Caring, Animal Loving Adventurers
We couldn't be happier with Linda and Matt! They were perfect sitters from the start, with great communication and planning to get everything organized. They were great with our cats and provided lovely updates on their progress; and when we returned home everything was clean and tidy. They even went the extra mile in dealing with some damage in the garden from some delinquent foxes, which we really appreciated. Would recommend them highly and would be delighted to have them to stay again.

Looking for adventures with new furry, feathered and fishy friends!!!
This is our second time using Carol & Guy. We appreciate their friendship and deep concern for our two dogs and our home. They send pics daily of the dogs and communicate well. We feel lucky if Carol & Guy are available when we have to travel. They are excellent.

Dan and Melissa were incredible sitters. Hyper responsible, very caring for our fur babies and great communicators. Came home to a spotless house and happy kitties. Would recommend without hesitation and we're delighted they're coming back this weekend to sit for us again.

Mature, reliable, friendly, responsible person who adores animals
We loved having Brad as our sitter! He was super communicative and responsive. He asked great questions and sent us pics and updates about our dog Apollo. He arrived and departed when he said he would and it seems like Apollo had a grand old time. We would love to have him back!

Frank & Cindy, traveling pet siters loving your family as if it is ours.
Cindy and Frank left my home in excellent shape--very clean. You wouldn't even know that they were there. Suki seemed well-fed, and from the 3 or 4 images sent, she got out into the neighborhood, which is what I wanted! I didn't have much interaction with them before I left, other than 15-20 minutes for the handover, but they seem extremely organized and self-sufficient and nice. Very reliable, indeed.

Traveling Therapist to Care for Your Home & Furry (or scaly) Friends/Family
Anna was great! This is my second time having her sit. Very responsive, asked and set expectations, sent pics daily, and even washed the towels and sheets! My cats were fairly nonchalant when I returned which tells me they had a great time with Anna! :)

Chere and Rory were just AWESOME! Not only were they very friendly and interesting, they took great care of our cats and of our house...they even went over and beyond because they fed our "outside animals" (birds, deer, squirrels etc.)! They gave regular updates (and sent pictures) of our 2 kitty cats which was greatly appreciated. Chere was able to play and snuggle with Perry (aka Potato)...and even got Terry (aka Babygirl) to sit on her laps for a little while!! Chere was really organized and had a chart of every daily/weekly chore so that she didn't forget one!! And even though they had to leave early, they made sure the cats were fed and taken care of...and made sure everything was clean... I think the house was cleaner than when we left!!! :-) We are really pleased we chose Chere and Rory to take care of our fur babies, they are the BEST!!!!
Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!
Lani is an excellent Pet Sitter and housesitter. Communication was easy, our pet Cleo appreciated her loving care. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat. I would happily ask Lani to housesit again.
I have nothing but great things to say about Jill! She’s a wonderful sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog and cat in her capable hands while I was out of the country. She was thorough in making sure she knew exactly what each pet needed, had excellent communication, and provided me with daily updates. I came home to a house that was even tidier and more organized than when I left and two very loved pets. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a kind, caring, consistent pet sitter. Thank you so much Jill!!!
Anant was a great sitter and a friendly guy. Kept me up to date re his arrival and with Marie & Toulouse during the sit. Found my house exactly as I had left it. Would highly recommend Anant to other pet parents.
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Justin was an excellent sitter and a very pleasant person to deal with. The care he gave to my dog Rosie was second to none, and he also too very good care of my apartment. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody looking for a reliable and responsible pet sitter.
Duncan was an excellent pet sitter and looked after our old girl Cookie really well.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

We have been boarding with A Place for pets for many years. Best feeling to know your pet is being well taking care of. I highly recomend.
Absolutely feel safe boarding my dog there. Very friendly staff very clean facility.. they were very thorough on the intake questions to make sure all of his needs were met. And to top it off he received a bath before coming home. Just a awesome environment for any fur baby
Crystal & Gwen were amazing! Our dog had a few 'day care' visits, before a great stay this past week. Thank you for taking such good care of our Bella :)
Edit to update that crystal truly loves animals, you have to give them a call to really get the full experience of how a boarding place should take care if your fur babies. They continue to amaze me on how much they care!!! My pets love this place and the owner Crystal and Gwen. They always take sick good care of them.
For several years, now, we've always taken our dogs here for boarding. They're amazing and my boy is always so excited to go there! I can always tell that he's loved, and that he loves them. That peace of mind is priceless! We've added a parrot to our family and boarded him this time as well. There was a price misunderstanding, and the owner called me personally to clear everything up. She was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend them for any pet family member, without hesitation!
We've been taking our dog to this kennel for 4 years. Good people that really care for your pet. Our dog dances and howls with joy when she arrives. Highly recommend and great price for the exceptional care provided. Wouldn't ever consider another place for our dog.
They do a great job taking care of my dog Lola. She is happy to stay for a few days when I have to go out of town and is always in good spirits when I pick her up. They really show a lot of love and attention to all the animals.
Take my dog for day care. Gives him a chance to play with other dogs for the entire day. If I go to a dog park there may not be any other dogs. The place is spotless inside and large grass area to play. Not open every day. I take my dog every thursday.
Place for Pets provides peace of mind for me, knowing my dog is safe and well cared for. Personalized attention that goes above and beyond makes Place for Pets our go to for daycare and boarding. My dog loves the staff and comes home tired and happy!
