Sharon and Jeff were great house sitters. Arriving early after we changed the times they came straight in and met the dogs. Mutual love at first sight. We returned to a clean and tidy house and happy, groomed dogs that have been sulking since they left. We went off confident that they could copy with everything which is just what you need when leaving for 2 weeks. Hopefully they will sit for us again with better weather !!

Sue was the perfect house sitter. She used her time here to explore the area and took my dogs Darcy and Lottie with her in her car. They went somewhere different every day walking, and Darcy had plenty of opportunities to swim. Sue sent photos and videos of their adventures and it was clear that the dogs were having a brilliant time. It was immediately apparent that my dogs were confident and very happy in her care, and I'm in no doubt that they would love to see her again. Sue's visit coincided with a few days of warm, dry weather so she ensured the plants in pots in the garden were watered. The house was clean and tidy on my return. Sue had stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding, towels and tea towels. There was nothing for me to do but enjoy the flowers she had left around the house and sample the delicious jam she made while here. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue at my home and she will be welcomed back by us all if she ever wishes to come back.

Clare and Matt were absolutely brilliant sitters, as all their other glowing reviews suggested. Their communication was just right, not too much or too little. They arrived on time, and asked lots of good questions about the sit in preparation for our departure. And they were an instant hit with our dog Jasper. We had complete confidence in them as we left, and they sent us occasional updates of Jasper throughout our two week holiday. Nothing was a problem and they thoughtfully checked our flight was not delayed before leaving the house in perfect condition (immaculately clean) for our return home. Clare and Matt are both really lovely people who I cannot recommend more highly. Jasper was clearly very well looked after, as was our home.

Anastasia was a good housesitter. She communicated proactively, and the cats seemed happy in her company. She made sure to arrive well ahead of time despite some issues with the train service, regularly provided updates on how things are going, and was flexible around arrival and departure times. honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

My dog was here was 9 nights for the first time and she has come home with damaged paws, cuts all over her feet and legs. My poor dog can hardly walk and they didn’t seem to care when I rang she has ran and played at home many a times and never ended up like that.

It makes it so much easier as an owner to know you’re leaving your dog somewhere they’re happy. Before Old Park Farm, I’d only ever left Lola at one other kennels and never for 2 weeks. I was so anxious coming back as I was worried at how she would be at home, but it was like we were never away! They're absolutely amazing! Left our 8 month old German Shepherd with them and he loved it. He's a handful and they were fantastic with him, even when he was throwing his water around! Pip our boarder collie has had a lovely week at the old park farm kennels. She has come back full of life. Such lovely staff . Will not hesitate to have her stay again . The best moment was when as we left she turned back to the lady who has been looking after her and gave her her one final cuddle and if you know pip you know she only saves them for special people. Our dog Bobby has been spending a day with Heather for the past 4 years. He enjoys his walks with her and returns thoroughly happy and exhausted. She takes him to different places from the ones we visit and gives him the opportunity to mix amicably with the other dogs she walks. Heather is totally reliable and we completely trust her to look after Bobby as she would if he were her own dog. Her rates are very reasonable and represent good value for money. Heather is a kind, reliable and hard working individual. She cares for my dog and is extremely adaptable to my working needs. I feel comfortable at work knowing Roxie is having a lovely walk with all the friends she has made since going out with Heather, and I also trust Heather completely going in to my home. Just got back from a 9 day holiday left my two dogs a german shepherd and staffie i knew when we arrived at the kennels both dogs trotted of neither of them looked back lol. cant thank val and her team enough for looking after them. Lovely place I know my dog is well looked after. On way back from our holiday we were in a car accident, we rang told them what had happened the lady on the phone said that's fine don't worry don't rush back we will have Jensen for another night just collect him in the morning. I would highly recommend I won't let my boy go anywhere but here I know he's safe and well looked after.

absolutely disgusted with the owner. My Doberman stayed for a week when I picked him up he was unrecognisable. He had gone from 36.8kilos down to 32.9kilos. The vet said in order for him to have lost that amount of weight in 7 days he must have been starved. All the owner of the kennels could say was he was too fat when I brought him in. Next time we went away he stayed at the kennels in Great Ayton for 8 nights and didn't lose any weight

First time ever leaving my dog in kennels, since owning him at 8weeks old, he is 4yrs old now and normally with my 24/7. A lovely gentleman met me at reception, who helped carry my dogs bed ect, and reassured me my dog was fine before I left. My dog is very nervous around strangers but he didn't seem fazed at all by staying there. Stunning place, beautiful surroundings, easy to find, will definitely be using these kenels again.
