Sharon and Ryne were my first sitters on this site and have set a very high benchmark! They were great with my dog Ollie and sent regular picture updates. I was especially impressed they let the apartment cleaned and did laundry and dishes which was much appreciated after a long trip.

Professional, working couple
Joseph and Hannah are the dream team! They were committed to taking the very best care of our 3 dogs. They sent photos and messages regularly letting us know how they were all doing. We came home to happy dogs, food in the refrigerator for dinner, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. They are an awesome couple and we will definitely meet up with them again in the future. Thank you both so very much!

Nick and Patricia were the best. They did an amazing job taking care of my dog who needs a lot of activity. They were very communicative, sent pictures and updates everyday. They showed up exactly on time. They also cleaned my place and did the sheets and made the bed before leaving. Can’t recommend them enough.

It was a pleasure to have Nick sit for us again. He was communicative throughout our time away and sent us daily photos and videos of the cats. We came back to a clean house and three cats that were obviously pampered and cared for while we were away.

Mike came alone and was amazing. Within 5 min of meeting him, all three (2 did and a cat) were enamored and comfortable. He went above and beyond taking care of the house, watering the plants, and providing love and care for my fur and feather family. I would 100% recommend him.

Thomas and Annie were over-the-top reliable, proactive, professional and personable. Willy took to them immediately which is unusual and great to have such dear people taking care of our cat. They are very experienced so knew what questions to ask before they started and were very setup and self sufficient for their stay. We hope that they are available for future sits!

Gosh, oh my gosh, I can’t say enough about these two they were engaging. They were so at home they loved my kitty to the end of the world. They left her a little toy and they were so gracious when I came home a day early and didn’t tell them. She my mistake, I really screwed up and I feel really bad. They were just absolutely wonderful. I hope they come back when Clark is home

Kelly and Pat arrived the evening before I left on my trip so we were able to have a nice visit and get to know each other a bit. They asked many questions about the dogs and the house so that they would feel comfortable with the pet sit. Piper and Zuria were very comfortable with them. They sent pictures from dog walks, kept me informed and promptly notified me when there was one simple issue that they handled very well. I’m not able to speak to the condition of the house on my return because a second sitter came right after Kelly and Pat and before I came home. They spent time with the new sitter so that she would know how to take care of the dogs and negotiated the transfer time. Kelly and Pat are a lovely couple and very interesting to talk with. I feel lucky that they were able to take care of Piper and Zuria and would love to have them back again.
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
BriAnna was our first pet sitter and we loved her :). She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. We highly recommend BriAnna to take care of your pets and we would love to have her back!
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Elaine was the best dog and cat sitter I have ever had! She was so loving to the boys, kind, reliable, capable and took fabulous care of my two dogs and cat welfare. Walked them every day and would even sing to them (-: I am so very grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Elaine and I would recommend Elaine to anyone wanting first class care of pets and home!!! We all miss having her around and wish her a fabulous world trip and safe journey back to the States.
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.
Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Thank you for taking great care for the dogs and the house.
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

First time coming in and using the self serve pet wash. Love love loved itttt!! 10/10 would recommend. Wash has everything you need for a great price🙂 Will be returning!!! …
Took Audrey to be groomed by Ana and it was a great choice. She was going in for shampoo, ear cleaning and nail trimming. When I picked her up 2 hours later, Audrey was in such a good mood, I had to assume she was having a good time with Ana and the staff. Audrey's skin and hair were fantastic, nails were neatly trimmed, and ears are clean. Would go back next time!
I come here just about every month to get my dog groomed. I have never hated a groom. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because when my dog was going to daycare he got a real bad kennel cough when he was a pupper (it turned into pneumonia). Fortunately for us we caught it early and he is fine now but we just stopped the daycare and now just do the groom every 4 to 5 weeks.
Self-service dog wash and blow dry for $15, with different shampoos and conditioner. Can’t beat that! Their system seems modern and well Maintained and the tub has a ramp and leads. I’ll definitely be back!
Love Tails! Mason has so much fun and we appreciate the care they take to make sure he is safe and happy when we go away for a weekend or week. He is always wiped out when he gets back from playing with all of his pup friends!
Long overdue! Tails is phenomenal! Their daycare and boarding options have been lifesavers for our family. The care and love that our dogs get in their care is unmatched. I also really appreciate their flexibility with boarding during our sons birth. I highly recommend Tails.
My dog LOVES going to Tails for playcare or boarding. People are friendly, place is clean. Affordable rates. I love the self-serve dog wash too. So much easier than at home.
Extremely happy we found this pet resort. It’s very clean and welcoming. We boarded our cat for 10 days. He loved his stay. The cat boarding room has many cat posts, big large windows, and a few levels in their own condo. Thanks Tails! We can’t wait to use you guys again.
Took my dog in to drop in for nails trim, staff was wonderful and our dog was very happy with the staff .they also cut his nails just right not too short .
Maverick and Sophie love coming here, and they always leave very soft, fluffy and smelling great.
Kelly is absolutely amazing. Her place is clean and comfortable and the dogs really are spoiled. She spends so much quality time with the dogs .I never worry one bit about my dog when she is with Kelly. The dogs are always happy and having a great time when I’ve stopped by to drop off or pick up. When we are gone for an extended period of time we get pictures and updates. Really puts you at ease when you know your fur kids are getting such great care. We can’t say enough good things about Kelly’s Creature Comforts
Kelly's Creature Comforts is the only place we trusted to leave our yellow lab Gunner with! Kelly and everyone who works for her are amazing. Gunner had allergies and they were always happy to give him the care he needed. He loved staying with them. Now apart from boarding your dog they also have an incredible Sniff Park. You owe it to yourselves and your dogs to check her out.
