Nurse and teacher want to visit your fur babies while we see the country!
I recently had the pleasure of having Karyn and Eric pet-sit my two cats, Finn and Murphy, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were exceptional communicators, keeping me updated with daily photos and messages about how my fur babies were doing. It was clear that Finn and Murphy were well taken care of and comfortable with them. One of the standout aspects of Karyn and Eric's service was their attention to detail and cleanliness. When I returned, my home was spotless. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in perfect order. I highly recommend Karyn and Eric to anyone in need of reliable and caring pet sitters. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for animals make them the perfect choice. Finn and Murphy were in excellent hands.

Friend for Fur Babies, non-smoker
Jenifer came to my rescue after having a sitter cancel on me, I can only say it was devine intervention. Honestly, Jenifer is everything this site advertises and you would be lucky to have her as someone to watch over your home and your fur babies. She checks all the boxes as far as being communicative , clean, caring, etc. My cats were feral and definitely would not be considered cuddly, but even after two weeks of being gone I noticed they were a bit more calm, I would not go as far as saying cuddly, but I would say friendlier. Wow! Thank you Jenifer for your time and care, it was truly appreciated. My husband and I (and Mocha and Latte!) ,now have a new friend out of the deal and would welcome her back anytime!

Librarian Looking For Opportunities to Help Others
Paula was wonderful all the way around! Both of our Labrador Retrievers, Rip & Huck, really liked her and when we came home it was apparent she had taken fantastic care of them. Paula was always responsive - prior to and during the pet/home sit and kept us up to date. When we asked for a couple photos during our get-away, she happily and quickly provided them. We came back to our home, orchard, and garden looking great just as we had left it. Paula is very endearing, trusting, kind, helpful, and responsible. We highly, highly recommend her - you'd be fortunate to have her stay in your home and watch your pets. We would love to have her again - she is always welcome in our home. Thank you, Paula!

Caring Couple Eager for Culture, Climate and Connection
Susan and Mike are the best! They have sat for us numerous times and never fail to impress us more with each visit. With our bougie poodle, who requires fresh water in a glass, homemade food and lots of snuggling, they never hesitate to accommodate his demanding needs, all while sending us hilarious updates on how he's doing. After they've gone, he always seems to be disappointed they've left. They are extremely reliable, flexible and organized. If given the opportunity, you should absolutely have them over for a sit.

Sweet Family of 3 (And Dog, Too!)
Eleanor and Erik are wonderful caretakers that I would gladly use again. They took wonderful care of our dogs and left our home better than they found it. Their daughter and dog are both very sweet too.

Erika was a fantastic sitter! She took wonderful care of our pets and our home during her stay and made the whole process very easy by being organized and flexible. She is a great communicator, super friendly, and a first-class animal lover. I don't think you could find a better person to watch your pets. Thank you, Erika! Many happy travels to you and your family.

Lyle and Linnie
I didn't actually get to meet them in person, due to scheduling, but I came back to a very clean house and a well-taken-after cat.

Semi-retired nurse living a passionate, purposeful, active lifestyle
Amy went beyond expectations to make the dogs feel comfortable and calm. One of the dogs was pretty nervous and she was very patient & insightful regarding his needs. He is also leash walking much better (not pulling or reacting to other dogs) which I attribute to her. The house was clean. Amy was flexible, kind and loves dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her back.

Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.
Bard and Kim are amazing house sitters and pet care givers. I would recommend them over and over. I wish I could add numbers to the scale. They would get a 10+. Bard and Kim were super easy to work with, efficient, self-sufficient, and considerate. They took immaculate care of my home; it was definitely cleaner after they left! I would recommend them without hesitation over and over.
Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. As far as caring for my house - top notch.
Lyndsey and Jordan were wonderful pet sitters and house guests. They kept us informed of how our pets were doing and went above and beyond to care for them. We felt entirely comfortable leaving our home and pets in their hands and arrived home to find everything tidy and the pets well cared for. We would absolutely have them sit again if the need arose.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Mikala & Jake were great house & pet sitters for us!! Our dog and two cats absolutely adored them, and we came back to a very clean home with happy animals :) They were very reliable and fast communicators. They even had to deal with our power going out while we were away, and they handled it well. It eased our minds to know our animals and house were in such great care while we were away and would have them sit for us anytime!
Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Judith would take care of anyone's home and pets with as much care as she did at ours, and we highly recommend. Hope she can come back!!
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

Our dogs love coming and staying at camp when we are out of town. The staff has always been extremely professional and friendly. We have always gotten updates throughout our dogs stay (photos too) and prior to boarding we were given free trial days as well as a tour of the facility. The facility is absolutely beautiful by the way. My wife loved that they had a climate controlled kennel (a/c & heat) as well as smooth floors. 10 out of 10 stars for Camp K-9! Added photos I received while our pup was on vacation at Camp K-9!
