Dropped my Navy girl off for almost 2 weeks and the staff was so kind! I checked in multiple times throughout my trip and they responded quickly every time letting me know how she was doing. Navy celebrated her 5th birthday there and they gave her a treat and dressed her up and took pictures and videos and it was so sweet to see people love her as much as I do. I highly recommend Holy Dog! :)

We have been using Holy Dog for dayplay and boarding since November 2020 and I couldn't survive my life without them! My dogs attend dayplay nearly every day of the work week. Roxanne and her staff treat my dogs like their own. I know when they are at Holy Dog they are getting love and attention. The staff takes time to understand each of my dog's personalities. Roxanne has helped me during times when I've needed last-minute, emergency, boarding -- no questions asked. Whether they are boarding or just hanging out for the day, my dogs jump out of the car with excitement and come home happy and healthy. This is one of the few boarding kennels in Fairbanks that allows you to tour the area before signing your dog up. They have great communication and staff that are trained to work with all kinds of dogs. Our GSD is reactive at times and he leaps out the car as soon as he sees where we are at, he truly loves this place! They keep you updated with pictures and messages as well as Facebook post about your pet! They even give special meals for holidays

My dog gets excited to go to Holy Dog for the day. He is a puppy and he loves the people who care for him there. The whole process for pickup and drop off runs really smoothly. After his first three day overnight there, I picked him up and then had forgotten something and had to go back and my dog was excited to go back and wanted to go in. That says it all. Very reasonable with a punchcard option. Be sure to do a flea/tick treatment every month for your dog to be here, they don't sell the treatments there. Out of the way but worth it for the great caring team of doggie professionals!

This was our first time boarding our dog. She is big and energetic. The staff were so pleasant when we dropped her off and not deterred at all by her size or excitableness. They were quick to respond to our inquiries of how she was doing while we were gone. She was very happy and clean when we picked her up. I think she had a great little vacation herself. We were more than pleased and will definitely be back. Thank you for providing this exceptional service!

Holy Dog is the best, my dogs used to come here often when I lived in Fairbanks both for day play and overnights. I had adopted an anxious dog that couldn't be left home alone so he went for day play a few times a week, it was so convenient to be able to meet the shuttle at the Fred Meyer parking lot in the mornings instead of having to drive all the way out to the kennel. Roxanne is amazing and I am so grateful for her care and willingness to accommodate my anxious escape artist of a dog!

Holy Dogs took excellent care of Allie during our short vacation (4 days) I recommend them if you are in the Fairbanks area. I would have given them 5 stars, but the website is outdated making the signup process difficult.

Alaska Pet Nanny was so wonderful! They took such good care of our home and 3 animals while away on a trip. They gave us the peace of mind that our home and animals were well taken care of, took the stress off us. The animals loved having someone there every day. They were entertained each day by some kind of fun activity. Top notch service and I definitely recommend. It definitely shows they love what they do and they love your pets!

Lynnae is so amazing! We had her stay overnights with our cat and dog, and she went so above and beyond in taking care of them and our house. Our dog loved her, and even our less-than-friendly cat made friends with her. We will definitely be using Alaska Pet Nanny for all of our future petsitting needs!

My list of people that I trust to watch my dogs was basically nonexistent until I met Lynnae and Nev. They provided drop in services for my high energy German Shepherd including a last minute visit. After each visit, I received an update with a video. They kept Aggy active for the full hour and she had so much fun. I was extremely comforted to know that they gave Aggy the attention she needed (and then some) while I was at work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lynnae is absolutely the best possible option for your pet sitting needs. We have been lucky to have her watch our babies for 6 years now. She makes sure they stick to their physical & med routines and are comfortable and happy while we are away. They get to play and have new activities to keep them occupied. And is willing to stack mail & packages safely until our return and water plants as needed! We get daily updates, which helps us know they’re doing great! From senior to puppy (and many more critters) she’s got a covered!

