Very nervous dog mom, leaving our poodle for the first time with a boarder and I am happy to report everything was spectacular. Very easy communication, loved the facility and Penny was in great hands. She was also groomed while there and she looks precious. She has been very anxious to get groomed because of a past incident and she had no anxiety here! So grateful to have found Jolly Ranch!

I am very please with jolly ranch, they listened to every concern i had because my dog hasn’t been socialized in awhile and they worked with him and did amazing!! I got pictures sent and updates which is definitely a good thing because i was worried since it was a new place for him but he definitely had a blast and i highly recommend jolly ranch, if you are looking for a good place to take you fur baby it’s here!!

Left my two sweet dogs with Jolly Ranch Pet Resort for 4 days while I went to Boerne Texas to get married and on to Corpus Christi/Padre Island for a beach honeymoon. We were nervous about boarding our dogs but we felt a lot better after meeting the staff on location at drop off. They did a wonderful job, I think my dogs actually enjoyed being there almost a little doggy vacation for them. The boarding prices were very reasonable and a kind dog loving staff made us feel like we picked the best local Abilene facility to care for our two girls until we got back home. Highly recommended!

I was able to get a last minute appointment with their groomer and they did an AMAZING job. My pup looked so much cleaner with a good haircut. 10/5 stars!

I have used Jolly Ranch many times since moving to Abilene almost 2 years ago and can't recommend them enough. They went above and beyond to keep my pets safe and secure over the 4th of July weekend. One of my high anxiety dogs sustained a slight injury while trying to escape, due to being freaked out by fireworks. I should have medicated him, but honestly didn't think about it. They called and let me know right away while it wasn't major, I was out of state and unable to get to him in a timely manner to check on him. They took good care of him and worked with me on coming up with a solution until I got home. It was hard being away from my dog while I just wanted to be with him, but knowing he was well cared for really made it so much easier. I really can't thank Jolly Ranch Pet Resort enough. I will continue to use Jolly Ranch over and over, because I can trust that they will take good care of my dogs and communicate with me if anything happens; this is so important to me. This was the first incident I have ever had and it was completely my crazy scared dog and no fault of theirs, whatsoever. I am so grateful to have found them. They have great accomodations, good prices, are great at communicating with you, and are highly reliable. We love Jolly Ranch.

Literally the only place we take our dogs now. There are other great places in town like frontier but here the dogs get to run as far and as much as they like. Frontier they’re cramped up for most of the day and get play time, which is nice but even prisons get play time and that isn’t what I want my dog to be at. This place lets the dogs be dogs, the owners listen to what the dogs want all day. The owners must have a strong and deep love for every animal. My dogs can’t get out of the car fast enough, and don’t look back, every single time we take them here. They love it and come back happy and well cared for which makes me happy.

Love this place! My hyperactive giant mutt loves to play with friends when we board him and they do an amazing job grooming and deshedding him and grooming his Maltese brother. Very different dogs and same great work. My dogs (especially the Maltese) have separation anxiety but do amazingly at the facility. They get so excited when they see where we're pulling into!

My fur babies were taken such good care of and cannot thank them enough!! Will definitely be using them when we go out of town again! The staff and owners are wonderful and so kind and compassionate. If you’re looking for boarding, grooming, doggy daycare; THIS IS the place to take your pets!!!

I took my corgi, to suite life pet resort multiple times and I had okay experiences. This time he was there for 6 days and today I got a picture of his neck 4 hours before I was supposed to pick him up. When I drop him off I take everything with him, food bowls, harness, medicine the whole 9 yards, so they only have to provide adequate care. Today when I got to the location they told me his flee collar caused the bruising, this is the same flee collar he uses everyday. Once I saw it, I realized it wasn’t from the flee collar and it was from something else. I asked them to show me all the videos from when he got dropped off til now. Then I asked them what do they use to walk him. They proceeded to tell me they make a harness. They put a leash on him and wrap the cord around his body to walk him. Which is unacceptable when I provide a harness so things like this don’t happen. I tried to talk to the owner and get this situation rectified in a polite manner and he told me to get off his property and never come back and he would take me to court for none payment. I never had the intentions of not paying ( payment was made), they walked my dog out to me and dropped all his stuff on the curb. I feel like this is very unbecoming of a pillar of the community especially when lots of people board with them.