Edited to add (regarding the company's reply): No harassment, just one review with the facts. We were told he would be provided a bed. He was injured while there. And we were heartbroken by what happened. Neither one of us got a tour. We contacted them earlier this year about boarding our dog for 5 days. We spoke with two different people who told us not to bring his personal bed, because they know how to easily clean their own beds, and that they would provide one (an actual bed, not just the "cot" with the hard mesh). At no point did they tell us he would not have a bed. If this is what they're going to do, the concrete floors should be finished and not so rough that they can injure animals who stay for a longer period of time. When we picked him up, we found that his elbows were injured and one of them was actually bleeding, due to lying on concrete for 5 days. I sent the pictures to Camp K-9 and called. I spoke with the person who answered the phone, and she had me talk to the kennel manager, Nick, who told me they didn't give him a bed because they didn't know if he'd chew it up. He didn't seem at all concerned about what happened, just making excuses and acting like it was no big deal. Our dog is a big gentle baby, they could have watched him for an hour or two and known he wouldn't chew it up. When I spoke with the owner, Karen, she was nice and seemed sorry that it had happened, did give a refund, but still tried to excuse it. This is inexcusable. When I think about him lying on the concrete for 5 days... it just breaks my heart. We never would have taken him there if we had any idea something like this would happen. Also, they ignore any text messages that come through on the weekend. They also said they would send pictures throughout his time there, and only sent some on ONE of the five days. These photos are after his “exit bath” after we got him home. The people who bathed him didn’t even notice, which tells me they don’t really pay attention to the condition of the animals.
Both of my dogs have boarded here numerous times and they always take great care of my dogs. One of my dogs, Brick, is very high fear/anxiety and a high risk of biting. They train their staff very well on how to handle dogs like my own, and I’m so thankful for them. Recently, after a couple years of boarding my dogs here, I was able to do the behavioral modification training for my high fear/anxiety dog, Brick, with Alicia one of their trainers. My dog has gone through board and training before with other trainers at other facilities that claim to know how to help with this but were not successful with my dog. But Alicia and the staff at camp k9 truly know their stuff and has helped my dog so much. It’s going to be a long process for my dog and consistent training at home with me. One thing that is amazing to me is that since my dog completed that behavioral modification training with Camp K9 she will for life have access to the trainers if we ever need to work on more training that may come our way. I’ve never had a training facility offer that, and I think it just goes to show how much they care that you and your dog are successful. Alicia posts training updates on her TikTok of my dog Brick, with my approval, and it’s amazing to follow if you want to see for yourself 😭❤️❤️
Our dog loves Camp K-9! As soon as he arrives, our pup is eager to get inside, look over the desk to say hello, and greet everyone he sees. Camp staff are always very welcoming and loving to our pup. Our pup goes to the kennel area without looking back, looking forward to pup play time. We have been taking our boy to Camp K-9 for several years. The staff are always helpful, organized, and friendly. Our pup looks good and acts very relaxed (except for being excited) when he comes and goes. On a couple of occasions he needed extra attention and medication, which was no problem for the staff to attend to. They have called us a couple times with questions about whether he ate lunch and such, which we appreciate. Camp K-9 is a wonderful kennel. We appreciate the play time our pup gets—he loves other dogs and has an abundance of energy—the attention and caring of the staff, and the safety and cleanliness of the premises. Thanks for everything you do, Camp K-9!
Camp K-9 is amazing. They have helped facilitate and are training/certifying two therapy dogs for us at Pinehurst Elementary School. They have been easy to work with, professional, helpful and passionate about this endeavor. My dog (one of the therapy dogs) loves the entire staff and has made huge strides with the training given. He is 100 percent a different dog than where he started in February and it is because of the patience, compassion and professional training he has received at Camp K-9. They are definitely my recommendation for your boarding and training needs.
After our dog showed aggression a couple times with another dog in the house and with us, we were at a loss with what to do. We had tried a couple different trainers and almost gave up and started thinking we would have to re-home this almost 2 year old pup. We were heart broken on what to do. Our last chance was with Camp K9. Alicia did wonders with our dog! She truly saved her and gave her the confidence and training that completely changed her for the better. I highly recommend Camp K9 if you are looking for experienced trainers that truly care for your animal. Thank you Alicia and the great staff at Camp K9!
We love Camp K-9! We have done both private training with our dog, Jax, and boarding. We’ve seen so many improvements after doing training with Alicia. The staff there is great at what they do and truly care about the dogs - we wouldn’t feel comfortable taking our dog anywhere else!
I will always recommend camp k-9. The staff there is always so kind and knowledgeable. My dog has some serious anxiety. She often chews up anything and everything in sight. They always communicate with issues and I feel completely safe leaving my pup with them. You'd have to give them a shot for yourself to see how awesome the group really is.
