We feel SO lucky to have found Kristin!!! She was so kind to sit for us very last minute as the other person we got on zeewoi fell through. She was extremely flexible to come the night that she landed from an international flight and stay the night before we left and even dropped us off at the airport in the morning. She is incredibly self sufficient and was even able to fix an issue that our automated litter box had. That being said, she was great about sending updates with pictures so we felt very at ease for the week we were gone. Our babies are not the easiest to take of sometimes but she never complained and they seemed to have a great time with her!! The cherry on top of everything was how clean she left our house including cleaning the sheets, towels and blankets. It was above and beyond what we expect from any pet sitter and made it so nice that we found our house exactly how we left it, if not cleaner. There is so much more I could say about how kind and detailed she is, just overall a fantastic person and we would love to have Kristin back anytime!! If you get her as an applicant, definitely make sure you secure her as your sitter!

Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Caroline and her team provide A+ care and offer the schedule flexibility that is difficult to find elsewhere. Our dogs always come home tired and happy! Great experience! Caroline is amazing, she seems very aware of all of the dog’s behaviors and will put the effort into making them as comfortable as possible. My girl is very anxious but I felt at ease with her in Caroline’s care and felt even more comfortable being able to see how she was with her and the other dogs there through the live cameras. This was my first time using a dog daycare/boarding so I can’t compare, but it’s a very clean place and the staff is very quick to clean up any messes!
I trust no boarder or daycare the way I trust Pets BnB. Caroline is truly passionate about dogs. Her time and commitment to the happiness, health, and care of my dog is unparalleled. The facilities are clean, you can purchase treats and toys, there are themed weeks/days with fun activities, and you can customize your dog’s experience. My dog gets so incredibly excited to come here and darts right to her door. If that’s not a sign about her comfort and happiness here, I don’t know what possibly could be! A great place for your pet! My dog enjoyed his stay here. The people are incredibly friendly and responsible and took a great care of my dog. They give access to ring, so that you can see what your dog is doing through a live camera. The deluxe suite was very comfortable and made my dog feel like home.
I couldn’t recommend Upstate PetBNB enough! We recently got our first puppy and we treat him like he is truly our child. When looking for a doggy daycare, we were so particular. Caroline has so much passion for what she does and runs the daycare so well. There are always tons of activities for the pups throughout the month that you can choose to participate in (bubble parties, arts and crafts, etc). Another amazing perk is being able to access the cameras to check in throughout the day and watch the dogs! It is so nice having peace of mind that my dog Hudson is being taken care of while I am at work. He absolutely loves Caroline and all of the employees that work there. My favorite part of the day is dropping Hudson off and seeing how excited he is to run in and play with his friends!
Upstate Pet BnB is amazing! We have 3 dogs and they love when they get to go for the day or even overnight. Caroline is AMAZING with our dogs and we immediately felt at home with her and so did our dogs. This is the first boarding experience we've had where our dogs actually ran back to the play room to stay longer. ❤️

I’ve moved from Louisiana and today was my dog second visit I was a lil nervous at first because he NEVER been around any other dogs and his first day he was scared to go inside kept running back to the car. and today let’s just say he couldn’t wait to go inside to the point soon as I put the car in park he jumped from the back seat into the front and walked in with no care in the world he just knew he was in great hands. And they did an AWESOME job with his grooming!

Libby had a great time at Ardvark, while my husband and I had a little weekend away in Saratoga springs. Tara was so great to our little pup and we got great updates with pics and text so I didn't have to worry about her. We will definitely use ardvark again!

