Where do I even start. Preston and Jim have been wonderful with our sweet boy Ace. I didn’t think Ace would change due to his behaviors. It would be hard for us to give him the life we wanted for him because we were unable to take him out in Public. After his month-long stay we finally were able to bring him home and he’s a completely different dog. We were able to take him out in public without him lunging at others and barking at other dogs. I’m very pleased with the results and I will definitely say it was worth it. At the end we came home with the tools we needed to keep practicing with him. I definitely learned a lot just the one hour we were with Preston.

Excellent job Jim and Preston! We used Hoffman Haus training for our 6th month old lab and noticed once home (1day) the big change already! How did we choose this place? Charlie our 3.5 year old Golden Retriever has spent many nights there and we’re totally impressed so why not continue using there services. Again many thanks. We've been bringing our dog here close to 5 yrs for a day up to a couple of weeks and he's always had a good time. We have a Malinois, so we understand that he's not for everyone, but the staff at Hoffman Haus are knowledgeable to be able to deal with different breeds. We trust them with our dog any day. We appreciate being given daily updates, pictures/videos, which gives us a peace of mind that he's being taken care of. They have tons of supplementary services outside of lodging which is nice. Keep up the good work!

Jim and Preston were wonderful trainers! Our dog was 9 months old when we enrolled her so she had already picked up some bad habits. Oakley was very bad at jumping and biting for attention. They were so patient with her and the communication between them and us was great and informative. The facility was beautiful, clean, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming to our dog and us! Oakley was treated wonderfully and she was so well taken care of! I highly recommend Haufman House for training your fur baby as well as their awesome boarding facility! Thank you so much for all of your diligent and hard work Jim and Preston!

Hoffman Haus is the greatest!! I brought Munchkin (aka Munchie) when I realized he needed much more training than I was able to do or even the knowledge to do. Preston and Jim are absolutely incredible and so knowledgeable about training. Just after a week, Munchie was learning things I could have never imagined. Preston took him and loved him like he was his own. They truly went above and beyond caring for and training Munchie. All of the staff there were truly amazing from day one!!! I never worried if he was being cared for and loved. Every time that I texted Preston to check on Munchie, he always answered and sent videos and pictures. I could never ask to be treated with such kindness than what I was given by Jim, Preston and everyone that I come across since day one. Munchkin has come a long way since August and he has so much more to learn. I can’t say enough great things about Hoffman Haus!!!!

Jim and Preston were amazing with my doodle Zoe!!! They took a 7 month old pup and taught her to listen to commands and do them on command! Super impressed with their skills and my well behaved pup! Looking forward to continuing to learn during their Saturday training sessions! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!

Hoffman Haus did a wonderful job helping our dog Mollie. For the last 4 years we have struggled to figure out how to train her as she becomes very anxious around other people and dogs she does not know. We were thrilled to get several updates during her month-long stay at Hoffman Haus showing her progress and Jim took his time to talk us through his work with Mollie and answer any questions we had. Not only did he train Mollie, but he trained us so that we could continue working with her at home to further her success. Hoffman Haus provided the training foundation we needed and we can truly say that Mollie came home a different dog. We know it will take continued practice to maintain her skills but we now feel that we have the tools and knowledge to help Mollie be the great dog we know she can be.

The staff at Hoffman Haus have been the best home away from home for my dog, Nova. They take the best care of her and as a frequent traveler, it’s such a peace of mind to leave her with people I trust. They know me and they know her, greet us by name every time we walk in! I've been a customer for 2 years! I've boarded my dogs here but have never boarded my cat. BUT Matthew has told me time and time again how well the cats are taken care of at this amazing resort, and the pictures I have received of just my dogs makes me feel like I am leaving them in a safe place. I just boarded my cat for the Holidays and have already received pictures of my baby, happy as can be! Thank you to a wonderful and loving team!

We decided to train and board our 10 week old cane corso and after him we sent our 15 month husky!! It made a whole world deference, yes they were gone for 30 days and yes missed them terribly, but their whole attitude was different!! Jim and his staff are amazing and they loved our babies like we would have!! We received updates via videos and text! We now take our trained fur babies everywhere and their behavior is amazing!!! We definitely will be going back for boarding and grooming!!! I can not say enough great things about Hoffman Haus!! I recommend the to any and everyone!!! Excellent care and service all around!!!

We’ve sent our dog here multiple times and it’s always a great experience. Our dog gets shy and a little anxious, and the staff always makes sure to keep him as comfortable as possible. We are grateful for the effort to help him feel calm!

Love 4-Paws! Always feel confident that our dog will be well cared for. The 4-Paws staff go out of their way to keep us up to date on how our dog is doing. Even send photos. 4-Paws is a very professional and caring place.