Kelly's Creature Comforts was so perfect for my sweet Annie Oakley who was not even a year old. I felt like she had a "home away from home " feeling for a whole week. It is such a wonderful facility that provided my Annie with a spacious indoor play area along with lots of room to run and play outside and socialize with other dogs. She had her own little room with comfortable bedding and toys. Kelly is very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs (animals) and ensures a safe, very clean & lots of FUN environment for them. I live an hour away from Kelly but I would drive however long it took me to leave my Annie with her!! I highly recommend Kelly's Creature Comforts!! I can't wait for our next vacation so Annie can get some more "Kelly LOVE"!!!
I took my dog, Luna to Kelly's CC this summer while I was temporarily living in the area. Kelly was extremely warm and friendly. After our initial call, I knew that Luna would be in good hands with Kelly - a true dog watching pro. Luna had a few overnights with Kelly this Summer. Luna is a little bit of an anxious/ nervous girl, and Kelly went above and beyond to make Luna feel comfortable, and helped her eat when she was too nervous to eat. I felt relaxed and at ease knowing that Luna was in good hands with Kelly. I would definitely recommend her, she's fantastic!
I have been a big fan of KCC since my first use of their services six years ago. What started out as stopping by to see to the needs of my five cats morphed into using at-home walking services when I got a dog. I don't think a kinder, more loving group of people who show uptmost care and respect for animals and my home are available in my area. If my non-vocal Husky would talk he'd howl them high praise!
I love Kelly's Creature Comforts. This place is clean, Well organized, loving and is like a real home away from home. My 9 yr old Shepherd, who doesnt like me to be out of her sight, feels at home here and is treated with sensitive care and concern. Kelly really understands dogs and knows how to manage each one. Kelly makes sure that meds are given as prescribed and needed. The bedrooms for each dog are true luxury. There is clean room to play inside and out and sofas for dogs who like to feel at home. This is the only place I would have my dog stay. Thank you Kelly's Creature Comforts Team.!!!
My boy loves the time he spends at Kelly's. He is very social and has alot of energy. I never have to worry about him cause I know he is well taken care of. Kelly's know their dogs!
I have used KCC several times to board my dog and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great facility for the dogs and I know Kelly will treat my pup with great care. She loves to romp with other dogs and KCC gives her all that and more. Cage free fun!
Highly recommend Kelly’s Creature Comforts! They are the best around. My Australian shepherd loves going to dog daycare each week. She gets excited when we get close to Sharon’s and always comes home happy and tired. I know my dog is cared for and loved and gets plenty of exercise. Forever grateful we found Kelly’s Creature Comforts as we never have to stress when we take a trip as I know our pup is getting the best care and feels at home! The best place for your furry best friend!
I really enjoy having Kelly's to take our dog to. He always enjoys himself, and comes home tired after having such a good time. Kelly is great with communications when she has your dog, and is very good at making sure your dog is the right fit for her place. She's definitely made it a home away from home for the dogs that visit.
Our chocolate lab loves it here! We take him to daycare weekly, and he’s always extremely excited to go to “school.” Our pooch comes home tired (but contented) after romping with his pals and roaming the yard. We also feel very comfortable boarding him for extended periods of time, and the owners were very accommodating when we needed to travel out of state for a family emergency. The owners know all the dogs’ individual personalities, and they care for them like their own. They genuinely love dogs and I appreciate their practical, common-sense, and cage-free approach. I’m very grateful to Hobo Dog Haven for being our dog’s home away from home!
We left a Dutch Shepherd and 14 yr old Shepherd Doberman here for a weekend. They clearly had a wonderful time playing with other dogs and were so happy . They were looked after with great care. There was plenty of shade and AC. I recommend this place, and owners of dogs can be assured of capable care and special instructions from the dog owners followed carefully by the Hobo Kennel owners.
My 8 year old German Shepherd, Emma, has had some incidences of fear aggression with other dogs in the past, so I was very nervous about leaving her here. We did a half-day trial, and Betsy introduced her to the other dogs slowly. Emma did great. Betsy was sure she would be fine, so we left her for five days while we were away. When we got back, Emma was relaxed, happy and hanging out with the other dogs like it was the most normal thing in the world! I was amazed. Last week we took her to a dog park where there were 11 other dogs, and she greeted them easily with a wagging tail. It's like I have a different dog. I am so pleased. Betsy at Hobo Dog Haven understands dog behavior and can read their body language. I trust her judgment. This was a very positive experience, and we will definitely use Hobo Dog Haven again. It's so much less stressful than a kennel for anxious dogs.
This place is amazing! Very reasonable rates for both daycare and boarding! Our dog started going here when she was old enough to play with other dogs.. We have had very little behavior issues because she is able to get her puppy energy out! I always thought it pretentious to take the dog to daycare, but it helps immensely for bigger dogs and getting that energy out...This I strongly believe has made easier training and cutting out bad behaviors due to boredom...
This place should be named Hobodog Heaven. I originally brought my dog here for week-day dog care, but I have begun to use them for weekends and overnight if we are on a trip where the dog can't go. Our dog Shadow is a member of our family and truly spoiled at home. She receives the same care and attention at Hobodog Haven, the same as if she were with us. So the lawn (field) isn't mowed; so the maintenance is not on par with a sub-division looking home. Your dog DOESN'T CARE. All she really needs is a friendly caretaker, a place to play and romp with the other dogs, meals, and a cozy place to crash after play-time. She gets that and more. The owners Doug & Betsy care about your pet; they are in-tune with how they feel that day and watch over them all as if they were their own. Slightly shabby chic? Trust me, your dog doesn't care, and neither will you if you try them out. Prices are more than fair - about half what I paid in Puyallup. If you want sterile dog kennels and higher prices there are plenty of places to take your dog. If you want a happy, tired, well cared for dog upon your return, go to Hobodog.