Had a dog that has stayed here multiple times. He always comes back upset, scared and won't eat his food. My little sister had also witnessed them being rude to my dog and pulling him across the floor and making mean comments when she came to pick him up, not realizing that she could see them. He has come home with Kennel Cough and bumps on his face. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because he is a young and energetic dog, which can sometimes be a lot to handle. After our last visit we are questions our return.
Teresa Birge is the quintessential lover of dogs! From the moment she walked into our home for the meet and great, we knew she had the Midas touch. We have left our Springer Spaniel and American Foxhound with Teresa several times. Each time has been a very special time because she passed out love to them like cookies. They love their Auntie Teresa!
Teresa is FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend her. You will not find any one more caring, trustworthy, and reliable for your fur babies. My husband and I were out-of-town for a week. We did not feel comfortable boarding our dogs and decided to find an in-home pet sitter. Teresa came highly recommended. She came to our house twice before we left on our trip to sit and play with the dogs. That gave us great comfort knowing they were going to be in EXCELLENT hands. We are very thankful for Teresa and will only use her in the future. Daytona Canines Pet Sitting Service is a wonderful asset to the Daytona community. Call her today!! Susan V , Daytona Beach, Florida
Teresa was absolutely incredible with our 2 miniature dachshunds! She sent many photos and videos throughout the day to keep us posted with how our dogs were doing. She was so kind on the phone and in person, and really made it an easy decision when it came time to pick a pet sitter for the day and overnight! Highly recommend Daytona Canines Pet Sitting and Teresa to anyone in the area looking for a great, loving, caring pet sitter!
You will not find a better petsitter than Teresa! She is just wonderful and is so loving and caring. She treated our dogs like they were hers, with hugs and kisses and gentle kindness. She sent us pictures and updates four times a day, and kept a daily log of their activities including outdoor play, potty regularity, eating habits, and indoor fun. We could tell that our two dogs were happy, healthy, and well-cared for, and that allowed us to have a worry-free vacation. I highly recommend her if you need a petsitter, she is simply the best.
Theresa and her husband are wonderful! My dogs have been staying for the day or an overnight stay for over a year now. She also has come to my home to walk them when I have been away. My dogs love going to stay at their home. I feel assured knowing they are in good hands. She really cares. She sends pics to update you while you are away, and takes great care of my fur babies when I am gone. One of my two dogs are skiddish around new people, she offered to meet her before the first stay just so she would be more comfortable the first time I left. It definitely helped, now both of my dogs love it when they go to their home. I can not say enough great things about them, thank you so much for all that you do!
Teresa is an absolutely lovely lady and my Bear came home a happy pup. 100% would recommend her to anyone that needs their dog to be sat. She sends picture updates if the dogs will calm down enough and genuinely cares about other people's pets. Such a great woman.
I have been using Teresa’s services for quite some time now. Whether it is scheduled or calling her last minute (which I’m notorious for) she is always there for my girls. They LOVE her. Teresa and/or her husband don’t just come over, let them out and leave. They spend time with them and play with them, always sends pictures, making sure their food and water are topped off. I know they are in good hands and would recommend her to anyone. She loves all her fur babies. Sandy
What a wonderful, dog loving person Teresa is! We were in town for the races and realized our little dachshund was not happy being left alone. Teresa came and stayed with him, taking him on walks and sent us photos of him while we were away. We could not be happier! She is awesome and we will definitely be using her again. She is the best sitter we have ever had!! Thanks again Teresa!!!❤❤
My dogs love Teresa! She plays with them, she loves on them and she even sleeps with them! I never have to worry about leaving them when Teresa is caring for them. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring service.
Theresa is great with animals, she sent daily pictures and kept me well informed! Our 4 cats loved her... Will definitely use her services again in the future. She is very reasonable, cost wise, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent fur-baby sitter!
Madie has been pet sitting my 3 dogs and 4 kitties for over 2 years. They love her and her kids. I always know I never have to worry that they are getting lots of love and care while I am away. Thank you for all you do for my fur family!!
We had Madi stay with our dogs over Thanksgiving week. She was easy to contact, and had a meet and great with our dogs. She is reliable, friendly and prompt! When we returned home from our vacation, our dogs were relaxed and happy. We would use her again in the future! She’s definitely a pro at it!
I've been taking my dog to Maddie for over a year and a half and she gets very excited the closer we get to the house She recognizes where we're going and she howls with excitement. Maddie and her family have been very kind and generous to me and extremely flexible with ours and days I highly recommend her services.
Madi William and Sophie took great care of my dog named Prince. They were extremely nice and he had so much fun with them. I would definitely give Pawsome pet sitter 10 stars if I could. They were amazing rand responsible and dependable. I would highly recommend them!!! Your pet will love them.!!! Loretta Dosedel
Madelyn has been watching my dog for over 6 years now! She is always my go-to sitter and is absolutely wonderful—reliable, kind, and attentive to all of my dog’s needs. She always keeps me updated with regular photos and messages, which makes me feel at ease while I’m away. My dog always comes home happy and relaxed, and I can tell he always has a great time! He knows anytime we pack up his stuff it means he’s going to Madelyn’s house and gets really excited. She truly cares for animals and wants to make sure your dog and you are happy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy sitter!
