Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful.
We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail.

First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own.

Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see.

Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site!

Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !!  She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days.  We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was.  We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out.  All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely.  Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for.  The koi were also active and happy.  

Janis is a “cat whisperer”.  She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background).  Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. 

Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children.  They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. 

Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish.  We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.  If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.

Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge.