My dog loves this place. She gets to play, run in & out, sleep where she wants, and gets plenty of attention. Owner Betsy even let her sleep on the bed one day because the dog seemed "a little tired". Just like home to her. Forget the negative reviews. The price is the best you will find, the care is top-notch and my dog is not in a kennel. Plenty of places like that around that are sterile and impersonal, very few like Hobodog Haven.
We boarded our dog, Eli, for a couple of days. They took great care of him despite him being nervous. It is obvious that they love dogs! They commented on a couple of mannerisms of my pom. It shows an attention to detail and love of animals. We will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks again for taking good care of Eli!
Wow! I read the review by Michael and I have to say I'm absolutely astonished by its' content. My name Is Jim Sequist and I live in Pierce county. I have two dogs, an 11 year old Chocolate Lab (Chase) and a three year old white medium sized dog with black and brown spots.(Cody) My wife and I love our dogs like the family members they are. We have been leaving Chase in the care of Hobodog Haven for as many years as they have been in business. The first time we left Chase there he almost couldn't contain his excitement at seeing and hearing the other dogs. He seemed to be telling us at first glance that he was very happy to be there. Please keep in mind that we were anxious about leaving him anywhere because he, at the time had severe separation anxiety whenever we left him anywhere, even at home alone. After going over Chase's feeding requirements and any other particulars about him with Doug, we thought we were in for a dramatic display of "Mommy, Daddy please don't go!!!. In reality, when we said goodbye to Chase, he didn't even want to stop playing long enough to get his ears scratched and petted. If he could have talked I imagine he would have said something like "see ya, don'y hurry back. I'll be just fine here". We were gone for about a week and when we came to get him he was glad enough to see us to take about 5 seconds to greet us before going back to his buddies. As we were leaving he whined and cried and kept looking back to see the guys. He didn't want to leave. It was several months before we needed to leave chase for a second time. As we pulled into the driveway, he got more and more excited and when the house came into view he began barking as if to say " hey fellas, I'm back. He couldn't wait to get out of the truck. This behavior on his part has been repeated every time we take him back there. We have to go out of town soon so we brought both Chase and Cody in to meet Doug and Patsy. Again Chase recognized his favorite "doggie resort" and Cody was as excited to be there as Chase ever was. We feel very good about leaving our boys in Doug's' and Patsy's care. I can't imagine even considering leaving them anywhere else as long as we live in the area. I hope Michael will read this and re-think his decision to never leave his dog there. Yes, it is true that the property is rather rustic. No manicured lawns or expensive landscaping, but there are multiple fenced in areas where the dogs can run and play. There are secure areas that have trails through the woods around the house where, in Doug's words, the dogs can run around and pretend that they are "ferocious woods beasties". This is a wonderful alternative to most other dog boarding facilities and it should be remembered that the place is set up to be comfortable and enjoyable for dogs not humans. It would be a real shame for someone to read such a negative review such as the one I have referred to and have their pet miss out on a wonderful experience with other pups. Big kudos to Hobodog Haven and to Doug and Patsy for their fore-site in providing such a great place for dogs.
This place scares me. I stopped by to check it out while looking for a place to board my rottweiler. I brought my dog with me to show him around. The person working there let us into a fenced off area just outside of the building the dogs stay in. Outside the place seemed decent like the dogs have room to run around and play. I asked if I could look at the inside and they said no. I asked why, and they said they couldn't in case one of the dogs were to bite me or my dog. They tried to assure me that it wouldn't happen... but I simply can't leave my dog somewhere where they won't let me see the place that my dog is to stay at. For all I know it's poop and urine encrusted on the inside. To be honest the place looked like it needed some serious maintenance. While driving in you can tell that the yard rarely has any up keeping done on it which is a sign to me of a place I don't want my dog staying. I wouldn't suggest anyone ever leave their dog here. edit 12/21/2013 - After reviewing the owner's response I hope people can see how silly they are. Any other place will gladly allow potential dog owners to see where their dog will be staying. The owners of hobodog are going to great lengths to prevent that from happening which only shows they have something to hide. I suppose this would be a great place to leave your dog if you don't care about them at all. I have chosen to take my dog to Happy Tails in Enumclaw. Over two years of occasional work travel I can honestly say Zeus loves Happy Tails.
I took my 10 month old puppy to stay at hobo dog haven over the weekend. He came home with a bite mark across his nose and cuts on his nose and under his eye. He was also limping and lethargic. He is a sweet and non-aggressive dog. When he first came home, he was also ravenously hungry and thirsty. I am so upset he was not properly supervised. I will never take my dog back here.
We went on our destination wedding vacation and found this company through Google to board our dogs. We're very glad we choose them. We trusted them with our dogs and they did an amazing job caring for them. We will definitely use them again when we need a boarding kennel in the future.
We left our dogs here for just the one night. They were dropped off at 10am Saturday, with pick up being at 3pm Sunday, the next day. I was told that since they were being picked up after 11, we’d be charged for a second day. For two dogs for two days, I was told $90. I was also told that it was fine for us to pick up on a Sunday, as they had others doing the same. Upon pick up, we were told that because we were picking up on a Sunday that it was $162. That’s almost double what I was originally quoted, for them being there for only 29 hours. When we booked and dropped off dogs, we dealt with a man, who was friendly. Pick up was with a woman we had not dealt with, who was extremely rude, and said several times that it was suppose to be their day off. Not only that, we had sent enough food for our two dogs for their whole stay, already pre measured out. 8 bags for 4 meals that they’d have there. Only one bag was even used (which is only enough for one of two dogs). They may have been fed something else, but they were definitely not fed the three meals a day that they were suppose to do. Upon getting home, our female guzzled water, which makes us wonder when the last time they received water was. We will not use this kennel again, or recommend it.
Staff is friendly and the rates are very affordable. They recently expanded/remodeled and the new kennels for the smaller dogs look very nice. We have used them several times and never had any issues. Would recommend to anyone.
