Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.

Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

We could never say enough amazing things about Crystal and how devoted she is to our pup. We found her right as we adopted our husky as new puppy and she has been able to be with him and watch him grow for the past two years now. Our pup loves her just as much as we do! Crystal always goes above and beyond to make sure that our dog, our home, our privacy, and our things are treated with care and respect. She has so many times stayed longer with our dog than necessary in the event that he had an accident, got sick, or something out of the ordinary happened. She is in CONSTANT communication with us and gives really excellent visual reports on how her time with your pet has gone. She even does little things like bringing in mail and sending us homemade treats (which our dog LOVES). She will treat your pet and your home like her own. We don't know what we would do without her!
Crystal takes extra time with my Great Dane and his guard dog instincts. She is patient while he warms up, and has him sitting in her lap by the end of every visit! She just knows animals. I never worry when we leave our boy with her. She’s professional, responsive, and flexible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our boy!

We had a wonderful experience using Your Pet AuPair for our wedding. Nicole was so flexible and responsive throughout the whole process. She came out to meet our dogs beforehand which put me at ease. She took great care of our pups and got them to our venue for pictures with all their wedding attire, and then safely back home and settled in. It was one of the highlights of our day seeing them and we were able to get pictures that we will cherish forever. She even got a picture of us with the dogs! I highly recommend.

Jessica and her team are wonderful. We’ve availed of their service several times and we’re always satisfied every time. Shout out to Cheryl- she is amazing! Even though we have an anxious cat, she would try to still play with him and even checks on him under the bed or night stand where he hides when she comes. She would keep on trying and that warms my heart because Fredrik is scared, anxious and was traumatized when we adopted him so he doesn’t do well with other animals and other people. Cheryl would just keep her distance at the same time let him know she’s just there in case he wants to play. It makes me and my husband happy that we have wonderful people taking care of Fredrik while we are away. They send updates daily with pictures. 100% highly recommend Whittington Pet Sitting if you are in Harford County.

We loved our experience with Whittington! Our pets were loved and cared for. You get photos of your pets each day they visit as well as updates. You can request additional visits if you feel it is necessary. This was so much easier than wrangling our cats into carriers and boarding them and way less stressful for our cats.