They were recommended by another user. We went and checked the facility prior to use and were impressed. They are well organized, keep things clean and it smells fresh. Prices are very reasonable and they provide a lot of services. We boarded our dog for one night and included a bath/nail trim. She looks and smells fantastic! Next I'll be checking out the membership, they have private dog parks and a pool! I highly recommend them to watch over your little ones.

we took our pup Murphy there to be groomed and loved his look. Also got an appointment very soon after thinking it would be weeks after prior grooming experience. All the staff was very friendly. All and all, Murphy and I were both impressed.

We were provided with such comfort knowing our dog was well taken care of while out of town! They provided excellent customer service and I could tell my dog enjoyed staying there. They also gave updates on meals as well as photos. Highly recommend!!

This is the 4th grooming service we have tried since our move to Abilene. It is by far superior to all the others. We have 2 dogs, 2 different breeds. Both dog cuts were exceptional and they even put a wonderful scent on them.

Daycare staff are great, puppy always comes home happy and exhausted! Office staff are always kind and helpful. Great place in Abilene to take your fur baby! Boarded our King Charles pup for a couple days, the staff took amazing care of him and even sat with him so he would eat (he's a pack dog when it comes to eating) Great place!!!

Boarded my Molly for one night because we had our house sprayed for pests and Suite Life was great. I know Molly had a good time.

Would give 10 stars if I could. This place is the best. I have tried other places in town for both grooming and boarding, and Suite Life is just the best. Jack absolutely loves it too. Whether he is going for grooming, boarding, or even to get vaccinations, as soon as we turn on Beltway to get there, he starts dancing. It's so comforting to this dog Mom and Dad to know that not only is our baby so extremely well taken care of, but that he also loves going there and doesn't want to leave. The entire staff is great, not only with our pup (who can be a bit of a handful at times), but they also have great customer service, so friendly and helpful with anything we need. My husband has had medical emergencies and needed to be admitted to the hospital, and the staff was so helpful and accomidating in getting Jack taken care of for the duration with very little notice; makes it easier to focus on him getting better when we know our pup is not only being well taken care of, but is happy, healthy and being spoiled. Send your fur babies here, you won't regret it.

Horrible experience this last time I took my dog in to get groomed. Horrible customer service. I will never take my dog here again for any reason and please don’t take yours. They cut my dogs nails too short and cut her, applied Kwik-stop all over the front 2 paws. Denied it happening and lied to me about it. I tried to talk to them about it but, they blamed me & that my dog must’ve stepped into something. It was confirmed by other groomers that is what happened.

I had my 13 year old Golden Doodle groomed yesterday at Suite Life. Grace did an excellent job with her hair cut and kept me informed and up to date on her grooming progress. She handled my geriatric baby with patience. A+ service.

This was my first time boarding my two dogs we rescued eight months ago. Their prior “boarding” experience was being dropped off at a shelter and abandoned. I had some concerns about their emotional reaction to being boarded for 4 days. But, they did great and room everything in stride due to the great staff and their surroundings. The facility is clean and well maintained. And the big plus is that each dog (or dog family in my case) has private time in the well-fenced exercise yard. That means dogs don’t mingle which is a huge safety plus! Their individual kennel run allowed my 75 pound dog and my hyper-30 pound dog plenty of room for exercise. I think they wanted to stay! I’ve already booked my second visit, and a returning customer is the best compliment a business can get!

