Courtney was fantastic! She was organized, self sufficient, responsive, and cared for Stevie so well. She took Stevie on lots of walks and to parks and sent consistent updates. She left the house clean and tidy. Would absolutely recommend her for a sit!

Kim was a great help. She communicated perfectly, noted the important details and took very good care of Koneko and our home. Our home was clean and tidy when we came back. We enjoyed her candid videos of Koneko's endeavors ❤️ we would be glad to have Kim keeping Koneko company again!

Digital nomad looking for adventures and pets/plants to spoil
Deidre was awesome! She was super organized when we first set up our video meet-and-greet, and communication was great leading up to her sit. She was thorough with her questions about Nala’s care, and I was very confident leaving Nala for the week with Deidre. Deidre checked in periodically while we were gone to send pics of Nala and let us know how she was doing, which was very reassuring. And when we got home, the house was clean and tidy. We were very happy having Deidre stay at our house, and we’d be happy to have her back!

Sirene is great!! She is super reliable, self-sufficient, thoughtful, and everything went extremely smoothly. My dog has some quirks and she handled him quite well. She was very accommodating, flexible, and really came through for me. I am incredibly grateful! I feel like I totally scored that Sirene agreed to house sit and that she did so!!

Respect and care for your home and your furbabies as if they were my own.
What a wonderful experience to have Mindy in our lives! Mindy connected with Coco right away. It was great to receive photos of Coco while I was away and when I returned my home, Mindy had fresh flowers in three areas of my home with a sweet note to me by my bed. It was hard to say good bye to Mindy, but I have a feeling our paths will cross again. Thank you, Mindy!

Reliable, Loving, Experienced Sitter excited to meet you and your fur babies!
Wow! Justin is an exceptional person and sitter! He is very conscientious, trustworthy, upbeat and so kind and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to assure we felt comfortable and our dogs and home would be well taken care of - and they were! We came home to very happy dogs, an immaculate house and a welcome home gift and card. He even offered to do grocery shopping for us so when we came home we didn’t have to rush off to the store. His communication throughout the process was excellent, he made sure he thoroughly understood our expectations and handled our dogs medical needs without a problem. We enjoyed the short time we were able to hang out together and would welcome him back into our home without hesitation!

Compassionate, patient sitter looking to give peace of mind on your time away.
Shelby and Phil did a great job taking care of my dog. They even took her on a beach outing (I had told them it was OK to take her out). They left the house clean. I'd be happy to have them back!

Passionate Pet & House Sitter with a Love for Travel
Sarah was a great sitter! She sent daily updates about our pup, which let me relax. We did a video call and meet up before the sit started and she was very self sufficient during the stay. She followed house rules and check out instructions and the condo was very clean upon our return. Would use again!
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. As far as caring for my house - top notch.
Lyndsey and Jordan were wonderful pet sitters and house guests. They kept us informed of how our pets were doing and went above and beyond to care for them. We felt entirely comfortable leaving our home and pets in their hands and arrived home to find everything tidy and the pets well cared for. We would absolutely have them sit again if the need arose.
Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!
Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !! She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail. Our home was immaculate when we arrived home and the dogs and cat were super happy !! I would recommend Debra as a wonderful, responsible and reliable pet and house sitter !
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

By far our favorite kennel, my dogs are so excited to get there and they always seem to have a fun time. Staff are sweet and attentive to the animals. Lots of running space and they take lots of pictures and post daily. Fair price and easy to work with.
We absolutely love this place! Maisy has the best time. She plays all day & comes back so tired. The staff truly care for the dogs & families. They even post pictures of the dogs every day. We love you!
very impressed with this kennel. owner and staff are nice, facilities looked and smelled clean. My dog was happy to go back, it seems like he had a good time. will definitely use this kennel again. Thank you for having Kylo!
Above and beyond is the only way to describe this place! I had so much anxiety over boarding our little 6 month old puppy. We had a bad experience elsewhere and so I didn’t know what I was going to do. I found this on google and it looked great. So I was put on the waitlist cuz i booked it too close to trip and they fill up. I got a call 3 days before we were to leave saying they had space. The owner Becky talked to me for 1/2 hour to make me feel comfortable about leaving her. All my anxiety went away and I knew she would be well taken care of. It was so clean! Didn’t smell of kennel at all. The staff is amazing and it was a breeze dropping her off and picking her up. She must have had a good time playing cuz she slept most of the rest of the night. They post pictures every day. It was so nice to see our little puppy having the time of her life. They even went above and beyond and I got a small video just to ease my mama heart. I really can’t stress enough at how amazing this place is! I would give 10 stars if that was an option!
From the moment I walked in the door for a tour, I was greeted with smiles and treated with the respect and understanding. Greg showed us the facility, the numerous cameras they have to watch the dogs, and how the kennels are separate for size. I was very comfortable leaving my fur baby in their care. During her time at daycare, she became close to another dog who happened to be a foster dog through Mikey’s chance. It didn’t take long before we decided to add another fur baby to the family. They both go to daycare 2 days a week, have the BEST time, and are absolutely worn out! Putting our babies in daycare through Ruff inn it is definitely the best decision we made for them. Thank you Greg, Becky, and all the kennel staff for loving my girls and ensuring they have a good time.