This was my dog’s first time going to Four Paws Inn and he enjoyed it! I was really pleased by the service front desk provided. The girls were very polite and professional. I loved how I received a report card on my dog Rocco after he received his exit bath and nail trim! I’ll definitely be bringing my dog back.

Terrible! These people care more about a dollar than customer satisfaction! When I dropped my cat off to be boarded on Sat.11/30/24. I informed them I would pick her up Sunday 12/8 or Monday 12/9. I left RDU airport Sunday at 4:15pm on my to Greenville to get to there 6pm. I called 5:52pm and told them I should be there by 6pm. When I arrived at 6:01 pm a car was driving off. I did speak to another employee she said the receptionist was gone. I said I called and told her I was coming. Do you mean to tell me she couldn't wait a few minutes after 6pm. I rushed to try to get there but stop lights happens. I wanted my cat with me tonight. This was my 1st time with them and my last!

I have 2 beautiful dogs that are foster fails. Rosie and her daughter Teddy Bear are treated like Queens when they go to 4 Paws. From the front staff to the bathers and groomers. The girls came out happy and eager to show off their new hair and nails! They look great and smell great! And the price is more than fair for the happiness it gives me and my wonderful dogs. I choose Four Paws.

All I’m aware of is Pixie had her nails clipped as asked. She seemed fine. No shaking from being afraid. Normal behavior at home just very happy to see us.

I hate not being able to take my dog everywhere. I found myself needing to be out of town for a wedding, my vet suggested Four Paws. I was very apprehensive, my dog is a rescue with high anxiety. She was with them almost 48 hrs. She seemed happy, I called to check on her while I was gone...it was no doubt a pleasant experience. I will use them again!

I have brought my senior Persian cat to four paws many times and he always comes home so handsome. Recently I brought my newly adopted rescue dog who is not use to being bathed and they did a wonderful job with him. They were able to work with him to get him comfortable and he came home looking, smelling and feeling great. You could tell he felt better. Always a great experience!

We just relocated to Greenville and had to find a day care for our 3-year old German Shepherd. The Dog Play Spot has been wonderful! Our very active and playful pup is well cared for, has a great time and comes home ready to rest (great for us). Their hours are really flexible and the cost is reasonable. Definitely recommend!

My dog loves going to the dog play spot! The staff treats every dog like family! I love checking the camera to see what my little is up too! Very convenient as well.

We love the dog play spot! The flexible hours, online booking, and web cameras to watch my fur baby during the day are all very convenient and appreciated. The staff gets very happy to see my girl when I bring her in for daycare. When I have boarded her there I was given a report card upon pick up of when she was fed and her meds given to her which was signed off every AM/PM which was nice to read. I can tell the staff is caring for the dogs that attend and any questions I’ve had they take the time to answer them and discuss any concerns I give them at drop off. We have been using DPS since October of 2023.

The Dog Play Spot saved our Christmas holiday weekend with family! We were on a wait list and thankful we got our girl in because this place is the absolute best! We heard nothing but good things about TDPS, and if our dog could talk she would say the same thing. Our dog is a one of a kind where it takes a special person to have patience with her. She doesn't play well with others so we opted for extra playtime with staff and I just KNOW it made her day. We were able to call to get an update on how she was doing and the staff even emailed us pictures which helped to put our mind at ease. We are incredibly thankful for the staff at TDPS and will use their services again and recommend them to anyone looking for boarding!

Our dogs were so well accommodated that they barely wanted to leave when we came to take them home. We have full confidence and peace of mind that our dogs are safe and taken care of with kindness and compassion when they can’t come with us when traveling. We’ve used several different places before we found “The Dog Play Spot” and our only regret is that we didn’t find them sooner. We trust them wholeheartedly from this day forward. All the stars!

I am traveling for work so my dog has been coming here Monday through Friday. The staff is wonderful, With every person with whom I have had contact very kind and friendly. They always great my dog by name and treat him like he’s their own dog. Most importantly, my dog loves it here. He Knows where he’s going in the morning and gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. While my days are long & I feel guilty for how long he’s there, I know he’s being well taken care of and loved. I highly recommend The Dog Play Spot.

My 2 dogs love the Playspot. They run in in the morning and are so tired and happy when I pick them up. They also have a very skilled groomer available.

My 2 year old retriever mix, Copper, went today for the first time for a half day. I can’t say enough about how awesome our experience was. The staff gets an A++++ from AK at the front to Taylor and the rest of the gang whom I just don’t know their name yet! Copper will be coming back for more fun and for her grooming. So very pleased with these folks. I just can’t wait to take her back! 🐶

This was our first visit at the play spot and our pup loved it. We checked the webcams throughout the day and he was playing and having a great time. We will definitely be back! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

So glad to have The Dog Place Spot available for Ruby. There is no problem getting her groomed while she is there for day care or just for grooming. I appreciate the workers and their love for dogs.

