Providing Pet Sitting in the Provincia De Cautin, Chile
Dynamic House-Sitting Duo – Devoted to Your Pets' Happiness
Francisca and Aline were amazing sitters! They followed all the instructions to a T which included feeding Dobby his medication, giving him treats during his walk (as he is reactive towards dogs), and securing cupboard doors in the kitchen. They left the flat impeccably tidy and we couldn’t have been happier to have them dog- and house-sit for us this time!
Providing Pet Sitting in the Provincia De Cautin, Chile
We are Camila and Tiare! Chileans soon in Europe looking for little friends :)
Sadly my experience with Camilla and Tiare was very bad. I have never had a bad experience using the site, so I acted with a lot of trust towards the girls. It was not possible for me to personally meet the sitters beforehand because they arrived after my departure. I therefore agreed with the sitters to lock themselves in and greet the dogs. The dogs are extremely loving towards everyone, so I trusted this process would run smoothly. The communication was not good and I could not get a hold of Camilla on the day of their arrival, making me anxious if the dogs were left alone too long. A few days into the sit I receive complaints from my neighbors about extreme noise. They are aware there is sitters and tell me that since the sitters arrival the dogs have been loud, but that particular day the dogs had been barking all day. This is not normal behavior from my dogs. My dogs can bark if they hear people passing in the building, but barking all day is worrying. I therefore immediately contact Camilla and am super worried. She claims the dogs are not left alone, but bark all day in their presence. The dogs have been with sitters at least once a month the past year and this has never been the case. I therefore know that the dogs are either very mistreated for them to bark in their presence or Camilla is lying about them leaving the dogs. A condition of being able to take the sitting was that I had a mover coming to take a moving load prepared in the kitchen. This was mentioned in the listing and I also made sure to double confirm with Camilla before accepting them as sitters that they read and agreed to this, as it was very important to me that the sitter knew this was a term for agreeing to the sit. Upon the day of the mover's arriving (the day after my neighbors complaining) I planned with my mom to stop by and supervise the mover as well as check on the dog's wellbeing. All of this I of course communicated to Camilla who was aware that my mom would come. The girls did nothing to try and calm my moms worries and closed themselves alone in the bedroom before asking if they could leave for the shop. This means my mom was alone with the 3 dogs when the mover was there. The first thing the dogs did when my mom came in was to pee and poop themselves in front of her. As my mom inspected the apartment there was dry pee and poop everywhere. It was clear that Camilla and Tiare had not walked my dogs, not even before my moms arrival. There was pee and poop from several days and my mom had to clean my apartment. My mom took the dog out for a walk and my dogs had severe diarrhea from likely being fed human food by the sitters. One of the dogs had dried diarrhea all over her backside. My mom was shocked that they would not even try to clean before her arrival or try to speak to her, as the sitters we usually have, have cared so strongly about the wellbeing of my dogs. I immediately contacted the emergency line on Trustenhousesitters and was guided to ask the sitters to leave immediately, which I did. I told the girls that treating my animals this way and leaving my house in such poor and unhygienic state was unacceptable. Camilla later claimed that there was no cleaning products to clean after the dogs. This is simply not true as I have a whole cabinet of cleaning supplies in the kitchen and even hot water and soap could have cleaned the pee and poop. There is also a detailed sitter guide with all this information in. I have put a complaint for Camilla and Tiare to be removed from the platform as I feel like they do not have the health of the animals in mind. They seem very young and probably just use this platform to be able to stay for free on their trip around europe.
Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Meg was a dream pet sitter for my three year old labradoodle. She gave him nice long walks and was very organized, communicative and tidy. I look forward to another opportunity to have Meg in my home!
Leah was an excellent pet sitter and take care of our home when we were on vacation. Our dogs were sad when she left. She even made us some delicious tacos when we got home from the airport! We highly recommend her!
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.
Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. As far as caring for my house - top notch.