Lynnae from AK Pet Nanny has been the absolute best with our sweet dogs. We have been so thankful for Lynnae’s care, as she goes the extra mile to make sure our pets are comfortable and loved. We’ve traveled away from home and used her overnight services. It has given us a peace of mind while away — we know our pets AND home are in great care. They did an amazing job with my puppers!!! I was able to leave for my wedding knowing my dogs were fully cared for. She took care of them like they were her own and sent videos and updates everyday!

Alaska Pet Nanny is absolutely the best thing you could do for your pet. Lynnae was recommended by a friend and we could not be happier. Our cats were pampered and most definitely loved by someone who seems to love your pet as much as you do. She provided enrichment for them (completely unexpected!) and sent us a daily diary of her visits. We joked that the cats may not be happy when we returned because they missed AK Pet Nanny too much. 😻I can say with certainty, you would be nothing less than exceptionally satisfied using these services.

Had the opportunity to check out Innoko Boarding Kennel this past fall. Was very impressed. Kennels were well maintained and clean. Love that there are indoor and outdoor kennels available as well as a large play area. Owner takes pride in the care of each and every 4 legged "guest", all are loved and welcomed into an inviting and comfortable home away from home. I highly recommend.

Just picked up my dog today, he was boarded for 2 weeks. He was very happy and everything was so clean, the owner was very friendly, I would highly recommend them!!! Prices very good as well!

We have tried three times to join your group three times. Everyone does not seem to care. X🤦🏻‍♀️I’m so disappointed because we have spoken behove this post. I love my Pyr and he us a good point!!

I was dreading leaving my boy for two weeks but upon picking him up today I was assured I had nothing to worry about. The staff were so friendly and reassuring and my boy came home healthy and happy. Will definitely come here again.

We have a Labrador Retriever who get's very hyperactive when she see's people. But she's never ignored and looks like she always has a fun time at her home away from home. I gave 4 though because she smells WAY too much of antibacterial and sanitization stuff when she get's back. (I would give 4 and a 1/2 stars if I could)

I boarded a Belgium Malinois who is very high-strung. After being away for a week, I returned to a happy, clean, and well-groomed dog. The staff was very positive. I will bring Nick again and have no concerns about his well-being. If you run a working dog, then have no fear leaving them there.

We took our Mr Business a Jack Russell to Chelsea’s Pet Resort, it was kind of a last minute thing as we found out we could not take a dog with us last minute, they took him in and took care of my sweet boy, I am so happy with the care he received I would definitely use this kennel again… thank you all for taking such good care of my boy❤️❤️❤️

Update: We have a new new small dog, Boots, and he spent his first time boarded at Chelsea’s at 9 months. They continue to do a fabulous job. The staff there really pay attention to the dogs. Our little guy really can’t handle the cold but I failed to tell them this. When we picked him up today they mentioned this to us. I really appreciate that they pay attention to the individual needs of each dog. Once again I highly recommend this for any size animal! I highly recommend this pet resort. Our little dog Fritz stays with them several times a year, and has done so for years. All of the animals on this property are happy and healthy. We had Fritz groomed by Chelsea on his last day and he looks great. It was the best grooming he has had. I really appreciate all of the staff here and really feel like they enjoy the animals. Fritz is always happy to return to Chelsea’s Pet Resort. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

I do not like to speak badly of local businesses, but I will not be using this facility again. My pets came home generally happy and well fed but I just had a terrible gut feeling about the cleanliness of this facility. It smells strongly of bleach and urine. All of my animals and my pet carrier were immediately given a bath when they got home. Their fur was sticky and the smell was so so bad. My dogs and cats have never peed on themselves, and my cat had wet himself and the dogs smelled like they had been sleeping in urine. This is the smell if animals not being let out, or staying in a dirty facility. If it is strong to a human nose, imagine how it must be to their sense of smell. My husband was retching and the car had to be aired out after bringing them home. Overall, I am thankful my animals are alive but it was not a good experience. Update - My dogs both are vaccinated and have kennel cough. And while at the vet, I happened to meet another person who had picked up their pet from here with an open bleeding cut on her paw. This place has really gone down.