A great place to board your dog. Friendly and accommodating of any special circumstances. This was our first time boarding with someone that wasn’t family and we were very happy with their care. We have used them a second time and we’re just as happy with everything. This will be our go to boarding facility from now on. Thank You for all your hard work.
Took our new pup there. She looked good and happy needed a bath when she got home but we will be back.
Have never had a problem with my dog going to Caviar Kennels. Manager Jimmy has an extensive knowledge of different dog breeds. I would so highly recommend this place to book your dog.
The owner is a nice, attentive sitter for our baby. He clearly loves dogs (has 4 of his own) We boarded him for 3 days (I only called twice) and o was happy and looked great when we came to pick him up. If you have ever had a dog boarded, you know what an upset, anxious , and stressed out dog looks like. NOT here! We trust him so much with our baby that we are going to board him there for 10 days while we are out of the country (I promise to only call 4 times)
I used this boarder on more than one occasion. Super affordable and they were very nice... Initially, I had to give vaccine records, but even after 2 years, I was never asked to provide updated records, even after one of my dogs vaccines were due (yes, they are all up to date currently). Though the owners are extremely friendly, it made me realize this is probably the case for all customers, and made me think about what kind of health-risk situation I was leaving my dogs in. On one scenario, I booked months in advance to ensure my dogs boarded together because they have extreme separation anxiety. The second day after I was on vacation,I received a call saying they all were separated into individual kennels because the guy went on vacation and the grandmother was too weak to handle all of the dogs herself. I was pretty upset and in a different country,so there was nothing I could do about it, despite my planning. The last and final time we used this boarder, they came back with horrible skin infections and that was where I drew the line. Lesson to bring away from this - pay more and get a better boarder. You get what you pay for.
This place is absolutely awful. The dogs are kept in filthy runs. My feeding instructions were not followed at all, they fed her HALF of her meals at most. She has sores on her feet and broken nails. This place is clearly run by people who have no idea how to care for animals and cannot follow basic instructions. Our cat faired only slightly better because he was kept inside their disgusting house. I am ashamed to have taken my animals here and hope to caution anyone and everyone to stay away from this business.
I left my dog there for almost 4 weeks and they took good care of him. The only issue is that when I picked up my dog he had a skin irritation/infection in his testicles for sitting too long, according to the veterinary. I had to apply an ointment and he had to use the cone of shame for a week so he wasn't happy.
Diane and Chris took the most beautiful care of our boy Makena for 14 years. Keeping him beautifully trimmed and cool during the summer months and winter too. They have loved him through all stages of his life including his aging years, lifting him and gently bathing and laying him on his side to shave and trim when he could no longer stand for long. There really are no words to express our thanks and appreciation for their loving support of our dog and us too as the time drew near. He will always be missed "Makena 2010-2024".
Know the business! Diane's knowledge of breeds amazes me. Tesla Blue, my 11 month old Frenchie, melts into her hands when time for her nail trimming. Found her forever groomer and needed team for my vacation time. Highly recommend!
Staff are very friendly.Grooming affordable. Kennels smelled good. Super light and bright. Able to text them while on a trip, and they are always happy to respond with updates on how pets are doing. Lots of space. Would recommend to take your pet by to see for yourself for an orientation visit. Only feedback to be aware of is if you leave a voicemail and they don't respond quickly, don't let it divert you. They are great and caring with the family members.
Cheyenne has only been going since Dec, but she seems to love it. I was worried about how she would react with all the other animals.... Diane is great 👍🏼 👌 …
We just picked our dog up after boarding him for the 1st time! He is happy and clean! I know he loved running around the huge yard and playing with the other dogs. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they love animals! Bruno will be back for sure!
Our friendly dog loves visiting here. He’s always happy after playing all day. Great for a day visit or longer boarding needs. They do grooming too so you have a tired clean pup when you pick up. Highly recommend.
Love this staff and location! Wish they were closer to us but we make the drive because our pup loves going. I like that they allow the dogs to out and play together. Ours was one tired pup coming home from here. Thanks for taking such great care of our fur baby!
Brought my Rottweiler for a week. Affordable, and she loved the experience from what I can tell the excitement to see her family coming back and the kind treatment they give all their animals. The staff is very kind and generous! They kept track if all our belongings too, and we gave them food, toys, a bed, a blanket, a bowl, a bag, and a bucket! Wanted to be as prepared as possible for a whole week! She got to have an open space to play with the other dogs and freely roam a large grassland. They definitely spoiled her.
The owners and the workers are great. They’re very friendly and attentive and treat my dog as if she is their own. She gets so excited every time we pull into the driveway to drop her off and sleeps like a baby when she is home. Their prices are also VERY reasonable compared to any other place I have looked into. We drive out of our way weekly to bring our dog here. I highly recommend White River Corral.
Great for your fur babies. Caring, attentive to dogs needs. Personal attention given. Each dog has it's own space indoors and out, nice runs. Playtime is in a group setting for nice dogs who play well with other's. Boarding and Day care
We love Emily's Woof Pack! Emily and her crew love your dog like their own and always make sure they have the best time. I never worry about my dog when she is at Emily's Woof Pack!
Emily is the best pet sitter! She has a magnetic personality with people, but the effect she has on dogs is supernatural. I have never seen my pup so excited to stay with someone else. I could not recommend anyone more than "Aunty Em"
We love Emily’s Woof Pack! Gene loves going to daycare. He gets so excited every time we drop him off!
I’m so grateful to have Val in our life. She accommodated my dogs in last min decision for boarding. She is very organized and detailed oriented. She is very passionate about her work and she provides best quality care. She quickly response to my messages and she keeps me updated at all times. My dogs love her and always excited to see her. She also live so close by which is super convenient. I highly recommended her and I definitely going to take my dogs again for day care!
