Jordan and Marta are simply the very best house sitters. They cared for Martha our cat and she was obviously smitten with them. Well what can I say....... This is the fourth time Jackie & Brian have been to look after Cookie & Cracker - need I say more?? Jackie & Brian saved the day for us because we had booked a two week holiday but had only managed to get a sitter for the first week. Lucky for us they got back from their mega cruise a few days after we left, so they agreed to come & take over from the first sitter. Not only that but they had already made arrangements for Hogmanay so I had arranged for a friend in the village to look after the boys for that one night at her house. Unfortunately she forgot all about it & Jackie & Brian cancelled their plans so that the boys were not left on their own. How dedicated was that - we were gobsmacked & so very very grateful!! Cookie & Cracker must have been absolutely beside themselves when Jackie & Brian arrived - so very very excited to see them again. As always we received lots of photos while we were away. I think it was pretty hard going because the weather was atrocious while we were away but Jackie & Brian just take it in their stride & bath the boys in the outdoor sink after their very muddy walks. We were so pleased to see them again when we got back as we consider them as friends now & are looking forward to seeing them next week for lunch! Thank you again from us all xx🐾🐾

Iona was great! She was so communicative beforehand and when we were away, and very flexible re dropping off keys etc. She sent lots of updates and seemed to spoil Hilda rotten (she loves the octopus toy still, thank you!). She left the house so tidy and clean and was super understanding even when the sink sprang a leak! We’d love to have Iona back next time we’re away and would definitely recommend her. This is the second time Jason has sat for us. We had the pleasure of having Jason back to look after our home and our dog, Fergus, while we were away, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, Jason was the epitome of reliability, care, and professionalism. Fergus is quite particular about his routine and can be a bit anxious when we're not around. However, Jason's calm and attentive demeanor immediately put Fergus at ease. It was clear from the daily updates and photos we received that Fergus was not only well-cared for but was genuinely enjoying his time with Jason. We returned to find Fergus happy, healthy, and clearly well-exercised. Jason went above and beyond in caring for our home as well. He ensured everything was kept tidy, brought in the mail, fed the fish, and watered our plants. It was such a relief to come back to a clean and well-maintained home. Communication with Jason was seamless. He was always quick to respond to messages and kept us informed about how things were going, which greatly eased our minds during our time away. I didn’t actually meet Paul and Jan except via FaceTime. However, I needn’t have worried. They kept me fully informed about their arrival and departure - as well as some of the places they were able to visit during their week’s stay. I returned home to a beautifully clean house and a very contented cat. Communication was good and it’s great to know they would be happy to stay again. I was able to relax totally on my break with friends in Spain, confident both my home and my elderly cat were in safe hands. Thank you Paul and Jan!

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

For our first experience with a house sitter, Jim and Julie have set the bar high. We felt totally confident that any issues would be dealt with, fortunately there were none.