Camp K9 provides excellent training, and I cannot recommend this facility enough! They're extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to the success of the dog and pet parent. We will use Camp K9 for all of our training and boarding needs.
The dogs are always well taken care of, they sent me pictures and updates when I asked. I also got a tour without an appointment and the facility looks great, they have ac/heating in the back, the floors are sealed, and every kennel has a cot bed in the back that is smooth and waterproof. I had asked about giving my dog a bed but they had expressed concerns since he's a chewer of him possibly ingesting part of the bed and getting a blockage. I hadn't thought of that and I'm so happy they were looking out for my boy!
Our dogs love Tails Inn! Our girl doesn't do well with other dogs, so we love that the dogs play only with their family dogs and with the staff, instead of lots of stranger dogs playing together. Ours just can't handle that and I'm so glad Tails Inn exists! The owner is so kind and happily will administer meds and special treats and meet all of our dogs' needs. I couldn't recommend Tails Inn enough!
Lucy spent the weekend with Andee . She wears a Fi collar so it tracks her activity. She was a busy girl running and being active, which is important being a Shepherd/ catahoula mix. Thank you Andee for taking good care of Lucy. We appreciate it. I would recommend Tails Inn for your boarding needs.
Took care of my pup very well. Always were happy to update me on how he was doing. Definitely would recommend!
Always a great place to take our dog max he has been going here since he was a puppy 🐶 super nice staff and accommodating. Max might like being there more than at home he is always excited to go. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ …
I highly recommend boarding your pet here! We have a rescue dog who has some ~social challenges~. We made sure they were fully aware of his issues before our trip and they were entirely comfortable with handling it. He did great there! Absolutely no issues. Thankfully, they have genuine animal experience so truly know how to handle the animals properly. It is nice to have a boarding facility where I know my pet is happy and safe!
We have had issues with boarding our anxious dogs in the past that led to emergency surgery and they no longer do well with other dogs. Finding a boarding facility that can facilitate our needs with anxious dogs that can’t intermingle has been hard to find, but Tails Inn has always done a great job with our dogs and accommodating us! I highly recommend them!
Would board my dogs there again. Very accommodating, took both dogs on short notice. Only surprise for us was cash or check only.
Tails Inn is such a blessing to us! We have four dogs and AnnDee takes such wonderful care of them. The dogs are safe, well cared for, and we don’t think twice when we need a getaway. Worry-free for us and the dogs. I highly recommend this kennel and our community is lucky to have Tails Inn!
Tails Inn is great! My dog had a very good time while I was out of town. I felt very safe to leave my lab Belle in their care. They seemed very friendly and they care about your pet as if it was their own. My dog was happy when I went to pick her up and didn't seem like she was anxious to leave which means she enjoyed her time there. They made sure she had her daily supplements for her joints. I will be using them again in November when I take a short trip. It makes me feel so good to know that my dog is getting great care when I am not there to do so. She is getting pretty old but I know they will take good care of her. I recommend that if you need boarding for your dog this is the best!
We started taking our pups to Tails Inn in September and were so pleased by the care and attention our dogs received while we were away! Diana and AnnDee were so kind to us, but most importantly they were great to our pups and are well versed in animal behavior and care. We have found our pups' home away from home and will be continuing to take them there! Highly recommend!!
Lewis O. Potamus is a 1 year old American Bully (American Baby…more like it). He is adored by our family, goes to work with my husband and I and is very…very spoiled. When I first asked Debbie about booking Lewis she politely declined and told me the safety of the dogs in their care was their number 1 priority and they don’t take pit breeds. I wasn’t offended at all, and appreciated a facility that would carefully vet breeds and dogs. I explained to her Lewis’ disposition, showed her some videos of Lewis playing with my sister’s doodle and my in laws boxers (all our dogs are with us always and we take them to eachothers homes- all are very well socialized and trained). Debbie agreed to take Lewis on a trial bases and we have used Cozy Kennels 3-4 times now. They take such good care of the puppies in their care!!! Lewis is always so happy when we pull in!! He very social and stayed at another kennel once when Cozy was booked and he didn’t get interaction with other dogs and was not happy. At Cozy Kennels, he gets play time with the other dogs and we know he is in good hands!!! Thank you for putting the safety of the dogs in your care above all else. 5 stars ⭐️
I never leave reviews but this place is deserving. This kennel is spotless, the owners are incredibly caring and answer my texts very timely. It is popular and well liked enough that you'll need to book in advance as soon as you know when you'll need them. I never worry about my dogs wellbeing when I drop them off. I know they'll have a blast and be in good hands and that I can get updates through text and sometimes photos as needed to reassure me.