A zero rating is not low enough for the care provided for my dog Louie. I have a 13 year old schnauzer who was in great health and very active, until he met Maddie @ Pawsome pet sitting. She boarded my dog for 5 nights, when we picked him up 2 days ago, she attempted to give us back his bed with HARDENED POOP on it, saying "Mr. Louie did you have an accident?" How can "accidents" happen if Louie was walked? Also why wasn't it cleaned properly? Which showed he wasn't being watched because we picked him up at 9 am and he ALSO hadn't eaten. When we arrived home he drank 3 bowls of water, he was dehydrated, had severe liquid diarrhea, was vomiting and lethargic. We took him to the Veterinary Hospital twice in the past two days, today he had to be admitted. We had to sign a CPR or DNR for our fur baby today. If that's not enough, another incident occurred when she allowed Louie to run from her yard through a gate that the neighbor left open, as well she allowed her neighbor to give him treats even though we informed her of his specific dietary allowances. Based on my experience the services provided were below standard. I wouldn't recommend this boarder/ sitter at all..
I have known Madi, owner of Pawsome Pet Sitting and Boarding in Daytona Beach, FL since September 2022 when I was in a crunch because Hurricane Ian destroyed our home and we had to get out fast. She was very flexible and able to take in my dogs immediately and care for them the entire time it took to get our house back together; which was 3 months. She is friendly, reliable and caring and loved on our dogs like they were her own. I did not have a moment’s worry in a time when I had A LOT on my mind. She is not your average pet sitter, she does whatever you ask of her with a big smile and I could tell that my dogs would be safe and cared for. She has a big back yard and they were able to get outside and run around and she provided a large room so all my dogs could stay together and they did not have to stay in their kennels all day. She kept in constant touch with me, sending me pictures and updates. Her rates are very reasonable for the services she provides. I would HIGHLY recommend Madi to anyone in the area looking for a reliable and trustworthy lady to care for your animals. She is a delight.
Madi has taken such good care of our dog while we are out of town! Always makes sure he is well taken care of and also helps with some training! She has helped get our dog more acquainted with other dogs and helps to get him more socialized. She is super friendly, affordable and her family is the best! She can work with any size dog, which is good because our dog is a large breed and sometimes hard to handle! But she does and extremely great job with him! Highly recommend!!
This was my first time using a private in home pet sitter and I was so happy with how well my pup was taken care of. She sent pictures of him to ensure me he was settling in well and catered to his specific needs well too. I will definitely be using her for future boarding!
Absolutely fantastic! We had issues and need an immediate pet sitter. She is responsive, available, and caring. The price is great. Took dog and cat and they were well taken care of as if they were her own. I got occasional updates which was fantastic and was beyond flexible and understanding with our situation we had going on. We have since used for our family vacation and the same happened again. Plan on using any time we ever need and would 1000% recommend for any pet sitting needs!!
I first got my rescue. Allegedly she had bit the previous vet trying to give her heartworm medication so they just kinda let her be. I took her to my pet wellness and she was very comfortable there as much as a dog could be, the doctors and attendent’s handled her with tons of love, and they didn’t have to muzzle her or anything. They’ve been good about filling refills on prescriptions and I do believe their prices are fair as far as any surgical things or what not. Last time my dog was there she swiped one of their little stuffed animals and they were cool they let her have it. It reduced her anxiety all she was there. She still has it today. She could shred it in five seconds, but it’s the one she loves to nib nib on.
A wonderful facility. Dr. Wells and Tracie were amazing with my rescue Pittie that can be difficult. They were so good with him and had the most stress free experience we have had yet! Highly recommend.
Another great visit to the Daytona office! Shannon was wonderful! She made my very reactive dog Frankie feel loved and well taken care off! Thank you❣️ Shout out to all the staff.. even in the Ormond location… Tracy, Melissa, Aiesha and Dr Wells
I love Dr. Marie and Shannon! They are always so good at explaining all I need to know and letting me ask questions. I know my dogs are getting the best care because both of them love my dogs as if they were there own. I highly recommend to everyone!!!!!
Peanut has an ear infection from allergies. They explained to me what caused it and how to use the medication. They were very gentle with her while cleaning her ears.
My pup had an urgent medical issue on Friday afternoon and our regular vet couldn't fit him in until Monday. Not only did My Pets Wellness make a speedy appointment for him Friday afternoon, they were phenomenal! Dr Wells and Melissa were patient and caring and took their time examing him thoroughly, and explaining options and costs. They don't try to upsell you on unnecessary procedures. That convinced me...I'm making My Pets Wellness my primary vet from now on. Bring your pets here. You won't regret it.
I have had them as my vet since I got tiered of petsmart. Not tending to my dogs needs. His ear infection was never selves and it was always. Come back in two week over and over. My pets wellness finally did something better for him and got it healed once and for all. Now he still gets infections because of his floppy ears but it’s not as bad. I now bring both of my dogs there for any issues or vaccinations they require. .
