We recently had Pam take care of our 3 dogs, 2 horses, and chickens. I got updates everyday with pictures, all my boys were loved and taken care of as if they were hers. With her flexibility we were even able to extend our stay. I highly recommend this company. I’ll leave this review as many places as I can so everyone knows how truly wonderful she is. Best pet sitter experience ever! Seriously Pam was so professional and caring. She showed up in time and took excellent care of our menagerie, even the fishies were smiling when we got home. Look how happy all our “kids” are! Pam sent updates and photos throughout the week. She even called to alert me that someone was at the house and asked if that was okay. Turned out to be a surveyor, but I greatly appreciate her diligence and care. Prices are fare and visits flexible to fit any situation. Our little Roo needs 7 medications a day and I never worried once that he was at risk.

Pam Talley is an absolute joy to have in our lives! We brought home a puppy several months ago and after reading reviews on a local Facebook page, contacted Pam immediately. She came out to our house to meet us and our puppy who loved her from day one! She was very patient with me as I asked a million questions on how she would care for my dog when we had to work outside of the home. She answered all of my questions with great thought and care and I could really tell that she loves what she does for a living. She told me on our first meeting that she would love my dog like he was her own and she has shown us that consistently. She provides references who all speak very highly of her and the services she provides. Pam is very easy to work with, very responsive when scheduling and even offers to help if I get stuck in DC commuter traffic. What really stands out to me is that she does care for every pet and animal that she serves. This was apparent when our puppy was sick recently and she helped us find a vet who could diagnose and treat him before our regular vet even had an opening. She teaches/reinforces puppy manners and helps us humans by giving us tips and showing us tricks to keep him on a consistent track. We get daily updates after his walks and pictures and videos which we LOVE. I DO NOT know what we would do without Pam (and Shelby). Our puppy loves them both and I am so glad that we met. We will be customers (and fur-family) for as long as we live in the Stafford area. 💙🐾

I am so thankful that I found Pam at Two Sisters Pet Sitting. We have a senior boy, so I was more nervous than normal about finding the right person. My nerves were put at ease because Pam is the absolute best! She is loving, caring, professional and attentive. She will do anything to treat your fur babies like one of her own. We recently went on vacation and requested 4 visits a day. She accommodated each visit, even having Catelyn (pet sitter) to handle a later evening visit so Max would not have such a long overnight. She puts the best interest of the animals above all else. Pam competently administers medication accurately and on time. Her communication is timely and non rushed. She takes her time to answer any question you may have. I love the pictures she texts daily with captions of "Hi mom," or "Had my dinner"....etc. However, the best determination of how loving Pam is, is by Max. When she stopped by to review house procedures, Max was so happy to see her and loved on her like he was with his very special person! I wholeheartedly recommend Two Sisters Pet Sitting. I had a great experience with Pam while we were gone on vacation! She was reliable, attentive, and our fur babies seemed content when we returned. She also sent photos everyday during check ins, which I appreciated. Highly recommended!

Pam and her team of pet sitters have been coming into my home for about 6 months now, at least once a day, some times twice a day. They have always been friendly and helpful and have gotten to know me and my babies to the point that my cat Sunny follows Pam around the house every time she's here and I'm convinced that she would probably follow her home if I let her. Pam and her team have helped out with cat litter cleaning, cat feeding, giving meds to cats, and many other misc. care needs. They're so great!

I have known Pam for a few years and have helped her out a few times. I always feel safe with her and the various fur babies she takes care of. Pam is so good with all types of pets - cats, horses, chickens, lizards, birds goats and particularly good with all breeds of dogs. Her varied skills are impressive! She is so kind and patient and tends to go above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets.

I have taken my three labs to "the country club" for many years. Carla and the staff are true animal lovers who make sure your pups are loved like their own. When my senior girl exhausted herself swimming and could not find the energy to walk back to the kennel, Matt and another staff member wheeled her back on a lounge chair! My dogs can't wait to jump out of the truck to go play with their new best friends. I value the photos I see on social media and know and see their happy faces running with joy out in the field or when jumping in the pool. If you are looking for a fabulous boarding facility where you know your dogs will be well cared for and have a chance to live the best dog life while you are away this is it!