Val is amazing!!! She recently cared for my puppy that is super challenging and did a fantastic job with her. She also cared for my recently departed malamute many times. Val is responsive, caring and clean! Her home is well kept and she is great about social distancing and hand hygiene. I highly recommend her for both boarding and daycare.
Able services has been a gift to find! Valerie is a remarkable, kind, loving person who is gifted at taking care of dogs. She loves my dog like her own and even calls herself his godmother!! I even put her as his second emergency contact because I trust that she would take care of my dog like her own. She is incredibly flexible with dates and times and has been able to accommodate every request including holidays. She even picks my dog up from my home in the morning and drops him off. Her ability to transport has helped me tremendously for dog care. Her pricing is very reasonable. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Valerie and Able services. They also can provide yard work and cleaning which I’ve used in the past. Valerie is only able to perform excellence, and I know my dog is not only safe but he’s happy when he’s at her place playing with the other dogs.
I'd give 10 stars if I could. Val is absolutely incredible with my Australian Shepherd. I work 24 hour shifts and having him be with Val while I'm at work puts my mind completely at ease. She sends fun pictures and updates throughout the day so I get to see my little baby playing with all his friends :) Val is very easy to contact and quick to respond. She makes it so easy! I've been bringing my dog here for a few months now and wish I would have found out about her sooner. I'll be a returning customer for a very long time!
Val is such an amazing person and a great pet sitter. She also is very good at dog behavior and understanding how they react in situations. I think she is a dog whisper. I was concerned with my Boston wanting to attack other dogs. I took her to various trainers over the years and nothing worked. After going to Vals she now doesn’t always have the desire to attack other dogs. She has been watching my dogs for several years now. I can always rely on her short notice and she is always available for advise when my pet is sick or not behaving. Her house is set up very well for our fur babies and all of my pups love going to her place for stays. I am a first responder and can always count on her if something happens to me she will take care of my babies. There is no doubt in my mind she will take good care of your fur babies. Plus, she is great to work with in general. She has a good heart and is extremely compassionate and genuinely cares for both you and your fur baby. I am excited for all of you who are reading this review and going to have her care for your babies. She will do a great job.
I rarely write reviews online but I cannot say enough good things about Val and her kennel. Val does an amazing job creating a fun space for dogs to exercise and feel at home. I always feel confident leaving my pup, and he always comes home clean and tired! If you are looking for a dependable, professional, and local kennel service, Val and Able Pet Services is simply the best around.
I've been working with Val and Able Pet services for a few years. I know my dogs and cats are in good hands whether they're staying at our house while we're out of town or our young dog is over at doggy daycare playing. I would, and do, highly recommend Val and her services.
Val is very trustworthy and communicates amazing. My dogs are well taken care of, keep safe, and have the best time hanging with their furry friends. They spend a lot of time with Val, and are always ready to go back!
Able Pet Services honestly deserves 10 stars! I had a difficult time finding a daycare the met my dogs needs so I was pleased to have a referral from a gentleman i met at the dog park. Most daycares are overly crowded or not large enough to accommodate my energetic lab. Able Pet Services provides an environment in which my dog can burn off her energy, play with other dogs, be outside in the sunshine (weather permitting) and receive personalized attention. I receive photos and videos throughout the day detailing my dog's day. The owner Valerie is very flexible and laid back and you can tell she loves what she does. Able Pet Services will be my go-to for daycare and boarding moving forward. Thank you Valerie!
Boarding our dogs at Val’s makes everything so easy!! Our pups love going to see her!! She does such an amazing job of making them feel at home and safe when we are away. If we ever have a concern, she is easy to contact. Best dog boarding in Washington!!
Rachel and her folks are amazing! My dog absolutely loves going to visit Rachel whether it’s a long weekend or a 2-week trip I have to be away for. He gets excellent care and I just love how well he is taken care of while I’m away. Rachel is the best!!!
Absolutely love 3dogsplash! Rachel and her team have done a great job every time, whether it is a short weekend away or a longer trip. Our dogs were well cared for, the house is spotless, and peace of mind is priceless! Thank you, cannot recommend enough. By the way, we have 2 sometimes challenging bulldogs, and the staff at 3dogsplash have done a great job with them!!!
3dog splash is amazing! I travel quite a bit. I have one dog that was born without eyes another dog that is very emotionally needy and two cats. I would not trust my animals to anyone else, they do an incredible job and I trust them completely. My animals very quickly bonded to these lovely dog sitters. It used to be such a huge hassle, trying to find family members that could take the time to help me out, but now I don’t have to do that anymore. HIGHLY recommend
We can’t recommend Rachel and 3DogSplash enough! Our pup always comes back tired and happy. We get regular updates and pictures and are able to enjoy our trips knowing our fur baby is in great care! It truly makes a difference when you can see someone is passionate about caring for animals and not just doing it as a job. Also, our dog gets to go on walks which was very important for us. He’s only 9 pounds but loves to go on at least 2 walks a day. We found that many other dog sitters don’t take the dogs on walks.
Our senior dog, Gunner loves his visits to 3 Dog splash! He doesn’t look back as he heads in to meet up with his canine buddies and to be spoiled by Rachel! We are definitely happy to have found this place!
When you have a fur baby that is very needy, 3 Dog Splash is the place to go. Rachel is excellent at communication, which eased my anxiety. My dog came back came back looking better and smelling better. Rachel cared my dog like her own. Rachel gave my dog almost same environment that she normally lives. I absolutely recommend 3 Dog Splash!!
I cannot recommend 3DogSplash enough! Rachel is an absolute gem and took care of our dog Hudson with so much love and attention. From the moment we met her, she put us at ease with her friendly and professional demeanor. Throughout Hudson's stay with her, she provided regular updates and photos, which helped ease any worries we had about leaving our furry family member behind. If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable dog sitter, look no further than 3DogSplash. She exceeded our expectations in every way and we will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you so much, Rachel, for taking such great care of our Hudson.
