilliantly, are reliable and empathetic. They checked in with us where appropriate about the boys’ care while we were away and also sent fabulous photos which were reassuring and often humorous! They looked after our home well and enabled us to really relax, confident that all was well. Our neighbours even commented on their friendliness and how well behaved the boys were with them. For this visit Katie and David used our car. This worked especially well as they took the boys for some great adventures and it enabled them to enjoy where we live more widely too. Waaaw! When your neighbour texts you that he loves his new Canadian neighbours and our house is well looked after, that says a lot! Jane and Steve are wonderful. Happy, kind , giving, funny, and that was just to me.... They were so kind, loving and patient with Mr Bigz He is going through a new phase of not being able to wander...so he was being bratty and charging to door and crying. But it all worked out lovely. I would have them in my home just to hang out anytime... When I got home the house was nice and clean. I was gifted with pictures and text messages everyday about Bigz and his adventures. If you need the best friends, house sitter , pet sitter then get these two wonderful, interesting, thoughtful, caring people. It was the best. Fred and Lisa were awesome. We face timed prior to the sit so that we would both get comfortable with each other. This was Fred's great suggestion. Fred and Lisa came into town the night before to accommodate our early departure the next day. They came over in the morning so we could all meet and go over the dogs schedule and needs as well as where things were in the house. Fred and Lisa pet, hugged and loved on all 3 of the dogs before we left. It was apparent that they loved dogs. We felt very comfortable leaving. Each morning we received a picture of the kids and a note. When we returned home, everything was in perfect order just as we left it. This was my first zeewoi experience and it could not have been better. I highly suggest having Fred and Lisa care for your kids. My hope is that Fred and Lisa are available some other time we need to go away!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

The love between Lady Liberty and the employees is SO strong! Lady sticks to my side every morning to make sure that I don't leave her at home, and when we get to the Intersection before the Resort she stands up to watch our approach. She's always excited to play with her besties like Tucker, just to name 1. She comes home ready to eat her dinner and go right to bed so that she's ready to do it again the next day ❤️
I always feel comfortable leaving my dogs at Archer Road Pet Resort. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. It's easy to make a reservation on the website. My dogs always seem healthy and well taken care of when I pick them up.
So this lovely day began with dropping my dog off for a grooming which had a scheduled pickup time. Come back 4 hours later and they tell me they couldn’t get him in because they had an “emergency grooming” which later I found out was just someone who didn’t bother booking and needed their dog groomed before a trip. I come back after my dog was dropped off 8 hours prior to an absolute disaster. Now who would ever shave down a Pomeranian I have absolutely no clue. This is basic grooming 101. My beautiful Pomeranian now faces absolute complete ruin. His coat has been ruined. I would avoid this place if you have any show dogs or toy breeds. And beyond all avoid their groomer Dusty at all costs. She wouldn’t be able to cut grass. Don’t bother replying to this review Archer Pet Resort. I seriously could care less. A team full of complete agents of averageness on their best day. I waited months to put to this review because honestly I don’t care. But I did it just to warn future owners with premium dogs to avoid the pure misery I have had to go through months and months later. Thank you for employing the most incompetent team in Central Florida. Here is a beautiful before and monstrous after shot. This was a $5,000+ dog. And I love him more than anything in the world.
This place has always treated my pets with the utmost respect and care. Not only are they great at what they do, they actually put forth effort in their work and it shows. When I moved to Gainesville, I brought my 14 year old boxer there to get groomed every month or so. When it was time to say goodbye to her at 16, she had her final groom there. They treated her so well. We now take our mastador there to get groomed and he loves Garrett! Thank you everyone at archer road pet resort!
Best pet resort and groomer around! Our dog Lilli, a golden retriever, has a personality of her own. Before coming here, she's been kicked out of every grooming place we've taken her to due to "uncooperative behavior". Here, she loves it at the amazing staff. They are patient, kind and have a genuine love for animals. Not only does she get groomed here quarterly, this is her home away from home when we travel. She gets so excited when we pull in and after a Lilli demanded belly rub from the staff, she happily goes back to her "room" without even looking back. They are 100% the best around and we can travel worry free knowing she's in good hands. ❤🐶

I’ve been boarding with “Miss Patti” for 5 years now. The biggest reasons why we always choose her boarding business are; she does not put them in a kennel, but she checks every dog coming in to make sure they will be good with other dogs so you know you’re dog will be safe. They get a room and the dogs play in “packs”. She accommodates our dogs every time and bends over backwards for us. Her prices are the best in town, we have 3 dogs and after paying one full for the first dog, she discounts the other two. We can go out of town without stressing about our dogs. Highly recommend, she is the best in town!

