Our petsitter of 15 years recently retired and we were faced with the daunting task of finding a new one. As you can imagine, finding someone new that you trust to care for your "furry and feathered friends" is pretty tough. We read the reviews, had Lauralee over for a Meet and Greet and decided she would be a great fit. She was prompt, a great communicator, well organized in our introductory meeting, during her visits and during her follow-ups. She provided a detailed recap of how the days went and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable being out of town. (She even cleared up some downed limbs in our yard from the recent storm and got introduced to the eat, chase/race and barf routine of our cats - sorry about that!) Highly recommend!

Lauralee was great. We had a meet and greet at our house where she asked all the right questions. The dogs loved her immediately. While we were gone she texted us updates and even sent pictures of our fur babies. It was so nice knowing they were being cared for we while we were away and getting playtime in the yard with her every day. We opted for 2 visits a day and she showed up each time as expected. We will definitely be calling her each time we leave the house for more than a day. Thanks Lauralee for giving us peace of mind.

Lauralee is absolutely amazing. She is very dependable and arrives when she says she will. My cats are my babies, and leaving them under Lauralee’s care makes it stress free.

Lauralee is absolutely wonderful. She stayed over night for 2 nights and 3 days. This is the first time we have ever left our big boy with a sitter. When I travel, it’s important to me that my dogs get the same level of exercise, outdoor time and care as they do when we are home. Lauralee took our two dogs for multiple daily hour long walks on their favorite trail - she is clearly very good with them. We came home to happy, healthy pups (and cat). She shared pictures as well!

This is the second time using this service and noticed after picking my dog up, she had two bit marks. One above the eye and the second below the jaw, which appears to be a bit mark as the skin was broken and scabbed over before picking her up. At the time, we didn't notice it when picking her up due to her black color fur. Ms. Abby is a sweet lady who loves dogs and isn't always shared information by the owners about the dogs taken in. As this may not be her fault as dogs will be dogs, she never mentioned anything about a possible incident, so the dogs weren't supervised or failed to shared information. We were hoping things would have worked out, but feel that the safety of my dog is important and will seek other boarding locations.

Our dog Jack loves it here. Abby is so pleasant to work with. We highly recommend Abby‘s doghouse.

We took our 2 year old Berner to Abby’s for an overnight stay for the first time this past weekend and our experience was wonderful! Abby is so kind and you can tell she loves animals, especially dogs, so much. She sent us pictures of our Rosie and let us know how she was doing. Rosie seemed happy and well cared for when I came to pick her up. We were so nervous to leave her but she did so well. We will be using Abby’s Dog House again!

This place is a total scam! We wanted to adopt a pup, and I told her ( Abby) that I would drive over 2 1/2 hours to meet with her, meet pup, and pay in cash. This transaction was to take place in less than 24 hours. My daughter was supposed to go with me to meet said pup, get info, pay ( in cash) and be done. We were so excited. She blocked me after I told her we wouldn’t be placing a deposit, as we were driving to meet her at her “ business”, the next day. With all the cash in hand. She blocked me, told me I was playing games. Ummmmmm… what?!

I can't say enough good things about Abby's Dog House! I took my 6 month Huskadoodle, Macie, there for a three-day stay while I went out of of town, and she had a blast! Abby clearly loves and cares about each and every dog that she welcomes in. Abby has unbeatable prices, was flexible, and responsive to questions via text and call. She sent me occasional updates to let me know how Macie was doing and even sent a couple pictures! Macie had so much fun that she was bummed for the two days after she came home. She definitely missed all her new friends and the “home away from home” that she found with Abby. I've already recommended Abby to a couple fellow dog owners and will continue to spread the word. We love, Abby! She's been patient with our pup as he's a rescue and quite skittish. He's come a long way with enjoying daycare/boarding because of her. She's fairly priced and really loves the dogs. She uses great hygienic practices and allows the dogs out alone or with groups depending on their personalities. She takes care of them like her own. Can't say enough good about Abby's Dog House!

There aren't enough words to explain how AMAZING, WONDERFUL & TRULY CARING Abby's dog house is!!! She is truly a woman of her word! We were going out of town for work we didn't want to leave our pit rot mix with just anyone when isn't socialized a lot with pups her size, so we were nervous. When Tina met everyone she was timid & nervous around them, then here comes Abby like the damn hero she is & took our babe with love & was very very patient with her to gain Tina's trust & the rest is history!! Our dog Tina was beyond excited & had tons of fun playing with other furr friends & gave Abby LOTS & LOTS OF KISSES before we left. Abby is one amazing woman & has our full support & a forever customer & a new friend. Hands down the best doggy daycare out there! If you're looking for local & owned by a caring dog lover herself PLEASE DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ABBY'S!!! She truly has a heart of gold!!