We were very satisfied with our services and the daily communication while Jessica and her team cat sat for us. Our cat received attention, playtime, and pets but her personal space was also respected. We loved the pictures that were sent to us. I cannot say enough good things about them. We have a very fearful dog and they’ve shown absolute expertise in working within his boundaries. After each visit, I get a message with photos and an easy to read visual to know which dog peed/poo’d, drank/ate and it’s so lovely seeing them happy and in good hands. I love that we can ask them to come 4 days a week if my husband is traveling or as little as 1-2x/month on long days. It’s so nice that they try and give consistency in who comes, but honestly I’d trust anyone Jessica Whittington has trained.
We had an excellent experience with Whittington Pet Sitting. One of our cats was newly put on twice daily medication right before we had a week-long trip scheduled, and we realized we needed professionals to step in. Jessica was very responsive, getting back to me the next day, and came out for an introductory meeting within a few days of our first contact. This is probably the most convenient doggie daycare around. Whether you need daycare for a half day, full day, or even boarding, they make it very easy to set things up. I added a premium bath and received my dog feeling loved, super clean, and you can tell he had a great day. Great customer service, and you get report cards that help you know how your pet did. Highly recommended.
Catalina Chao worked with our little puppy, Piper! She was just 6 months when we started and I saw an immediate improvement in behavior! She helped my husband to learn that training is about providing a safe environment for our dog, not about aggressive control over her! She gave us great hands on help and support! Plus her explanations for how to do things and process was very helpful for us since we both have ADHD! We can’t wait to bring her back for a check-in/refresh!
My girl loves it here! I was worried about where to keep her for our vacation. She is just a puppy so has a lot of energy. A friend referred us here & he was absolutely right. She absolutely loves Best Friends Furever, Joppa. On her first day, she made new friends instantly. She gets to play & swim all day (she loves the puppy pools). We are currently boarding her there for a 5 night vacation & I check her new pictures out they upload daily. It makes me feel good to know she is in good hands. The staff is great & so welcoming as well.
We brought our adopted puppy Penny here for the elite training program because, frankly, she was a handful -- a husky, shepherd, bull terrier mix at 12 months old and 45 lbs. However, Catalina was up to the task! She accomplished so much in her 9 weeks that we could not have done at home having our 2-year old and our other commitments. Catalina provided the steady hand and consistency that dogs need in these first two years. I never saw her lose her cool or get frustrated with Penny, nor have I seen the other staff ever say an unkind work about a dog, whether visiting, training or boarding. We loved having the live feed during the day to see what was happening, and the training video report cards were a great help. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and so were all of the handlers. The in-house grooming services are excellent, too. We will continue to bring Penny here for play dates throughout the year. I gave them a 5-star rating, not because they are perfect but because you will not find a more caring group of people and well organized team than this Joppa BFFE location.
I have had a great experience so far with our 3-month old puppy, Charlie, attending full day daycare at the Joppa location. I was super nervous because I wasn't sure how he would react or how other dogs would react to him or how well he would be taken care of. The handlers are awesome and well trained to keep a safe and fun environment.This week starts week two and we plan on continuing with 2-3 days a week for him to attend. I love that you can watch them all play on the cameras during the day (although Teeny Field 1's camera is super blurry....Teeny Field 2's camera is perfect). The staff are super friendly, all around, and show Charlie all of the love. The hours for drop off and pick up are great (although a 7pm pick up during the week would be better because I work in PA but that's just my personal wish...the hours in general are great for the majority of folks and that's all that matters so I will make it work!) I plan on expanding our services at BFFE to include boarding, training and grooming in addition to daycare. Thanks for all you do to keep our dogs safe and happy as well as exhausted when they get home!
We love best friends fur ever! My dog Ellie has a blast at daycare, and boarding when we travel! The staff is very knowledgeable and loving towards all the dogs! We trust them with our baby and know she will be taken care of and have so much fun! Bff gives us peace of mind and we love the pictures and report cards they send!
This is the first time I’ve taken my dog to a day care and she loved it! The early drop off hours are awesome! I loved being able to watch her on camera during the day and they even uploaded pics to her profile. Great care for my girl!
I had the pleasure of working with Catalina at B.F.F.E and I would do it again with my next dog! Catalina was so knowledgeable, hard-working, and helpful throughout the entire journey. She made it fun and built an amazing bond with my dog. As time progressed my bond with my dog grew as well and I love it! I can’t thank Catalina enough for setting my dog up for a future of success and more freedom. She even went above and beyond tackling extra tasks like “drop it/ leave it” and “emergency recall” since my dog was struggling with them the most. I really appreciate the extra hard work she has taken to help us. Also, it has been such a pleasure seeing all of the staff that has helped my dog and I day in and day out! The staff has been so friendly and respectful to work with as well. My dog can’t wait to go to “doggy school” to see her “friends” every school day! Loved loved LOVED taking my puppy Eloise here for her 2-week training. She trained with Catalina & I saw such amazing improvement just in those two weeks. Great staff, play areas, and much more. During her training program, I not once had an issue/hiccup in the process. Highly recommend for your puppy or older dogs!
We came in with our roughly one year old dog who was very dog reactive. We could barely take him on walks. In the 9 weeks of the elite program, he no longer has a bad reaction to dogs, he has mastered sit and stay, and he has enjoyed going to “school” everyday. His recall has gotten incredibly good as well. The entire staff was so attentive and diligent to Radar’s care. We are so grateful to Catalina for helping our boy be the good dog that was always in him.

Barton Manor is the only place we will leave our dog, Charlie. After poor experiences with boarding at other venues (Charlie being placed in "timeout" and left in a crate for most of the day, UTI's or some other illness when we bring him home, etc.), Barton Manor's staff provides Charlie with the same love and attention that he would get at home. He's always excited when we get to Barton Manor and practically runs to the door to be let inside. Management is also incredibly flexible with pickup/drop off and understanding when plans change. We recently welcomed our first child into the world and Barton Manor allowed us to cancel/move our boarding appointment without any issues as well as pickup during off-hours due to unforeseen circumstances. Truly amazing ownership, staff, and care for your pet.