Edit: Sadly, I am having to downgrade my review. My small dog was injured on two separate occasions while staying at Chelsea's. I think the injury was caused by my own dog and her separation anxiety/FOMO, and not due to the staff or another dog. Accidents are bound to happen, but the staff didn't seem to know what happened and didn't notice the wound until we pointed it out when we picked her up. They also didn't seem bothered by my dog having a bloody cut and bump on her head and did not apologize. When I contacted Chelsea, she was apologetic. However, since this is the second time this has happened, we won't be returning. I don't feel like my dog is safe if the staff does not notice injury. Previous Review: My dog loves going to Chelsea's Pet Resort! The staff are friendly and really seem to love the dogs. When you live in Alaska, most us have to travel outside the state or down to Anchorage several times a year. It's important to me that my dog have a safe place to stay. I've visited other kennels in town and they were kind of chaotic. Chelsea's Pet Resort is a very peaceful place. From my experience, these are the things I like most about Chelsea's Pet Resort: 1) Chelsea and her staff are able to give the dogs individual attention. One day they noticed my puppy wasn't in the mood to play with other dogs, so they brought her upstairs to the office. How sweet! 2) Chelsea is a great groomer, and since she has a relationship with my dog, it helps to lessen my dog's anxiety about grooming and my dog looks great! 3) My vet keeps his own dogs here when going out of town, so that carries a lot of weight with me. 4) The property is gorgeous, the office and kennel are clean and well organized. A previous reviewer said they were not allowed to see the kennel. That was not my experience. I asked, and they gave me a tour, no problem!

This was my very first time to go on vacation and leaving my dogs with somebody else. I took them there due to the reviews I had read and because I liked the idea of getting pictures and updates on my babies....When I went to Chelsea's to schedule a trial run for my two puppies,everybody was so friendly and helpful. Except when I asked if I could see the kennels. I was told I can't see them, because it would be a safety hazard. This should have been clue number one.....I left them for two nights at Chelsea's for a trial run. I'd asked for treating it like the real thing and to send me pictures and updates. No problem, I was told. Well, it never happened. This should have been clue number two....I left my dogs with Chelsea's and left for 13 days. On the day I dropped them off, the one girl choked my older dog with the leash and I don't know what ever happened to my puppy, because Chelsea herself basically thru us out the door. I received two updates, but only because I wrote to them and ask for it. They did not give updates on their own like promised. When I got there to pick up my dogs again, I asked what happened. I was cut short by Lynn. She told me, if I want updates I have to use the Puppy Nanny in Fairbanks and pay $85.00 for it, because Chelsea.s is not doing it. Then I'd asked for my three bags back I had brought for all the food, treats and toys. Lynn told me, we are not a storage unit for you and don't keep your private items. WOW!!!! They should put her on a leash!! When I finally got my pups back, they smelled like pee pee. My older dog looked very depressed and my puppy had a limp that got very bad over the weekend. We had to bring her to our Vet. While she was in care of Chelsea's she had developed knots behind her knee joint due to having not enough or no exercise......After a week, my puppies are starting to acting normal again. Thanks God!!....This was a very bad experience for me. First time drop off, promises that weren't kept, lies, getting yelled at from Lynn, pee pee smelling dogs, limping and depressed babies. I had such big hopes for this place and all I got was disappointment.

I had my cat and dog boarded at Chelseas for almost 2 weeks. They came home happy, healthy, and clean. The reason i only give 4 stars is because I didn't get any updates on my girls and when I called to get an update the woman on the phone was very rude and told me the only update I would get is if something goes wrong they would call me and let me know. I boarded with them thinking that I would get consistent updates so this was very upsetting. Everything worked out fine my girls are happy to be home and nobody seemed traumatized I just wish their customer service was better.