Abby is amazing. I was worried about dropping our dog off with a stranger and her being neglected the whole time we were gone. This was the complete opposite. Abby really loves these dogs and takes care of all of them like they're her own. I won't look anywhere else for a dog sitter.

Abby’s is truly our favorite boarding / day care in Utah. She cares for each animal so deeply and it shows in everything she does. Our doggo looks forward to his time at Abby’s and cannot stop wagging his tail when we gets there and nearly jumps for joy when he sees Abby herself.

This was a great place for our pup. We were able to get in on fairly short notice for Christmas boarding. Rebecca was very helpful explaining their regulations and facilities. Our poor dog was very anxious, as she is very young, and this was her first boarding experience. But the owners worked with her and calmed her and played with her. I don’t think she could have had a better boarding experience. I was very impressed with their dog handling skills, and their patience with the animals. The kennels are in a spacious, repurposed horse barn. There is a big group play area, as well as separate dog runs (for trickier dogs like mine), and the surrounding area is rural and open. I would absolutely board here again.

I was super nervous about leaving my pup, since he’s a little shy and not very socialized. Rebecca was great with him, gave me daily updates and he loved his stay!

Took our two dogs here for a whole week during spring break. They seemed to have really enjoyed themselves! We got lots of updates and pictures which we appreciated. Will use RTR again and will be recommending to local friends.

We left our dog with Rebecca for two weeks while we were traveling. Our pup is so precious to us! We were so worried about how she would adjust. Rebecca was helpful and straightforward with the process. She answered all our questions and met us ahead of our trip to meet our dog and ensure a good fit. While we were gone, she sent pictures and updates of how she was doing. Our dog was extremely well cared for. She told us how she was interacting with others, her temperament, if she was eating, etc. which to me helped me understand that she was spending time with her. Instead of a simple "she's fine," Rebecca always went into honest detail about how our dog was adjusting. Of course, when a dog goes to a new place, it will be stressful, but Rebecca helped our dog and us have the best time possible. I absolutely love the space they have to allow dogs to run and play. I also loved knowing she could sleep in her crate inside the house at night. Overall, we will use RTR again for future trips. We highly recommend!

This was a great place to take our dog last minute while we were on vacation! They updated us daily on how she was doing and sent us photos of her out playing with the other dogs. I would highly recommend them if you need a place for your pet to stay.

My friend Pat and I were headed to Yellowstone and she didn't want to take her dog Scamp. She had left him with family before and he was really cranky about it and pouted for days. She had never boarded him before though and she was really nervous that he would feel abandoned or worse have an attitude. His name is Scamp for a reason. He ended up having such a great time, I'm not sure he really wanted to go home with us. The pictures of him playing with their dog really helped and we ended up having a much better trip knowing how much fun he was having on his play date. I would give 10 stars if I could. We boarded our 8 month old Portuguese Water Dog with Rail Trail for spring break and they did awesome with him. He is a handful and super high energy. They worked with him on a few things and were consistent with him and he came home understanding a few more commands. They even gave me some helpful tips and resources for training. They have plenty of room for the dogs to roam and play and I can tell my dog enjoyed being there. We will definitely be using them in the future. I highly recommend Rail Trail!

We were needing a place for our Pup & ended up finding Rail Tail Ranch pretty last minute. Nonetheless, they were extremely responsive and helped us get everything booked & taken care of for our pup (Duke). Prices were really unbeatable… other rover options were 2-8x the price. Which is outrageous. They sent updates, allowed Duke time to play with other pups, & made sure to keep him separate from any other dogs that were there that didn’t get along with him or were aggressive. I needed dog sitting for five days, while I did some emergency travel. My puppy was very young, and I was very nervous about leaving her for so long. I was sent photos of her every day, along with a note about how she was doing. This was a great comfort to me! When I picked her up, my puppy was clean, healthy, and happy. I will definitely use this dog sitter in the future!

I love Away Home & Pet Care! I've used them multiple times and every time they have been exceptional. Each day they give me updates on how my kitty is doing with pictures and a message. Me and my family find them to be heart-warming, comforting and sometimes funny. My kitty is very scared of most other people, and she has warmed up to Robert, even letting him give her belly rubs while purring. It's nice to know that she has somebody that is so kind to give her some loving attention and provide for her needs while I'm away.

