Pet Sitting in Ostend

Elise is an amazing housesitter! I love to travel but I also love my cat, so only the best care is good enough for her. And that’s exactly what Elise provided. She even went above and beyond my expectations. From the very beginning, communication with Elise was smooth and easy. She was available, approachable, clear, kind, respectful, … in her communication. While I was away, she kept me updated with wonderful messages and pictures of my cat and the apartment, which allowed me to travel with a peaceful and carefree mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Ikea, as she took the time to play with her, cuddle her and spend quality time together. I returned to a very happy cat. Ikea even “told” me that Elise took very good care of her. 😻 Elise did also an outstanding job of keeping my apartment in perfect condition! When I returned, everything was spotless and organized, even better than when I left. Elise has an excellent sense of organisation and a talent for making things better, easier, nicer, more cozy, … The little changes she made, gave my apartment a lovely “upgrade”. 😊 She truly went above and beyond, not only by maintaining my place clean and tidy, but also by leaving thoughtful gifts for me. This was a very nice surprise. 🤩 Elise loves to show her kindness, gratitude and love. This was our second time having Delphine sit for us and she was great as per usual! She is very communicative and sends lots of photos/videos which help keep us at ease. We'd have her back again anytime!

Jordan was amazing. She gave my boys so much love and wonderful care. She took the time to send me pictures and videos everyday. She had the challenging task of keeping my terrace plants alive when it was 40 degrees day after day. I enjoyed my vacation, knowing with the regular check ins, that everything was going well. It was wonderful coming home to well cared for Persian babies and my house being clean. I highly recommend Jordan. Her communication is excellent. She is simply a wonderful person.

Hans communicated well, was tidy and punctual. My skittish Hazel was a bit scared and redrawn when we got back but that's not unusual. Mirin seemed her happy self. He even cleaned the patio for us which was a very nice surprise.

Walter and Mary cared for my cat Missy Moo and my home. Both were cared for extremely well. My home was left immaculate and my cat is extremely happy. They kept in touch regularly and were extremely self sufficient. A big thank you to them both .

Brigit and Daniel are charming and, as before, looked after our two dogs very well. The dogs were in great shape on our return and, as ever, Brigit and Daniel left the house spotless.

We recently had the pleasure of having Annick and Éric look after our two dogs and cat for 12 days, and we couldn't be more satisfied. Annick and Éric are experienced, reliable, organised, and highly responsible petsitters who immediately bonded with our pets. From the outset, we felt confident that our animals were in excellent hands, allowing us to leave with complete peace of mind. Communication with them was clear and efficient from our initial contact through the entirety of their stay. They kept us updated with plenty of lovely photos and videos, which was a delightful touch. They exhibited remarkable patience with our energetic 8-month-old border terrier, displaying a calming and positive energy that seemed to soothe him effectively. When we returned, we found a spotless home and visibly happy pets. We wholeheartedly recommend Annick and Eric and we hope to have them care for our pets again in the future.

Karina and Tim were amazing housesitters! We were apprehensive about our first house sit, and how our elderly dog Otto would be with new 'carers' in the house. But they took plenty of time to understand his various dietary and medical requirements, sleeping arrangements etc and sent us daily updates on what he was up to in our absence. He was obviously very well cared for in our absence, and was happy and healthy on our return. I'm sure the house was cleaner when we got back than when we'd left it! Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tim and Karina, and hope they can sit for us again sometime!

Val and Tim along with their daughter Tess were amazing house sitters. They rose to every challenge that comes along with a large house on a large property full of pets. They provided excellent care to our four cats and four dogs, two fish tanks and a tortoise. They handled issues that arose with a complicated irrigation system as well as pumps used for water to the house. They even took care of all the house plants, our pool, and large garden while we were away. They did all this for 7 weeks in the heat of southern Spain with no air conditioning! They kept in touch, updating us about how our pets were getting along, and clearly spoiled them and seemed to really enjoy their company. We came home to find everyone happy, the home nice and tidy, and even with food and cold beer in the fridge so we didńt have to go to the shop after a long day travelling home. I can not recommend them highly enough for anyone in need of pet and house sitters. I truly hope they will come and sit for us again in the future.

Amaury and Jasmijn are great dogsitters. Epken, their dog, was with them. We were very much in agreement on how to accompany dogs and it worked well between the dogs. As open and interessted people, they discovered our surroundings and the dogs were allways with them. They sent us photos every day and we enjoy this little exchange. Our house was clean and tidy when we got back and there was homemade Jam in the fridge ☺️. Our dogs were balanced and we were happy that everything walked out so wonderful and we got to know this two lovely people and, of course, Epken.😀
