Dianne & Kevin were fantastic! Excellent communication to coordinate the housesit timing, pet care, and going over details about the house. I loved receiving pictures of our kitties while traveling. There are not enough gold stars or positive words to describe how awesome Tanis and David were as housesitters! They were so kind and caring about every detail. They left my house spotless and even cleaned up the yard. My dogs were with me for this trip but I am sure they would be amazing with any pets!! I wish they could stay at my home any time I'm away! Anyone will be lucky and grateful to have Tanis and David care for their home! Footloose with an awesome dog
Laurra and Peter did an amazing job. Our 10 year old labradoodle was actually sad to see them leave - she stood at the window as they drove off. The house was very clean and tidy. They even cleaned the inside of my car! We received frequent photos and updates. I would highly recommend both of these kind and competent people and would welcome them back any time!

Tracy and Trevor looked after our cat, Habibi, for 5 days while we were away at a wedding. We met them on a video chat and then in person a few weeks before the sitting date. They are very reliable, friendly and instantly put us at easy leaving Habibi and our house in their care. They watered our outdoor and indoor plants as needed and sent us a few pictures over the weekend of Habibi cuddled up to them and content. When we returned the house was clean, the sheets and towels had been washed and put back on the bed. Nothing for us to do. I would absolutely recommend Tracy and Trevor and hope to use them again in the future.

Ann was wonderful <3. I was not the most organized on this sit and she took everything in stride. We had a last-minute minor health issue with Peekaboo, and Ann carefully applied paw cream three times a day so it was all cleared up when we got home! She left the place super tidy and was so friendly and communicative. We'd be glad to have Ann back any time.

Animal loving couple from New Zealand!
Helena and Andrew took care of our outdoor animals on our farm for just over 2 weeks. They were prompt to respond to messages before the sit and also while we were away. We live in our RV so the house sit was a bit unique but they embraced our alternative lifestyle and we came home to a sparkling clean and tidy RV. All our animals (puppy, kitties, chickens) were healthy and happy when we came home and they received the care they needed while we were away. On the first night there was a crazy wind storm that lifted one of our shelters and Helena and Andrew (with the help of our neighbors) had to put that shelter back together and Andrew went above and beyond and built us a new wooden shelf that had broken in the storm. We are so grateful for Helena and Andrew and that we had the freedom to go away as our property has lots of responsibilities!

Kat and her friend were great sitters who took wonderful care of our dog. With an epileptic dog it can be nerve wracking to have someone new watch her but she sent us regular updates and checked in often! I would recommend doing a video call with them ahead of the sit to ensure you’re on the same page about sit/house rules and guidelines and overall needs for the sit. She’s a great sitter we would definitely recommend!

Emma and David arrived on time and it was clear the dogs felt really comfortable with them from the start. After we left for the airport, Emma sent us a photo of one of the cats rubbing up against David-normally the cats disappear for days when sitters arrive! They were a very friendly couple and the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was that they left pots and pans on the draining board which, because they are Le Crueset, rust at the top and rust the drainer. Cushions on the sofa were not plumped up after use but these are small things and perhaps I should have been clearer on what was expected.

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.

We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands.