My Gracie came home from Cozy Kennels exhausted from playing with her friends. They love what they do❤️🐶❤️. They encourage you to call and check on your pet, they even sent us a video of Gracie in the yard with the other dogs. We were not sure how she would do because she hasn’t been around other dogs, so they eased her in and she had a marvelous time😊100% recommend this Kennel ( pet resort )❤️
We always take our dogs here for "camp" when we're out of town. They are well cared for and come home exhausted. What more can you ask for?! Thanks Cozy Kennels!!
It has been a few years since we've had our akbash, Kodi, stay with Dave and Debbie (we have a family member that does not travel anymore, and she stays with our dogs when we leave) however we always recommend Cozy Kennels to friends. Kodi routinely came home very happy, and not showing signs of stress. The first time he stayed, Dave sent us a few videos of Kodi playing with other dogs. It was so sweet being able to SEE him, and know for sure he was doing well. The most recent time, Dave sent Kodi home with a squeaky llama he had fallen in love with 😆 I always appreciated that Dave allows you to see the inside of the kennel area, too. Makes me nervous when kennels refuse to let you see the actual place your dog will be staying.
The kids love going to "camp", very awesome family and kennel. Rates are very affordable especially for more than 1 dog.
We LOVE cozy kennels! You could not find a safer, more professional, cost effective and overall FUN experience for your dogs! We board our 2 adult shepherd mixes here and not only has it improved their social skills but they are always beyond excited to go! We always get updates directly from the owners including videos of our girls running around on their (big!) property with all the other doggies! We are so thankful for them and will continue to use them as long as we live in WA!
Every single time my dogs come home from their visit, they are happy and exhausted from playing! One of my dogs is a nervous girl, and I used to board her somewhere else. She'd come home depressed and with diarrhea for days. Not once, ever, has she had a problem with Cozy Kennels! She comes home just as happy and tired as our young dog! We are customers for life!
I am very impressed with Cozy Kennels. My dog has never been kenneled and I was worried about being separated from her. She was just fine when I picked her up. Dave actually sent me a video of her playing with other dogs. I will definitely be using them again. They rock!!
I am very un-trusting with anyone with my babies. Whenever we go out of town and have to kennel our dogs, I stress and worry the whole time. Usually, when we get home I feel bad because our dogs smell horrible and have crazy looks in their eyes like they just spent the whole time looking at bars. I can honestly say that leaving our pups with Debbie and Dave at Cozy Kennels was such a great experience! First off, I felt comfortable knowing that they were on a personally owned property! Someone that can take their personal home and turn it into a boarding facility for dogs HAS to be a dog lover! When we dropped off our dogs, Dave walked us through the property. It was very clean and fenced off properly. Our dogs were immediately excited and running around wanting to play and sniff everything. While we were away, Debbie sent me updates on how they were doing. I even received a video of them playing with the other dogs! They looked like they were having a blast! This definitely helped to ease my discomfort with leaving them with strangers. The pricing was very reasonable and affordable. When our dogs were picked up they were very happy. We could tell that they were taken care of while we were gone. I would definitely leave them with Debbie and Dave again!
We were so very pleased to find Jere who took great care of our two fur-boys while we went out of state for a family wedding. The boys were well taken care of as we had her come in 3x a day. She spends quality time with them, feeds and potties them, and even kept our potted plants alive. Highly recommend Jere as she's very detailed, and professional in her care.
great place to bring your pets and great prices
We recently went on vacation and for the first time, our friends/neighbors were not able to care for our dogs. Our older guy, Buddy has never been in a kennel and has very high anxiety. I was so stressed about who was going to take care of them, that I had a difficult time getting excited about our trip. I found a business card for Ponderosa Patty that I got a year ago from our vet, and called her. It was short notice but she was very accommodating and eager to assist. We dropped them off the night before and she and her husband took time to talk with us so we could get to know them, their routine and to be comfortable. We had given Buddy anxiety medication and instructed Patty to give it to him when the shaking started. She constantly sent me pictures of Buddy happy and our other dog Sammy, going for walks, tails wagging. Riding in cars on her husband's lap, laying on them sleeping in their home, etc. Buddy NEVER had to have anxiety meds! They are very calm and loving with the animals and the animals knew it. I am so happy to have found Patty and will happily call her next time we need her. Thank you Patty for giving our dogs so much love and comfort and easing OUR anxieties!
We have taken several trips and have left the care of our dogs, parakeets, and home to Spokane's Best Pet Sitter. Patty is a most professional, trustworthy, and dependable individual who has shown a sincere interest and care for our pets. We received photos almost daily along with any questions or concerns related to our time away. We go away with complete peace of mind and confidence that everything will be taken care of while we are gone. We highly recommend her services.
“Ponderosa Patty is absolutely the best caretaker for our large number of animals we have on this small farm. She has given all of them great care and we feel very comfortable leaving them in her hands when we are out of town. We have 5 horses, 3 cats, 3 chickens, 2 dogs and a handicapped large tortoise as well as a few bee hives. Patty walks the dogs as well as feeding and watering all the animals. I feel very comfortable with her knowledge and skill as an animal caretaker and my dogs love her! She sends us pictures of all of them too which we love! Thank you Patty!!”
