I highly recommend West Wind Kennels! I had to kennel my 3 dogs there and I never been to a kennel that smelled so clean! Valerie took excellent care of them, even my mastiff that is not too sure of new people. Thank you Valerie!

We had to board our three dogs for a few days and while we were away we had an emergency and ended up leaving them for 12 days. Valerie was very kind and told us not to worry about our girls. She took great care of them and helped us out. Ours girls loved going there. Thanks Valerie

We feel confident our dog is well taken care of when we can't have her with us. We live downstate, but use Westwind to take care of our dog when we vacation in the area. We know she is well cared for and much safer than leaving her in our camper for extended periods of time, if she can't come with us.

Absolutely terrible, unprofessional!! Leaves your dog unattended locked in the building for days on end with a full kennel while Valerie goes out of town. If there was a fire or a problem your dog would die. Rarely feeds or takes care of your dog. I am appalled. NEVER take your pets here if you care about them. It’s worse than jail.

They were fantastic with our dog. He is very protective over his family and doesn't like being away from us or around strangers and they handled him like champs!!!!! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter for their pet. They treat them like their own!!!!!!!

We put our 15 month old husky at the Kennels for the first time and it was great. Would definitely recommend the Kennels.

Our dog has separation anxiety but does great when he goes there. Very friendly and great with the dogs.

I only board my dogs when really necessary but I feel good taking them to Riverside Pet Lodge. Michelle takes great care of them and the place is very clean. The dogs have their own run outside and don't have to be with other dogs. My dogs are small so I feel they're safer that way.

The owner, Michelle, takes very good care of the pets that are boarded with her. The kennels are clean and Michelle is quick to respond to phone calls or texts. My dog is old and has some health issues. When I have to go out of town, I always know she is in good hands with Michelle.

We always use riverside pet lodge whenever we are in town and need somewhere to keep our pet for a little while. They always try to accommodate a good drop off or pick up time with us and they even offer a military discount. We will continue to book through them for the foreseeable future.

Awesome place for my dogs! Owner is friendly and down to earth. This place came highly recommended and I can see why. Also the owner will text with you if you want to message about your pet.

It was our 1st time taking our husky here, and the owner was great and made us feel comfortable and treated our little girl like she was her own. We will definitely be taking her back there when needed and will not feel any anxiety or have any concerns. Thanks for watching over our little girl.

The staff here is very friendly . I took my 11 year old golden retriever in my one year old Weimaraner here when I was vacationing in Oscoda. The kennel very clean and there were a lot of dogs there. When we picked up our dogs they washed their dog beds for us !! I would highly recommend this place.

We have used Paula's Pet Sitting for over 2 years now and taken advantage of the wide range of services they offer. They are always flexible with our ever changing schedule and always go above and beyond to make sure our fur baby is taken care of. Another great feature is the time to pet app that they use. Everyday I get an update with pictures of how our little fur baby is doing during her visit. The pet sitters are always professional and always respond quickly to questions and schedule changes. I have only used them a few times so far but HIGHLY recommend!!! My friends first showed me how to get a pet sitter with an app while I was away visiting them and I loved the idea so I could set up times without having to call. When my one of my other friends told me about Paula's Pet Sitting it was exactly what I wanted! Unlike Rover and Wag you get to meet your team and that was extremely important to me. They came, saw where we kept pet items in the house, and met me and my pups. When they came both times, they were fantastic! They let you know when they have arrived, and then at the end they send you pictures of their visit as well as a message letting you know how it went. It is so nice to have finally found a pet sitter I feel comfortable with and with many options to use (dog walks, mid day let outs, overnights, etc.). Again, I HIGHLY recommend them.

I brought home a 6 week old puppy and hated leaving him alone during the day. Driving home on my lunch break daily was not a sustainable plan. A friend recommended Paula's pet sitting and I am so pleased I contacted them! My puppy gets visits twice a day and loves each woman on the team that is assigned to him. They refresh his water, prep Kong toys, replace soiled potty pads, and send me a report with pictures after each visit. I am still working on training and the ladies work along with me. If I require the dog sits before a gate is opened, they do the same. If I reward my puppy for relieving himself in the correct place, they do to. I don't have to worry that visits are counteracting the training. If you are considering using a pet sitter- go with Paula's!

We used to avoid travelling because it was so uncomfortable asking friends and neighbors to care for our cat while we were gone and the cat would get upset and pee on the carpets. With Paula's we know our pets routine is as normal as possible so they're happy when we get back. They even water our plants and come at 12 hr intervals to administer meds to our 17 yr old cat.

We have moved to Midland in 2018 we needed to travel shortly there after. We are so lucky to have found Paula’s Petsitting. Without her and her staff it would’ve been very difficult to go on trips and feel assured that our “hairy “children are very well taken care of. Before moving here we used to “board “ our Pets and having them at home in their own environment is such a reassuring thing. Thank you for giving us peace of mind !