I have been boarding my 2 babies here for 7 years, and I never have to worry about them while I’m away. My kitties are in a separate location from the dogs, so they’re not stressed. Spacious crates. They can come out of the crates and be with each other. There’s a window with a little set of stairs where they can walk up and look out. Bob is always so pleasant! The best boarders hands down!

This place is the absolute best! She would of course prefer to be home on our pillows but sometimes Mom and Dad need to go away. She arrives at Paws and Claws wagging her tail and leaves happy to see us. We’re so happy our veterinarian recommended this special place where Honeybea is well cared for.

This is the most wonderful place with wonderful people. My dogs have stayed twice, for over a week each time. Everyone is professional and so very caring. They show as much concern for the dogs in their care as they do for the doggie parents. Thank y'all so much!!!!

Could not be more pleased with a facility and team! Linda, Bob, and the team are great. The space and activity areas are superior to others and their caring attitude with attention to detail is unsurpassed.

We’ve been to other places and were never happy until our cats and dogs stayed at Paws and Claws. The staff take good care of our pets, and we’ve only boarded with them since we first found them. They’re the best! Great outdoor space for the dogs to really run around, as opposed to cramped runs that other places offer. All four of our pets do great there!

Friendly, loving and atmosphere! clean facility Abby was happy looked great but was ready to return home. 😆 but she knows when we are on our way she got so excited about going there. That told me she was well treated. ❤ …

Recently moved from VA to NC and renovating a house. Between no electricity/AC and return trips to VA I have boarded my Scottie from several times a week to several days a month. My dog had never previously been boarded. When he sees the facility he rushes out of the car and doesn't look back. They have great customer service and my dog loves it there.

The staff know all the little quirks of my two dogs, especially my anxious dog. They go to great lengths to make my dogs feel safe and secure when they are boarded there. My anxious dog even gets excited when we pull up the driveway! I couldn't ask for a better kennel. Other things that I particularly like are excellent communication from staff, prompt response to my emails and voicemails, cleanliness of the facilities, attention to detail when providing care to my dogs, and overall professionalism. I highly recommend this kennel.

This was my first time ever bringing our dogs to a doggy daycare they took them in last minute and loved on them like they are their own I would definitely use this day care again! And I will 1000% recommend them to anyone who needs someone to watch their babies!!.

My pup absolutely LOVES twinkle pawz. The owner, Lindsay is soo nice and makes sure my pup is in the best care! Stella comes home tired everyday and is a frequent visitor 🙂 My experience here has been awesome and my pup runs to the fence ready to play w all her friends!

Our Yorkie and Jack Russell/Beagle mix spent the ECU Homecoming weekend at Twinkle Pawz. We were on the waitlist but due to a cancellation were able to make reservations for our little pups. Check in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. The location is very convenient to Hwy 264 and Whispering Oaks RV Resort where we stayed overnight. Pick up was also very easy. We could tell our dogs were well cared for and enjoyed their stay. Thank you for taking excellent care of our doggies!

My dogs always hated boarding. 2 are very nervous around new people and we've been told they take days to warm up to people. Not at Twinkle Pawz, my dogs open up much quicker and seem so much happier here. Plus, they sleep so well when they get home. This place is the best!

My dogs, Nara and Kuma, absolutely love it here! The dogs are out all day and the last boarding place I went to you had to pay extra for them to be out with daycare dogs for boarding. My girls always come back tired and happy and I love seeing their pictures on Facebook!

Twinkle Pawz is the best, I had a last minute planned trip and twinkle paws was able to take my German Shepherd in. The ladies there is very friendly. This was my first time leaving my pup for a long period of time and the owner assured me she would be fine. We kept in contact with updates and sent me pictures of my pup. Twinkle Pawz had wore my pup out I get her home and she goes straight to her room and goes to sleep. I can’t thank twinkle Pawz enough thank you ladies again will be visiting again.

I highly recommend Twinkle Pawz to anyone for boarding or daycare! My dog is very high energy and anxious but I know she is always well cared for and happy at daycare or when boarded. She walks herself to the gate wiggling every drop off and comes back ready to sleep for hours at pickup! This past weekend I needed to board her and she had a very upset stomach at the start but I got call updates, pictures and quick responses the entire time to know she was okay and to keep me informed! All of the staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they really care & get to know every dog, I honestly wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving Willow elsewhere.We love them!!!

I was not looking forward to leaving our puppy when we went on vacation the first time. I was quickly relieved by all the pictures posted and quick responses via messenger. Now, when we pull in the drive, he starts howling because he is so excited to play with his friends! So thankful we found Twinkle Pawz Pet Resort!

My pup, willow, loves going to daycare! The girls working there are amazing, especially Jenna! She sends me pictures and updates so I know Willow is okay and having a great time. Can’t wait for Willow to visit again soon! 💕🐾

We have worked with pet sitters in different states for 20 years. Crockett's is easily the best operation we have employed. They blend professionalism, personal interest in animals, and high standards in a way that we have not seen previously. The service industry in New Bern is not stellar (compared to other, more competitive places where we have lived). But you can't go wrong with Crockett's Critter Care.