We have a golden doodle - which speaks for itself when it comes to the skill and care needed to groom him! Shawn was always so good to him and did the best job. If we weren’t leaving the area, we would keep using them for sure!
The first visit is a meet and greet to make sure your Dog is a good fit. Buddy loves other dogs so he instantly loved this place. The owners and staff were very kind and answered all my questions. My first impressions were all good. Today Buddy had his first day at the Kennel. He seemed to love it and was one pooped pup when I picked him up.
Our rescue Yorkie has been turned away by four different groomers, all claiming his anxiety was too high to handle. But Greg is a true dog whisperer! Not only did our little love bug come out looking adorable, you could tell Greg groomed him with exceptional tenderness and care. He catered to our dog's special needs, and we've never seen him look better. Unlike other places where he left riddled with anxiety and trauma, after his appointment with Greg, he was genuinely happy. Thank you, Greg, for your incredible skill and compassion!
It is no different than dropping your dog off with a trusted relative and they have become like family to us. These guys are great and we are fortunate to have them in our lives.
Ruff INN IT is probably the coolest and chill boarding kennel ever. The dogs are treated like family, the facility is very well equipped and with the owners on site, the security of knowing any situation can be dealt with quickly, is a huge bonus. I can’t say enough how thankful I am to Greg and his team. Ruda will definitely be back for some more fun!! 🫶🏽♥️#tireddoggyisahappydoggy
First off I am thankful they were able to watch my dog but I am not happy about the end result. my dog arrived with no wounds or cuts of any kind when i dropped her , I picked up my dog an I noticed not 1 but 2 wounds on her lip on the top on both sides of her lip I contacted the owner of the boarding facility and she tried to reassure me that my dog could have bit her own lip and or rubbed her face up against a tree/fence but I am not assured or convinced . How am I supposed to feel comfortable and confident leaving someone to watch my dog an when I go to pick up my dog she has a injury no one can give a good and convincing explanation to how or what happened. Thank you for feeding and keeping my dog hydrated and letting her be outdoors. I will not be relying on this facility again in the future if I am needing boarding . Gone 2wks an these wounds are only a couple of days old at max due to healing of the wound and I was not informed on any issues or incidents. I requested a bath an my dog didn't even smell clean and her neck was still dirty it was like I paid $35 dollars for them to just wet her overall I am disappointed
The staff has been very friendly and are very accommodating. There are many additional add-ons available during your pets stay. Even though Loki hates to be away from us, the staff works very well with him.
Our dog doesn't seem to mind this place. Normally, she would try to escape when we've had other places watch her and she doesn't do that here. Highly recommend. Update: After years of coming here, I can say my dog definitely enjoys coming here. It's nice that I can trust that she is being well taken care of when we go out of town. Still highly recommend ❤️
We took our dog Kittle to a kennel for the first time..He was well cared for at this facility. He came home just as sweet and happy as when we left him..
We used the boarding services for the first time with our dog and we will be using Bnb pet retreat for future kenneling as well. They have great communication and very responsive we have to go out of town last minute they were very accommodating to our pets needs. I love that you can also add a frozen Kong toy w/ your pets stay ( our dog loves them ) I highly recommend.
The employees are very friendly and helpful. I have boarded cutter on two occasions for a week plus. Upon request they will give you updates during the dog's stay as to how he's doing. They offer other services,e.g., nail trimming, baths, treats, etc. At the time of pickup they will relate how the dog behaved and what activity they liked. I have been very happy, and I can tell cutter was as well after his vaca.
I am so happy I found this place to board my reactive dog. It was a very difficult decision to board her at all but bnb Pet Retreat definitely treats my dog well and works around her needs. They give me updates on how she is doing so I know after each visit how she is adjusting to being away from home and around other dogs that usually scare her. Thank you for always being so accommodating!
They were so accommodating to our dog and cat, going as far as to let them stay in the same suite! Our pets are bonded and having them together means the world to us since they will be more comfortable. The staff are very friendly and really took the time to keep our dog engaged, I can't thank them enough for the work they do! Whenever we have to go out of town, we will definitely be using BnB again.
This place was an absolute lifesaver! Relocating four hours away from home, they took our precious pup for three weeks while we made the tough transition. Our dog is a rescue german shepherd mix that was severely abused and can be hard to handle because of it but they absolutely doted on and loved on him. He came back to us happy as a clam and freshly bathed too! They offer incredibly flexible pickup and drop off times, plenty of perks for your pup, and were even willing to let us extend the stay by a day very last minute due to our situation. Not to mention the property being gorgeous too! I highly recommend anyone looking to board their dog use BnB Pet Retreat. It truly is a retreat for your pets and we will never go anywhere else ❤️
We're so glad we found BnB Pet Retreat! I'm always nervous to board our dog, who is nervous around strangers and new environments, but I felt he was in great hands with BnB. The kennel attendant took her time to introduce herself to our dog and help him get comfortable with the situation before taking him back. When we picked him up he seemed happier than when we've picked him up at other boarding facilities. Their rates and vaccine requirements seem totally reasonable and their pick up times are convenient. We'll definitely be bringing our pup back the next time we go out of town!