I had the best experience with Rachel and 3 Dog Splash. Not only is she highly trustworthy with great communication, but she has been a dog lover, owner, and foster dogmom for years so she is well versed with many different types of dogs. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your animal is taken care of. I will definitely continue to use her services and recommend you give her a try as well!
Exceeded Expectations in Every Way I have a severely afflicted dog - separation anxiety - from birth, but compounded during the COVID years when I began working full time from home. A year ago April, I knew I would have to travel out of state for a week - something my dog, Mordecai had never experienced in his 6 years of life with me. I had moved to Bonney Lake and was in search of a dog sitter who would be willing to stay with Mordecai at my house if needed for the week - as he generally does not board well in a kennel setting for even a few hours. By way of our community Facebook group, I found Rachel and 3 Dog Splash. From the initial meet and greet at my home, where Rachel came prepared with a mountain of paperwork (vet authorizations, locksmith releases, apartment notification releases, CPR certifications, and on and on), I knew I had found a truly professional company. Mordecai isn't a dog that warms up to people quickly (even dog people). He was calm and attentive in Rachel's presence from the start. Rachel worked with Mordecai for a full year - walking him several times a month, having him at her facility for play dates with her dogs, taking him out on hikes - to prepare him for my trip and prove she was just "one of the family". She took the time to learn his signs, eccentricities (of which there are MANY), and stress points. While I was away this past week, Rachel checked in with me multiple times each day with reports, pics, and videos to let me know what and how Mordecai was doing. A few days after I left, when he realized this was not just another day outing, he settled right in and was stress-free and tail wagging until I returned. I cannot express enough my gratitude for Rachel and her team in their efforts with Mordecai to make this trip happen. I was traveling for a family remembrance service (my Mom's) and was already overloaded with details and emotions. Though I had prepared a Plan B to return home early if Mordecai needed me to (he's a hunger-striker and won't drink water when stressed), I knew by day two that he would be just fine for the full week until my return. Of course our dogs would always prefer us to be with them, but knowing Mordecai was safe, cared for as I would care for him, and loved as much was the very next best thing. Cannot recommend 3 Dog Splash highly enough!
She was so great to work with! While we were gone over Christmas we needed someone to give our dogs and cat attention. She walked the dogs, scooped the litter, checked our mail, turned off and on different lights in the house, and gave our animals as much attention as they wanted! She also sent pics almost daily for my peace of mind. I recommend her to anyone I meet! She was fabulous!
Excellent care and service. Ceyzanne treats my pet, Murphy, as her own. When he sees her, his eyes light up. She works with him as they walk and I simply appreciate the personal touch and care.
We are relatively new to Facilitating Fido and already feel like our Frenchie is part of their family. She looks forward to her days at 'Fido's" and comes home happily exhausted from a day of play. As working Dog-Parents we look forward to the photos that Ceyzanne posts on Facebook and will send in a text. I know that takes extra effort for her but makes us so happy. A perfect spot for dogs of all sizes - just look at all the smiling photos - they all love it at Fidos!
Ceyzanne is THEE BEST and My fur baby loves her. She’s so patient, kind and involved. My fur baby moves but he always came home happy and exhausted. Ceyzanne takes photos during the day and sends them so you can see how much fun your baby is having. I highly recommend Ceyzanne, hands down!
We cannot say enough good things about this place. Ceyzanne is incredible with our dog and all the other pups who come here. The dogs are so well taken care of, get plenty of play, and even get photo shoots around holidays. Ceyzanne is friendly, super helpful, always sending photo updates of our dog and more accommodating than any other dog daycare and boarder we have ever had. You can stop searching for the best place for your dog, you found it.
Cezanne takes great care of our pups, Daisy and Rola. She is really flexible and has taken them for boarding on short notice when we have needed it. When they are at Facilitating Fido, our dogs spend their days playing with their friends and are treated like part of the family. This is not a kennel style boarding facility. We also use Facilitating Fido’s dog walking service. Our dog walker, Samantha is fantastic too. Our dogs definitely see Facilitating Fido as their second home!
I have been taking my dogs to Ceyzanne at Facilitating Fido for over 2 years now. Both of my dogs started there at about 4 months of age. I am "that" dog mom who is obsessed with her fur babies and I don't trust many people to care for my kids. I can say I trust Ceyzanne with their lives. She has shown so many times how devoted she is to these pups. She plays with them, trains them, bathes them. She cares for them like she does her own pack. We get photo updates daily which is amazing when you are having a tough day to get these photos and to see how happy they are. She has cared for my dogs while they have been injured and even after the had surgery to be spayed/neutered. My pup Bruiser recently had a foot injury and she made special accommodations to ensure he was comfortable and still had social interaction while I was at work. She also changed his bandaged and administered his medication. We also get spoiled with holiday photo sessions and free baths on their birthdays. Her hours and fees are unmatched! If you are looking for an awesome doggy daycare then I highly recommend checking Facilitating Fido out.
I have been taking my German Shepherd to Facilitating Fido for over 5 years now and my little Frenchie makes appearances from time to time as well. I cannot say enough good things. These dogs mean the world to me and having a safe space where I know they are well taken care of means everything. I work long hours and love that they can go and run out their energy, I swear my Shepherd likes it there better than home lol. The photos throughout the day are always fun to receive and the holiday photos are my absolute favorite. If you want a safe reliable doggie daycare for your pup I highly recommend Facilitating Fido.
Facilitating Fido is the best in the business. My little guy is always excited to go see his friends for overnight stays and day visits. Ceyzanne treats each pup like they are her own and makes them feel like family. I can't think of a better people, or a better place, to leave my pup.
