Catherine was the best! We loved having her come and sit for our cats. I didn’t worry and was very relieved to have her at our house and watching our cats. I highly recommend Catherine to anyone. She is wonderful!!

My scheduled sitter had cancelled close to my departure date, and Diane stepped up and offered her services. So much appreciated. I was able to visit my grandchildren!!! Diane (Bogie) gave EJ lots of attention and took him for many many walks during my absence. She also froze some of the leftovers that I had prepared so that I would have food upon my return--again, much appreciated without having to go shopping immediately. Her compassion did not go unnoticed!!

Dependable pet/house sitter with vet tech experience willing to travel to you!
Karla practically became a family member to my boys. They were well cared for and her vet tech experience came in handy. My home was spotless upon return and I'd welcome her back anytime. She's checked back to make sure my guys are doing well once she left. I appreciate her attention to detail.

Two travel crossed lovers embarking on a year-long road trip!
This was my first experience with zeewoi and I am sold! Andrea excelled at communicating. We met prior to her sit so we could review the house, the pet and everything involved. She kept in touch with me every day I was gone with photos and texts. She even taught my guy to retrieve, something I was never able to accomplish! On my return my boy was clearly well taken care of, as was my house. I would love to have her stay with us again.

Trustworthy, non-smoking, professional woman or couple to love your pets!!
Another great sit from Janet! We feel so fortunate to have found her. Leaving our Ruby for such a time period would never be possible without the confidence we have in Janet. It's heart breaking the day we leave, but we always rest assured that Ruby will be living her best life while we are away!

Caring, respectful, experienced house sitter to keep your fur babies company.
Annie befriended Katherine within minutes of her arrival and was curled up where Katherine had slept when we returned home. She was a very content kitty. Annie’s only special need is a thorough daily brushing; the lack of mats in her fur when we returned told us that she had been well cared for. We’re pleased that Katherine will be coming back for another sit next spring.

Looking to babysit the world's most cutest pets ever.
Tammy was incredible with communication. She asked and took daily photos and texts of our pets while we were away. We came home to an immaculately cleaned home (I can't even clean it to the level we came home to!!!) Tammy had dinner ready for us when we arrived home. The night we got home my dogs were calm and confused where to sleep, hence I KNEW they loved her being with them. I cannot recommend her enough! We were truly blessed to have her care for our dogs, chickens and home.

I love the exchange that this platform provides for all involved!
Kristine is amazing! She has a ton of experience with large dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving our dogs in her care.. I can't believe we got so lucky to have her spend time with our pups. She made sure our dogs stuck to their normal schedule and went above and beyond, working with them on their training and leash skills. We came back from our trip to dogs that were happy and better behaved and to a house that was cleaner than we left. She was very communicative the whole time and took some beautiful pictures of the dogs. I would have her back in a heartbeat!
honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
This was my first time using house sitters and Shanen and Ryan were wonderful. She sent me pictures of Calla and game me updates on Calla’s activities. She would be welcome to pet sit for me anytime!
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
We've had many pet sitters over the years (this is our first time using this app) and Missy is the best sitter we've ever had for our dog and cats. Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back. It was a pleasure to get to know her. We would welcome her back to our house as a friend or a sitter anytime. Highly recommend!
Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!
Laura is hands down the best sitter that we have ever had care for our pets and house! Having her stay made our trip away so care free and added a super fun layer of getting her daily (morning and night!) updates with photos and videos, some were hilarious I love Laura’s sense of humor! We were gone 8 days and when’s we arrived home our house was cleaner than when we left, mail on the counter, yard was picked up, it was beyond what we would expect. This made our first day back so easy. Oh’ and our pets were so relaxed and happy we knew they were loved and taken care of while we were away. Laura knew that we were coming home late and she even had bought a yummy quiche, rolls, fruit and juice so that we had breakfast in the morning! Laura is responsive, a great communicator, I could go on but simply put she is welcome at our house anytime. Simply the best!! Thank you tons Laura!!

Dennis and Barb were very helpful for our first time boarding our family dog. They took time to show us around the facility and explain how they attend to our pets needs. We will be using their service again in the future! This is a great place for any pet!
New to Michigan …First time and Last Time using this Kennel! I’m in a Loss for Words The condition of my two Newfies were pathetic. He should be Shut Down Hopefully this post will help someone Kurt & Arlene
Family owned, on their property. Really great place to take you fur babies. They have raised beds (take your own blanket), will groom if needed before pick up, and cats/bunnies are in a separate quiet room. Got delayed by snowstorm, called, and they kept Holly an extra 2 days, no problem. The Goodwins are wonderful people, and you can trust them with your babies!
Our Sproodle absolutely loves going to see Dennis at Country Kennels. They love him like he’s their own and it shows with our Coals behavior. As soon as we drive in Coal is ready to take a run into the office see what’s going on inside. It is comforting to know he has a nice fenced in area to run and a clean room to sleep. Thank you Country Kennels for maintaining how we have loved and spoiled him.
Great kennel and great people. We actually have a kennel on our road but drive out of the way just to go to this one. Well worth it.
We boarded our fairly aggressive GSD that will not let strangers near him for 12 days and couldn't be happier. Our dog is a handful and they were well set up for him and not at all intimidated. Owners genuinely care for the well being of your pets even if they're a jerk. They called that evening after picking him up to make sure he was returning to normal. After all that time in the cage our dog did not have an odor or hot spots. He and his belongings were all clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this facility.
My big Golden had a relaxing time!! Very happy and will return!! Humble family!
We brought our 2 old-timers mom to Country Kennels. Not only did they make sure our guys were comfortable, they took pictures and sent them to us. They were accomadating and friendly. You can tell they care about the pets in their care. We will always use them and recommend them to anyone who needs their let's boarded.
Couldn’t get our dogs into our regular kennel so we tried this one. I will never use them again. My 20 year dropped them off for us and picked them up. When he dropped them off loud music was playing in the kennel (not sure what genre). When he arrived for pick up the guy had rock n roll music playing extremely loud. It was so loud the guy had to turn it down to talk to my son. Their website said soothing music is played. So explain to me how loud rock n roll is soothing? How is that not stressful to the dogs that are boarded there? Then the guy proceeds to tell him our dogs wouldn’t relieve themselves on the cement so they had to charge us to take them out to the grass. How about a phone call to us to discuss this? And I’m sorry that my dogs are trained to not pee on anything other than grass. Why is there no grass in the runs? Yes I get it’s easier to clean but really? You’re going to charge me for my dogs to go to the bathroom after I’m already paying $50 a day? They have been home for a few days now and are still so stressed and not acting like themselves. They are barely eating. Never again will I use this kennel. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was no ok with me and I felt I needed to share with others.
We've been using Country Kennels for over 20 years and wouldn't dream of using any other kennel! They treat our dogs like their own. Awesome place and Dennis & Barb are the best!