Super friendly staff who seem love what they do. Toby comes home happy, not stressed! He gets to play, go on nature walks, and treasure hunts, But I think he loves his spa treatments the most! A perfect home away from home retreat for the boy for sure.

This place never ceases to amaze us! Our dog loves coming here. We walk in and he knows exactly where he is at and has no problem leaving us. When we dropped him off they knew who he was before we even checked him in! This time he came with meds and they were in constant communication with us about how he was doing. If you're looking for somewhere that will take care of your fur baby like it's their own Country Club Kennels is it!!

I have been boarding with Carla and her wonderful people for 25 years. My dog actually gets excited when he sees us pull into her driveway. He always comes home happy.

We have had both of our dogs at Country Club Kennels and our first one loved it just as much as our 2nd does now! You can rest easy on your break knowing that they are safe and being cared for in many different ways. Our dog Chase especially loves the pool visits in the summer and the nature walks in the fall. The staff is kind and detail oriented. We drive 45 minutes one way to get to a piece of heaven for our Chase, and it is worth every minute.

WE Love CCK! We have boarded our dogs there for several years. Carla and company run a very special place which is truely like a dog country club experience. They have consistently taken such good care of our dogs while we were out of town that we don't have to worry. It's out of the way for us but so worth the effort! Highly recommend CCK!

They are great! They allow only other dog-friendly pooches. They don't overcrowd. The pool parties are awesome and you can follow your pets playtime on their Facebook page. We worry about leaving our dog on long trips but they make it so nice for the dogs. It's really popular so weekends booked up for the entire summer early. Try it out and you will love it!!!

I've boarded my dog with Carla and her team at Country Club Kennels numerous times this year, due to health issues and Carla has been a God send! My dog is a difficult dog to say the least, has special needs regarding his stay and requirements and Carla has been amazing to work with and her team have been extremely responsive, know how to handle his personality and he loves being there! As one reviewer said, it's an absolutely beautiful place and find myself saying wow this would be a great place to stay - lucky dogs!!

This is an amazing place to leave your dog. Prices are competitive with other kennels. Dogs go out 8 times a day. And every single one is well loved. They do everything they can to make your dog as happy and comfortable as possible. We had an anxiety issue with our dog while she was away and they picked up her medication at the pharmacy for us and gave it to her to try and help. And every single staff member feels the same way. I have not met anyone here that did not love each animal like it was his or her own. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for boarding.

I brought my dog Duque here to board for a few days during my recent move, and I was extremely satisfied! He’s a good boy, pretty calm and gets along with most everybody. However he does have some separation anxiety! I was worried when I left him because there was about to be a big thunderstorm and I knew he would be scared. I called that evening to check on him, left a message, and got a prompt call back. They told me in detail how he was adjusting and what they were doing to make him comfortable there. They called me the second day to tell me that he didn’t seem to enjoy his special “treasure hunt” activity because he was too anxious, so they wouldn’t charge me for it. Then, I called back on the morning I was planning to pick him up to ask if he could stay one extra day. They were happy to have him stay longer, and again gave me an update on how he was doing. They gave a genuine report about him, which didn’t seem like generic stuff that they would just say about every dog. Also, I loved seeing a video on Facebook of all the dogs playing outside, which gave me a glimpse of how he was doing! Overall everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional, and I felt my dog was well taken care of (he is my precious fur child of course!). This was my first visit - I live in Fairfax so it’s a 45 minute drive, but I will definitely board him here again!!

I have used Happy Houlas services for about 4 months and am extremely satisfied with their services. Kristy, the owner, is absolutely amazing. You can tell how much she cares about your pets and she goes above and beyond to tend to them. I am a new puppy owner and she has provided a lot of tips that have been extremely helpful. She is reliable and does a really great job of keeping you informed about what happens during her visits. It is hard for me to trust other people with my pets but Kristy makes it easy, because she cares, keeps you well informed, and is reliable. My pets also adore her. They are always smiling in the photo updates she provides. My pets look forward to many more walks and visits!

I have two extremely energetic dogs both under 2yrs old. The first meet and great we had Kristy was great with them she was so patient and even stayed long enough for them to relax a bit. I work full time and couldn’t get them out as much as they needed, but ever since they started walks with Kristy I’ve seen a real change in their behavior when I get home. She really goes the extra mile in making sure your pups are taken care of! And her communication about how they did is amazing, highly recommend Happy Houlas!

