Pet Sitting in Quarryville

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard.  Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him!
Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! 
We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible.

Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie.  Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie.  Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman.

Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company.  She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning.  We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands.

It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals.  When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small.  Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there.  When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door.  I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away.  

We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early.  We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision.  As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time.  As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.  Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle.  BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon.  Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets.  She was a teue blessing.

Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband.  If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of.  We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime.  She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Rebecca was amazing! She is a kind and clear communicator, took loving care of our pets, and left the house in perfect tidy shape. My husband commented, "You can't even tell she was here!" :-) Her calm demeanor, intelligence, humor, and common sense experience as a pet owner made her the ideal sitter for our 7 pets of varying species, ages, personalities, and needs. She managed the pet routine like a pro—including diapers and daily meds for our older dog—and cared for all of our pets as if they were her own. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see.

Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site!

Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well!  They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters.  
      Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters.  They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue.  The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge.