Avoid at any cost ! My young dog died there after only 3 days I took my healthy 5 1/2 year old Shih Tzu to this place on September and within 3 days received the message that he was dead !! I usually never write a review but I want to share my experience here and update will be published as this is still ongoing investigation ! I took my two dogs to my pet welness in Daytona beach on September 26 , 2023 It wasn’t the first time I took them there for boarding since I am a medical doctor and travel a lot I received a message on 09/30 from my pet welness while I was in Germany that my Shih Tzu , perfectly healthy dog has trouble walking, They sent me 2 videos and he had trouble maintaining his balance ! There was no doctor available to talk to and my request to talk to one of the vets was ignored ! The vet docs did not come to check on my dog and veterinary doc recommend to take the dog to ED ! He was taken to Animal Emergency Hospital Volusia and I called them and all they cared was my credit card info before touching my dog I asked what needs to be done and they could not exactly specify the cost and tests but I was told he is overall ok That was at late evening! They took my dog back to my pet welness Daytona and next day at 7 am only few hours later , I called to check on my dog and I was told they came in the morning and found him dead ! His body was placed in refrigerator and I took him few days later to university of Florida Gainesville for Diagnostic Necropsy and after few weeks I got following message The surface of the brain was diffusely reddened and cause of death was inflammation of brain! As a doctor myself it’s a mystery to me how a healthy young dog can all the sudden acquire such a fulminant infection course and expire within few days due inflammation of brain ! I never received a call from My pet welness after results was Back there was absolutely not a single contact whatsoever I lost my beloved dog because I trust him in their hands During my dog stays there , my pet welness always run multiple unnecessary tests and charged me hundreds of dollars more for this tests ! Also I noticed that each time I took them Back home they had lost their voice for few days and were extremely anxious I will post updates as this case is not closed but it was important to me to share this after waiting long time for results to autopsy come back because I don’t want anyone to go through such horrific experience ! Not only I lost an amazing friend , I had to pay thousands of dollars for autopsy etc Below I added a picture before he was taken there and only few days later when I took his body back Update : my pet welness failed to respond to BBB and this will no go under their database Ani Al control and other authorities will now be notified
My Pets Wellness is my goto place for boarding my boy! They have always treated him with love and kindness. He was going full time for a year while I worked and took care of a sick relative. If he needed a bath or an allergy shot they could fit him right in the schedule. Their staff is aware and knows he is scared of bigger dogs, they will go out of their way to accommodate his needs! Though he likes to be active outside, they will look out for his need to go inside for a break when it's hot that day! My thanks for all you do to make a it pleasant and safe environment for my little animal! ❤️
I took both of my girls in for a wellness checkup. Two black labs who were very hyper and excited to be there. They had been there several times before for doggy daycare and boarding. This visit was for the vet to examine and update vaccines. You could tell they love dogs and very patient with them wanting to play. I would highly recommend them for your dogs medical care, boarding or doggy daycare.
We recently moved to the New Smyrna Beach area and feel so blessed to have found Bark n Purr Kennels for our 10 year old Rottie. The staff is wonderful, giving great attention and care to their boarders. The grounds and facility are immaculately kept. We recommend them wholeheartedly !
Our pups Aurora and Tatum had the best time!!! They stayed for about a week and this is the first time we picked them up from boarding and they weren’t acting weird!! They had a blast and Bark N Purr Kennels even bathed them before we picked them up!! Most amazing experience and we will be back!!!
Just boarded my pug at Bark N Purr kennels for the last week and he didn't want to come back home with me! Matt the new owner took me on a tour of the facilities and made sure my dog had everything he needed and more. The have 2 huge yards for the dogs and I especially loves the runs with the outside area. I follow the instagram account and they posted pictures of the dogs each day which I thought was a lovely touch. It was great to see my dog happy and having fun whilst I was on vacation. It was a bargain price for the area without reducing the care and attention they receive. I think my dog is looking forward to my next trip so he can spend another week at Bark N Purr! Thank you Matt and Bailey!
I had my border collie boarded for 5 days.. I would like to give this place another chance but honestly I’m unsure I would feel comfortable doing that. I wanted to believe this place was nice, it’s affordable and is on a nice property.. that’s about it.. the company lacks communication and reliability. I called multiple times before tropical storm Debbie came by and no one answered the phone, so I was completely upset for a couple of days not knowing if my dog would be okay..I called and called before and after and no one picked up the phone, the only time I got someone to answer was after I called 5 times and was 10 minutes away..I had finally got an answer, I asked for the total of boarding and she told me $133 on the phone. Got to the place and no one was at the desk, it said to call if no one was there, called three times, waited about 10-15 minutes before anyone came to the desk. This guy came to the desk, asked how long we were waiting we told him 10-15 minutes and then he proceeded to say “oh that’s not that bad”. He then told us a different total which was more than what I was told. The guy didn’t argue with me and fixed it which honestly I appreciated. Other than that.. I don’t know what happened, we requested 5-6 days of boarding and 3 frozen kongs(at check in) but it appears she only got one, I didn’t request a bath or trim but she ended up smelling like she got a bath and also got a trim. ( I dont mind but it wasn’t expected, I don’t let other people groom my dog, except for the groomer I have her set up with. She was due for a groom after we got back..) When we picked her up she has been acting absolutely crazy, and flinches when we go to pet her, nipping at us.. she isn’t the same.. I don’t know what happened but when we got her back she was has been different since. It’s unfortunate, but I’d have to see major improvements for me to come back.
Thank you to all the staff for taking great care of our greyhound Fancy Pants. Special thanks to Rachel who went the extra mile to sit with our nervous doggy. This a wonderful place that you can trust to take care of your canine family member. Thanks again everyone!