We have used Crocketts critters for about 3 yeast. Never a problem always on time. They take care of our 4 cats when ever we go away. You won’t find better pet sitters.

I have a multi cat household and have been a client of Crocketts critter care for eight years. The quality of care is excellent and each visit is reported by email, so I know what is going on while I am traveling. In addition to feeding and scooping litters boxes, the cats are played with and brushed, and given medication when needed. Jeanne personally trains all her employees and they are all polite, screened animal lovers. Packages are brought in and I am immediately contacted of an irregularities at the house. Thank you Crocketts critter care for taking wonderful care of my family while I'm away.

Jeanne and her crew of critter caretakers make leaving my pet behind much easier. They give me peace of mind knowing my furry friend is in good hands with the photos and updates I get during my time away. They are professional, diligent, and most importantly, loving toward my pet as if it was their own. Overall, some of the best pet care I have received.

This was my first time working with Crockett’s. I am a nervous cat mom with two cats that have different medical issues. Jeanne reviewed everything that would be done when we had our meet and greet. During our vacation, Caitlin took wonderful care of our cats. We received a daily update and lots of pictures and this was so reassuring. I actually didn’t worry about them a few days into the trip because I knew Caitlin was doing a great job with them. 10/10 - would use again! Fantastic service.

We used Crockett's Critter Care for the first time while we were traveling out of state. Being new to the area, I was eager to find a pet sitter that I could rely on while we were out of town for over a week. The Crockett team is really communicative, during both out introductory conversations, and throughout their pet sitting time (I received daily updates with pictures while we were out of town). It made me feel comfortable knowing the company is bonded and insured, and I prefer this over services with more casual/informal pet sitting services (like Rover). They're also incredibly thorough, and want to make 100% sure they provide excellent service while you are out of town, taking the time to meet your pets, walk through your home and your info sheets to ask any clarifications and walk through "what if" scenarios. Just as an advisory to potential future clients would be to ensure your entire info sheet is up to date prior to the walk-through of your home. I failed to update an important part of the info sheet prior to the visit, and when I remembered after the visit, we needed to schedule a second visit to review the changes. It was definitely a miss on my end, and I was glad the team came back to review the changes, but it did require an incurred service fee for the second visit. Thank you again to the Crockett's Team! We'll definitely be using them again :)

I want to just say that Jeanne is the best there is! I was very worried about leaving my two older cats (one that needs medication twice a day) for a week. Jeanne put my worries to rest and I had a great trip knowing my fur babies were taken care of. I love that she updates you on each visit and sends pictures. I will forever be grateful for your kindness to my cats and the reassurance you gave me. I highly recommend Jeanne and her company and will definitely be using her again for all my worry free trips!

If you are looking for the best pet sitters in this area, then look no further. Jeanne and her crew have been taking care of Patrick and Dorabella, two Siamese beauties, for two almost two years! They love for their sitters to come visit them when Mom is away. They get lots of time, great care, like brushing and conversation, and medicines administered. I have loved having them care for my babies and been worry free on my travels. Do yourself a favor, and enjoy your travels by allowing Jeanne and her trained crew to take care of your babies while you are away. I can always tell after Jeanne or someone from Crockett’s Critter care, has visited because my dogs are happy and try to talk to me to tell me how much fun they have had. I love the photos they send, especially if I am out of town. The love she has for animals is amazing! Highly recommended!

This was my first time having to leave my cat while I went on vacation and I was very nervous! Kate took such great care of my cat Lilith even though she was shy of strangers. She followed all my instructions perfectly and even left the cat areas cleaner than I do on a daily basis. Lilith even decided to come out and see her for a little bit after a few days. I really appreciate the daily updates while I was gone and the care taken at the original walk through to be sure to get all the information they needed to take such good care of my baby! The price was very reasonable and I can't state how much I appreciate the extra measures taken to be considerate of mask and gloves wearing during covid. As a person with a compromised immune system it was so nice that they were already wearing masks and were careful about that during each visit and I didn't have to ask I would definitely recommend this business and will be using them again!!

