They were able to come over the day before we left and we had dinner together and we were able to get to know them even more and show them everything they needed to know about Clara and our home. They sent us lovely pictures of Clara enjoying her time while we were away. When we got back the house was super clean and they left us a nice plant to start our garden with this summer. We would definitely have them in our home again.

Samantha was very communicative from the start and stayed that way throughout our trip. She sent daily updates and photos which we loved seeing and it was obvious that our animals were happy and well cared for. I had what I thought would be a 2 day repair project planned, and they were so flexible and patient when it turned into a full week! Yikes! Came home to a spotless house and happy animals and would welcome this nice family back anytime.

I am so fortunate to have found Alanna to take care of my cat while I went on a nine week trip to Mexico in my van. My cat was a little more complicated to care for because he was diagnosed with IBD just before I left. He thrived under Alanna’s care. He almost gained a full pound while I was gone, which is amazing for a cat with this diagnosis. It’s speak volumes about Alanna as a care provider. She was 100% attentive to all of his needs. She sent me pictures and communicated with me almost daily. I really can’t say enough good about her. She was neat and clean and took such great care of my condo, which is a second home, that she is welcome to come back anytime to stay if she wants to vacation in Seattle. I think my cat misses her. I’m POSITIVE that I miss her. I hope to see her again in the near future!

Loving Mother + Daughter
Elizabeth and Norea arrived the night before we left on our trip and I knew immediately that they were a perfect fit for sitting at our rural, alternative home. We have 2 old indoor cats, Bert and Benny, an older dog, Abby, our wild child dog, Rosita, 3 aging hens and an aquarium. Norea fell in love with the cats and looked after cleaning the litter box daily, making sure that Benny had his meds each morning and insured that both cats received a surplus of love and attention. Abby, our older dog is a sweetheart and is easy to love. Rosita is also a sweet girl, but has enough energy for 5 dogs. She can be a challenge, but Elizabeth handled her with patience and consistency. I think Elizabeth's morning walks around the property with the dogs were a highlight. The chickens and fish had no complaints about their care. We cleaned our house before Elizabeth and Norea arrived, and it looked better when we returned from our trip, tidy and spotless. Elizabeth and Norea, a mom and daughter team, are caring, gentle, and trustworthy. I'm privileged to have met them and hope that they can return to watch our home.

Responsible, reliable, friendly, helpful, resourceful. Some (understandable) family matters may have precluded a chance for her to replace linens (no time for them to dry) and perform a final vacuum in her spaces, but everything else was spotless. Probably tmi; in truth, I completely recommend Claudia and would be happy to see her back again.

This was our second time having Ciara at our home with Ellie. We had such a great experience we wanted to bring her back. My favorite things about Ciara as a sitter is her quality care of Ellie, daily communication, and how self sufficient she is. She walked our dog almost daily and sent photos updating us on Ellie's activities each day. Ellie had a little bit of a health scare and Ciara stayed right on top of everything + maintained awesome communication throughout. We live on an island and if you have, you know island living isn't always the easiest. Ciara was comfortable with our home's quirks and didn't need hand holding during her stay. Would absolutely have her back in the future.

Ina was a terrific person and house sitter! We met twice before the house sit and she got to meet Iris who warmed up to her right away. With most strangers, she runs and hides under the bed!!! I really liked Ina's warm and open personality. She was very thoughtful and careful with my things and furniture. She sent me great photos of Iris throughout the 2 weeks I was gone. Somehow she was able to get Iris to sleep in the bed with her. This is truly a thing that I cannot get Iris to do with me!!! I would highly recommend Ina for anybody else who would consider her.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kelly and Pat arrived the evening before I left on my trip so we were able to have a nice visit and get to know each other a bit. They asked many questions about the dogs and the house so that they would feel comfortable with the pet sit. Piper and Zuria were very comfortable with them. They sent pictures from dog walks, kept me informed and promptly notified me when there was one simple issue that they handled very well. I’m not able to speak to the condition of the house on my return because a second sitter came right after Kelly and Pat and before I came home. They spent time with the new sitter so that she would know how to take care of the dogs and negotiated the transfer time. Kelly and Pat are a lovely couple and very interesting to talk with. I feel lucky that they were able to take care of Piper and Zuria and would love to have them back again.

They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change.