I have been taking my dog to Ceyzanne for nearly two years now. Each time we approach the neighborhood she is located in, he starts getting excited so that tells me that he looks forward to his playtime there & fun with his furry friends. She posts pictures on social media daily so we can see our fur babies doing their thing & getting themselves tired for the end of the day. My doggy has been there probably a hundred or so times & I have never had any issues. If there is anyone in the Puyallup area looking for a trustworthy & caring person to take good care of their fur babies for the day or an extended period of time, I highly recommend Ceyzanne/Facilitating Fido.
Beware that the owner will lead you on and say she will absolutely board your dog, but back out on you last second. We needed to board our 5 1/2 month old Siberian husky so we booked here about a month ahead of time. She said she takes puppies and said the breed was fine. We did a meet and greet 3 days before we were set to go out of town and she said she wouldn’t take our dog because he was a high energy puppy and might knock down her young small daughter. She should have just told us in the beginning that she didn’t take large breed puppies or dogs if they have high energy. It seems she really only takes small dogs, which is fine, but she should have communicated that from the get go instead of leading us on and canceling on us 3 days before our vacation. Very unprofessional.
I started taking my 2 Bulldogs to ComfortaBull Dog Care a couple of years ago when my youngest Bulldog Chunk was going through Chemo & my oldest dog Chewie was going through his IMHA treatments. I have taken my dogs to other kennels and they did not like it and neither did I. So, I was so happy to find out about a Bully breed only boarding place close to my home that was in a home. I immediately felt at ease with Janet and could tell that she truly loves bulldogs as much as I do! She even took my Chunk to one of his oncologist appointments and gave both my boys their meds that they needed while they were fighting their diseases. Unfortunately, Chunk lost his battle with cancer last year, but he loved Janet and her daughters. I felt relieved when I had to leave my boys at ComfortaBull dog care knowing that they would be around other bully breeds and in a comfortable home setting. If you have a bully breed don't hesitate boarding them here where they will be treated like part of the family. <3
When you're happy to drive from North of Seattle to ComfortaBULL's southern location for boarding, you know it's because there's no other place you trust more with your bully's wellbeing and safety. Rocky is so loved and well cared for at Janet's. He loves being there, and we joke (but also maybe a little serious?) that he mopes when he comes back home. Your four legged family member is in the best of care with Janet and her loving family!
Hands down the best boarding for our English Bulldog. He is loved and spoiled and loved some more. Janet follows all your dogs necessary routine and adds her magic touch with daily messages to know your fur baby is doing well. My dog loves going and Janet's girls make the experience extra special. Definitely a homey experience. The girls even know our dog out and about, Maximus knows them too!
"The fact that my dogs look forward to going there and are always excited. I never feel uncomfortable leaving them. They're well taken care of and I get daily pictures or videos and updates - it's calming." - Husband, who often worries, when asked what he likes the most about ComfortaBull. As for myself, I'm not saying I am a helicopter dog mom, but I wouldn't deny it. Our dogs likely live better qualities of life than a majority of America's youth and they receive the same treatment when away at "Camp" (Janet's). I am not exaggerating when I say our female is depressed the week following pick up - they absolutely love their time with Janet and her family. We don't have kids around often, so our dogs love the extra attention and snuggles, and selfishly I love the exposure for them. We found Janet through a social media friend in the bulldog community. I knew as soon as our meet and greet was over that our pups would be in the right hands. My husband and I were leaving for a lengthier trip abroad and once he met Janet when we dropped off the dogs, he breathed the biggest sigh of relief. Not saying he loves the dogs more than he loves me, but I am not saying he doesn't. All in all, ComfortaBULL DOG Care is an asset to the bulldog community and our bebe's forever second home. We will follow Janet wherever she goes. LOL Truly, your dog couldn't be in better care while their pawrents are away. - Whitley, Dog Mom of 2 French Bulldogs : 5.5 yo male and 4 yo female with special needs.
Janet and family are AMAZING!!!!! From taking care of our Frenchie Olive during a long out of country vacation to all the monthly get togethers to meet other bulldog owners they are the best!! I could not recommend them more!!!! Love you guys!!!!
Hi, this is Maximus Steel Blu. You can call me Max. I’m a big tri merle blue english bulldog. I love to go see Janet and her hubby and the girls. I follow Janet around the house when I’m there just like I do with my mom. Janet must be a good cook because my nose goes crazy over the smell. I always hope they will share so I sit and watch for just a little taste to drop to the floor. I love that my family takes me to Janet because there are always friends for me to play with. And the girls give me lots of love. When I’m done playing I snuggle on the couch with the adults because I’m also a lap dog. They make me feel at home when I’m not. They even have toys for me. Whenever I do something silly, Janet sends a message to my mom. I’m still a puppy so I’m kinda silly. I make the girls laugh. They even recognized me out at the park the other day and gave me loves. They love me like their own.
Janet and her family take care of my English bulldog rescue pup just like he belongs to them. He's not much into playing with the other pups but he gets to sleep in her daughter's room and wake the kiddo up in the morning. When I picked him up after his last stay there, all of her daughters wanted to give him kisses goodbye and he loved it! Janet and her family have a lovely home and take wonderful care of their visiting bulldogs. It's like leaving them with family! My only regret is that we don't live close enough for my dog to go there for daycare too!
We were SO happy to find comfortabull! We have two French bulldogs who have very different personalities and needs. Janet and her family took AMAZING care of our ladies. Her communication throughout their stay was so helpful and we loved seeing the photos and videos. Their first stay was their longest time away from us, which make us nervous but they did amazing! They came home happy and tired from playing with all their new friends. I cannot recommend Janet enough! We hope to use her in the future!