This facility is amazing! My pup has attended daycare, and most recently boarding. The supervised play time is great for her socialization. They attach a report card daily, with photos. The 24/7 webcam access is wonderful to check in on her. She’s always having fun! The staff engages in play with the dogs, and you can tell they truly care about them. We had a not so great experience at another boarding facility in the area. I was nervous to board her again. However, picking her up from boarding, she was as happy as can be and I knew she was well taken care of and loved while we were away. Thank you so much❤️

I recently had the pleasure of using both the daycare and boarding services at All American Pet Resort in New Bern for my high-energy dog, Bailey, and I can't praise them enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making both me and Bailey feel right at home. The daycare experience has been outstanding. Bailey, with her boundless energy, gets to enjoy spacious play areas and plenty of engaging activities, including their amazing pool. She loves splashing around and cooling off, and it's clear that the pool is a favorite among the dogs. The staff's attentiveness and genuine love for animals shine through, providing me with peace of mind knowing Bailey is in great hands during the day. When it came time for boarding, the experience was just as exceptional. The facilities are spotless and equipped with everything a pet could need for a comfortable stay. The staff provided daily updates and photos, reassuring me that Bailey was having a fantastic time. She especially enjoyed her pool time, and it was clear she was well taken care of and enjoying herself when I picked her up. Additionally, I took advantage of their additional services, including baths and nail trims, which are handled by their skilled kennel techs. Bailey came home looking and smelling wonderful, with her nails done perfectly. The kennel techs did an excellent job, further showcasing the high level of care and attention all pets receive at the resort. All American Pet Resort truly goes above and beyond in their care for pets, making it the best choice for both daycare and boarding. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a reliable, loving, and fun environment for their furry family members. Five stars all the way!

All American pet resorts was amazing with are German Shepherd, The front staff was so warm and welcoming, they had cameras in the waiting room so you could watch how are fur baby was interaction with other dogs, They have the private suites which also had camera so you can watch your fur baby as well, Very clean! Dylan had great time he spent 3 hours there, he was relaxed when got home, which was I nice feeling, he wasn’t anxious when we left, We have decided to leave Dylan there when we go away on vacation, I felt he would be well taken care of at the All American pet resorts, We have tried a few different places I never felt comfortable leaving Dylan there, We finally found one! I am using All American Pet Resorts in New Bern, NC. My Dutch Shepherd Luna has visited twice now. Luna is only 28 months old and still full of energy. This facility is spotless clean. Staff is excellent with both the customers and their dogs. I highly recommend this facility for anybody who needs boarding, day spa, grooming, etc.

We brought our dogs with us from out of state; The initial phone call was very informative and helpful. When we arrived, check in was smooth and seamless. I loved receiving the report cards each day with pictures of play time etc. To know they were enjoying themselves with new friends and awesome staff was a breathe of fresh air and no worries for us. It was the best boarding experience we have had. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them whenever we travel to the area again.

I took my 2 older dogs in for daycare. They spent time in doggy play. I watched on the Webcam. They seemed to really enjoy themselves. The 12 year old had such a good time playing, she went straight to her bed and slept for hours.

All American is the best in New Bern. We have used several other boarding and daycare services here and none are as good as AAPR. We live 5 mins from another popular pet center but have had such superior experiences here that it’s worth the drive across town for us. The staff are so friendly and clearly very experienced and knowledgable about dog’s behavior. They are thoughtful with the play groups and give them breaks throughout the day to prevent overstimulation. Our dog leaps out of the car upon arrival and comes home delightfully tired. Really can’t say enough good things!

TLDR: They're amazing! Try for yourself and see how pleased you and your pup will be! Full review: We used the lowest grade/basic boarding services, the Deluxe Suite. The price was very reasonable, and felt like you get "more bang for your buck." You don't necessarily have to pay up front (at least for boarding), as you do with most other places/people. We paid about the same rate per night as we would with boarding in someone's home, with SO many, many more benefits, and then even more!!! Access to all public cameras, guaranteed play time with other pups of similar sizing (if you so choose), someone is always there (which also helps if you need to drop off or pick up at odd hours), caring staff, secure indoor and outdoor areas, and a bed. :) They don't charge additional for every little thing. Included in any boarding and with no additional charge: food, water, treats, (most) medicine administering, group play, daily report card with pictures, and more. It did catch me off guard that it seemed that there were little to no collars on the dogs during our stay, which quickly turned into a pleasant surprise that shows me they do their best to ensure that the pups are as comfortable and carefree as possible. FYI - for brand new clients, I believe they require online registration and an orientation day with your pup(s) prior to boarding so make sure you plan accordingly. The owner, Jennifer, and her staff are top notch, and will DEFINITELY be seeing us again soon! Thank you AAPR for your love and care of my furbaby!

Decided to try this spot after the previous grooming place became very inconsistent and I will definitely be switching to here! Service was amazing and the inside was very clean and new. Everyone was very friendly. Most importantly, my pup Strawberry looked and smelled clean. The cut was great and any of her mats and snags were gone. She was brushed to perfection and was so soft. It was evident how much attention the groomer gave to her. They also added super cute little bows to complete her look! Awesome groomer and hopefully the service stays consistent. Will be my new place for Strawberry!

Angel, the young lady at the reception desk is very nice and helpful. Having multiple web cams let's you see your dog whether playing with the group or in his private space.