All we can say is how GRATEFUL WE ARE! We had our kiddos (Tucker & Bailey) sleep over here for a long weekend and they had a blast. Normally they don't eat when boarded due to anxiety but they felt so at home that they ate most of the food we left for them. I was kept up to date constantly by Patti on what my little stinkers were up to and I appreciate that she runs such a close knit daycare that my pups weren't homesick at all lol Thank you so much!!! it was our first boarding and we already scheduled their next play dates.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with our dog boarding 5 days. She normally is highly stressed in traditional kennel type boarding . Hands on responsive owners truly care about your pets . From the meet and greet to the day I picked her up she was very happy and content to meet the other dog friends staying the night and was completely comfortable staying in a relaxed home atmosphere where she could cuddle other dogs/ people and never feel alone locked in a cage. Now we have no worries planning our trips out of town as we know our dog is safe secure and happy ! It was more of a fun sleepover for our dog vs a stressful time.
Tracy and her husband really helped me out when I was in a bind when I was living in Lake City. I have a disabled/ difficult dog, and they made friends with him like a charm. Finding Tracy was a blessing needed in short order. Ten days prior to our retirement celebration trip we learned our pet sitter is no longer available. We needed a home away from home for Storm, our 80 lb fur baby, and the person had to be the right fit. Going on instinct and faith we began searching Google and found Tracy. After a greet and meet we were convinced Tracy was the right person to care for our Storm. Tracy's knowledge of how to handle pets showed well during our visit. Her love for them showed even greater. She has more than enough space for the dogs to get outside time in a shaded and sunny environment. When the day came to drop Storm off she met us at the truck so we did not walk him in and leave him. Then she eased our nerves daily with photos of how well he was doing. If your looking for someone who will give your furry family members a great home away from home, Tracy is the person.
Tracy was wonderful! She took care of our three babies like they were her own. They were very loved and doted on - we got pictures daily of them having a great time! There is a large area and doggie pools for them to play in and an air conditioned dog house they could escape the heat in. They were so worn out when they got home - it was great! We will be using Tracy for all our sitting needs from now on!
I've used Tracy and Gene several times now because I know they take amazingly good care of my fur boy. All the animals in their care are treated as their own. I really liked getting a report card for my dog's stay when I picked him up.

Our dog LOVES Honey Paws. Taryn is so wonderful with the all of the dogs and provides an excellent place for them to stay and play. The rooms for the dogs are so much better than the crates at most boarders. We would whole-heartedly recommend Honey Paws to anyone looking to board their dog.
Taryn provides the dogs a safe and loving environment. Our JRT always has so much fun when he goes for a couple days when we are out of town. There is a large enclosed area for the dogs to run around, dig and play. Plenty of trees for shade. Each dog has his own room and aren't in a kennel setting. We love Honey Paws!
I boarded my English Bulldog for the first time during the Holiday season with Taryn and had a great experience! She was very easy to keep in touch with during my vacation, very reasonable and I could tell that my dog just had a good time while he was away from us. I loved how it was on a farm and just felt like a good environment for my English to be in. I highly recommend using her and we will be going back 😀

Honey Paws is the BEST for many reasons. It is the best deal in town for dog boarding and dog day care. Taryn, the owner, has a large fenced in yard that is shaded for the dogs. Our dog LOVES to dig holes in their yard. Taryn has dogs of her own so your dog will never have to play alone. Plus when it gets too warm outside there are air condition rooms for your dog. The rooms are large and your dog has one completely to themselves. Taryn is amazing and very easy to work with. For example, our dog has sensitive skin so Taryn has a t-shirt for her to wear. I cannot say enough good things about this business and the owner! One suggestion - book early during the holidays because she fills up fast!

Ashley is great! It was my first time using a pet sitter so I was very nervous. Especially since my dog has separation anxiety and has had lots of trouble with boarding facilities in the past. Ashley would text and send pictures every time she would go take care of my animals and if she had any doubts or questions. I didn’t worry about my dog or cat at all, since I got constant updates on them and was kept informed the whole time a was gone. I will definitely use Paws For A While again!
Ashley has been taking care of my pups for over a yr now. They LOVE her so much. When I have the day off sometimes we have to have her come visit. They love seeing here, and they know Ashley = a walk. She goes above and beyond what a typical dog walker dogs. When I was sick in bed, she came to help let them out and feed them. I would never trust anyone with my babies, but I trust her fully. She shows up when she says, never has missed a day in a yr. If you want your babies taking care of while your on vacation or work. Ashley is definitely the person you want.

Ashley is absolutely amazing!!! We moved to the area a few days before Christmas and had a cruise scheduled for New Years. I was frantic trying to find a great pet sitter in a new area. I was so happy with the way my pet was treated I had pic of there stay every day they were there. Playing with the staff .they were so happy. And when I picked them up they looked so good micanopy pet paridise bathth them even cut there nails ..I highly recommend them .