What a wonderful experience! We didn’t worry about our dogs at all! The sitters sent detailed messages of each visit with pictures! We were able to leave our dogs at home where they are comfortable and were still cared for! Donna even made a house visit before our trip to meet our dogs. Such a great business! 10 out of 5 stars!! You will not be disappointed. :)
I was so happy with this company. I have been using them for around a year...Demi and Jayden are amazing. This last time we used them however, a male was scheduled to do most of the visits. I have informed the owner that one of our dogs is afraid of males. I reminded her of this upon seeing the schedule and was told she would let him know. I was not happy with that response, but what can I do at the last minute? We watched on the security cameras as he spent almost an hour chasing her around the house and yard. I don't know what happened but she was limping as she was running. I was texting with him trying to offer suggestions and finally asked him to contact one of the female coworkers who came and was immediately able to pick her up and get her in her kennel. I informed the owner of this and asked if she could get a female to replace him. Her response was "I will see if someone is willing/able"! I was 8 hours away, I couldn't just come home. Unfortunately he continued to come, putting my injured dog on a leash and taking her outside for a few minutes, then returning her to her kennel. She will not potty on a leash. We got home and her kennel had pee and poop in it. She was stuck in her kennel for 3 days essentially. She is still limping and in pain, we are currently trying to figure out what is going on with her with our vet, at our own expense. I can no longer recommend this company after the owner showed such disregard for the physical and mental health of my 10 year old dog. If she couldn't find a replacement then she should have come instead of repeatedly sending him.
We’ve booked with Fur Baby Love twice now to look after our 3 kitties while we’re away. Donna and her team are reliable and we know our kitties are in good hands while we’re gone.
Donna and her team are incredible. They treat my babies just like their own. I am very protective and particular with my littles and they exceeded my expectations. Demi, Jayden and Peter are exceptionally skilled sitters, I love all of them and the way they take care of my babies
Donna is great! I have only left my old man of an English bulldog with family. I have used Donna several times and she truly is the best. I am completely at east knowing that she is taking care of my little guy. I highly recommend her! She is always quick to send pictures of my little guy and and give me a great thorough update on him.
Donna provides a beautiful touch to our lives. Managed to help out with only 24 hours notice for 2 different family emergencies.
Donna made two visits before we even left for our trip! The first was our initial information gathering meeting and the second was to help the dogs get more comfortable with her. While we were gone, she sent us an email with pictures of every time she visited and walked the dogs. She knows how to put your mind at ease. And, the dogs were happy and well cared for. We would not hesitate to have Fur Baby Whisperer pet sit for us again.
We've been leaving our chihuahua with Donna when we leave for vacations. He enjoys staying there and gets lots of love and attention. We especially enjoy the email updates on his stay there while we're gone. Great to know he is in good hands while we're gone. Donna is great with animals, highly recommend Fur baby Whisperer!
I have had nothing but positive things to say about Donna and her employees. I have used them for 3 years and my 3 dogs and 1 cat just love it there. As soon as we pull up to the house, they are so excited and happy. She sends me pictures throughout the day of my animals, and I am always told without asking how their day was. I recommend furbaby whisperer to anyone who wants a place that gives your animals the same love you give them. She (and employees ) have always gone above and beyond my expectations! So wonderful! I just wanted to say Thank you so much for everything! Like picking up my dogs for me when I didn't have a car and had to take other transportation to and from work. I also am extremely pleased with your prices. Thank you Donna and all of the rest of you for everything you do. God Bless !
Fur Baby Love and Care is an amazing company! I have a high maintenance elderly Shih Tzu and Donna and November were the ladies who did an incredible job while we were away on vacation. Having a pet sitter gave us so much comfort knowing our fur babies were cared for and loved. This company sends texts and photos of every visit. Fur Baby Love & Care even has an APP that you can put all your notes about your animals, house, etc. It was so user friendly and I will definitely be using their services again! Thank you for a wonderful experience and taking such great care of our pets!
We have been bringing our dogs to Huck Finn Kennels since 2009. Our first German Shepherd, Toby, loved it so much he couldn’t get out of the car fast enough when we would drop him off. We travel quite a bit so our dogs have extended stays several times a year. We will only leave them at Huck’s for these trips because we know they’re always well taken care of and happy. The service is top notch. We get updates throughout the stay and we can tell the staff genuinely cares for the dogs. The facility is a dog’s paradise with several separate yards and tons of space for them to run and play. Our two dogs Sophie and Arthur are there right now (May 2024) and we always say when we go on vacation, the dogs get to too.
