We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. We definitely recommend her as a house and pet sitter and would ask her again in the future!
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.
David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda

AWFUL dog washing service. Are the Santa Fe Awards rigged? No way this is the ‘best of 2024’ business! Dogs washed, not dried. They don’t smell much better because products are ‘unscented.’ I was quoted under $90 for my 2 medium dogs, but they tried to charge me $110 without blinking an eye. I spoke up & price was adjusted down. Dogs came out frazzled and their leashes were COVERED in dog grooming hair, which made my clean car dirty. How is this okay? I feel newfound respect for Petsmart, the budget option.
What an amazing business. Each and every one of their employees have an imbedded passion for our dogs. They literally give me a play by play run down on my dogs entire day and know her temperament as if they own her. Absolutely amazing. If Bella shows any signs of being ill, the staff calls me right away. Bella has been a client of Zoomies daycare and boarding, each time I pick her up she Is always in tact. If you’re looking for a doggy daycare that has flexible hours and where the staff is very accommodating, Zoomies is the place. Bella and I are so blessed to have Zoomies.
My dog, Pinto, had his first visit to Zoomies this month where he spent just 3 hours while we attended an event. He hasn’t told us anything about his visit but that’s just the way he is. I think he had fun.
Our dog loves Zoomies! We took advantage of a bath add on and she was all clean and trimmed. Expect a tired pup from all the playing. The staff is friendly and making appointments is easy! Love this place!
Happy until I found out that Zoomies is raising their day care price from $22.50 for 6 HOURS to $26.00 for 4 HOURS. I hate when businesses use our love for our dogs to gouge more and more money for less and less. My puppy loves it there...and they know it. They also know I don't have the time to vet another daycare and therein lies their hook. Good job Zoomies. I hope Eddie and all the other pups get the service we are paying for. You upped the game. For yourselves too.
We were visiting family in Santa Fe for Thanksgiving and needed a place a park our one year old pup. He was a bit too rambunctious for all the people in the house.Zoomies wasike a knight in shining armor!! After getting his papers in from our vets in California, he was evaluated immediately got to join in the fun. They were super flexible about our pick up time. He had the best time there. I just know it because he slept like a log all the way home. Thank you Zommies for saving Thanksgiving!!!
Zoomies Dog Daycare is more than just a place for your dog to play—it's a full-service haven for your furry friend. In addition to providing a fun and safe environment for dogs to socialize and exercise, Zoomies offers a variety of extra services that make it stand out from other daycares. From nail clipping to shampoo baths, your dog can enjoy a little pampering while they're there. These grooming services are convenient and ensure your pup is well taken care of, even when you're busy. Zoomies also adds special touches like offering healthy treats to reward the dogs throughout the day, making sure they are both happy and well-fed. The staff goes above and beyond to create a positive experience for every dog, ensuring they not only get plenty of playtime but also a little extra care when needed. Whether it’s a fresh grooming session or a treat break, Zoomies provides everything your dog needs for a complete day of fun and care.
We bring our energetic dog throughout the week and have left him for boarding, every time the staff is super kind and recognizes our dog by name! Our dog loves Zoomies and gets excited in our drive there. The grooming is also worth it, they do an amazing job at trimming his nails even if he’s a little difficult at times. Thank you Zoomies!!
We are so appreciative. I have a very shy dog who is fearful of other dogs and people. I brought her to Zoomies for half a day to assist with socialization. I took her to the dog park a few days later. Previously she had run from all dogs, even chihauahuas, although she is 62 lbs. After her first half day at zoomies, she allowed other dogs at the dog park to greet her for the first time. I bought a beginner's packet and will be dropping her off once a week to build her social confidence.