Dogwood lodge took our dog, Doobie, with short notice due to sudden death in family. This was appreciated by us. Our dog is reactive and Dogwood Lodge knew and accepted him. We were very nervous with our furry child because we always boarded in someone’s home or family. He enjoyed his 30 minute romp in yard. He was very happy to see us and liked Alison. This is surprising since he normally only likes us. Happy and resting on “His” bed he lets us share.
Dogwood Pet Lodge is the only place I leave my senior dog. Allison and Joe truly treat him like one of their own. On our last stay, Allison was able to trim the matted fur around his mouth that even the groomer is unable to touch. She truly is the “dog whisperer” and has a magic touch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We boarded our nearly 12 year old little Jack Russell there for 5 days. She was pampered by Allison in the VIP room while we enjoyed a trip into the city. I highly recommend paying for the upgrade to get photos sent to you. We loved watching Olivia play in the yard and see that she was comfortable and resting well. Allison truly cares about all of the animals there. She is kind and professional. Overall an excellent experience and hopefully we'll be back next year!
Great experience! From the very first communication with Allison I had a sense of her attention to detail, safety and the general well being of all of the pets in her care. She offered a full tour of the facility, asked questions to discover any special needs or concerns for my dog, and provided documentation for her policies and procedures. I was required to sign off acknowledgement, which I was happy to do. She was very clear that she had policies that were rigid, but in place for the right reasons-my pet’s successful stay. I have a rescue who did not have a good early life, and because of her abuse, she is fearful of people and situations and her reaction is not always predictable. The facility, which is double fenced, and the fact that there was regular processes for supervision, feeding and even cuddle time, put me at ease. During my dog’s stay, I got an update and even some nice pics of her at play and cuddling (see below-she didn’t miss me much!). When I picked my dog up after a week long visit, it was obvious that she was comfortable and happy at Dogwood and had made a new friend in Allison. Once home, we didn’t have any re entry issues. My dog was healthy, happy and slipped right back into our normal routine.
This lodge is cozy and casual. The owners are so kind and very good with animals. They took care of my 2 kitties for 4 days, and I brought my babies home safe, happy, clean and calm. I will definitely go here any time I need to trust someone to care for my sweet fur friends! ❤ thank you for taking such good care of them.
Took a vacation for the first time in 8 years and one of the major concerns was a great place to leave my dog. It was over the Christmas Holiday and The Dogwood Pet Lodge was the place to go and so glad I did! Paid for the one on one walks and playtime which was so worth it. Then I opted for the daily pictures and being away, it made the whole difference in my vacation. Then prior to picking her up I was told she was just finishing her bath! No need to go anywhere else!!
I felt absolutely comfortable and happy leaving my dogs here for daycare a few times a week during long work days. The owners really love animals and I could tell that my pups were well cared for! They accommodated me last minute and were incredibly helpful. If I wasn’t moving out of state I would take my pups there every week! Thank you!!
The personal attention our pets receive at Dogwood for overnight stays can't be beat. They are great a taking photos of our pups and sending us daily emails and FB posts. Our pups love going there. Plus, the groomer is great too.

Compassionate, thoughtful care for your pooch. The only place my dog doesn't act like she has been in jail when i pick her up. Dogs are kept in runs, not wee crates/cages and can see other pups.

Alcove Kennels is the perfect place to send your dog while you are away. The kennel and grounds are spotless and well maintained. Melissa is absolutely wonderful to work with and provides reassurance that your dog is in the best possible care. Our dog seemed very happy playing with the others dogs in all of the photos and videos. By far, this has been the best kennel experience that we have had. Melissa was fantastic! Booking with her was easy and super efficient. We were able to book with her without any difficulty. Once we dropped off our dogs, we went through their stay and how often they eat, as well as any other needs they may have. Melissa was so great with our dogs and made them enjoy their stay. She played with them multiple times a day and they got to see and interact with other dogs in a controlled and calm setting which was beyond perfect. We were nervous boarding them as we only had one prior experience doing it, but she sent us updates frequently and let us know how they were doing every step of the way. She is perfectly priced for everything she does ans offers, and has plenty of space for the dogs she takes on. I am so relieved and thankful we found her and now have a reliable person to bring our dogs to. She is the nicest, super accommodating and our dogs loved her!! I can’t recommend her services enough.
We used Alcove Kennels recently to board our dog during a trip. Melissa was great, sending videos and pictures throught his stay. My dog is diabetic and requires some special care and Melissa was up to the challenge!! The kennel is new and clean with nice dog runs and even a personal walk on the beautiful grounds. She was welcoming, flexible on pick up and drop off times and I highly recommend and will be using her again on future trips.
Highly recommend alcove kennels! Melissa is wonderful, extremely flexible and our pups love her. Duke and Daisy love their friends and doggy daycare, huge plus that their facility is very clean and well kept. Never have to worry about our fur babies when they’re boarding here, she gives all her boarding dogs so much love and attention. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.
We boarded both of our dogs with Alcove Kennels. We had never boarded our pups before and Melissa made it easy, met with my husband beforehand, and kept us updated with pictures and texts throughout their stay. They also update their Facebook which allowed us to see our dogs without having to consistently text Melissa, and also allowed us to see them in play with other dogs, most importantly, it allowed us to see them happy- unprompted. Would recommend and will be back for our next vacation!
Couldn't be more thankful for Alcove Kennels & Melissa. We had a pet sitter cancel on us at the last minute. Luckily, Alcove had room. We have a dog with high separation anxiety, Melissa handled it professionally and also helped with a few at home suggestions. They have a beautiful setup that is extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be using them again in the future!