We love Huck Finn! Huck and Linda really care about the animals they board. They get to know them. They’ll tell you how they did will you were gone. Even by phone so it’s obvious they know who they are! The facility has large grassy areas for dogs. They separate the big dogs from the little ones. Moose and Trinity (smallish terriers) love hanging with friends in the small dog space. We board them together and that makes them more comfortable. We love our dogs, but can’t take them everywhere we go. I’m so glad Huck Finn is their home away from home. As an added bonus, we get to see them on Facebook while we’re gone. Huck Finn posts pics of the happenings! 😂
Love brining my cat here. She enjoys the outdoor catio & bird watching. The staff ensures she’s safe and care for her as she was theirs.
DOGGY CAMP! That's what my dog Preson and I call it. They have excellent staff who love your pets like you do. Preson always comes home happy and tired from all the fun he had!! Also, they take photos of the fur babies having a blast!! 1000% recommend!
The last time I used Huck Finn kennels they were great. But for some reason the gentleman that I spoke with must be lazy or a liar!! My dog wasn't neutered last time I brought him in to stay for 3 days!! If I were you I wouldn't NOT take your pet to this place!! It seems they make the rules as they go and pick a choose!!!!!!! Very very very unprofessional!!! If I could give no stars I would!!!
We had been coming here for years and recommended this place to family and friends. That is no longer the case. Originally we were greeted by friendly younger employees (daughters?). Now, it's only a very rude old man. He favors the law firms that Doggy Daycare here (his words). Super rude, curt, idaf attitude to everyone else. After years, we're going somewhere else.
Huck Finn Kennels have been taking care of our dog Humphrey for the past 16 years, whenever we need to be away from home. I have a boarding reservation scheduled for June, and our dog has been having some medical complications so I called them to let them know what was going on with him. The owner Huck, personally called me today to check on our dog Humphrey, and he reassured me that if we needed to make any changes to the reservation that would be fine. We appreciate the services that Huck Finn Kennels offer and the care and compassion they have for the all the animals that they take responsibility for while the owners are away. Thank you Huck and your staff for your fine boarding kennel.
Best kennel in the tricities. I'm very satisfied with the staff. Owners Linda and Huck are the BESTTTT!!!
Huck Finn Kennels has been a great place for leaving our dog for both long periods and short periods. The owners and staff know her by name and by character. They are all very kind, conscientious, caring and professional when it comes to caring for your dog. I recommend them highly-highly!!
**WARNING** You may never see your dog again if you kennel your dogs here. Our dog ESCAPED due to inadequate training, procedures, and facilities. We dropped our small dog off on Thursday, who then escaped on Friday afternoon/evening. We were not contacted until Saturday morning. We immediately cancelled our vacation and drove the 5hrs back to try and find our dog. At first Huck was helpful in the search but grew increasingly agitated as we kept coming back to search. Eventually he lost his temper and refused to let us set traps in the kennel property, where our dog had been spotted recently. He repeatedly called me a “mother******” and told my wife to “Find your own dog.” He never once said he was sorry or showed concern for our dog, only his business. PLEASE don’t risk losing your dog with Huck Finn Kennels. Thankfully we were able to catch our dog Sunday night/Monday morning with traps set surrounding Huck’s property with the support of the very kind neighbors.
This place is amazing. Yes they are serious about the dogs in their care and that is what you want if you love your dog. Al and his staff are always pleasant even when they are busy. They take care of my dog and I don't worry about her at all. I have read these reviews regarding Al and his professionalism and really was put off by them. This man cares about animals and yes he can sometimes seem distracted because he is working with them, BUT he is still professional. I would rather hang with the dogs then some of the people writing these reviews too. I take Zeva there for training and even though she acts the fool sometimes Al stays patient and gives clear direction. I drop her off to play and she comes home happy and exhausted (the way I like her lol). Truly a great place.
Their training program has done wonders for my dog Ripley. They teach concepts in a variety of ways that helps everybody understand, and since the group sizes are kept small, you can easily get one-on-one time. At the end of each session, you're given a summary sheet that recaps the lesson and guides you through home training until the next week. If you ever have side questions or need a little extra help, they're always willing to help and typically have very quick response times through email. Ripley absolutely loves going to class and loses his mind whenever we load up the car. In the past year, Ripley has gone from zero obedience training and being fearful of everything to being an amazing off-leash hiker/adventurer that really only focuses on me. I couldn't have done that without Paws to Play's help!
If you have a small or elderly dog and you don’t work than this place might be good fit for you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it. The application process is lengthy. We waited 2 months to get our dog in for an evaluation and when we did were told he had too much energy and could only come from 9:30-11:20 for the first 10 times. Which was pointless as we wanted him to get quality play time and give us time to run errands and to get work done. Driving our dog in and picking him up in less then 2 hours ended up being more stress than helpful. Our dog has been going to daycare his whole life and never been an issue. I wish they would have told us from the beginning the daycare catered to smaller and older dogs, so we could have went elsewhere the last two months. I am giving two stars because Dallen did respond quickly when we had questions via email. And it does seem they are trying to create a calm environment for elderly and small dogs.