My two collies apparently loved it there for the one time they went. I was really worried about leaving them at a new (to them) day care but the staff was great with them and they were fine of course! They were actually excited about going back when we were walking in the door the next day but unfortunately there was a miscommunication the day before about it being OK to leave my 1 year old unaltered female there with them and the woman who was at the desk on Sunday refused to take them, so that visit got cancelled. We were able to find a great Rover situation for them while we took our grandson to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe so plans didn't' have to get completely cancelled after all just a little stress while we scrambled to find another option. Other things... it was a little confusing where the front door was but it's just past a 2nd hand shop on the corner and you have to park on a side street and walk around which was fine once we figured it out. The facility looked and smelled clean and the front desk staff on Saturday was really friendly and handled my nervous dogs well and when we picked them up they were happy and had played enough to be ready for dinner and a good nap. Our breeder's requirement is to keep our pups intact until 18 months old so their hormones help complete bone growth - their growth plates close, and they are closer to maturity. I recommend Zoomies in Santa Fe but make sure your dogs are spayed/neutered before 6 months. I get it but if you are in the same as our position you'll do better getting a Rover day care.
Beck 'n Call is clean and organized and the dogs really seem to enjoy daycare! I love that I can watch them through the cameras online. The manager was very friendly and helpful.
Where to begin... First off stay away form this place if you have a working breed dog or a dog that has high energy drive these "handlers" do not know how to handled a dog like that and will take the lazy route when it comes to integration. Our dog was dropped off at daycare around 2:20pm and was there for approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. When my wife and I went to pick her up the front desk person with glasses very nonchalantly told us that our dog was put in the crate because of her wanting to play with another dog that did not want to play. Now I understand she is a high energy breed and will never really tire but instead of trying to mediate the situation they decided to separate the two animals. This is the first time ever that we have heard or seen her have a problem with a dog. This right here told me the handlers do not know how to do their job and were just taking the easiest and laziest route instead of trying to integrate or redirect attention to another thing. This was also her first day at this daycare (will also be her last) and she does not know all the animals. So upon this separation from each other they seemly stuffed her into a crate. Now our dog is crate trained but with only her crate and not some random crate at a new daycare. Unsurprisingly to anyone with a brain she freaks out because this is all new to her. So instead of seeing she wont go into a crate and doing something else they decided to force her in and she got a big cut on her nose. There were many things wrong with this picture starting with the lack of ability to deal with the situation and knowledge of how to mediate between two dogs. Secondly, she has never had a problem with any other dogs in the previous daycares over the year and has dealt with multitude of different breeds. Third, the woman at the front with glasses seemed very dismissive and her attitude towards us seemed like she did not care. Her "brilliant" advice was to bring her earlier when the dogs want to play more. We both have work schedule that will not allow that and also what does that even mean? Daycare is for play so why is my dog getting punished for wanting to play? We are very disheartened that they did not try and call us but instead just rotated her and the other dog into crates all day. What kind of mediation is that? There is a lot of training that needs to happen and honestly I am debating seeking legal guidance on this for the next steps because the way this situation was handled is very concerning. If a manager wants to reach out about it feel free I am open to chat more. Update: Spoke to the manager and man does the shoes fit in this place. They deflect and do not take ownership and watching my dog struggle in the crate on the first day of daycare in a new environment. Manager said that the wound was “self inflicted” while in the crate. That tells me they watched as my baby was struggling and instead of letting her out they just let it happen. What absolute wastes of spaces. They should not be allowed anywhere near animals at all. Still seeking legal guidance on this. Have an appointment scheduled.
My grand dog came home injured. There should never be an instance where this should happen. It appears workers are unskilled and unknowledgeable in handling certain breeds of dogs. Daycare is supposed to be a social event for the dogs, they should not be put in crates for long periods of time. This is unacceptable and heartbreaking to hear that the dogs are being subjected to this cruel care.
They always take such great care of my Rio. He’d always happy to visit!
The employees are very attentive to your pet. They understand that pets are family and should be treated as such.
So happy to have beck ‘n call nearby. Our pups love it here and always come home tuckered up after a full day of playing. They do really fun things often too (recently they offered a photo shoot for the pups to be on Santa’s lap). Highly recommend.
I love beck ‘n call! They are always very nice and the prices are better than a lot of options. I love that the dogs can all day play, no extra cost. They also have indoor/outdoor areas with a little kiddy pool for the dogs to cool off. I enjoy watching the live view cameras to see if my dog is having a good time, which she always is!