Booked here last minute and they accommodated. We chose this place because of the great rating and reviews. Great service and communication when i had questions. Great prices. Already requested booking there again in December.
The owner, and employees of Bark N Purr Kennels have always come through for us. They go above and beyond to accommodate our boys Bear and Shadow. I wouldn’t trust any one else with our boys. We recently have had to use their services again due to a home renovation. Needing longer stays with last minute notice. The staff have gone out of their way to help us mange the care of our boys, and we are so grateful. Larissa & Tyler thank you for looking out for us and our boys Bear and Shadow. Thank you to the owner as well for allowing us to have peace of mind while separated from our boys for these long stretches of time. My husband Bill & I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Just boarded Lola here for the second time & both stays were great experiences. Lola was calm & happy when she returned to us. I loved the photo they posted of her on Facebook showing she was having a great time during her stay.
Bark N Purr Kennels is fantastic! Brooke and the rest of the staff always take great care of our quirky Daisy doodle! Brooke takes the time to play with Daisy and since she can be shy, Brooke goes the extra mile to make sure our pup is comfortable and happy 😊 We love Bark N Purr! …
I'm adding to my review from last year because within the past year Bark N Purr came under new ownership. The new owners are as wonderful as the previous owners. We drive almost an hour to take our dog there. Mario is especially attentive and understands it's not always easy to leave our 4-legged family behind. I highly recommend Bark N Purr. Paula and the guys are great. We've been taking our dogs here for boarding for more than four years. Paula also does a great job with grooming. I highly recommend Bark n Purr.
Wow! It’s been a month since we brought our little girl home! I cannot say enough good things about Bryn Kennels. If you want a positive breeder experience and you are looking for a schnauzer, Bryn Kennels is the way to go! Janice made the experience so easy. She is still available for any questions that I may have and our little girl is so happy and most importantly super healthy. She is just perfect! Thank you Janice for your integrity and for your commitment to breeding healthy happy quality dogs!
We got this little boy from Janis and he has been such a great pup. So smart, used the potty pad almost immediately after bringing him home. He has such a great temperament and is beyond adorable.
We got our mini schnauzer here. He is the cutest and sweetest boy. They are very responsive and you can tell care so much about their babies.
I bought a miniature schnauzer from Bryn Kennel in 2004 and 2024. Wouldn’t even consider buying from another kennel, or buying any dog except a miniature schnauzer. In my humble opinion, they are by far the best kennel and schnauzer breeder in Florida.
I just got my puppy in May and I couldn't be happier! He's beautiful, smart, and a blast and the purchase process was smooth and simple. I even got to visit him several times before bringing him home. Thank you!
Excellent puppies and great grooming services! Janice is the best!
I've never used a breeder, before now, but, without question, would recommend this one. We are getting two puppies, and we cannot wait! We were able to meet their parents, meet some of their other dogs, and they all seemed genuinely happy 😁. We left there feeling very comfortable with our decision, and they are lovely people! …
Great breeders here! The people were so nice and helpful!
I have two beautiful babies from them, 4 years apart. Bought them both over the phone, sight unseen. A boy and a girl. They are good, caring breeders and have minis to giants.
They do a wonderful job and really listen to how you want your pet groomed. Good clean environment and they treat the dogs very well
Update: As always the staff at Ormond Beach goes out of their way to take care of our girls Rosey & Ruby! Ruby even had a birthday party! 🥰 Thankful to have Pet Paradise to take care of our pups Rosey and Ruby when we are away or busy for a day. They LOVE coming here for daycare and playing with all the other pups. And the staff is so loving and caring! They also board when we are away and the staff has been great keeping in touch with us when necessary (one of them had a little tummy issue). We trust Pet Paradise to take great care of our babies.
Our boy literally loves Pet Paradise. Not only has he made the best friends to play with - but he loves the humans (employees) that always play with him & show him so much love. We get half a mile away & he goes nuts because he’s so excited to spend time there. They treat him like a total prince & are always so attentive to anything needed. We recommend Pet Paradise in Ormond to all of our fellow dog parent friends!
My dogs are on medicine now for respiratory sickness after staying here. They are all sick. 2 of my 3 dogs stayed here (the 3rd came with us on our trip) Saturday 8/3 1pm to Monday 8/5 10 am when I picked them up. Monday night when I picked them up, my most stressed dog who had never been kenneled before started coughing. Then my older girl. And now, the 3rd dog a few days later that did not even stay at Pet Paradise is coughing. Everyone was always polite on the phone. When I asked for my girls to be put in the same run I was assured my anxiety first time stay dog was doing fine but it stressed her out so much. Vet visit this Tuesday, already started meds yesterday 8/9 thanks to my awesome vet. I won’t get a refund from Pet Paradise until they see the vet visit and approve that its from the stay. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again because I feel like the cleaning practice is part of the problem. I could see the vent in the kennel in the front waiting room was black with dirt and cleanliness is what fights sickness. There’s no sound allowed but you can see the dogs bodies tightening when they cough.
My miniature Australian Shepherd, Valentina, was comfortable with the staff, and that was most important. She practically pranced out of the door after her grooming session with Ami, which means she was also quite pleased with the results.
Trust is the main reason I love Pet Paradise . I know Lucy loves the day care program and while she is there the grooming. Lucy is a rescue and does not trust many people. She does Trust Pet Paradise and gets so excited when we turn the corner. Trust is the best thing when leaving a loved one.