This is the Only place I leave my pup with ! The staff is so wonderful and treat her so well. It makes it easier when I can't take her with me ☺️
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Call this morning that my dog had been attacked during a dog fight and we needed to pick him up. Was told he was a victim. Called our vet and they were already waiting for another dog who had been there that had been attacked. My Golden wouldn't even know how to start a fight. Tried to find out who attacked him. Can't tell you. Who are the owners of the dog that attacked him? Can't tell you. Asked him how many dogs. Can't tell you. What are the plans for the dogs who instigated the fight? Can't tell you, we're sorting it out. Told twice that we signed a waiver. Our dog had to go into surgery for his ear. Lacerations on his neck and chest. Bruises on his shoulders. Over $800.00 bill. It's not the money, it's the idea that they take no responsibility. Found out from the Vet office attached to Paws 4 Play that they also had treated several dogs that day due to the fight. So I ask myself, what the hell went on there and how did this happen?
I was very excited about this day care, but unfortunately had a terrible experience. I took my dog here for their evaluation process, and all of the staff were kind and seemed initially very knowledgeable. Specifically, they seemed to understand that while my dog does enjoy playing with other dogs, he is reactive (i.e., he barks) at other dogs when he is on a leash (something that we have been working on with our trainer for the past year). They called me a few minutes into the evaluation process saying that my dog, and I quote, "tried to eat another dog" and maybe day care wasn't the best place for him. This seemed totally out of character for my dog, who has been to other dog daycares before and done fine. "Eating" another dog implies a bite incident, which is extremely serious and had me concerned. When I asked for more details about the situation, the staff said that my dog just barked and lunged at the other dog when they tried to introduce them on a leash (something that I told them he would do and is the worst way to introduce a reactive dog to another dog). I don't think that this place understands the difference between reactivity and aggression as they were very quick to put my dog in the latter category without actually understanding the situation and dog behavior.
Al and his amazing staff have helped us since 2005 with boarding needs, training needs, including helping a severely damaged rescue dog over come his past fears, and become a great member of society as well as our family. Along with a safe and an amazing time for another rescue dog to run off extra energy with her new puppy Pals at doggie day care. the time and money we have invested with Al and his team and that they've invested in our animals has never been wasted and has made us all better for the effort. If any of my friends ever mention an issue with their dog I always tell them if anyone can help it's going to be Al at Paws to play!💜🐾💜
I highly recommend Paws to Play Daycare. My Shar Pei has been attending Paws to Play for almost six months on a regular basis. The staff care deeply for all of the dogs in their care and it is exhibited in my Shar Pei's excitement as we approach their facility. He cannot wait to visit with the staff and all of his canine friends. Last month I had to board him at the last minute for a week due to a family emergency, and he was taken such great care of so I highly recommend Paws to Play for boarding as well.
I called today to inquire more information about dog boarding. I spoke to Will he seemed very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to make sure my pup stays calm during his visit. I’m definitely considering taking my bulldog there. I really appreciated the time he took to answer all my questions.
It has been an incredibly frustrating experience dealing Paws to Play. I enrolled my two terriers here a few weeks ago prior to listing my house for sale. I filled out the lengthy applications and got the medical records sent in to the business, and took my dogs in for an introductory interview, which seemed to go just fine. However, things took a turn for the worse shortly thereafter. The proprietor is extremely unprofessional and does not respect the customer's needs or schedule. He was difficult to work with, and was unwilling to offer even a basic level of customer service. He even had the nerve to call me and lecture me about how inappropriate it was that I had not been bringing my dogs in to play care more frequently (Sorry, I wasn't aware that I, the customer, was obliged to meet YOUR demands for my business, fella). And when I did bring my dogs a week after his rude and inappropriate phone call, he informed me that he had deleted our account because we had not been frequenting his business enough times...wow, thank you! Great service!!! My dogs have been enrolled in doggy daycare before and did just fine; he made it clear he did not want my business without undergoing a series of aggravating and frustrating interactions. I thought our initial "interview" where my dogs played there for 3 hours and did just fine was sufficient; but no, according to the owner my dogs need lengthy exposure with extreme frequency and regularity (but only in short doses according to this man's schedule) in order for you to patronize his business. Apparently customers exist in this man's universe to serve him and his business, not the other way around. Does it suit your schedule to drop off your dog? Better make sure it suits the owner's as well, otherwise you will get a lecture and pushback from this guy. Do you need to drop of your dog for 4 hours? Sorry, he thinks they should only be left for 2 hours because...reasons?...Do you only have the time or resources to drop your dog(s) off when it is convenient for you? Too bad! If it doesn't suit the owner of Paws to Play, you will not get anything other than crappy service and/or a lecture. I suppose he's better at interacting with animals than he is with people, because I found him to be very aggravating to deal with, and possessing of extremely deficient customer service skills. I hope no other unsuspecting person will have to waste their time and deal with this crummy business like I did. When taking your dogs to this place be prepared for a litany of rules (both written and unwritten--he seems to make rules up as he goes about how/when you can bring your dog in for play care, depending on many factors that are plucked out of thin air by him). You should commit to dropping your dogs off with precise regularity according to the owner's rules and parameters (beware, they seem to change according to his whims), not your needs, your convenience, or your schedule. You should expect a lecture if you deviate from his rules and parameters, or whatever may be going through his head at the moment. My entire experience dealing with this business has been negative from start to finish. I have not felt this exasperated dealing with a business in a long time. If you decide to take your dog to this place, be prepared for hassle, or just save yourself the time and hire a dog walker.