A million stars ⭐️! Patty is so trustworthy and loving to my pups! I feel lucky 🍀 that my pups have her when I’m gone. She spoils them and sends me updates everyday❤️ thank you Patty for your care and attention to my dogs and home. I hope you know how amazing and appreciated you are 💕⭐️🙌. …
The name is correct, Patty is the BEST pet sitter in Spokane!! My entire family recently went on vacation together so this was the first time I've ever had to use a pet sitter for my cats and looking for someone on the internet can be scary and daunting. I am SO glad I found Patty! She took such great care of our cats and made sure that even our shy one got some love too. I am SO thankful to have found her, it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing our fur babies were well taken care of! Will forever recommend her to anyone that needs a pet sitter!
“We have used Ponderosa Patty for several years. She is very efficient and my cats LOVE her. When we come home they act like they never noticed we left. She loves on each and every one of them…We had 4 cats and a bunny…and even my cranky old man cat came out for her. She is so flexible with scheduling it makes everything easier. Patty is wonderful! ”
Ponderosa Patty has been so great watching our cat Binx the two times we have used her!! She sends pictures every visit so you can see that your pet is being well taken care of!! I would definitely recommend her and will be using her for our future trips!!
Patty took excellent care of my pup while we were away. She gave regular updates and took extra care to make sure our nervous doggo felt comfortable around her. We will be booking her again for future trips.
Patty was wonderful with my 2 kitties. She accommodated the special needs of the one that is 16. I loved that she sent me pictures and texts each day to keep me informed. She is very easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. I think her price is very fair for the services she provides which included giving medication to my old girl. Would give her more stars if I could. I know I can travel now with confidence when Patty is taking care of my kitties.
Patty took excellent care of our 2 cats while we were away on a 3 week vacation. She sent pics of the cats from her visits and gave them treats, pets and brushings. She even alerted us that we accidentally left the back door unlocked. It gave us peace of mind to know she was looking out for our cats and our home while we were away so long. She was very easy to get a hold of and very communicative the entire time. Her price was reasonable and her love for animals shows. We will definitely use her services in the future. We highly recommend Patty, Spokane's Best Pet Sitter.
Found amazing reviews online and set up a meet and greet for our Beasty boy. Everything was so calm and organized when we walked in which blew my mind! My boy was nervous as to be expected but never seemed upset or tense. We than did a two night three day stay. Our last boarding experience had kept us from going anywhere we couldn’t bring him along. Jessica completely eased our minds about the whole process, was extremely thorough covering all the bases for needs and care. After drop off I was nervous but we got daily updates with pictures and stories and honestly my heart felt put at ease. When we picked him up he was calm!!! Previously he would be sick, shaking, just overall sick from the stress NOT THIS TIME!! He was happy to see us but he was calm and happy. I had to hug her!!! Now and forever our boys vacation spot!! I wish I could give more stars!!!
My young dog has separation anxiety. Jessie has provided daycare and boarding for her. Jessie is patient, welcoming, attentive and willing to share her advice. She has great control over all of the dogs and they respect her and her house. It is a clean, calm, and inviting place for people and dogs alike. I do not have to worry about my dog being anxious in her care, which is great peace of mind. Thanks so much!
Jessica's home was a great boarding destination for my dog! She was extremely responsive with any questions I posed and gave daily updates. It was an engaging environment for my dog, Barley, and Barley seems to have enjoyed her time (though I'm not a dog psychic).
Jess is amazing with my dogs. She is very personable and professional. I love her home atmosphere and how much love and attention she gives her clients( two legged and four).
I dreaded leaving Murphy, my 11-month-old pup, for boarding while I went on a family trip. After researching, we found Jessica and I’m so pleased we did. Murphy was there for 8 days and came home healthy and exhausted from playing with all his new friends. Jessica sent me pictures and updates. She’s very in tune with each of the animals in her care. Her home and yard are clean, but still very pet friendly. Jessica is efficient and thorough with her business and necessary paperwork but loving and attentive toward the pets in her charge.
We were so grateful to find Treat Yo Pets when we moved to the Post Falls area in 2022. Boarding our senior cats was out of the question. Gabrielle is amazing and and fur babies love her. She is very professional and responsive which we think anyone can appreciate. We get updates during her stay including pictures! It brings us much comfort and relief knowing our babies and our house are in good hands when we travel. We can't thank you enough!