I’ve been taking my Shih Tzu to Jill’s for maybe four months now or a little longer. I decided to let someone else groom her because it was starting to take me a really long time. So when I was taking her, I didn’t think it was a problem for them to cut her nails, but I did mention to them if they needed to muzzle her it would be fine. Last couple of times I noticed her nails were getting longer and then she started limping. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought they would be taking my money and not clipping her nails and jacking the price of the grooming up. I ended up having to cancel her last appointment there and to make an appointment at Craven Animal Hospital to have them cut her nails because they had started curling back into her paws. Now for that to start happening to a dog, that’s been well taken care of and has always had their nails cut. Someone had to be neglecting her for two or three months. I will never go back there again. The supervisor there seems to be trying to be friends with the employees so I don’t think she’s really handling them well if they’re not cutting nails because they are afraid. I know I’m not the first person this has happened to. I just want everyone to know what they are doing in that grooming room. And it could be a new person or it could be someone that just didn’t feel like cutting her nails and decided they’d skip it and let the next person cut them. Talk about Mad, I was steaming. I had to keep myself from going over to Jill’s and confronting the supervisor and the person that had been doing her nails. I’m seriously considering taking them to court and getting my money back. Beware, you have been warned. Our pets are just like children so when someone hurts them, it really gets under our skin. A previous time when I took her to get groomed, she had little cuts all over her body. I have no idea how this could happen unless it was someone inexperienced or being mean to her.

By far the best pet daycare and boarding facility I have ever used! I never worry about either of my furbabies when they are at Jills...you can tell they are loved. I really like how they always greet me and my dogs and they always remember Tobie's name. I wish I could give them more stars!

We’ve been taking Cooper(Charles) Williams to Jill’s since May. He does daycare and boarding. I know when I drop him off he is well taken care of. He also boards there and he loves it. He practically pulls me into the place and happily goes in. Everyone at the front desk is so welcoming and the daycare and kennel staff take good care of my Cooper. They all do a great job. Thanks for having a caring and safe place for my Baby. Keep doing a great job. The Williams.

I’m always impressed with Jill’s. I know it’s not easy cutting a doodle and we’ve had many bad haircuts elsewhere. But not once over the last 2 years has Jill’s disappointed. I’ve also never had my anxiety ridden dog so happy to go back without even glancing back at me. It tells me she’s taken care of. The price is actually great compared to the quality you get elsewhere. Will always recommend

This place is amazing! Our baby girl stayed 13 days and came home freshly bathed and smelling good! She wasn’t anxious at all! She stayed in their classic suite due to nothing larger available but it was still a 4’x2’ area. Next time we’ll upgrade to larger suite! Well worth the 1.5 hour drive away from home. I was relaxed knowing our baby girl would be very well taken care of and not just locked in a tiny kennel and left alone! Our Gracie Daith will stay here from now on!

I will preface this review with the fact that the groomer was completely professional and informative. So was the staff at the front desk. To elaborate on this first time experience, I will say, I will not return. I own a Great Pyrenees. She is a working dog. Strictly outside 24/7 (unless it’s scalding outside, then she gets mild indoor A/C treatment.) That means she’s a mess, and nearly impossible to maintain without proper tools or expertise. We like her to get a good grooming at least twice a year to shed her layers of coat to help her maintain in the hot weather. My mother dropped Ella off at 8:30am for a walk in appt. We knew it would take some time between scheduled appts and other walk ins for her to be done. I didn’t pick Ella up until after closing. (5:30pm) Perhaps it was my mother’s fault for not giving the correct in-depth information to these people about the lifestyle of our dog. Perhaps it was the staffs fault for not assessing Ella more promptly or thoroughly or asking questions about her constant environment that could have given them more information about the dog they were going to attempt to groom. Upon arrival, I just wanted to get my girl home. I didn’t care if she was wet, unfinished, or not done at all. She had been away from the farm for too long and around animals she was unfamiliar with all day and I knew she would be stressed. They rushed to get the most important part of her grooming done in the 20 mins I was there waiting. Her undercoat and deshedding. They had the opportunity to charge me the extra $40 for it too. $155 later (because I felt guilty leaving no tip. I know she’s hard work and I love to tip well when it is deserved… if it would have been more timely and prepped, I would have gave way more, because I appreciate the effort put in.) I left with a dog who was still a little damp, and still needs a good brushing to get all the excess off, but is very clean and smells better than the chicken poo she had previously rolled in. Safe to say, if you have a full-time working dog, this groomer is not for you. They seem to excel at well maintained, smaller indoor pets. Given the neighborhood, I could have assumed as much. They do extremely well with what they know. But if you have a large breed working dog, this won’t be the place for you. I still appreciate the work you guys did, and I know it must have been a shocking experience compared to what you’re used to. Now you know, if someone says “working dog” ask some questions. Thank you.