On a long RV trip our best pal needed a bath. Called a few weeks in advance to make an appointment. Plan was just a much needed bath, but groomer offered to trim his nail, trim his coat a bit and make sure his ears were clean. She did a great job, couldn’t be happier. Price was great - cheapest groomer we’ve had since the trip started. If in the area, we will definitely visit her again.

I boarded my dogs for two weeks. When I picked them up I was not told that my dogs had wounds. My dogs smell terrible after picking them up so I had to give them baths immediately. Their dog bed was soiled and packed up in a bag and filthy. I’m assuming she let my dogs sleep on a dirty dog bed and blankets which might be why they smell so bad. I feel so bad I left them there and regret leaving them. Both of my dogs came home and drank so much water which had me concerned they were not being taken care of. Update: I reached out to the owner who ghosted me. I reported to animal control.

Moving soon so want to leave a good review for this place, they have always done an amazing job with both my dogs and they’re always happy when I pick them up. One of my dogs is a Flatcoat Retriever which is a hard breed to groom and she has never gotten better haircuts than she has here even if her fur was matted! Also your pups get bandanas to bring home!

Used Golden Heart grooming & boarding while traveling thru Alaska in our RV. Lynn did a fabulous job on our two standard poodles. If ever in Fairbanks area, give them a call. Wasn't exactly the cleanest facility, but very friendly and great work. My kids did seem stressed at all afterward. Thanks, Lynn!!

I got a bad feeling the first time I went in, gave them a shot because I had to leave suddenly, didn’t have time to book anywhere else. They do decent grooming, but I wouldn’t board your animals here longer than a day. The facility and kennels were very dirty and not well kept. Seems like they haven’t cracked a window or cleaned the place in years. The young girl grooming looked miserable, like she was being forced to work. The older woman wouldn’t make eye contact, something about them seemed off. My dog came back aggressive and reactive to shovels, he was stressed and seemed scared of everything, he’s never been this way. My cat came back filthy and shedding like crazy, got a uti a week later, he’s never had these problems. You’re better off spending a few more dollars, driving a few more miles, and taking your pets to a better place. I felt horrible driving away leaving them there, knowing I had no other option..

Recently used Golden Heart to board my dog and he also had an exit bath before getting picked up. I'm very happy with this facility! I was able to view the kennel area where he'd be kept. I liked how they have them separated by size and that they're able to go in and out through a doggy door! When he was picked up he was professionally groomed (love the bandana) and very tired when he was home, which is nice. He didn't seem stressed and he didn't come back sick or injured like other places in Fairbanks. I definitely recommend this place and will continue business with them!

Trash company in NP, and plan to move to nevada… Nevada won’t accept a trash company. This place is nothing but horrid people, and trash service.

I had my 2 dogs groomed about 3 times and each time they did a fine job with my doodle but purposefully groomed my Boarder Collie the way they wanted to (I know this because the other groomer told me this). My husband had taken/picked up the dogs until this last time, when I picked them up. Although I did not observe the staff mistreating my dogs, I observed the owner's young daughter, in my opinion, mistreating another client's dog. I asked the owner and groomer if this was a usual occurrence - having to ask twice because they ignored my question the first time. The owner's response was that the dog was not doing what the girl wanted her to. While discussing this, the owner's daughter continually glared at me and I responded by stating that her yanking that dog around while drying him and them putting him in the crate very roughly, was not okay and I didn't care that she was glaring at me; that would not change my opinion. I told the owner I would likely not return. Not once did she apologize for her daughter's behavior - how she treated the dog nor how she glared at me for several minutes in front of her mother, the owner. I have to wonder what happens when the daughter works and the owner and groomer aren't present? Additionally, the place was dirty and smelled awful. I will never return and I highly recommend if you take your animals there, watch how they treat your babies.