I DO NOT recommend this place for grooming. We took our toy Australian Sheppard here to get groomed. Our appointment was scheduled at 12pm. We get there at 12pm and a lady says the groomer should be there shortly and we could leave her there. So we told the lady that we just wanted a trim/clean up and did not want a summer cut. We wanted the hair to stay on our girl. The lady said she would tell Brooklyn (who does the actual grooming) of our wants and that Brooklyn would use a 7 forward on her which only cuts a little bit of hair off. When we go to pick her up, THEY COMPLETELY SHAVED MY DOG!!!! She barely has any hair left. I didn’t even recognize my own dog. The groomer also told us that she doesn’t get there until 1pm on Saturdays. There was obviously some kind of miscommunication between the lady and Brooklyn on the appointment time AND the way we wanted her groomed.I will NEVER be back. If I wanted my dog completely shaved I could have done it myself at home instead of paying for it. Before and after they were supposed to “only cut a little bit of hair off”

My cat, Simba, stayed with Ms. Melody over the course of about 5 weeks. Initially, Simba was staying with a friend while I was out of town, but she was not able to continue to care for him due to her health. Melody's team was able to pick up Simba from her home and take him to boarding. Melody messaged me weekly with updates about Simba and was prompt with replying when I texted her. I even got photos! I have not had another boarding home that cared for him as much as Melody and her team did. When I went to pick up Simba, the care was evident on him, as his fur was shining and he was purring happily. I would definitely recommend Hefner's boarding to those in need of it. I'll definitely be back as well when the need arises. Thank you again Ms. Melody

Had to board 2 of our dogs for 2 weeks while we were out of the country. Both of our dogs are very anxious since they're rescues. Melody had us come before we flew out to introduce the dogs to her facility and get them used to the noises and smells while we were with them. We were able to bring their blankets, toys, chews, meds, and food and she took into consideration their temperaments and length of stay when choosing their location at the facility. Our girls have never been boarded before so we were nervous but even our most nervous one (who likes noone) liked Melody upon meeting her. Because of the dogs' histories we are keenly aware of any changes in behavior with them. I can say that based on our girls' appearance and behavior since they've been home, they were absolutely cared for and treated incredibly well by Melody and her staff! They looked happy and healthy when we first picked them up and our shyest girl, Lillie, ran through the yard telling everyone she was going home. I know that Melody took great care of her because Lillie even jumped on her to tell her bye (she doesn't get that close to anyone but those she trusts most). I plan to travel more often in the future and will definitely reach out to Melody for help!

One of the things our dogs love most about Hefner's Haven is that they get to play in the fenced play yard on days they are getting groomed. We have used Hefner's for many years, for both grooming and boarding and our dogs are always well- treated and happy!! The rates are reasonable, and it's right here for us in Sweetwater!! Brooklyn, Debra and Melody are super friendly and patient, and do lots of sweet-talking and hug-giving to our babies! There are kennels for both small and large dogs, with doggie doors and fenced yard spaces, so they can go inside or outside as they want. I highly recommend Hefner's Haven! And it's right here in Sweetwater!! Here are my four going home after yesterday's grooming!

Melody loves your animal as if it was her own. Kennel is so clean, and smells fresh! Our pet comes home happy and clean, she even washed his blanket for us to have clean on our way out!? Can’t go wrong with Hefner's Haven. A++++++

Trusting someone with your fur babies is hard, but we feel so comfortable taking ours to Hefner’s! It’s the only place we will take our dog and he absolutely loves it. Highly recommend!

I have taken my 10 month old puppy here for grooming and for boarding. They do a great job on the grooming and everyone I’ve met seems to really love the dogs.

I took my dog to them a month ago, they did what I asked, the price was fair and Cindy was so nice that she found a way to communicate with me since my English is not good at all, definitely a place to trust. . our puppies. .

My big boys are 'frequent flyers' at Hefners Haven! They know when we are almost there, start getting excited and can't wait to run and play with their buddies! LOVE when they come home with baths and cuts 🙌🏻 My Charlie looks so dang cute, like a fresh pup {His back end shows it the most} …
