I was so happy that I found Julianna to dog sit for me. I would 100% recommend her to everyone. She is everything you could ask for in a dog sitter. She asked the right questions so that she could be prepared and overall put me at ease throughout my vacation. She is also very pleasant and easy to talk to! She is clearly experienced with dogs. My dog took a liking to her the moment she walked in. She fed him on time, spent ample time with him (he is a small, needy yorkiepoo), and even took him to the office. She sent us daily updates on the situation at home and it was clear from the pictures that my dog was having a good time. She was quick to respond when I contacted her while I was on vacation. She even cleaned the apartment before she left. My dog was happy and healthy when I got back. I would definitely use her again!

Michael and Faye were absolutely fantastic guests and took wonderful care of Whiskey and our home. Dan and his partner Martha were great dog sitters for my pup Rooney. They came with their super sweet pup Keepher, who quickly became best buds with Rooney. They were flexible coming and going which was super helpful with travel delays. They were communicative while I was away and left the place clean and tidy. After spending a few hrs with them in the beginning, I felt super comfortable leaving, knowing they could handle anything and were responsible pet owners themselves. This piece in particular was super helpful for me. I knew they would care for my dog as well or better since they had their dog with them... I would totally recommend them (including Keepher) to sit for anyone !

Jane and Ed were fantastic pet & house sitters. I couldn't have been more pleased! I got regular updates and photos on all the pets, etc. My cat needed daily meds which they had no problem doing. And my highly energetic large lab was well exercised and happy. I highly recommend them. I hope to have them back another time!!

Kate was an AMAZING cat sitter, and a wonderful house sitter! She took excellent care of our two cats while we traveled overseas for a month. She really understands cats' ways and needs and went above and beyond in making sure they were safe, happy and stress-free in our absence. honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.

I couldn't have found a better boarding place for my Jacky...last minute on my part could've been a big problem. Wedding at Mountain top...last minute boosters which I would've blown had I not been informed...thanks again for that. Jacky can be nippy , with strangers...assertive that he's actually the big dog in the room though only 15 lbs. When I returned to pick him up....he was playing with others and loving his caretaker. You be hard pressed to find better . Thanks again...Doggy daycare school comes to mind.
Tara has been taking care of my dogs when I go on vacation for several years. My dogs love it there.They start whining when I pull in her driveway and can’t wait to get out of the car! Tara is so good with them. She gives them lots of love and attention and makes sure their needs are more than met. They are often tired out when they get home! I highly recommend The Boarding Spot to anyone looking for dog boarding.
We feel so comfortable leaving our dog with Tara at the Boarding Spot! We enjoy seeing posts on facebook of him playing or relaxing with the other dogs, and Tara gives us updates as to how he's doing. He's an older dog, and it's very reassuring to us to know he's happy and well-cared for.
My pups stayed at the Boarding Spot a couple weeks ago. Tara did a pre stay meet & greet for us as 1 dog has Addison’s Disease. Tara put me st ease asking appropriate questions and both my dogs loved her. Tara sent me daily pics of them and an update. They looked very happy. They came home happy and tired. I've used other boarders in the past, but this place is by far the best with the unique home based care where she gets to play with other dogs. My dog is the white dog with beige stripes. She seems to be loving it there so much I don't even think she misses me. Also,the owner Tara will bend over backwards for you and,blind a Saint, actually picked up. my dog for me when I was unexpectedly hospitalized and couldn't drop my dog off for boarding. I don't think I'd ever board my dog anywhere else again.

It is difficult to find a place to board Woody since he doesn't adjust to new situations; however, he feels right at home with Tara and The Boarding Spot. It is a great fit!
We just found The Boarding Spot as a convenient place to board our three dogs as we handled moving to the Rutland area, and Tara turned out to be quite the lucky find. She was great with our pups, and they have such a good time there. It's good to know we don't have to worry about what to do with them if/when we go out of town in the future.
