She followed through on all the instructions on my guide and kept in contact with photos and comments throughout the sit. The house was sparkling when I returned and the cats calm and happy. Andrew and Sara were great! Communication both before and during the sit was excellent. As we were new to house sitters, and Sara and Andrew have a lot of experience, they were great at helping us get prepared. They arrived as scheduled and were very organized. While we were gone, they kept us posted on our pup and goings on with the house. We really appreciated how they dealt with a couple of issues that came up. We returned to a spotless house and a happy dog. We couldn't be happier with Andrew and Sara and we highly recommend them.

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Laura is hands down the best sitter that we have ever had care for our pets and house! Having her stay made our trip away so care free and added a super fun layer of getting her daily (morning and night!) updates with photos and videos, some were hilarious I love Laura’s sense of humor! We were gone 8 days and when’s we arrived home our house was cleaner than when we left, mail on the counter, yard was picked up, it was beyond what we would expect. This made our first day back so easy. Oh’ and our pets were so relaxed and happy we knew they were loved and taken care of while we were away. Laura knew that we were coming home late and she even had bought a yummy quiche, rolls, fruit and juice so that we had breakfast in the morning! Laura is responsive, a great communicator, I could go on but simply put she is welcome at our house anytime. Simply the best!! Thank you tons Laura!!

Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

Allison and all the staff at Coastal Paws truly are special. Somehow they manage to make everyone feel like family. I always feel confident when I leave my dog with them that he is safe, well monitored, clean and happy! He has THE best time there. There are a million boarding facilities in Houston. I drive out of my way to bring him to Coastal Paws because I trust them so much. It all boils down to how happy my pooch is when I pick him up, and how excited he is when he knows he is going there. I could not more highly recommend Coastal Paws.
We are going on vacation tomorrow. This is the third or fourth time we have boarded our dog with Coastal Paws. Their rates are very reasonable and you do not need to worry about your pet if Coastal Paws is caring for it.
This is a very nice facility with amazing care takers!! I sent Harvey my dog who has separation anxiety from me to her so we could go on vacation. I am sure he was a handful, but he was happy when I picked him up and I know he would be happy to go back!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their fur babies to be well taken care of while they are gone!
We recently boarded our dog Charlie at Coastal Paws and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The facility was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Charlie loves playing with the other dogs and we can always tell that he had a great time and was well-cared for when we pick him up. Overall, I highly recommend Coastal Paws to anyone looking for a top-notch pet boarding experience. They truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and service.

Left our lab there for a few days over Thanksgiving while I was in Matagorda. I was able to get all the info I needed by phone a few weeks before. I was able to register and upload vaccination records on their website. The drop off and pick up went smoothly. Very friendly owners and staff. I’ll use their service again. Update: I’ve used Coastal Paws about 5 times now and always a good experience. I had my lab there for 5 days over Thanksgiving 2022. He really enjoys being around other dogs and he came home pretty much wiped out. Overall though, the folks here are kind and professional. Zero complaints, all compliments for them.
We love Coastal Paws in Bay City, TX and so does our 85 lb mix breed hound dog, Odin. He gets to sociallize and play with other dogs in the big play area. He also has his own kennel with indoor and outdoor areas. The owners and their employees take such good care of him. They treat him as if he were their own. Thanks Coastal Paws!
Allison, the owner, was a vet technician for many years before deciding to open her boarding facility so you can be sure your furbabies are in excellent care. She LOVES animals of all kinds and I love how she brings her kids to help her at her facility to teach them responsibility. The facility was well thought out to make sure every room has plenty of space and access to outdoors. She is very cognizant of keeping playtime for the animals friendly. If you're considering boarding your animals, Coastal Paws is the ONLY choice in the Bay City area!
Coastal Paws Pet Lodge is awesome!! The citizens of Matagorda County are blessed to have such a great place. It is state of the art with indoor and outdoor kennels. There are also two very large outside play areas for the dogs. Not only is the owner Allison Colman a great boarder but she's also a vet tech. She has helped For the Love of Animals with so many animals. Many have stayed during transition to new homes for adoption. All of the animals just LOVE her and so do all of us at For the Love of Animals. Thank you Allison.
Coastal Paws Pet Lodge was more than I could have hoped for when I boarded my dog who had recently undergone surgery. At the time, she was wearing a cone, had to be administered medicine twice a day, and was very timid to say the least. Allison and her staff cared for my dog like she was their own. Not only did I receive photos and videos of her each day, I was kept up to date on her health and recovery status, as well as how she was adjusting to her new environment. When I picked her up after 5 days, she had become confident in wearing her cone, had clearly been taken care of and made new friends. Coastal Paws Pet Lodge is THE BEST!