Our dogs, Olive and Gillian, seem happy entering the building. More than one staff member greeted them by name with smiles. They seemed happy with staff when we picked them up. No weight loss. Thirsty but in no way seeming dehydrated. When they are safe and happy then we are happy. Thank you!
I reserved my dog boarding in this location. My dog is always with us so she get a lot of anxiety or get nervous if I left her in a place, last time I left her in Palm Coast, but look it was full. The person that did my checking was with this bad vibe, she started complaining for my dog behavior, she took the dog with her for 2 minutes an then came back with her and told I cannot take her because she bite me which is not true. She didn't tried anything with the dog, but went to their system and put a note that they were not able to take her, bad behavior. I did a reservation in Saint Augustine and I went for the check in the guy there told me about a note in the system because what happened here( so she labeled my dog as a bad one) the guy took the dog with him and 5 minutes later came and told me she is OK, she was nervous and we put the tag. I finished the check-in and she stayed there for 6 days. If you work with animals you know that not all the animals are the same, why not give her time to relax little bit and then try, no she didn't want that dog there, but my dog stayed in the Saint Augustine location without any problem.
Sydney loves getting to come to camp and play with all of her friends! She is quite a reactive pup when it comes to people, but she loves every single staff member that works here. We have boarded her as well, and we love getting the updates about her day and seeing photos of her being her stinky little self. The last time we boarded Sydney, we had her groomed before we picked her up and she smelled amazing for days!!! Getting to watch the her on the cameras is so cute and fun and we love knowing she’s having a blast there.
This was my senior dog's first time staying here. The staff made me feel very comfortable with leaving her in their care. The place is clean with no odor. Highly recommend. I'll be booking her another stay soon.
I know this review is long but please read before booking. I wanted pet paradise to be a good spot for my dog and tried THREE times. We will not be going back. *First experience - Got a $500 respiratory infection, limping, and scabs on his face. I called a few times to see how he was doing and they kept telling me everything was going great. When I picked him up however, he had a few scabs on his face and they said it was from him playing in the pool. Understandable. When I got him back home, he was limping and had this awful wet cough and it went on for a couple days. I took him to the vet ($499 later), they gave him antibiotics, and a few other things. They said it was either kennel cough or he aspirated water and might have an infection, and that he probably sprained his ankle from running. Aside from the injuries, his food anxiety came back. He had this as a puppy and wouldn't eat unless I was touching his back. He would only eat about half his food (typically eats all of it within a few minutes), and would only eat if I was around. Makes me wonder how often they actually checked on him. *Second experience - Drop off nightmare & 2 of 6 food bags coming back? I made a reservation for a Friday lunch drop off on Monday. Got a confirmation call a few days later. When I went to drop him off, I was told they couldn't take him back because a vaccine had expired. You don't think this could have been brought up on the confirmation call? I was polite and asked the latest I could drop him off I now had to make an appointment and get him in last minute with the vet. I got it figured out and dropped him off. When I picked him up, I got his bag back and didn't really check until I got home. He was supposed to have 6 meals during his stay. They are also supposed to add water to the food and this is something I asked if they even did before requesting it. So I'm a little confused why 2 bags of food came back dry. I didn't call about it, just figured I would ask next time. *Third experience - Their computers apparently shut down and are unable to do their job after 5. I received a called at 4:56 and asked what time I would be there. I told them GPS says 9 minutes away (5:04 arrival) and was told they close at 5 on Sunday. I apologized and said I would be there as soon as possible and that I thought they closed at 7. The lady on the phone told me their computer "shuts down" and they will not be able to check him in after 5. I asked why she couldn't keep the computer running and she just said again that it shuts down and she can't do anything about it. I asked if they could take him and check him in the following morning and they said that was against policy (I get that). I was receiving no help or solution from her except, "you can try the place down the street" & "you could drop him off tomorrow when we open at 6:30". I said multiple times that my flight was 7:30 in Orlando and I would already be at the airport. She also said they wouldn't be able to do an early check in fee either because "the computers are down". It was 5:02 at this point and I said, "so there is no way to check him in right now?" and she said no. So I told her to go ahead and cancel my reservation for the entire week. And wouldn't you know, I got an email at 5:06 for the cancellation. Guess the computers were actually working. Interesting.
My husband and I recently got a 9 month old black Labrador pup and she is so amazing but was a little timid and lacked confidence. So my husband did some research and found The Bed N Barkfest for training. We signed Remi up and she completed her two weeks of training and did great! We got picture and video updates everyday, instructional videos for us to use the training at home and a packet with everything we needed to know. Heather and Abby took Remi on field trips to ensure that Remi was able to complete all the commands in different environments and face stressors with confidence, and when she wasn’t in training she got to socialize and play with all the other pups there. Remi did great and enjoyed going everyday! She is now a more confident pup and listens so well, we have learned a lot also and will continue her training at home! We are so glad we did it!