Robert and Aspenn provide incredible service and care towards my dog. My dog can be reactive and high energy. Robert and Aspenn are always patient, calm and gentle with Rocco. Rocco fell in love with both of them from the start and is always eager to see them. Robert’s high-touch service and communication are superior. He messages back in a timely manner and is very accommodating. Most importantly, I always know Rocco is in the best care and getting the needed walks/pee breaks when I’m at work. I trust them very much!

I brought my dogs to Utah this past February. Away Home Pet Care walked them for me. Not only did they take good care of my dogs, they were very easy to work with. I love the app they use. It was easy to schedule and pay and I loved the report I got after the walks were complete. I highly recommend Robert and his team!

I would give Away Home & Pet Care of Utah 10 stars if I could. Robert is phenomenal! He took care of my two cats like they were his own when I had to travel on business. My kitties were treated with care, love and respect with visits twice a day, everyday to be fed and to get their head rubs in. We also had Away Home come by to check on our home during the winter. Robert checked on the house weekly and sent pictures of the interior giving us peace of mind that all was well during the six months we were gone. So impressed with the services this company provides. A BIG thumbs up!

I have been a client of Away Home & Pet Care for nearly two years. They are life savers and I don't know how I could own a dog without their help. I particularly appreciate their flexibility and willingness to adapt to my ever-changing schedule ... as well as the goofy pictures I get from my dog's daily walks.

Wow! We've never used a pet sitter before and were a little nervous trusting our cat to a stranger but also knew we didn't want to board her since she hates it. We spent our time researching options in the Ogden area and were drawn to the reviews and professional looking website for Away Home & Pet Care and decided to book with them. Great choice! The meet and greet went smoothly and we immediately felt at ease with Robert and knew our cat would be in good hands. During our trip we got daily updates (including pictures) and it really let us relax and enjoy our trip knowing everything was well at home. Our cat is not the most social and we really appreciated Robert letting her go at her own pace. The app worked great even overseas and scheduling was a breeze. Will absolutely use them again for future trips!

I am so sorry you had a bad experience, but I am also sorry that you have referred it to Canine country Club as you have not been a client of ours and I think you were referring to another kennel. We had a new puppy who went with her brother who had enjoyed being there before. She was scared & stayed in their home all day in the chair. Vicky went in to try to comfort the puppy. She does care about all the dogs being left in her care & we will continue to use Canine Country Club when we are out of town. The facilities of each dog having their own in & outdoor space makes it unique in the area.

We love Canine Country club! Vickie is the sweetest, most patient person and it shows through her work. It’s the #1 place we take our dogs.

This is the best pet sitting place ever. Vickie is one of a kind. She treats our babies like they are her own and I couldn't ask for better care for our three fur babies. Vickie is the most pure-in-heart animal lover you shall surely ever meet. She cares for each dog as though it were her own, and even opens her home up to your beloved pet. She gives them individual attention and love. The best option available to you when you have to leave your pet. My dog didn't ever want to leave.

Vickie is amazing! This is our first time boarding our dogs and we were able to email her and check in on the dogs and she took the time to respond and let us know how their stay has gone do far! I feel like my dogs are in great hands and the facility is exactly what our dogs needed for their own lil vacation while we are out of town. We will definitely board our pets here again!

Canine Country Club is a wonderful place to board your dogs. We tried other kennels, but our dogs like staying here the best. They get excited when we drop them off and are happy when we pick them up. Vickie knows all of our dogs by name and loves taking care of them.

We have been using Canine Country Club for eight years. We have to coax our dogs to come home with us after a Canine Country Club vacation with Vickie King. Sometimes I think they love her more than they love us. They receive great care and much love from everyone who cares for them at CCC. The very best! We now live in Idaho and drive 3-1/2 hours to take them there because we know they will get the very best care!

Love the owner, and the place is always inviting! My dog, who is a hyper, overactive pitbull, climbed the fence, but Vickie just put him a kennel with a top so he couldn't escape again. I love her golden bert, he is such an amazing well balanced dog. It's a pleasurable experience when we go there. I recommend her to everyone and will always do so.

We were driving across county end of July 2021 and was wanting to stop at the Dino park near by and needed a pet sitter for a few hours. We ended up arriving later than we thought and Marian was very kind and flexible and still took on our Nova. Upon arriving our dog Nova walked right in and felt comfortable right away. We took off to Dino park and Marian updated us twice during the 3.5 hours we were gone and even sent a video of Nova playing with the other dogs. She did a fantastic job taking care of Nova and communicating and working with us. I wish she lived in my hometown.

Marian walked our whippet (Travis) and mastiff-cross (Bebe) almost every day for the year we lived in Ogden, and we were extremely pleased with the service. Whereas Travis was great on the leash, Bebe tends to lunge at dogs – and other assorted moving objects – so walking her is not for the weak or timid. We never had any doubts about Marian’s ability, and everyone always returned home safe and sound, and a tired dog is a good dog! I would unconditionally recommend Marian for anyone seeking reliable dog walking services in the Ogden area.