Always good experience with them, they know Duvalin 🐶 and are super friendly and loving to him. Good prices and availability. …
I love them. We've been taking our dogs here for years. They are friendly and really, part of our family as we trust them so much with our fur babies. They're always there for us! Plus I love that they have live video streaming during the day so you can get a peak at them while you're away.
My dogs absolutely love this place! They are so happy and clean when I get them home. Both a handful and well over 50 pounds, they are given the best care! I always receive a text promptly that they are done with photos of them looking so happy. Big box store groomers just aren't capable of providing the service that Beck 'n Call can. This is our permanent groomer as long as we live in ABQ!
Place is pawsome!!! Been coming to daycare several times a month since Feb 2024 and its always a blast!! Kid gets excited as soon as we say "daycare" and doesn't even turn to say "later mom" at dropoff. He is exhausted and elated after every visit. They offer different treats through the month which is greatly appreciated; picture days, pup cup days, bubble days, pool days, ice cream days, social media streaming day, brain game day, story time day, etc!! Staff is genuinely friendly and all about the kiddos , like ALL of them and it shows :) . Little dogs are separated from big dogs. Drop off and pick ups are quick and safe! We only do daycare as we were already established with a groomer and don't have boarding needs but would use PP if needed. Bring your kiddos in for some playdates!! Westie approved!!
Jackie is always on point with our fur baby's hair cut Cathy is always very happy doggie when she comes out from the back and has a big smile on her doggie face. 🙂🙃 Thank you! …
Hands down, the best of the best here. Our senior dog, Xena (age 14) has been to Paws Plaza several times for daycare and boarding, and she was recently there for a few days before she experienced a serious medical issue one night. The staff at Paws immediately recognized something was off, and they called Mike over to take a look at Xena. Mike could tell something was wrong, so he called me and then he took Xena to the emergency vet (Mosaic). Mike even waited with Xena at the emergency vet until he knew what her status was. Sincerely, it was like 2am before Mike left the emergency vet. Talk about going above and beyond - Paws treats your pets as their own. I will be forever grateful for the staff at Paws, and especially Mike. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Great Place!! My sweet girl had never been away from mom. She needed a break so after som research gave Paws Plaza a shot and I’m thrilled we did. They were great with her gave updates checked with me about a lick granuloma. I didn’t think i could be more pleased until I picked up a very tired baby and they not only showed me video of her day but had a postcard with her and a friend waiting for me
I was so pleased by the service of Paws Plaza. Jackie was my dog’s, Happy, groomer. She came out and met me and Bappy and went over the cut I wanted. She told me the time Happy would be ready and called me to let me know Happy was ready 15 minutes early. Jackie carried Happy out (he is only 10 lbs) and told me that Happy’s dew claws were so long that they were touching his skin and she had trimmed them. Happy had a great trim and we will be using Jackie and Paws Plaza again. Also, before accepting Happy as a pet client, they had to have his immunization records from my vet. This made me feel so good and I knew Happy was going into a grooming site where all dogs were healthy. This is an excellent grooming center. Thank you Jackie.
My sweet pal Frances loves Paws Plaza where she plays with her friends. She has boarded and attends daycare regularly. The staff love her and are always eager to help. Highly recommend. The photo is from the littles yard. Frances is in the center with her pals watching the world roll by.
Every time Stella comes home from a day at Paws Plaza she is exhausted from all the fun she had with all her friends. The staff is so sweet and patient with her and me. Always recommend this place. I have used them for several years now and I have never been disappointed.
Cooper has been going to PP since he was 5 months old and loves it! He is now 15 months old and looks forward everyday to being there. I believe the socializing has been key to his sweet disposition. The staff is so wonderful! I wouldn’t trust any other boarding or daycare.
We love the staff at Paws Plaza. They are professional, kind, and attentive. We've been bringing our family dogs to Paws for almost 10 years. Our puppy girl comes home smiling and exhausted every time. It's a great way to socialize your dog with every size, age, breed of dog- they make so many friends. The grooming service is also great.
Just moved here and brought my dog in. Back where I came from she always resisted going in. Here, after just a few visits, she's eager to go in. Never seen her do that before. I don't know what they're doing but it's awesome.
