Jon was an outstanding pet & housesitter. He was responsive in our communication with him, he left our home in immaculate condition, and most importantly, he treated our pups as he would his own. Multiple walks, just enough treats to keep the kids happy, and a lot of TLC defined his stay in our home. An added bonus is that he is a professional photographer and took some stunning photos of our little ones. Definitely a 10+ sitter!

Abby, Jacob and family were perfect house/pet sitters! Our older dog requires extra attention because she is blind, and Abby's youngest child became the dog's advocate! The second dog because the special pet to Abby's daughter! The home was left in perfect condition! Abby communicated on a regular basis and readily took our guidance. There were several unplanned housing incidents like a non-functioning elevator, a unexpected building fire alarm and evacuation, hurricane wind and rain, etc., and Abby weathered these challenges with problem solving strategies and humor! Alan and Glenda were an absolute delight. We met up the evening before the sit and left the morning after, so we had some nice time to visit, chat and learn about their travels. Chasqui (our dog) had clearly made a bond with them as she was begging them to throw the ball when we got back from our mini-vacation. She smiled at them and cuddled up to them...not something that would happen if she had been ignored or treated badly in any way. The house was scrubbed down and neat upon our return. Everything was in perfect order. We couldn't have asked for a better sit. Except for walks in the neighborhood to lunch spots, they stuck to home, enjoying the garden and Chasqui's company. In a nutshell, Alan and Glenda are calm, polite, kind, mature and conscientious sitters and we would not hesitate to have them back.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end.