We came from out of town for a last minute trip with various changes to the itinerary and this facility and staff were more than accommodating. It’s clear how much the staff enjoy our pets and their well being as seen by their effective time management and personalized time with each dog individually as well as in a group setting. Continuous communication is kept with the owners through pictures, videos, and messaging through their portal online. My pup normally has terrible separation anxiety, but didn’t even look back when I dropped him off. And the training I signed up for was not only effective but also practical for a home setting environment with video tutorial for the owners to understand the commands. This isn’t your typical kennel boarding system, it’s quite the opposite. Hank will be back :)
We brought our 3 year old pit mix for play n train with Heather, and it was amazing! He already knew basic commands but needed improvement with listening on the first command, walking on a leash without pulling, socialization, not jumping on people when he greets them, etc. At play n train he had the opportunity to interact with other dogs and do training throughout the day + go on field trips to get comfortable in dog friendly stores. One of my favorite parts of the program was that everyday I received pictures and training videos to see his progress! It’s been two weeks and we’ve already seen so much improvement. After the “training handover” now I know the best approach and commands too. We all learned so much and now I look forward to using Bed N’ Barkfest for doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming!
Took our dogs here for training and love the experience. We also frequent their boarding services, and always have a pleasant experience. Heather and the gang really take an interest in the needs of the pups and they really know how to care for them.
My two standard poodles had a blast at daycare this week. They played and played and Heather took so many pictures of them and all the dogs and sent them to us at the end of the day. Fun! Heather and her team seem to really enjoy the pets in their care and do a great job with them. Dogs came home pooped out...will definitely be going back!
Heather and her team are absolutely THE best with my pup. She loves everyone there and I feel safe boarding her at Bed N Barkfest! Heather sends this worried mama pics while my little girl is there, which is very much appreciated! Heather has trained my girl twice, traditional training and off leash training and I couldn't be happier with the results. Heather came to my house to refresh both me and my dog. The facilities are clean and fun for our furry babies. I am well aware that there are several other options in NSB for daycare and boarding but I will continue to send her there as I know she will be loved and well cared for.
We've been using Bed N Barkfest for our boston terrier puppy, Lola, since she was a little over 3 months old and we are SO HAPPY with Heather and all of the staff. Lola loves getting dropped off at daycare, smothers everyone with love, plays hard all day, and comes home a very tired and happy puppy. The interaction with so many dogs from a young age has made her great with all kinds of dogs. The photos we get totally make our day, too! We'll be using Heather for more training with Lola really soon and she will have an overnight stay in the near future. We trust them, love the ease of pick-up/drop-off, and feel like Lola is in wonderful hands when she can't be with us.
My mini schnauzer loves this place and the young trainers. He gets so excited when I drop him off so I know he is well treated. I highly recommend Heather, Abby and all the staff.
Caspers first stay at the Bed N Barkfest was AMAZING!! The staff was extremely helpful knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. Casper was only supposed to stay for 2 nights but I couldn’t make it back in time and was able to switch him to an extra night with no issues. The staff always kept me up to date with how his stay was going and pictures of him with his new friends. I also chose to have him groomed while he was there and the results speak for themselves. Casper will be having another play date and spa day with his new friends soon.
Veda's first doggie daycare experience was this week and it's been amazing! Veda LOVES Bed N' Barkfest!! I love that they text me pics of Veda with her new friends each time she's there! 💜 Thanks, Heather and team for taking such good care of her! …
I highly recommend Lisa of Beachy Pets. She responded quickly to my last minute call to care for our two cats when we had to leave town suddenly for 3 weeks. She gave them good care & texted us with updates, so we had peace of mind while we were away.
I really liked this boarding facility. All the staff members I met were friendly and seemed to care a lot about the pets in their care. I paid for extra playtime for my dog and it was so worth it. He had a blast both in the pool and playing fetch in the play yard. I also love that they don’t mingle the dogs together. That gives me a lot of peace of mind while I’m traveling. I’m new to the area and haven’t left my dog at a boarding facility before (he’s always stayed with family in the past) so I was surprised they didn’t call or email me to let me know all is well. I don’t expect daily calls, but as a brand new client who said they’ve never boarded their dog before I would have expected a call after the first night just to set my mind at ease. I loved the photos of my dog that they had printed when I picked him up, but I feel like they’re a little behind the times with that…a quick text with the photos seem to be a more efficient and economical way to do things. Overall, I had a great experience with this facility and would definitely bring my dog back here anytime I need to board him. Highly recommend!
We’ve been using the VIP Pet Resort for nearly 6 years. Price increases and post-covid hiring problems are understandable. However, after 2 recent extended stays things have changed. Some of the current staff now seem unhappy. We no longer receive the usual pictures or updates. We supply the food as required, but after picking up our 2 dogs from our latest boarding we noticed that their treats were gone and the food container itself was as full as it was on drop-off date. Instructions were clearly written on the container. The dogs were noticeably thinner. That was especially disturbing. No one could confirm if they had actually received their playtime or if they had received the suite which was requested.
This place will leave your dog to overheat, if it means that the supposed "groomer" doesn't have to leave the front desk. And all the experienced workers left and it's all new people working in the kennels, but now they don't even have enough staff to operate. Plus if your dog has food and doesn't eat, they hide it so you don't know how much they missed. It's called the "extra food bag." Go to Pet Paradise, your dog will be happier, better cared for and get actual emergency services.