I started taking our Basset Hound here after covid shut everyone down and my previous one called a day before her appointment to cancel and tell us they were closing, after rescheduling her 3 different times. It took a while to find someone open and our basset desperately needed a bath and her glans drained. She also has a super thick and healthy undercoat that sheds ALL.....YEAR.....ROUND!! If we don't keep on top of it, it gets bad and she gets uncomfortable. But, Rosemary did such a fabulous job with her, she's 13 and needed undercoat THERAPY it's so bad (lol), we soon were scheduling her for every 2 weeks for maintenance, our Welsh Corgi every month, and our Ragdoll Himalayan ever 6 weeks. We love this team!! Rosemary is my dog's groomer, and Laura is fabulous with my princess kitty. I highly recommend them. Their prices are comparable and competitive with the other places I've taken my animals over the years, and everyone is so nice! You can just tell they love animals, even the fiesty ones!
My sassy girl is a rescue. She has had a very hard life up until I got her. So scared and fearful of everything and sound. Now she thinks she owns me and the house lol. Even though she is my sassy pants she still won't let me to things to her, like nail trims and ear drops, she yelps like bloody murder. Other groomers had given up on her because of her drama. Then comes along TABBY. Sassy literally melts in Tabs arms. We love Tabby.
Tabby is an excellent dog trainer & groomer! Puppy school was a great first step for me. Tabby really cares about making sure you and your pup understand the training.
I've been so happy with The Doghouse! My Ziva (a miniature schnauzer) is beautifully clipped, shampooed and pampered there. Tabby is her groomer. But there are several other groomers as well. Ziva isn't afraid and enjoys her visits. 2 more plusses: the price is reasonable and service is fast. Thanks Tabby! ❤️
Amazing job! Tabby took our Mona (5yr Maltese) and gave her the cutest puppy cut! There's no one as loving and caring for dogs like Tabby and her talents. If you need your dog to look fantastic and want to make sure they're handled with care, respect, and love then you must contact Tabby at the DogHouse! Thank you & and we'll be back
Jennifer was my groomer and she did a fantastic job. My pup is very scared of getting brushed/groomed(he's adopted so idk his past possible traumas) and by the time I got him back he was very happy and looked great. I already have another appointment and plan on sticking with the DogHouse for any future grooming.
Amazing I have 100% trust in Tabby and anyone she has associated with her business. I have had four different pets come in and they have been treated with kindness and respect they deserve. The standard of care is that in which I never have to worry about the care of my animals. They all come back fluffy dry clean and happy groomed. They go above and beyond. They are all liscensed in the state of WA which isnt a requirement but its just another example of the high standard they hold in their business.
Took my 2 cats and 1 dog in for a flea dip. My apartment complex has been having issues with them outdoors and my animals were covered. I had tried collars, carpet powders, sprays and oil. I bombed my house after dropping my animals off here. Not a bug was alive after. I headed to the dog house to grab my animals who were oddly shaken up. They had been here once before and left happy and calm. My dog had been here tons of times for his nails and did okay. This time my animals were shaken up, wet, and did not look like they even had a brush ran through them. I took them straight home and into the house. I started to unpack all my dishes and food, decided to stop and brush the dead ones out of the animals so i could clean more thoroughly. Barely any dead fleas fell off my animals, instead what i found was their fir still infested withlive fleas. After spending 147$ i would have hoped that a more thorough job would have been done. I messaged the owner who was quick and fast to get me away from her. She told me to call Jen, the woman that took care of all 3 of my animals in a matter of 3 hours somehow. Jen constantly talked over me when i tried to answer her questions, so i yelled at her. The whole time, the owner who couldn't be bothered and claimed she didn't know what happened with them, was talking through jen to me on the phone. I got the opportunity to finally talk and it turns out Jen had put the phone down without warning and was ignoring me. I was angry and tried to call back. 4 tries and Jen answered, then handed me off to tabby who claimed i had been coming in for a couple years with a flea problem. (I didn't even adopt most of my pets until around December). She would not let me talk, claimed i basically neglected my animals and without asking if i had taken other precautions, she claimed that i did nothing and blamed me. Both Jen and tabby claimed the problem was that the fleas jumped back onto my pets when they got home and that they would not refund my money so i could take them to a groomer that would do the job correctly. Thoroughly dissatisfied.
These people are badasses my dogs look great and they are not easy to groom. They both have trust issues, but not at this place. They have a magic touch when it comes to animals and they do a great job.
Tabby is great. Confident and relaxed with dogs, so they trust her. She does an excellent grooming job.