I always enjoy supporting a local business. Treat Yo Pets is an amazing company that consists not only the health of your pets, but also their happiness. My Boerboel absolutely gobbles up these treats. If your lucky enough to meet the owner Gabrielle, you will see that she has a heart for all pets and she bakes all that love into each treat. Definitely a return costumer. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Gabrielle is phenomenal. I have several people offer to sit my dogs for me but Gabrielle is the only one I actually feel confident in. It matters who you leave your pets with because some people love pets and can be nice, but not everyone has the patience and pride to take care of your pets exactly how you want them to be. This is not the case with Gabrielle. She treats your pets like family and takes full pride in offering the safest and most trusting pet sitting service. I’m a helicopter dog mom so I’m scared to take my dogs anywhere or leave them with anyone but I don’t have to fear a thing when leaving them with her. It’s also refreshing to buy her treats because I know that there is nothing but natural ingredients. I suggest the training treats if you’re currently training a puppy!
Treat Yo Pets is amazing, simplified but great service and the owner is always on top of what is needed. Easy to talk to and truly cares. I'll certainly always be calling Treat Yo Pets! Thank you :)
Great experience every time. Wonderful at home care for our pets.
Gabby is such a wonderful person!! She made sure that local pick up was somewhere easy for the both of us. Her dog treats were a huge hit at our house and I will definitely be buying again!
THE BEST TREATS! Our puppies love them!
It is always difficult to leave my little guy when we leave on trips. But knowing that I have left him in good hands makes it less stressful. Molly and John, and all the people at Legacy Canine are very caring. I wouldn't trust him anywhere else.
Legacy always takes excellent care of our pups! They were there for 12 days and didn't skip a beat. They have an air conditioned room where they stay so the heat was not an issue. While they are always ready to come home, they are treated like family while they are there.
Would not take my boys anywhere else!!! They start whining when we get close to Legacy. Molly, John and the entire staff are so wonderful!! I never worry on vacation because I know the Pups are at doggy Disneyland!! Thank you!!
As always, we are so happy and grateful for the attentive care given to our pups when they board with Legacy. Molly and the staff keep a watchful eye and give them daily interactive play time. It's so hard to leave our dogs when we go away, but knowing that Molly, John, and the staff are there makes it doable. A big thanks for all you do!🥰
We call Legacy Boarding, Camp Legacy and our babies love it there. When we make the turn onto Signal Point road they start whining and carrying on in excitement to get there. Bodhi and Beckett went through their training program and have done so well, I can say they are great dogs! They also have been regular guests while we have been out of town. Legacy Boarding and Canine is the best! Always warm and welcoming and the facility is very clean. It’s the only facility we will use for boarding, top notch!!! I also recommend their training program!
We have used Legacy for boarding but we recently acquired a one year old working German Shepherd that had limited training and follow through. Although we have raised several German Shepherds over the years, we needed help in getting this girl on the right track. John has been working with us and the results we have seen in a matter of weeks has been amazing. Her progress has been significant and she has earned a great deal of trust in our house (with two other adult Shepherds). Our girl has progressed and we as handlers have also learned new techniques. Very happy all the way around.
Unbelievably phenomenal experience at Legacy Canine with John & Molly. They are Top Notch Professionals. Truly an investment in the pups and our futures. The outcome has been life changing. Their training grounds and facility are immaculate. The pups are happier. We are happier. Please check them out!
We our so happy with the care our dog has received at Legacy Canine over the years! It’s been a great experience boarding our dog with them! We never have to worry about him and he loves going there! John and Molly are the best! And I love that it’s located in the country! Just a perfect place to board your dog and they also did a great job training him the lessons were well worth the cost!
I received good feedback about my pups during and after their stay. Facility is very clean and well attended. Dogs will defiantly only stay here moving forward. Thank you Legacy :)
Amazing service, worth every penny and then some. We enrolled our new puppy in their one month board-and-train option when we went on vacation. After one month of intensive training in Legacy's care, we picked up our dog and he is now basically a service animal. Off leash, he comes when he's called, without hesitation, regardless of environment (busy dog parks included), he does sit/stays, place, heel, door manners, you name it. On leash, while I'm walking or running, he stays right next to me in a heel position, without pulling. As an example, several months after his training, we drove him and our two other dogs to the green belt for a walk and realized when we got there that we had only packed two leashes for three dogs. So, we thought, well he wasn't trained for nothing, let's see how he does. With his e-collar, we went on a 5 mile walk and he never broke a heel position, and we never had to correct him. Our dog loves to train, he thinks it is so much fun. We've been to other training facilities that feel like a money grab and other kennels that are just gross and unsanitary. John and Molly are retired military canine trainers that have spent a career training dogs for combat and law enforcement. They know what they're doing and their facilities are clean and immaculate. The young staff members that they employ and train are just as good and it is nice to see them educate future dog trainers to grow their profession. They also take the time to educate the dog owners so you can train other animals you may have at home. Any future dogs I have, I will be bringing to Legacy for training, even if I move out of state, they're that good. (The person that left a one star review is an idiot. You're going to leave a bad review because they're too busy to take on a new client at the moment, but you've never used their services, really? That's like giving a popular restaurant you've never been to a bad review because you can't reserve a table).