ComfortaBull Dog Care has been our go to sitter for our two English bulldogs. I was so nervous leaving my Roscoe the first time we went out of town but Janet texted me updates and photos and seeing how much fun he was having and all the love he was getting put me right at ease. Janet knows how to properly care for the bulldog bread. The best part about sending Roscoe and Cuba to ComfortaBull Dog Care is that they are part of Janet’s family. When we go to drop them off they are both excited and know exactly where they are… their “vacation home”. If you are looking for a bully sitter visit @comfortabull on IG to get a glimpse of how much fun the pups have and how loved they are. Janet also does pack walks so the pups can see some of their “stay mates” or make new friends or as mine do, follow Janet around for attention. Janet, we are so glad we found you. Roscoe and Cuba will see you soon! 💙🐶
Janet is the best!!! My dogs love going there for a stay. I feel at ease when I know she is taking care f them. Highly recommend!
The folks at Pet Ponderosa were so helpful in getting me set up for grooming services and a boarding stay. Furthermore, they did a wonderful job with our huskies, and we couldn’t be happier! They also have lots of great treats and enrichment, which is fantastic! Helpful and friendly staff, great setting, and my pups were happy!
I would like to say Thank You to Pet Ponderosa's staff. This is the first time boarding my 2 dogs here and I was worried that my German Shepherd wasn't going to like being here, cause this is the 3rd boarding place he's been to, he did not like the other place at all and they even told me to find another place for him next time. And that's when I found Pet Ponderosa, they did things to make my shepherd feel comfortable enough to let his guard down and he really did enjoy his stay. I feel good about bringing both my dogs back again for boarding. With that being said I got to really enjoy my trip and not worry about my dogs!!
We love Pet Ponderosa! I have dropped my black lab off for boarding stays a number of times and he is always the happiest getting to go. They truly care about the pets that stay with them and giving them all of the pampering and play time. I love that I am able to get him bathed and his nails trimmed before pick up also. You won’t be disappointed bringing your furry friends here!
I’m a very new dog mom and like most pet owners he’s basically my child. I was very nervous leaving him somewhere unknown to get groomed, but it needed to be done. A friend recommended Pet Ponderosa. I called and was greeted by a sweet gal that answered all my questions (I had a lot!) She told me to fill out a pet profile online and call back and she’d get my dog scheduled. It was very easy to fill out the info and she told me I could just bring in his shot records when he came to be groomed. She made me instantly more relaxed about leaving him there to be groomed. When I arrived a few days later, Joe and his dog (that he gets to bring to work-so cool) greeted me with a smile. Joe was very nice and he got me checked in and got the groomer, Addilyn to come talk to me about what I was wanting done as far as grooming. The second I met Addilyn all my worries seemed to fade away, she was very nice and my dog liked her instantly! She let me show her pictures of what type of haircut I was wanting for my Pomeranian and told me that she’d take excellent care of my boy. Just a couple quick hours later and I was called and told he’d be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. Addilyn did an amazing job he looked and felt great! She also took before, during and after pictures for this first time dog mom!! She texted them to me and was again very pleasant and told me she hoped to see us again! I told her you most definitely will! I would completely 100% recommend Pet Ponderosa for your dogs next grooming!
Very helpful! They offer so many options for our dogs. They kept our dogs separate as requested. Our dogs came home happy! Very very friendly! Will definitely be going back for boarding and all our grooming needs.
I have used this facility for many years, and until today, had great experiences navigating issues with communication and services. I dropped off my dog for boarding and grooming services last week, and left detailed information on my trip timeline, including a specific request to have my dog fully groomed on pickup day. I was charged almost 400 dollars for boarding and grooming services. When my dog was brought out, his hair was wet and he had not been groomed at all, just washed. When I made note that the groom hadn’t been completed, I was told it was my fault for not calling, except my wife had called to set up the appointment and specifically asked for grooming services. When I offered that as a response, I was told it was my fault because I hadn’t filled out a piece of paper to explain the groom, except when I dropped my dog off, no one offered me any paper to fill out. I asked multiple times if there were any other issues, I was assured things would be fine. I have literally dropped dogs off here for years and never filled out a paper on grooming details. After attempting to explain that I had done everything I was supposed to do as a customer, the lack of services provided was still not acknowledged, no effort was made to right the mistake, and I was told I was being “entitled” and to find a different groomer. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place over the years. To have a business deny fault on a mistake they made, then repeatedly try to shuffle it onto the customer is just poor practice. Your customers deserve better and you should be ashamed to repeatedly offer excuses and accusation in place of a simple solution and admittance of your mistake. Do better, and thank you for showing me your business doesn’t deserve my patronage.
If you are thinking of leaving your cat at this place, I would recommend to visit them before putting down the deposit. First, there is no separation for each cat although you are paying $33 a day for it. They put all cats, up to 10, into a shared small room. Imagine your cat doesn’t get along with other cats or prefers to have a space of his own especially being in a new environment the first day? Worst of all, they have one open cage and a dark coffin for a special need cats. Yes….you heard it right! It’s a COFFIN the size of 2 x 4 in darkness, no window, no light. How cruel and inhuman is that? After the visit and asking for a deposit back, they refused. If your cat likes to hang out with other cats, this place would be fine but I wouldn’t risk my pet being attacked or getting injured. Absolutely not worth it.
Staff is friendly and helpful & patient with my dog who is terrified of a nail trim! They gave him a cute Christmas hanky, fair prices and lots to offer.
An amazing place to leave your fur babies, I was apprehensive as I had never boarded my boy before but I got daily updates, pictures and videos, was very reassuring. They took care of my boy as if he was their own pet and I cannot recommend this boarding kennel enough!!!!
Pet Ponderosa’s new groomer is a miracle worker. My dog Bear was groomed by Nita for about 10 years and when we had to find a new groomer, no one could groom him. He is very anxious and can be reactive. We heard Pet Ponderosa had a new groomer and she was able to get him fully groomed. We are so grateful.