This place is great for grooming and pet sitting. Our dogs, an Alaskan Huskie and a Westie, always get groomed here, and they never put up a "fight" when we drop them off. The staff is nice, friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable. I am glad they are in North Pole.

We brought our pup buzz here for the first time today and they did amazing! I could tell he was well taken care of during his groom and they did beyond amazing on his groom. He looks very handsome thanks to your business!

I hired Delaney for drop ins beginning in December 2021, and I still use her services twice weekly for my senior dogs to break up their day waiting for me while I'm at work. Delaney is a household name and my girls are obsessed with her! They know what it means when I say she's coming to visit! I've since also used Delaney for an overnight stay and I was completely at ease knowing my girls were being cared for exactly how i expected. Leaving my pets when i travel is normally very stressful but I didn't worry about them whatsoever! I came home to happy dogs and a clean house— Not only is Delaney talented with the animals in her care but she's also an exceptional houseguest. Finding someone you can trust with caring for your four legged family members as well as someone you can trust with your home is invaluable. Highly recommend Wild Iris Pet Sitting for both overnight care and drop ins!

Delaney is absolutely AMAZING!! I was so worried to leave my ferrets for an extended period of time and she made me feel so comfortable. She texted me updates every day and was incredibly understanding about me being as worried as I was due to one of them having cancer. Delaney at Wild Iris Pet Sitting is amazing! She spoiled Henry, sent updates and photos, and gave care to Henry (Labrador) beyond my expectations. Highly recommend! If Delaney is unable to book exact appointment times to personally care for your pet (she is busy and popular), she has Mehgan who is equally awesome. I was impressed with both of these ladies. I never worried one minute while I was away😊

As soon as my three huskies met Delaney, I knew I could travel without worry. They adored her! Since getting my younger two dogs, my husband and I have not travelled together without them, as we did not want to board them. So I am very happy I found Delaney who stayed at our house while we were away. She is very professional, great with communication and very polite. I received so many photographs, videos and updates and that made me feel better about being on the other side of the country. Delaney had brain games for my dogs to play. It was nice to know they were kept entertained and not just waiting for their humans to come home. I highly recommend Wild Iris pet sitting!

Delaney with Wild Iris was so incredible. She gave us updates everyday with photos and videos of our pets. We could tell she really cared about each one of them. She even left a little goodie bag of treats for them after she left for us to give to them. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Delaney has been an amazing walker and pet sitter for our two dogs! She was always professional and responsive and our dogs love her. Our pups have two very different ages and personalities and she did great with both of them. We moved out of the area and wish we could’ve taken Delaney with us!!

I would highly recommend the services of Donna at Chena River Kennels, I was in the hospital for a week & have never been away from my 11 yr old ShihTzu any more than 2 hrs. at a time. When I picked him up he was just a happy little camper no signs of anxiety or neglect. She walked him every day which is something I’m not able to do anymore, so I wouldn’t mind boarding him with Donna even for just a couple of weekends a month. Thank you very much Donna @ Chena River Kennels for taking such wonderful care of my baby KODA.

Left my dogs here for 2 days. My older dog returned with limber tail syndrome for unknown reasons. Credit card signs posted on their door as if they readily accept cards but they need to write all your card info down to process it at a later time (not sketchy at all). I would not give my card info to someone in writing and they should not expect it. Clover and Square readers are readily available for businesses and they are way behind the times. I had to drive back to an ATM to get cash to pay the fees. Would have been nice to know about their credit card policies before driving an hour total to pay. Also there are only very specific times when you are allowed to pick up and drop off your animal. Between the strange limber tail syndrome, out of date payment process, and non consumer friendly availability time; this business has very favorable competition. I will never bring my animals here again.

Very unorganized, with inconvenient hours. Walking in, the place looks run down. My dog also came back from an overnight stay with a rash on his belly.

I would highly recommend, clean, friendly, flexible and my man was very happy, thank you so much!!! I'll be bringing him back for sure!!!