Used this place last summer it was our first time ever boarding our dog Zoey. Picked this place due to all the good reviews an we are glad we did. She did great. Have no complaints an will deff use them again if needed. But we don't ever need to board it's super rare. But when we do will be giving them a call.
We have boarded our dog at Barton Manor since 2014, and we could not be more thrilled by the Barton Family and the care our dog receives while staying with them. They are some of the kindest people. They treat our dog (and us!) like a member of their family. Their facilities are superior, and they are constantly making small improvements that only enhance the incredible care our dog receives (like constant temperature monitoring of the kennel spaces and a community play area). I trust them with our pup implicitly. Highly recommend!

We had never adopted before and were not sure what to expect. But we were so happy we went here. The photos of the cats on line were up to date. They had so many great pictures on line that really helped us. We saw a fur baby that looked exactly like our last kitty and we had to go see her. All volunteers here so they accommodated us coming there to see the kittens. I can't believe they all volunteer their time so selflessly. They allowed us to stay as long as we liked. All the cats play and are in a safe friendly, fun environment. We fell in love with our new cat and her sister!! So we applied for both. They answered our questions and asked a lot of questions to make sure the cats were going to a good home, which I respect. They had to call our vet for records and stuff. I think including the weekend we had the cats in 4-5 days. I thought the facility was really cool. It was HUGE. They love and take care of so many different animals there. We wish we could have taken in more cats. There were two other cats that really wanted us to take them home. So many were sooooo cute. Please go adopt these cats. They need loving homes. Thank you Luna House. These sister cats will be very loved and went to a great house. We appreciated everyone there that helped us. We would highly recommend Luna House for adoption of animals.
My boyfriend and I adopted a little lop bunny female from Luna's House to bond with our male bunny. We had tried 3 different bunnies from a different shelter and were forced to return all of them because our boy would not bond with them. At Luna's House, Lisa not only sat with us and personally made sure we had a good match before adopting but also answered many emails from me when the bonding was not going perfectly. When we were concerned things were going south, she even took both bunnies in and bonded them for us! Our bunnies are still with her being bonded but they have made so much more progress with her than we could have hoped. Luna's House has gone above and beyond in making sure our little bun has a partner and we're thrilled we adopted from here. We're so excited to bring both our bunnies home and give our new little lady a forever home <3.
We boarded our cat at Moondrop Inn at Luna's house and I am so grateful for the amazing care he received. He was hesitant to eat so they sat with him so he was comfortable during meal time. He was getting over an ear infection and they watched him closely so he got care if he needed it. It was such a blessing to know our kitty was cared for while we were on vacation.
First time boarding and all was good when we pick up Belle, she seemed happy and healthy and we would definitely use them again
This review is to clear up any negativity on the part of the post by Beeples. I’m a long time volunteer of LH and on the dog team. I was there when the incident she is referring to happened. First, I encourage you to view the videos on the Lunas House FB page which will show she is not telling the truth. I can also attest to the fact she was NOT shamed because of her disability in anyway. She was given sound advice on how to keep her puppy safe from these situations with proper training. Everyone was shaken up and scared over the incident, but she was treated with respect and I can not say the same for her responses. She and her son continually called the puppy bad for acting like an untrained puppy. I am worried about this dog in her continual care as she doesn’t realize he’s not the problem, however, his lack of training is definitely the issue.
Super friendly and helpful staff. They all clearly love what they do here. We adopted our three fur babies from here. They were clearly all loved and well cared for. The building is clean and well kept. They also have some dog, cat, and small animal products to get you started with your new family member. Luna's House also offers nail trimmings on Sundays by appointment with a veterinary technician
Wonderful little animal rescue just off of Rt. 40 in Edgewood. They care for birds, cats, small mammals, dogs, and more! Community events and animal education are some of their biggest contributions beyond saving the lives of so many animals. Terrific people and darling potential pets!
Dropped off my Guinea pig here for our vacation and he probably had a good time here.
This place is amazing! From the moment we reached out to them to the moment we adopted our pet it was an incredible experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and truly cares about the pets in their care. We came a long way to adopt and it was well worth it. I highly recommend Luna's House!
I adopted my dog Harry from Luna's House in 2011. The adoption process was very thorough as they want to make sure the dog and prospective owner are a good fit. I also board Harry there and my experiences have always been positive. The volunteers are well trained, the owners are personable and extremely dedicated to their cause and the volunteers are very conscious of Harry's feedings and dislike of being crated. For those who were dissatisfied with their initial contact with the organization, I really hope you give them another chance😀.