We hired Paula's pet sitting on 2 different occasions now. Their service is outstanding. The pet sitters are going above and beyond at each visit, they will check everything and keep you informed every step of the way. Last minute requests are responded to within minutes. Will definitely continue to use.

We planned a trip and three months before we left, decided to get two more westies, in addition to our four year old. We have only left the four year old with family members, but with two puppies, thought it would be best to keep their routine at home. Our vet recommended Paula's and the experience was wonderful! Daily updates and pictures made our vacation so much more enjoyable, knowing our boys were at home, playing in their own yard and sleeping in their own beds. Gigi did a wonderful job with the dogs and answered every question I had while we were gone!

Paula's Pet Sitting provides excellent care and recreation for my crazy cat, while providing me with peace of mind. And that is all I ask. I receive 'real time' reports and photos, which when shared with others always evokes the same response: "I don't get that kind of service from my pet sitter!" Horrible never take your pets filthy smelly my pets had to be bathed before I could let them in the house they were covered in piss. Not sure if they were fed food gone but they ate as if they never were fed.

If I could give this place a negative star, oh believe me I WOULD! The ONLY reason this place gets a 1 star is because it wont let me post by not putting 1 star. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL(S) here, UNLESS you want them to be DRAGGED across the ground ONLY BECAUSE my dog didn’t want to go “inside”. My mom dropped 3 of our dogs off because we were going to be out of town for a couple days. When I found out what this lady did to 1 of our dogs I was FURIOUS. My fiancé and I went to pick them up the next day (no choice) I told my side of the story (from what my mom told me) then I asked her for her side of the story (she told me) I asked the lady “how would you like it if someone DRAGGED your dog into someplace because they “didn’t want to come inside”? She said “they’re surviving” I said back to her “BARELY” she told my fiancé and I to “get out”we both said “absolutely NOT, give us our animals. She wouldn’t until we paid her. We DID NOT pay her. The moment she dragged my dog across the ground, THAT was her payment. I wouldn’t bring ANYTHING here even if it was the last place on earth. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!

If I could give 0 starts I would. My husband took one of our dogs hunting and she rolled in deer poop. He called this place to give her a bath and when he came to pick her up they cut/shaved her fur. The cut job wasn’t even good and looks butchered all around. They also cut almost all of her floof off of her butt. She is a border collie and the lady claimed she was matted. When my husband messaged with the lady she replied “well at least it will grow back”. Extremely frustrated and do not recommend going here.

Wow! Our Alaskan Malamute went in for grooming and stayed a week while we were on vacation. Absolutely thrilled with the grooming. Every single inch of our dog from head to toe was impeccable, fresh and clean. So much time went into this. Very impressed!!! 🔥 …

It was our 1st time having our Newfoundland & Saint Bernard groomed here and we were extremely satisfied. The patience that the groomer provided with our Newf (she is 10 & has arthritis) by letting her lay down when she needed to means he truly cares, he did a wonderful job grooming both dogs and we will definitely be back & recommend them to others.

They were great with my dog. In 1 HR, he was brushed out, bathed, clipped, and had his nails clipped. He is a big boy so I only met the husband. He works with large breed dogs.

I've never left my fur babies with a "sitter" before so it was a little nerve wracking to leave them for the weekend. The owner could tell that I was worried so she ensured me everything would be okay and wished me a safe and fun trip. I came back to the same happy 4 legged wiggle butts and the owner had even washed the blanket I had left with them. I didn't leave the owner with an easy task as I have a pitbull that is aggressive to dogs outside of his family, and I left her with a 4 month old German shepard who is afraid of her own shadow and doesnt know how to walk on a leash yet. For anyone who says this place is gross and smells....it is a boarding facility, but whenever I was in there it smelt like cleaning supplies. All of the cages were clean, decent sizes and the dogs had access to fresh air. I think the owner is very nice, sensitive to my feelings and needs, very fair on pricing and she followed all the little directions and suggestions I had left with her. Thank you for your services, this will be my go to place whenever I have to go down state!

My encounter with Antler Creek Kennel was extremely rude. I requested a female to trim my dog's nails because my dog does not do well with males. I was reassured a female would be there. No female. The man was rude and impatient. I warned them Doebee was not an easy dog to trim...she reassured me that they could handle it. Obviously the can not. I wasted my time and money they failed to provide any service. Not even friendly!

Very quick & easy to get my dog in to be groomed. His appointment took 2 hours. Pleasant to deal with. She even took him in on a Sunday. I was very surprised! Buck came home shiny & smelled so good. Very happy! Thank you Antler Creek! 🙂 …

Clipped our dogs nails so short they all bled. Combed and brushed so hard the dog had scabs all over her body. My friend caught the owner jerking and swearing a small dog around because it wouldn't hold still while she was working on it. Never going back to this place!!! Would not recommend it to any one.

This is a great place. My dog was abused before I adopted her. Even with that going against her she still learned an incredible amount from these wonderful people. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Very fair and honest people. My dog loves it here!

Great owner! I bring my 10 yr old pitbull in to get her nails cut and he gets right down on the ground with her and does an awesome job!