I wish I could leave 11 stars. Paradise Pet is one of the best things we ever did for our pup. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and really cares about your dog. We started taking Benji to daycare around 5 months old and it quickly became his favorite place ever. We also boarded him here multiple times. He always came home tired and happy. Staff informed us on any positive or negative behaviors that day. The facility is clean, spacious, with enrichment classes available. Grooming is well done and affordable as well. The frequent photos to Facebook make us so happy, especially when we’re out of town. Our dog is 100+ lbs and has high excitability. I felt extremely confident leaving him with the staff, they have clearly worked with many types of dogs and know what each breed, age, temperament needs. In contrast, we recently moved to a new city and tried a couple doggie daycares here and can’t stop thinking about how lucky we were to have Paradise Pet. We genuinely didn’t know how bad some places out there can be (dog comes home smelling like urine, dehydrated, hadn’t gone potty recently - to name a few) and now that we’ve seen both sides, I can confidently say Paradise Pet is the best of the best. We miss you all!
Our dog, Marius, has been coming here since he was a puppy and they’ve always been phenomenal with him! When we added our second dog, Bennett, to the family, we knew we could trust Paradise Pet Resort to love and care for him too. Whenever we go out of town, our dogs stay here and they always have a blast! I also love that we get to see pictures of the doggos each day, they always look so happy during their stay. We can’t imagine leaving our boys anywhere else but here when we travel.
Cassie always comes back happy and tired after staying at Paradise Pet Resort. She loves going and getting the opportunity to play and socialize with other dogs. They always seem to recognize her when she arrives and we’ve never had any problems with her care I’m very particular about who I leave Cassie with and Paradise Pet Resort came highly recommended from many friends.
Everyone is so kind. My dog is 10 years old and never really socialized. The staff has worked with him and have been tremendous!
Today was Nala Rose’s trial for full time day-care. I was very nervous at the beginning but was reassured by the amazing front desk crew. Upon picking her up, (with a pass!), I got to see the phenomenal layout they have the dogs in. Well cleaned and maintained, and most of all, great strategies to avoid issues I’ve seen at many other daycares! Nala Rose cant wait to come back tomorrow to see her new friends! So happy to join the pack. Here’s a TIRED AND HAPPY Nala Rose!
First time leaving our dogs with Paradise Pet Resort for a long weekend. They were recommended to me and everything went great. The dogs were happy and tired when they got home. We will definitely be back!
The people are SO NICE! They're obviously real pet lovers. It was my first time actually leaving my pup there for a 4 hour trial. He was excited when I came and got him, but now the day after, he's even better. He's more sociable, and less terrified of stuff. Like everything.
We have always had great experiences boarding Sadie at Paradise. She comes home tired and still smelling great. Seems like they run a very clean operation. Having an outdoor area is really nice. Sadie Mae gives Paradise a paws up!
Thank you for taking such great care of Maeby! If we ever come back through we will not hesitate to use your services.
Our little Honeybear was so loved and cared for while we were out of town. We were able to see pictures each day of her mingling with "the pack" and she had a routine of meals and playtime. It was so refreshing to know she was being cared for while we were gone. We could even check in during business hours to get a summary of how she was doing any day. We will absolutely be using Paradise Pet Resort again for our next vacation in October and thank all the staff for showing so much care to our furry family member. It was obvious she was very loved while we were gone. Thank you!!! 8/24/23- So I'm adding to our posting, because now Honeybear is seasoned in being without Mom and Dad for a week and we saw her come out of her shell in the photos the staff posted. We were also happy to see that the staff kept the puppers inside on the really bad air quality days caused by all the fires happening in the surrounding areas. Thank you for taking such good care of her while we are out of town. It's such a piece of mind to know that she's happy and getting attention while staying at PPR. Thank you for all you do!!! We recommend Paradise Pet Resort to all our friends and family!!
The only reason I am giving a one star review is to you Madison who is one hundred percent right in how hardy was handled. I no longer work for them as I can't any longer. You are right though hardy was so bad it should have never happened. I am giving a one star review. Not to the groomers but to the people who work the back. I left there and I will never bring my dog there again. My standards are much higher and my husband said once I left my dog will never go back there. I appreciate his decision as it's best. It's way too hot in the summer and she always came home with almost all her food and all her treats which shows she wasn't given what I sent with her. Very disappointed in the service and that is why I had to leave. Sorry to my clients who want me and sorry to the front staff who were told they can't talk about me or tell them where I went as I was personally told this not to mention whenever it us over 85 I would never bring my dog as it is far too hot in back. No ac just swamp coolers from what I wad told by back staff. Still with covers it's way too hot when it's above 90
This place groomed my dog so good and I'm so impressed. There were a couple of glitches getting my Fanny in for grooming but the owner made me a solid, kept her word and the groomer topped it off with I think, Fanny's best groom EVER! Thanks NW Pet Resort! You guys proved to be top notch!
