Iona was great! She was so communicative beforehand and when we were away, and very flexible re dropping off keys etc. She sent lots of updates and seemed to spoil Hilda rotten (she loves the octopus toy still, thank you!). She left the house so tidy and clean and was super understanding even when the sink sprang a leak! We’d love to have Iona back next time we’re away and would definitely recommend her. This was the third time that Pauline has sat for us and that in itself speaks volumes . This was also the longest sit at nearly 3 weeks and we had no doubt that our home and Suki our TT would be in safe hands . From the outset, it was clear that Suki had not forgotten Pauline . Suki’s greeting was very enthusiastic and we just knew that all would be well . As normal, our home was spotless on our return and Suki had benefited from spending time with Pauline and learnt new training commands . Needless to say we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Pauline and plan to ask her to sit again .

We really feel like we landed on our feet having Kimberley and Dean look after our ‘little boy’ Huw. We were newbies to having a house/pet sitter, but Kimberley really held our hand taking the initiative to set up an early meeting and responding quickly to messages. Meeting early really set our minds to rest. At handover we agreed every other day updates on progress which included a photo and a couple of sentences and this really helped us to feel much more comfortable that Huw was being well looked after. It was clear throughout that Kimberley and Dean had considered our profile details, taking Huw to some of his favourite places and also on some new adventures too … including introducing him to a Hollywood star! Their experience with animals, but especially dogs, shows and this helped hugely in understanding Huw’s personality leading to him having a great time - when they left it was clear that he was upset that his new friends were heading off. Kimberley and Dean took great care of our house which was left immaculately clean. Thank you both so much for befriending and looking after Huw.

We were so pleased we chose James & India for our first housesit. They are lovely people who are genuine animal lovers and we felt totally comfortable leaving our 2 nervous dogs with them. We received plenty of updates during our holiday and we could see the dogs were happy and being well looked after. We found James & India really easy going and super enthusiastic, it felt like we'd known them for years! We wouldn't hesitate to have them back.

From the moment we met Ellie and Sean we knew they were going to be very conscientious and caring whilst looking after our dogs . Major, their own dog came to stay also . He is a well trained , easy going dog who blended easily with ours . Ellie and Sean have strong attention to detail and gave us confidence that they could manage Cillas medication and both her and Douglas’s routine . The videos sent regularly and photos illustrated how content the dogs were and how they had bonded with Ellie and Sean. Our home was respected and cared for . All my house plants were healthy and they helped to store our large crop of apples. We do hope to see Ellie and Sean again and think they are great house sitters !

Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.

I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

She provides excellent value for money, is flexible with my shift changes and always there when needed. My dogs have stayed overnight on some occasions and it is so reassuring to know they are being cared for by Julie in her caring home environment.
Julie has looked after our Labrador since she was 12 Weeks old, taking great care of her 3 days a week whilst we were working, now retired our Lab still stays with Julie on odd occasions. We would not put her anywhere else, as Julie treats her like a family member. Our Lab has stayed with Julie whilst we were working and when we have travelled abroad, being with other dogs in her home, has I believe greatly improved her socially with other dogs.
Have been using Dogs Vacation for a number of years now for long stays & shorts stays. Our two Labs love Julie & her place. As soon as we pull up in the drive way they know where they are & cant wait to see her and all the other dogs that Julie looks after. My Jack Russel has recently stayed with Julie for our annual 2 week summer holiday. This was the 1st time he’s been away this long so naturally I was a little worried. Julie put my mind at rest with sending regular pictures & updates on how he was & what he’d been up too. Julie is a lovely person, with plenty of dog knowledge & I left feeling confident that he was in very safe hands.

Julie has been looking after Pepper, our Labradoodle when we go on holiday for the last 4 years. We were lucky to find Julie over 10 years ago for our terrier Roxy and have benefitted from her professional, passionate and personal care ever since, both with her and another of her hosts when she was full. She now looks after Roxy and her daughter Coco and my mum’s saluki Tessy regularly and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her. She is good value for a proper home experience for the dogs, regular exercise, cuddles and medication administration when needed, so our minds are at rest when we are away, especially for Mum who’s Tessy is of a nervous nature. Julie is friendly, efficient and very knowledgable and the quality of her care is excellent.
Alfie has been to Julie since we adopted him 10 yrs ago. He loves going to see her and play with the other dogs. Home from home, loads of affection, walks in the country, lovely garden to play in and competitive prices. Alfie also has regular baths at Julie's and comes home happy and smart. Would not go anywhere else.
My 7 year old dog has been going to Julie's since a puppy. He is always well cared for and I go on holiday knowing he is in safe hands. I especially like the fact he is in a home environment rather than a kennels.

Chris and Norfolk Home Dog Boarding provided excellent care and attention for our elderly Clumber Spaniel, Hazel. The boarding is home from home and Chris provided super care and attention for Hazel's medical needs. We were so pleased to find NHDB and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Hazel enjoyed her 'holidays' with Chris and Ruth over the summer of 2022 but has now sadly left us. Thanks again for all you did for Hazel.
Absolutely fantastic! Loki loves ‘going on holiday’ with Chris! Chris at Home Dog Boarding is quite literally a life savor! My relatives in Kings Lynn have 2 standard poodles who they love more than life itself. When they had to go to the hospital with an emergency, I googled and found and cold called Chris at 6am from the US to ask if he could possibly watch their dogs for a few hours or days (TBD). Not only did he say yes, but he made it to their house within 30 minutes of my call, brought the dogs to his home, made 2 visits to their veterinarian to pick up meds and get instructions (one of their pups has seizures), and is keeping them for 5 days! His stepping up in the clutch enabled my family to prioritize their health without worrying about their beloved dogs, and prevented the dogs from any harm from being left alone. Chris is a gem, I’ve spoken to him several times and he has been beyond responsive, compassionate, responsible, and kind. I honestly can’t find the words to thank him right now! ( incidentally, we live in the United States and I have two dogs ourselves, whom we leave in the care of others when we travel. It’s very difficult to find trustworthy, dependable, compassionate folls who will love and take care of your dogs as you do. Chris is a gem to be treasured by any who need assistance with their dogs in the Kings Lynn area.
Would never take my Labrador any where else. Chris is a top man who contantly reassures you and keeps you up to date when you leave your pet with him. My lab is always happy to stay and always looks happy when I pick him up.
