Professional pet-sitter and nonprofit professional looking to travel more!
Heather was a pleasure to have in my home to care for my two dogs. She was interested in the fine points of their care, food, medicine, sleeping etc, with complete acceptance of their routine. Heather communicated with me daily about her day and her day with the pups, along with adorable photos so I knew what was going on at home. Before leaving, I went over a few household items, such as trash out days, yard clean up after the pups, etc. there was not an issue with following these directions. I travel alot for ski clinics, and there have been prior issues. But not at all with Heather. She was sweet and kind to me and the pups, let me know if there were food issues with the pups, if we were running low, or if one of my pups did not finish his food with medication. Also, Healther took immaculate care of my home. Sheets and towels were washed, kitchen and bathroom were cleaned. I appreciated her level of care, especially arriving home after a long travel day. I was able to come home to a perfect house, along with a thank you note from Heather. Also, Heather left me a de-brief text. Wonderful housesitter!!! I welcome Heather back next ski season....

Boyfriends, aspiring globe trotters, and avid dog lovers
Jonah and Daniel did a fantastic job taking care of Zoe and the house. We really couldn’t have expected any more from them. Daniel even taught Zoe a couple of new commands! Everything was in perfect order upon our return and we are very happy with all aspects of our interaction with them. We would gladly invite them to sit for us again and can’t recommend them highly enough! Thank you Jonah and Daniel!!!

Wesley was a great trusted sitter!! He was very communicative, asked great questions about how to care for my pup, and took Schooner on multiple hikes around Washington! He also took great care of our house and appliances. I would definitely recommend Wes to watch your doggo!

Cindy was great. I had every confidence she could handle any situation that might arise while I was away. Her communications skills are great. Better than mine. The cats seemed very comfortable with her. And she was so flexible in adding on another day for me. I hope she will consider another visit.

Mary was fantastic from start to finish and looked after our elderly dog with love and attention to her needs. She also looked after our home with respect and care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer sitter and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

We are so glad to have found this kennel. We had to leave our dog for an extended trip and upon our return we found our dogs were clean, well cared for and most of all happy. They have a wonderful run outside which the dogs love. When we returned for another weekend stay the dogs were excited to see Larry, the owner as well as his wife and son, with tails wagging. It made us very happy to see that the dogs consider this a "happy place" . The place is neat, clean and tidy. Highly recommend.
Larry treats yor dog like family. Reasonable price a fenced in yard perfect for your fur baby and his needs.Plus he's a vet so support him!;)
Larry will take care of your pet. Boarded there many times.
Very nice owners, with good facilities and take quality care of the animals in their care.
Great kennel for our pup's!
My dog's true home away from home!
Missing fence. Lost a dog for two days. Didn’t tell owner. Doesn’t treat employees right. He made me cry everyday at work. Doesn’t clean the facility. Exposed wiring everywhere. No bathroom door just a curtain. Dogs could get sick from exposed wiring and not cleaning kennels. Broken wire that cut a dog and it’s not fixed. Don’t take your dog here. The groomer abuses dogs. The owner is never there. You have no help or direction. Do not go there stay away
I am beyond thankful to have met Andrew and the staff of Blue Mountain K-9. Jett has received private training here in past years, but my gratitude really comes from recently when my husband and I booked an international trip and had another boarding facility no-show during our designated drop off time. I called Andrew in an emotional panic at 6:30 pm on a Friday and he HAPPILY took all three of our large dogs for a week stay. I cannot say enough good things about Andrew, or this facility. Had it not been for him, we would’ve had to cancel our vacation. This facility is reliable and will treat your pets with the same love that you do.
Took my Shih Tzu Avery to get groomed at Blue Mountain K-9 ❤️. Michaela Hunt did an outstanding job. She was friendly and professional and her love for animals clearly shows. Highly recommended!
Blue Mountain K-9 is a beautiful facility staffed by fantastic trainers. I attended a workshop there and their kindness and hospitality is unmatched, and body of knowledge is priceless. As a professional dog trainer myself, I highly recommend Blue Mountain K-9 for all your dog training needs!
My little Rat Doxie was very content when I got her home. She loved Adam and when I picked her up from a week boarding , she was more happy to see him than me. Lol. So I knew she was well cared for.
Took our rescue here for his first grooming. The lady handled him perfectly, seemed very experienced, and got all the mats out of his fur and ears. It took a little longer than expected, but it seems this place takes the time to let the dog feel comfortable. If your looking for a doggy spaw day, this is it. If you want a quick in-and-out grooming, this is not for you. I will be going here regularly.
Katianne took such good care of all three of my dogs, I'd recommend this place to anyone who asked!
Highly recommend this place! Pets are like children and it can be difficult to trust strangers to take care of them but what anxiety I had went away and I felt like I wasn’t leaving my dog with babysitter’s but with extended family. An added bonus was affordability and I felt they were so great with my dog at daycare that I even decided to do training with them. Ruby has anxiety and leash reactivity due to a bad start in life and she has greatly improved with the help of Andrew and Haleigh! We are sad my travel assignment is over but thanks for all you have done the past few months to go above and beyond in caring for my fur baby! Heather and Ruby
They do a great job with training. Michaela is a kind, pet-loving groomer. She is not at all hesitant to work with large dogs and does a wonderful job with them.
We travel almost 2 hours to board our dogs here! We will go nowhere else! Our dogs are so so happy when we pick them up. We have used their training services too. Andrew made a world of difference with our doodle.
Kooper loved his stay. He is not crated at home and loves other dogs so this style worked perfectly for him. Trisha also rescued us when the other boarding facility fell through last minute!!! We’ll definitely use her services again.
My dog Neo spends 2 days a week at Critter Cabin daycare and is also boarded there when we go away. Neo loves going to Critter Cabin. On the drive there as we get closer Neo gets more and more excited. She comes home tired and happy.
My dog Blizzard has been going to daycare and has been boarded at Critter Cabin periodically for 2 years. He loves being there so much that I never feel badly about leaving him. Trisha expertly pairs dogs so they get along and have fun. She is wonderful and caring. Highly recommend!
Found her thru Google, my normal boarding was already full for Thanksgiving. She accepted them and got me booked. My dogs came back happy and relaxed, slept the whole way home. The kicker is, my normal boarding is just a kennels with potty/play breaks. This place is basically kennel free. And she's barely much more than my normal boarding place. I'll be going here from now on. Thank you for taking care of my handful of dogs!
I recently bordered my bird with Trisha at the critter cabin and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. She goes above and beyond for all of her animals in her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to board their pet.
My aussie Kronk had a wonderful time at the Critter Cabin. He was exhausted after a long weekend of running and playing with the other dogs being housed at the Critter Cabin. I am very pleased with the experience as a whole and will definitely be taking my animals back there anytime I am in need of someone to watch them. I would give them more stars if I was able to.
Just all around great. We were getting ready to leave for vacation and the boarding place we were supposed to go to wasn't answering so I called and explained we were leaving the next day they emailed me the paperwork that night and took her that morning. They came out met us with smiles and the love they showed storm rite away was just so reassuring that she would b OK just an amazing place will always use and recommend to everyone thanx again everyone at critter cabin
Trisha and everyone at the Critter Cabin did a great job looking after my pet for a few days. She followed all the complicated instructions I left, and my pet seemed really content and happy there. 10/10
They absolutely loved on our pup as if it was their own. Sent regular updates as needed since he was having a tummy ache.
My Frank is the happiest boy when we pull up and when I pick him up. Trish is fantastic.