Avoid Flock 'n Paws at all costs. Shauna Gorley is abusive. I watched her yell repeatedly at her own dogs to be quiet and yank my dog around on leash, even though he was clearly scared and submissive. She also yelled at me to use a pinch collar on my dog when he barked, instead of the techniques from our dog trainer (who is an actual CDPT). Yanking dogs around, yelling at them, and using pain doesn't fix unwanted behaviors. Full stop. If you care about your dog and the relationship you have with them, do not come here. The risk isn't worth it.

I found out about Shauna and this place when I went to the international sheep herding competition here in Utah. She is amazing and has won numerous competitions. My dogs love training here and they always look tired and so happy when I pick them up from boarding. Shauna and her employees are so passionate about what they do and they are really good at it. I love spending time here with my dogs, and my border collie absolutely loves herding the sheep. The people here have so much good expertise, I’ve really appreciated their advice.

Wonderful groomers. My dog has had bad experiences with groomers all over Logan but this place was just what I was looking for. She came out as soft as when she was a puppy and she smelled delightful.

Love it! The owner is all about the dog(s) and their well being. When I took my dog for obedience she was direct with me and it paid off. My dog is perfect but you have to work for it. I also had her help me with the obedience training during the day when my dog was there for day care. I would highly recommend flock n paws she help me turn my unruly rescue into a family member!

We had our first obedience class with our puppy. We learned so much that we've already had a better puppy all week. Price is $20 per class. Shauna the owner/trainer is excellent and everyone gets individual attention. Wear a jacket...their indoor arena is not heated. Good facility.

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. When I first called the lady over the phone was very rude. When I got there she was being rude to a paying customer and judging how I use a harness on my dog instead of a collar. I didn’t even pay but I’m so glad. And her own personal dog was growling and nipping at my dog. So that tells me that she is not a good trainer at all. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I should have known by the first phone call that she would be the most judgmental non professional person to take my dog to. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE.

Definitely disappointed. I scheduled a day for my dogs to go.. on the way there I had got in a car accident and messaged Allyson , didn't hear anything back. Got a message from the owner. She was super rude and did not sympathize at all. All she cared about was the fact she had to pay for Allyson to be there... And even when I had to schedule the appointment she was snappy and rude. Definitely wouldn't even trust my dogs in the care of the owner. Lost my business completely.

First I want to state that Alyson was amazing. Extremely friendly and our dogs seemed to like her right from the start (rubbing on her, etc). Shauna on the other hand was less than pleasant. When I messaged her I stated they were NOT border collies (which she obviously mostly works with) She did not reply with ANY restrictions. When we showed up we were not turned away by Alyson due to their breed. We left our dogs here from 10a-4:30p. During that time we received !NO! texts or calls to let us know how AWFUL our dogs were (here I should mention when we first walked in, there was another dog locked away that growled viciously both at us and our dogs. Our dogs completely ignored this dog). Apparently our dogs growled and barked at them the entire time and prevented them from going in with them at all. (the first dogs viciousness was also blamed on our dogs, funny how the dog began this before we even walked through the gate) Again, nobody called or texted us. We live 5 minutes away. All day their collars and leashes were left on them. I'd be surprised if our dogs growled at Alyson at all because of how much they liked her and her friendliness but it may have been because of how nervous they were. Shauna however I am not surprised at all. She seemed to be extremely judgemental right from the start. Our dogs have been boarded at multiple other locations with no issues and nothing but compliments on how amazing they were. I think that alone speaks for how this place is run.

Shauna is direct and honest. She cares about the dogs. I wouldn't trust my pup with anyone else and highly recommend if you want to train your dog to herd and to learn obedience.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The customer service here is awful along with that this so called dog trainer cannot even train her own dog to act well around other animals. You will not get your moneys worth if you bring your animal here and I would say you should not trust her with your innocent animal. If they can treat a paying HUMAN customer as bad as they did who’s to say they won’t do something bad to your animal. AGAIN AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

My experience with Whitney’s Waggin Pet Care couldn’t have gone better. Whitney was good to keep me posted on Goldie(my dog) and her schedule throughout the day. She would journal Goldie’s routine and send the information to me daily. I didn’t worry about Goldie at all because I knew she was in good hands. I would highly recommend Whitney to take care of your pet.

I'm so nervous leaving my two dogs with anyone. Whitney took such good care of them for the week I was out of town. She sent pictures and updates daily. I'm definitely going to use her again!!