Today was the first time I ever took my dog Bear who is a Labradoodle to Jill's pet spa to get groomed. I was a little nervous because I know some places can really botch up a doodle breed. When I came to pick him up, I was extremely mind blown with how amazing he looked. He smelled wonderful, and the groomer was extra ordinary when it came to what I wanted done with my dog. I will 100% will be taking him back in six weeks to get groomed again.!!!!

As always, the staff goes over and beyond to make sure my fur babies have a great stay. They are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Jill’s and will continue to use them often!

Grayson and Bones stayed at Jill's for two nights in a suite. When I picked them up, their blanket was soaked in feces, and they smelled atrocious. I was advised it had just happened, yet how could my dogs smell exactly like the blanket if it JUST happened. It has been a week, and both of my Great Danes are now suffering from severe Kennel Cough. They went in healthy, and I picked them up stinky and sick. So now $250 at Jill's and a nice hefty vet bill to follow it up. My dogs will not return, and I refuse to recommend it. @Jackson, I appreciate you reaching out to me directly. It reduced my anger greatly. Your concern for our family was more than I could have expected. You, sir, are one in a million. You have my respect, and my Danes are so very grateful as well.

Delilah has been going to doggy daycare and boarding since she was 12 weeks old, she just turned 5. We’ve also done both on and off leash training through Pitt County K9 academy, and truly I would not be able to handle my 90 pound German Sheppard without yall! She always has the best time and she is always well taken care of. Thank yall for taking such good care of my girl when I’m away, I don’t trust her with anyone else!!!

Love K9 academy! They have groomed Teddy since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else. He is so comfortable and loves going in. Lauren does an amazing job and the front staff is always so friendly and helpful! I have never used the boarding facilities so can’t comment on them, but would recommend the grooming to anyone!

The best doggy daycare there is! The entire staff is so attentive and caring for each pup. My family and I are very grateful for every single one of them helping out with our energy filled pup! Training, boarding, grooming, and daycare are all 10/10! :)

I have a senior dachshund whose nails were a struggle for the vet to maintain. Thick and black, they just never could get them as short as they should be. At K9 - 1st visit and totally professional and perfect. My doxie’s nails are trimmed amazingly well - best ever! And a great price. Highly recommend!

My dog goes every 4 weeks for grooming and has for several years, and they always do a fantastic job. They treat her like their own and she always has her tail wagging when we go. Every groomer there is amazing, you literally cannot go wrong with Pitt County K9 Academy. I am so thankful to have them!

I highly recommend Pitt County K9 Academy Boarding and Grooming. I have used both services and they are very professional, great communication, reasonable prices, and compassionate for what they do. I trust them taking care of our two Aussies and chocolate lab pup. I started using their mobile grooming which I highly recommend!!

Pitt K9 is just a great place. Dogs are treated with love and care. Lauren Rea grooms both of my fur babies and she is perfect. Everyone there is great and if you do not have a local groomer or daycare facility, I ask that you go see them and let them groom, train and enjoy day care with your pups.

A new move to North Carolina with an anxious dog had me worried about finding a groomer. I asked some of my neighbors and they said Pitt County K9 was really good. I gave them a try and never looked back. They are very thorough, the place is very clean and accommodating with appointments and reschedules if necessary. You can also tell they are all pet lovers too! Great….Outstanding….services! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.🐾⭐️

Pitt County K9 Academy is wonderful! We take our two miniature dachshunds for grooming, and we all love going to see Logan and the front desk crew. I especially love the oatmeal shampoo option as one of my girls has sensitive skin. Making appointments is super easy, and communication is wonderful. I get a text notification when the pups are done and ready for pick-up which is so nice! The girls always look so pretty and smell so good when they’re picked up. They usually have bandanas or bows which is such a sweet touch for their spa days! We always look forward to our doggy spa trips, and we (me and the pups) highly recommend this grooming facility!

I was in Greenville for a short 3 month contract for work, and Puptown was a lifesaver! I work long hours, so they came to check on millie two times a day, 3 times a week- they were always on time, communication was great, and never canceled on me. Millie will miss her Puptown crew!!

My pups love Matt! My 11 year old rescue pup loved Matt instantly (she has serious anxiety around new people) which has never happened with anyone. Matt is patient and caring with both of my pups. Matt is patient with my extremely energetic 1.5 year old Boxer. My pups come home tired after their adventures with Matt. I love that I always get updates and pictures from Matt with each adventure they go on. Matt truly cares about my pups and I highly recommend him for all your pet needs!

Matt and his team took great care of our fur babies while we were away. We didn’t have to worry at all about them being happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Puptown for all of your petsitting needs. ( Plus they send lots of great photos while you’re gone)

I continue to use Puptown several times each week for drop in care. Matt and his team are both dependable and responsible. Matt is quick to check with me if anything is out of the usual routine (like checking with me the time I forgot to leave my pup in the crate when I left for the day!). I know my pup is in good hands when I leave. I appreciate the feedback on how the visit went. It's a relief to know I've left my pup in the care of folks who will look after her as if she is one of their own.