The best way I can describe I've Gone Mutts is "Life-Saver!" When my wife and I unexpectedly found ourselves in a first-floor apartment with no gated patio, we knew we couldn't leave our husky alone for twelve hours a day, 3-4 days a week while we worked. I looked up local pet sitting on google and luckily found I've Gone Mutts! My experience with I've Gone Mutts and Heather has been nothing short of exceptional. Heather went out of her way to work with us financially, offer training advice and recommend trainers, helped us address some re-homing issues and provided an all-around spectacular service. The level of personal interest in her clients is remarkable. I would highly recommend I've Gone Mutts to anyone in the Tri-Cities in need of pet sitting services.
We have used Heather numerous times with our two cats. One is a special needs Calico ( deaf with hip and eating difficulties) We have gone as long as 15 days with no problems. Cats are now familiar with Heather and we would highly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs.....She goes above and beyond!!!!
Heather has taken care of our 2 dogs for well over two years now she loves them like her own! We trust her 100% with their care and in our home.
I've been a client of Heather's for years now and she's always been very reliable professional in the care of my two dogs. Would highly recommend her for dog sitting!
I've never serviced this person and do not know him/her.
I boarded my two dogs 2 year old and 11 years old for 6 days . The were very well treated and cared for . They came home happy and behaved like normal . I definitely recommend them and will use them again
I have frequently take my dogs there for boarding but I also recently took them for daycare and they loved it! My dogs always come up tired and enjoy it! The staff is so nice and always loves seeing my dogs.
My dog Sadie went twice for dog daycare And it went well. I will do it a couple more times before I leave her overnight. I was very pleased by the service.
This was the first time we boarded our dog at a kennel overnight. Campbells was recommended to us since she doesn't always play well with others and has arthritic hips, so can't play too much anyway. She seemed happy, but glad to see us. I believe she was well taken care of.
My wife and I were taking a day trip to Seattle. Cora (our dog) stayed there Saturday overnight and most of Sunday. When we arrived to drop her off Saturday morning the office had an overwhelming aroma of bleach, but the lady at the front desk seemed nice so I looked past it and there was nothing else out of the ordinary other than the place only having three "parking spots". When we picked our dog up we had to awkwardly wait outside the office (since there is only room for two people in the office), but you could hear what sounded like every dog barking hysterically the whole time we waited. When we received our dog, she was anxious and very excited to leave. She was whining the whole drive home (which is very abnormal) and when she barked you could tell her voice was gone from excessive barking (which is also very abnormal). Then when we got home she drank an entire bowl of water and ran straight to her food bowl. The next day we found a scrape on her leg that took her fur clean off (about the size of a quarter). We have boarded Cora before plenty of times at a place by our old residence and she has always came back happy as can be with absolutely no indication of her not being happy and she usually sleeps for the next day or two from how much she played. My dog is not dead so I won't give you a 1 star, but I will DEFINITELY not be coming back here.
I brought my 2 great danes for doggie day care once a week for 4 weeks so they'd be acclimated for a longer stay. No major problems for the short stays, staff was helpful and polite, and the dogs were gradually getting acclimated. However, I left my dogs for a 3 day stay, Friday through Sunday. Came back to find my dogs completely stressed, outside in 90° heat and no water in sight. The staff returned wet beds with a vomit smell. After getting home we found major rashes on both dogs in the groin area and very bad scrape on my male dane. The owner said he was perplexed about the rashes but thought it might have been caused by the kennel sanitizer. This is extremely alarming as danes do not expose their groin to the floor when laying down, they aren't physically able to and the sanitizer (Wysywash) label strictly states to let the kennel dry before allowing animals back in. The owner admitted his daughters helped but it seems they abused my dogs. I do NOT recommend long term stays here, only daycare.
We board our dogs here every time we go out of town. They are responsible and reliable. They have been in business for over 30 years and is a family-owned business. When we refer our friends we always refer Campbell's kennels. When we leave our babies we know that we can enjoy our vacation knowing that they are in safe hands and that's all that matters.
Thank you! It was the first time ever we left our boxer in any kennel. He spent 3 days there. The staff was very nice! They responded to my calls and provided feedback about our boy!
We have been with Campbell’s Kennels since March 2020, it was our first time using this kind of services for my brother in law’s dog since he can’t bring it to schooling and we wanted to make sure that the dog will be in a safe place with good people. And I am glad that we chose this kennel. During the peak of the pandemic, they still opened their kennels and have been very patient and accommodating with our schedule. We bring our dog to stay for 3-4 days and so far he has been the same good dog except for he’s always excited to go to this kennel, probably because he has found new friends 😁 I would definitely recommend this kennel to all of the people who needs this kind of services!
I've taken my dog Harley here a couple of times, and he seems to really like it there. I couldn't be happier that I found Campbell's kennel! I don't have to worry about him when I'm gone. Thank you!!