My in-laws live in Port Orange and we usually stay at an Airbnb when we visit. We booked reservations at a place that does not allow pets months before the perfect puppy, Raygun, came into our lives. My mother-in-law volunteered to keep Raygun at her house however she is in poor health; after four days, a puppy was too much for her. We were forced to find a place to board Raygun or end our vacation early. I made a few phone calls, VIP Pets had space for her! Samantha listened, showed concern for our situation, and was there to check Raygun in. All of the staff that we interacted with was extremely helpful and I could tell that they love dogs. The facility is beautiful. The kennels themselves are spacious. Dogs get plenty of play time and the staff does not allow unfamiliar dogs to comingle. On some days we took Raygun out for a few hours and she was happy when we brought her back to VIP in the evening. I strongly recommend VIP Pets to anyone and will gladly use them again in the future.
They took good care of my girl. Always took my calls and gave me an update on how she was eating. The staff was very nice. We will use them again!
Our experience was the worst over charged charged for 6 days instead of 5 our dog was covered in urine everyone of his toys smelled like piss they should be turned into animal protection we will never use this place again they need to be shut down
I can’t say enough positives about VIP Pet Resort! They take great care of my (often picky Double yellow head parrot). They even tolerate me calling every day to check on him, even though I know he’s fine. The staff is sweet and very responsive.
I used VIP for the first time Memorial day weekend. Very caring staff. My two small dogs were well cared for. I would trust them with my fur babies again. 5 Stars service.
I would never use this facility again to board my dog. From the outset i had an uneasy feeling and should have trusted my insticts. I did hesitate but my vet office said that they were aware of the place and spoke positively about them, so i decided to try it. I initially made a call to arrange boarding for two nights. I reserved the dates after inquiring about the rates and service. The rate was super reasonable and i was told my dog would also receive an exit bath. For an additional fee they would include walks on a leash, play time, and other features. I did not choose the additional services until arrival. When i called to confirm my approximate arrival time their was confusion about my reservation. Once we cleared the confusion up, I proceeded to take my dog to the facility. Upon arrival i was greeted by a woman who was quite unpleasant. Her manner was in no way welcoming. The charges were discussed and i was told again that my dog would also receive an exit bath. I also arranged for two extra services, a walk and a play time. (Ultimately it was too rainy for these services). Upon returning to pickup my dog i was told the total for the bill and the total did not match what i was quoted. The total she stated was including the two extra services that we did not receive. The woman then did delete the extra charges. She was quite short with me but did delete them. I was then told i was just paying for the two nights. I used my debit card and signed the receipt and put my copy in my purse. As we were leaving i had my husband go back in and leave a cash tip. When I returned home i was balancing my checkbook and noticed the charge from VIP which was approximately $20 higher than what i was quoted. I noticed my paperwork stated a charge of $17 for a bath. I was at no time told there would be an additional charge for this. I also noticed a service fee of an additional $2.75. Now, these additional costs weren’t going to break me but it is the principal of the matter. When i called VIP about these additional charges i was told only at this time that they DO charge for the exit bath. When i questioned the additional $2.75 i was told it was because i used my debit card to pay. There was NO signage regarding this. As a matter of fact, when i called today to speak to the manager she stated they did have a notice on the counter for over a year but removed it. I was ultimately told i would receive a refund to my debit card for the bath. (When i initially called yesterday, i was told by another individual that i would receive a credit at the establishment for next use. I stated that was unacceptable because i would not be using their facility again). I let it go when they could not find my dog’s remaining can of food, it was just a minor inconvenience for me. This facility is not a place that will get my business again. I will happily pay more for a more organized, friendly facility as i have done in the past.
This is the best place on the planet for your pets. I had never boarded my Shepherd before and when I went to pick her up she went with me reluctantly. And the next time I took my Shepherd there she didn’t even look back at me to say goodbye. The entire staff is awesome and they absolutely love all of the animals. They treat them as if they were their own. The entire facility is neat and clean and they have nature trail walking areas to take the animals on for exercise. They have a leach free play area for exercising the pets I can’t say enough about this facility and the staff.
Using this wonderful. Place since. 2010 they are the best. Most caring staff I’ve ever known. They go beyond and above the normal.
These people are incredibly good to the dogs and they CARE! I can't tell you the number of times I've been locked out--which sounds bad, but they are located on a busy highway. They lock 2 sets of doors so no dog can get out and into traffic, and they are happy to annoy a customer having to wait outside as long as their charges are safe. I find this highly ethical and it tells you how careful and loving they are with all their charges. I really recommend this place.
They took such good care of our baby!
Just got a rescue& she(Angel) Was in bad need of her nails clipped. They were very nice & did a great job, no more neglect for my Angel😇 …
Great staff and atmosphere! Beautiful quality grooming.
I love this place. My parents and I have going here for over 10 years and I just want to say thank you for doing such a great job
Over 20 years of professional, and great customer services. Fair and honest pricing for all services. Long standing the best this area has to offer.
My Bella, who is very picky who she likes, loves going to At Your Bark and Call. Her haircut is always perfect!
🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 🐶 I came to Daytona, I was looking for a doggy Daycare. Everything was booked up. Else where. I ended calling this place they took my doggy at the last minute. There pricing is super cheap… It’s incredible!! There staff is so nice.. the place is clean.. I love it!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you l! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
I love this place! They take excellent care of my Mastiff! A lot of places wouldn't take him because of his size, drooling, and shedding but these ladies welcome Groot with open arms. I did try another place, just once, and had to give him a bath as soon as I got in. He stunk like he was in a kennel the whole time. Will not do that again! At Your Bark and Call will be the only place for my big boy!!