My husband and I traveled home for the holidays this year and Kristy took such good care of our two cats for us! We received daily updates and photos of our girls which put our minds at ease while we were away. Kristy took such great care of my older Boxer while we were on vacation. She is so compassionate, and went out of her way to make sure our Jasmine was spoiled and loved, just like we would. I got pictures and updates everyday, which gave me such peace of mind. I can't say enough about her attention to detail and concern for our sweet pup! I think Jasmine is ready for us to leave again so Kristy can come back :-)

Kristy and her assistant took care of our 3 monsters in our home, and believe me I was nervous because I’ve never left them with anyone but my sisters, and my two older dogs can be pretty nervous around new situations. Kristy assured me everything would be fine, she took time to assure my dogs the same thing. They all came out of they’re shell and were so comfortable being cared for by Kristy. My favorite thing was all the updates and seeing they’re smiling faces, some days seemed like they didn’t even notice we were gone. Not to mention pricing!!! Reasonable pricing, we will definitely use her services again if possible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Kristy is amazing! My dogs absolutely love her and her delicious treats!! She takes our high energy 2 year old pup on hikes, but she also takes our 14 year old senior dog with mobility issues on a “cul-de-sac walk.” We are so grateful that she includes our senior boy who can no longer walk long distances so he doesn’t feel left out. All we have to do is say Kristy’s name and both dogs’ ears perk up and the pup goes running to the door. 😂 She is a wealth of information when it comes to training and health issues with your dogs. She truly is the best and we are so grateful to have found her.

Super friendly and professional- they truly love my sweet babies, and did an excellent job caring for our pups and cats when we were on vacation. They also provided weekly walks for our biggest pup when we were out during the day, and he absolutely LOVED every outing with Kristy! I really loved being able to see the route they walked, and they always sent a sweet picture of Ghost as they were out walking. The daily reports for both pet-sitting and dog-walking were wonderful, I never had to wonder how things were going as we were out. Definitely a five-star service with reasonable pricing.

Jennifer has been taking care of our pets for several years - we absolutely love her!!! Initially she came in daily to check on our cat when we were out of town, we boarded our dog. Our dog is now a senior and doesn't do well outside the home. Jennifer stays overnite in our home when we're away. Our babies love her. She takes care of their every need, she also brings in our mail. The house is immaculate when we get back. Most importantly she truly loves and plays with the pets.

I 100% would recommend using Jennifer and Paw Keepers! Jennifer is amazing! She’s incredible with animals, very professional, reliable, and will work with you to ensure your pets’ needs are met. Whenever we would boarding our dogs at a kennel, they would come home incredibly anxious and sometimes ill. The boarding situation was panic-inducing for all of us. We decided to try Paw Keepers even though we were nervous that our two Aussies can be a bit hesitant around new people. No need to worry! Jennifer is so skilled and I think our dogs could sense that. They loved her immediately! I honestly have never seen them warm up to anyone so quickly! ( My cats loves her too!) Every time we use Paw Keepers we come home to happy and calm pets. It’s also great knowing someone is checking on the house while we are away. Jennifer will rotate lights on in the house, bring in the mail, and take up trash/garbage cans. She sends great updates of what the pets are up to and leaves a visit summary sheet with notes about the visits. And she gave my blind dog her eye drops without worry or additional fee like some kennels. I am so glad we decided to try Paw Keepers and will never go back to a kennel. It's never easy to go out of town and having to leave our fur babies. But Jennifer was wonderful. She spent great quality time with our kitties, put extra bird seed in our feeder out front, wiped down high touch surface areas, and sent a detailed daily update. Communication was fantastic. Even one of our kitt7es that is very shy around strangers allowed Jennifer to pet him. She is so good with our cats. We will definitely use Paw Keepers again and we highly recommend her services.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Blackhawk K-9 and more specifically the owner Samantha. She helped me when no one else would. I rescued two large breed dogs that had no socialization or any exposure to anything. These two dogs came with a lot of problems. For people other than my family, they were very scary. She did not let this intimidate her. She took both of them for behavior modification boards. Sam used her expertise in training and dealing with very difficult cases (like my dogs) to completely change their lives and ours. My dogs did not do well in public, were literally afraid of their own shadows, and could not be around anyone or thing other than the my family. Now, I can take them into public , around strangers, and not have to worry. The best part is they came home with the best manners. No more scratched doors or chewed window ledges for us. Furthermore, she also trained our family. She taught myself and my children how to work with our dogs to maintain the work she put in with them. We are all able to control them and it is no longer just myself that can handle the dogs. Along with all the training, after the fact, she is more than happy to help with any questions I have had. We have hit a few unexpected bumps and Sam has helped us navigate the obstacles with the dogs. I could go on and on about this company. From the initial intake, working with Bailey, to the actual training with Sam, it has been easy and has felt like I have a strong support system. It is evident how much she loves the dogs she helps and how good she is at it. Blackhawk K-9 changed my family's and dogs lives. We love them and HIGHLY recommend!