I just moved here from another county and tired one groomer and just was not happy so I was told about bow wows much closer to home my baby has separation anxiety he’s not good going in kennels I had an appointment today for him at bow wows He came home, looking amazing, happiest, baby ever running all through the house giving kisses I am thankful he was not put in the kennel like they promised my buster finally was happy of coming back from a groomers will make sure this will be his permanent groomer place to go. I love taking my furbaby here. My dog is a Rottweiler and she gets a bad rap because of her size, she's really a big baby. She wasn't too sure at first - but she ended up loving it. The owners & groomers are great. Sweetpea looks fabulous and is looking forward to her next spa day. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Very pleased with their fur-baby services. Allen is the best! Everyone is so nice and good with the dogs...they treat each one as if they were their own. Prices are great. This is the only place I bring my service dog for boarding when I have to go out of town and can't take her... and grooming is fantastic. Clean and not too perfumy and her nails are nice and short just like I like them. I trust them completely! 😊
Not frilly or foo foo. Simple space and down right amazing service. Bow Wows bathed and trimmed by Sunshine's nails at a reasonable price with attention and care. They treated my baby like a princess and returned her to me looking like a million bucks!

I'm so glad to have found Norman. I came to Crystal River from Atlanta, GA with my two dogs thinking I could leave them at the hotel but was told we couldn't, so you can imagine the stress of trying to find a dog daycare within reasonable distance and that would take us in a rush. I found Gentle Paws while searching in Google Maps and decided to give them a try since there were very few options nearby and I'm so glad I did! Norman (the owner) is a kind soul and my girls were soooo happy to stay there with him. He had two large dogs (I birve one was his) when we visited and they were extremely nice to my two small dogs who were a little sassy and had not been socialized all year due to Covid and dog parks being closed. His prices are extremely competitive and in my opinion too low for the kind of service he provides. I absolutely recommend this place and will definitely come back to board my girls when I'm back in town next month. Do not be biased by the lack of reviews. This is legit one of the best doggy daycares I've ever used.
Spoke to Norman who owns & operates Gentle Paws. Super nice guy. Dog owner. Made arrangements for him to look after Our SassyBaby and it was perfect. My dogs love staying there! Norm is a great guy who loves dogs! My dogs are always rested and happy when I pick them back up, that says a lot.
I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I had to since I had such a wonderful & easy experience at Gentle Paws! Norman was kind and took great care of my two, 4-month old French bulldog puppies. I was extremely happy when I saw their happy little faces running towards me when I picked them up! The rate was very fair and I truly appreciated the patience Norman had with my puppies as I went on a manatee tour located 5 minutes away. Super convenient! I felt that my puppies were very safe and taken care of. Would definitely recommend.
This is truly a home centered care facility. Usually my dog comes out of places terrified after an overnight stay. I had a happy dog when I picked him up. The back yard is great for dog play. In fact, my pup generally is standoffish with men, but the owner was able to pick him up and comfort him before I left. Dog approved, at least by my pup
Gentle Paws has always been able to take my dog, Abby, whenever I need a pet sitter, even on short notice. Norm is a true dog whisperer, he has completely changed her bad habits literally overnight! I can call and bring her as soon as a day's notice, sooner if I need it. Abby is never kept in a crate, she sleeps on her dog bed or another dog's if there are more (which there usually are). I bring her food and treats with me, any instructions for her are followed with no problems. I absolutely recommend Gentle Paws for any pet sitting needs, whether it be for a few hours or a week. I have never met anyone who truly loves dogs as much as Norm, and they love him just as much. Feel free to contact me as a reference, I will answer any questions you may have.
This man calls himself a professional! Says he has 40 years experience! We dropped our pet at his business after 2 home visits! Within 1 1/2 hours we got a phone call to “come get your pet!” This was only hours before we were planning on going away! He ruined our trip! I would not recommend anyone trust this man with their pet! For all his years of experience, he sure doesn’t know how to deal with a dog!!
Norm was extremely responsive! He was so loving to our frightened mini poodle and provided a fun and safe environment for our bigger dog! Such a blessing , so we could swim with the manatees! Would take my dogs there again in a heartbeat!
He was very unprofessional, he lost our dog, We were on our way to our flight when he called us to yell and complain how it wasn’t his fault. He was very aggressive and rude . Thankfully we found her and when we did her collar was missing and she was acting strange. i do not recommend this nightmare of a dog watcher for anyone else who cares for the well being and safety of their animals.
I only gave 1 star because I was not able to provide a negative 5. This place is horrible, and smells, the website states something totally different then what we saw, totally different when we arrived at the location, we are from out of state and needed a place to board our yorkie for four days, which. We made the reservation 3 weeks before arriving,. we went to a trailer to do a meet and greet and everything was schedule and set and Norman called me and said he was not able to wait ch our dog at all. We gave him the dates of the reservation, he said he lost the dates twice ce, so I offered to write the dates down and email them to him then this is the text he sent see attached:?