I absolutely cannot recommend Puptown pet love sitters enough!! I am here temporarily for work and had to go out of town for a wedding. I have two cats, one of which is geriatric and requires daily medications. Molly was our pet sitter. She came over prior to us leaving to meet the cats and make sure she felt comfortable administering the medication. While I was gone, Molly sent me daily pictures and updates and went out of her way to make sure my cats had an enjoyable time while I was gone. She left my house spotless (all dirty litter and food cans put in the outside garbage). She was wonderful and I would definitely recommend Molly and Puptown to others! She was probably the best pet sitter I have ever had.

I cannot speak more highly of Puptown!!! They are reliable, flexible, trustworthy, and they take such good care of my little fur baby. They first started watching her when she had just had surgery and they were gentle and patient with her, and now that she is older (and crazy wild) they keep her active. My schedule can be very inconsistent and change often, and they always accommodate. From daily walks to day-long visits, I cannot recommend more!! I also love the update photos we get during each visit!

Pam Archer is my awesome sitter/companion for our three dogs. She’s attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. My 3 love her! Matt and Puptown is everything you can ask for in a dog companion company. I can leave town and not worry about my dogs i’m so glad that I found Matt and Pam.

Thanks to the kind owners of Puptown Pet Love, my fiance and I are now able to take advantage of trips away from our senior dog and cats! Matt and Leigh were very personable at our first meeting and paid attention to the needs and personality of each animal as they were introduced. They have been available to help us out, even with short notice, and while we're away they send us updates to keep our minds at ease. It is great that we can travel without worrying, now that we have a pet sitter we can trust!

I always get anxiety leaving my cat when I am out of town. I don't want to stress her out in a pet hotel, so this past year I tried out Puptown Love. Mollie and Matt were so amazing in caring for Jezebel that she was waiting for them at the door after I had been home : ) Their reliability, quality and consistency in care have taken away the anxiety of travel and I know my home and baby are in good hands.

Matt is awesome! He had been taking care of our pups for over 3 years before he moved to NC (y’all are lucky to have him!). He is super reliable and just absolutely LOVES our dogs! He not only walked them, but also stayed at our house several times while we went out of town. He is super trust worthy and reliable :). The dogs would get so excited when they heard his car pull up! We miss him!

I went there as a pet sitter for two dogs I was taking care of in October! The ladies understood that I was going to pick them up seeing as the owner was not able to. They were super sweet and the pups looked too happy after I came back for them! They smelled so good too! I highly recommend this place to bring your pups!

We tried them for the first time today. The service was for a bath, brush, de-shedding, and nails. Dropped our lab off at 10. We were told he’d be ready at 2. I called at roughly 2:10. They said he was ready. Picked him up and he was still wet and did not look like he was brushed at all. I had to dry him off with a towel at home. I was speechless. Not worth the 60 bucks we paid. Will not be returning.

My Dogs love going to play at Eli’s any chance they get. I love how much they sleep when they get home. With a 2 year old chocolate lab and 10 month old Aussie exercise is a must. Eli’s is also a life saver when we travel. Knowing they get love and care make this Mama’s heart feel at ease when having to leave them. I like to add on half play days when they board so I know they are having fun. But don’t just take my word for it, just ask my dogs. Do you want to go to Eli’s’s? Their excitement says it all.

Love how it is small groups of dogs to make sure each animal is getting the proper attention they need. They also have an amazing groomer on-site; and a very reasonable price that rivals other locations that do not so well a job and charge close to $100. These caregivers know each fur baby by their name and know their personality. They know their temperaments and make sure it's a safe environment for them.

We love Eli’s! Barrett and the staff have cared for and loved on our pups for years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

What a wonderful place for our furry companions. Eli's is top notch in grooming, boarding and day play. My girl has been going for a couple of years and she absolutely loves it! They are "hands down" the BEST!! I highly recommend them if you're in need of any of the services they offer.

What a wonderful staff! We brought our two cats to stay for a week. We called every day for updates, and they were happy to do it. Clean place. Easy-going.

Eli’s treats Frankie (and ourselves) like family, and for that, I will be forever thankful! Our labradoodle needs constant attention so we decided to bring him to Eli’s a few days a week to play while we work. Barrett and her staff are extremely sweet and loving with him and he always comes home smiling and content! I also recommend the groomers there as they keep Frankie looking like a handsome doodle! (Other places just cut his hair like a poodle😒) A+

Eli's has been a blessing! We have been taking our Husky here for several years! He loves the day play. It helped him become more socialized with other dogs and people. We have him and our older dog groomed here as well. The staff are friendly and you can tell they LOVE THEIR JOB! We take our Husky, Bandit twice a week for play. We also board himwhen needed.