EDIT: Y'all... the owner of this business called me today and literally tried to convince me that my sweet boy is a hazard to my family, and to reconsider my negative review of this business. To be clear, he's been boarded at their facility when my family has traveled for THREE YEARS and we've received nothing but accolades for his sweetness and behavior from this business. I've raised this pup since he was a starving baby and he has known nothing but love and kindness since coming to my home. He has been around countless small children and smaller animals and has shown ZERO signs of aggression. This is discrimination and prejudice from this business's owners without a doubt. Brought my two sweet pups here for three years only to be denied service because they changed their policy and now discriminate breeds. The staff called me to cancel my reservation because they had an incident where a pitty attacked a cat. What kind of pet boarding establishment allows dogs near cats in the first place?
I usually have been bringing my dog here and he loves it here. Except the last 2 times he has been getting sores on his 2 back paws not a good look when I leave him for a couple of days and come home to a dog in pain.
Our dog loves this place! She comes here for day care as well as boarding long term. Staff is caring and pays attention to her needs.
We have been taking our dogs here for a few months when we go out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. Making reservations is easy because of their website. We have been very pleased with the care our dogs have received.
Our dog Ranger is so excited to come here! I love the staff and they are really sweet to our dog. Caring, professional, and the facility is clean. They have even been able to bathe and trim tonails for Ranger (who doesn't normally like this type of attention). 😊 He comes home calm, happy, with a normal appetite and sleepy from the excitement.
They do a great job taking care my dog.
It was amazing to find a boarding kennel place while I had to be gone for my dad's funeral. If you are looking for a great place to take care of your dog or dogs while you are gone this is the place. My dog loved it here and was well taken care of. I will be using them for now on while I am having to go somewhere for a long weekend or a period of time away.
Had a great experience boarding my dog here! I was very anxious about it and they were more than happy to give me an updated when I called. Corey especially did a great job, she checked us in and out and was super comforting anytime I wanted to check on my dog. I would not hesitate to board my dog here again!!
Second time boarding our dog - the first time was with another local kennel that we had a bad experience with so we were very hesitant but I heard about Columbia River Kennels from a colleague who highly recommended them. Super happy with our service! Loved the option to add a bath and extra play time.
Highly discriminatory on dog breeds. I cannot recommend ever doing business with this establishment.
Absolutely outstanding boarding service! I was extremely nervous boarding my 9m/o lab mix, Venus, for the first time but as soon as I met the girls I knew my pup would be in great hands. When I picked her up it was clear she had a great time and loved all the friends she made. Not only did they make Venus feel welcomed and treat her amazing but their customer service was over the moon. I highly recommend Furs 'N Gurls and will definitely be coming back.
Furs'NGurls is an amazing experience. I bring my pups for daycare all the time and they always come home tired and happy. I enjoy the fact that my pups get to socialize all day with those outside their pack in a safe and stimulating environment. The Gurls make sure that everybody plays appropriately, especially since my girl can be a little rough. It makes me feel good knowing that Eevee and Tumy, as well as my foster pups, will have a great time when they visit "The Gurls".
Absolutely amazing! Our fur baby was completely pampered with them. It's soo much better than Petsmart. They provided updates on our pup. Coming from the desert 🏜she loved the grassy play area. I will plan my next vacation around getting my pup her own vacation at Furs 'N Gurls. …
Thank you Sheri! You are Paw-fectly amazing
This family run business is the best in town. Socializing is important and all dogs are initially tested on how they will fit in (and if). Great care of our dogs, Fred and Lola.
They LOVE dogs. And they're good "at" dogs. And they're good at training (coaching) owners.
First time having my dog board in general!! Scary for me because I've never been out of town but thankfully this place took her in last minute and gave us a tour to see how she would do, she did very well!. Amazing customer service too. During my vacation I was updated per my request of how overall she did and that meant alot!! THANKS TONS:))
This is doggy Disneyland. Left my two beloved golden doodles for 10 days and came back happy and tired. We now do doggy daycare at least once a week. They run to the door so excited to play with their friends. When picking them up, they are equally happy. Best place in town!
I was recently between houses and didnt have anyone to watch my cats. Queensgate Pet Inn worked with me with when I could bring my cats in, how much it would be, and were okay with them being there for an extended stay. :) They encourage you to visit your pets if you're not out of town and some days, were even able to let me come see them while they were closed. I can tell my cats were well taken care of while they were boarded and I'm really happy with this experience!
Friendly people, great facilities, and my dog always comes home happy and exhausted.
Our dog Luna has fallen in love with this place! She can't wait to play with her puppy pals. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I trust them more than some of my friends.
Just had to have my dog watched for an hour or so, easy to get to and easy to pick up. As long as you communicate with them things will go smoothly
Our little Buddy has been here for hours at a time and for 3-5 weeks at a time. He is excited and eager to go in every time he’s there & just as eager to go home when we pick him up. That says it all! Great people, great interaction, great home away from home!
This is the one kennel where I don't have to worry about my dog being treated like a dog, here she is family. She usually gets very severe separation anxiety, but she doesn't mind the K-Nine -Kat Kingdom. It is the one place I can leave her, without feeling guilty. I highly recommend this kennel. My only complaint is they don't take credit cards.
