I can’t tell you how lucky I feel that Barbara and John were available for my housesit. They were so fabulous on their first sit two years ago that I actually reached out to them to see if they would sit for me again on this trip – luckily they were! My cat is very fond of both of them. It was also wonderful to come home to a meticulously clean house, especially after a 27 hour travel day. Jessica cheerfully endured a sit where she had to deal with a lot of rainy weather and a dog who likes to go on walks regardless of the weather - he’s a Lab, so I think he actually enjoys the rain! She maintained such a good attitude about everything and she sent several photos of the two of them snuggling on the couch when they were stuck indoors. I should also mention that she is excellent with communication during the sit, and she left my house very neat and clean. I felt that Hudson got lots of loving attention and was very well-cared-for. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.