Best place for all your fur buddies needs and a great place to drop them off if you need to go anywhere but can't bring them with. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There groomers are the best for a fur buddy spa day freshen up.
We started bringing our dog Yukon after his companion passed away. Yukon became sad and not himself for weeks. A coworker referred us to Northwest Pet Redort and oh my gosh it is the best thing we have ever done for our dog. Yukon is a completely different dog and gets so excited when he knows he's going. All we have to do is ask him if he wants to go to school. Thank you, Scott and Ashley for creating such an amazing place for doggies to go play. We truly appreciate you and thank you for your support and donation towards Safe Harbors Human Trafficking here in North Idaho!!
Unfortunately I can not recommend Northwest Pet Resort and don't plan on using them in the future. I was visiting my dad in CDA and needed a place to board my 1 yr old corgi and chose here based on the reviews. The drop off was very smooth and the facilities did smell a bit like dog urine but that's to be expected. The staff were friendly and kind. The day before I came to pick her up I got a call that my pup had some runny stools and and upset stomach. They asked if I wanted to add some kind of gut soothing product to her food I said yes and they obliged. I appreciated the call but the problem came when I arrive to pick her up. It took a while for them to bring her out and when they did she was wet. The handler told me she had some stool on her back fur and he cleaned her up. She has long fur so I wasn't that shocked or anything. Then in the car I noticed she still had stool all over her backside AND several pieces of dried stool in her back fur. I was on my way to Portland but had to stop at a gas station to pick up some baby wipes to try and clean her off the best I could. I had to cut one of the matted pieces of feces off of her. I know things happen and happen last minute as someone is coming to pick up their dog, that I can forgive. What really bothered me was the dried poop all over her backside. We won't be returning. Two stars because the staff were friendly and I appreciated their update when they called me. However I just can't overlook the dried poop allover my baby girl.
I was hesitant to take my 6 month old puppy to doggie daycare because, she is my little baby. With a long work day, I had too. I filled the vaccinations paperwork at 9:00pm thinking I would have to wait 2-3 days to get approved. But no! The next morning I was confirmed I could drop her off! It was relief how fast they got her in. During the day I was worrying about her, so I text via Facebook how she was doing, within ten minutes someone gave me a long detailed message explaining how much fun she is having and who she is playing with. It was very appreciated knowing my dog was having fun. When I picked her up she seemed happy and didn't want to leave. My only complaint is I wish I could get pictures or videos of my dog playing lol. Otherwise, great place and affordable.
I can't say enough good things about the grooming experience for my Mister Winston! We had been taking him to Petco since he joined our family 4 years ago. He had been seeing the same groomer up until a year ago. Petco couldn't keep a groomer for more than a few weeks to keep up with his grooming schedule. I've taken him to a couple other places and they just didn't get him cleaned up enough. The gentleman that groomed him at Northwest Pet Resort did an amazing job. Winston looks so handsome!
And so ends 9 years of love and friendship and 8.5 of those years were shared with NW Pet resort. We have taken our Casey here since she was 6 months old and have been a very frequent fixture for the entire time. They have loved her like their own and even now as we deal with her cancer and end of life, the staff even continue to check on us while we comfort her at home. We could not have asked for a better environment or caregivers for our furry family member. This place and these people are amazing! To all the staff, thank you for the 8.5 years of amazing and loving care you have shown me and our family. As a business owner who understands the value of great customer service in this day and age, I give them the highest recommendation. Scott and Ashley are amazing and work tirelessly to provide your pets with a safe and loving environment that allows your pets to thrive.
Never did I expect to find a daycare/boarding facility that cares as much about our dog as we do. You can also purchase high quality pet supplies with them and support many local companies while doing so. If you need grooming, they can help with that too! Truly a one stop shop. It’s exceptionally clean and they genuinely love our boy! He’s always excited to go play with his friends at daycare and we’re always excited to see the staff which have become like family to us. Our dog has stayed as long as 10 days before and they even sent us pictures of him while we were gone to ease our worries. NWPR also makes sure to group dogs by temperament/size/activity level which makes them stand out compared to other facilities. The owners Ashley and Scott have put so much thought and hard work into this facility and are always taking steps to ensure all dogs get the best level of care possible. They are also very active in the community and have done things such as feed/board law enforcement dogs at no cost. This is the best and only place we trust to take care of our pets since they are treated like family.
My doggie Barkley absolutely loves coming here during the day while I’m at work. He gets so excited before we even pull up to the doors. He has a great time and I can tell he has had fun by how content and tired he is by the time we get home. The staff is also very friendly. 😊 …