We had our dog in a 4 week board and train and we cannot believe how much of a difference it made. I did a ton of research on training options for our rescue dog and we were drawn to the fact that they have a varied background in training approaches. and also have a variety of their own dogs they train. In meeting with them for our free consult, you can feel the passion for every dog to be their best. Our dog learned manners in being around people, was beautifully leash trained, and learned how to be less reactive to everything around him. They loved him like their own and have been super supportive through the entire process, even coming home. I love how they use a variety of techniques, not believing in just one way to train a dog, and it shows. I am beyond the moon happy and proud of the outcome of our board and train. Other perks of graduating the board and train program include lifetime support, which is very reassuring. One of my absolute favorite things is feeling confident that I can take my big, strong guy for a walk and we have all of the tools we need to have a super fun walk. I was almost in tears the first time I saw my boy so proud to show off his progress and be confident. I highly recommend Blackhawk K-9 for anything you need, as I know you won't be disappointed!

We feel so blessed to have found Blackhawk K-9! They worked wonders building up our dog's confidence and dealing with his reactivity during a 6-week board and train program. Let me start from the beginning...did we know what we were getting into getting 2 Samoyed puppies? Heck No! Especially stubborn brothers with very tight bond and to train was to train them both together. It was a big financial investment to trust Blakckhawk K-9 to board and train our beloved but train wreck puppies that were eating our baseboards and leaving rope burns on our hands when we walked them. We knew we had to do something before they grew up to be 130-150 lbs (yes, big for Samoyeds). But, we did it! we pulled the trigger and trusted Sam and committed to board and train. I'll admit when we got home they weren't the perfect one year old puppies that no longer needed training...the training still continues but Sam came to our house, assessed our schedule and how to manage them so that they lived by our schedule not the other way around. I must admit I was overwhelmed by these two fur babies but with Sam's help my husband and I do feel 100% that we will be successful in moving forward in training them (with Sam's help, post boarding and continuing their training at our house), her technique is not to break their will but with love and impressive technique that hse has honed over the years and so impressive to hear that she herself keeps learning from others in the business and builds on her already extensive energy. We no longer have sore hands from walking, they don't bark in their kennels and we get to sleep in, they sit and stays in place that we have designated for them. We will have years and years of well behaved dogs that we can be proud to take out into public and also when we have company over......take it from someone who was afraid to pull the trigger to see if we can pull this off!!!!!!! you can with Sam's training and help.

Sam has changed our dog!! I was so nervous to pay for training, having only ever done it myself, I took a leap of faith knowing I was out of my league with this dog. I compared a couple trainers in the area, and from the first consult, Sam filled me with so much confidence in her approach. We are so grateful for the knowledge she has given us that helps us understand our dog better. We don’t only know what to do after our personally tailored lessons, but we know why we are doing it. And we have felt supported through the whole process. If we didn’t feel like something was going right, she would tell us where we need to pivot our approach and within 1-2 days our dog got it. By far some of the best dog training I have ever seen and the instructors really take the time to hit every small detail for your dog. Blackhawk is also good for srtting the standard for you as the owner as well to continue the training for your dog each and every day. I have personally seen my boy luffy go from being a goofy lunatic to a ver well trained pup in what was at least to me a very small amount of time I'd like to give a huge shout out to the owner for always being able to help me with the fine details to get the small achievements I wanted out of my maligator

Forever grateful for Sam and her team at Blackhawk K9! Before training our German Shepherd would not walk on a leash preventing us from taking him anywhere besides our backyard.
