With 61-5 star reviews we’d love to partner with you for complete peace of mind
Rose and mark were fantastic. Very professional and caring sitters. I never felt that I needed to worry about anything. They left my home in the condition as if they had never been there. I, absolutely couldn't have been more impressed and pleased.
Lifelong pet lover, longtime pet sitter!
Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
Spending life's adventure caring for your animal loved ones, big & small, w/ TLC
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Caring and loving pet-sitter.
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Fit and fun "young" retired couple offer peace of mind while you are away!
Everything was great even though they were here for some unfortunate circumstances (hurricane and extended power outage). Sent frequent updates and our cat seemed to like them.
Experienced housesitters looking to travel and make some furry friends!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
WFH researcher excited to provide quality care to your furry loved ones!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Experienced and zeewoi with excellent references!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Intrepid traveler and animal lover
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
Experienced sitter, 5-star reviews. Meticulous, quiet, non-smoker.
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
The Hound and Tabby Nanny is ready to take care of your fur babies.
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Retired professional gardeners available to care for your home, garden & pets.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Kuldip exceeded all the expectations we had from a Zeewoi. She took over from another sitter when we got stuck out of country due to a family emergency. A highly energetic person yet extremely organized, she easily matched the energy level of my 2-year-old Border Collie Pavo. She not only exercised him multiple times every day, but even him bought him new doggy toys and treats (much appreciated!). She got along very well with our neighbor and with their combined help Pavo got a much needed doggy bath! With her by my dogs side we were worry-free and able to focus on our family needs. Lastly, she left a pleasant surprise when we came back home. Our home looked squeaky clean and beautifully organized. Kuldip is a gem of a pet sitter and we would love to have her back for our fur baby without any hesitation. I highly recommend her!
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Thank you for taking great care for the dogs and the house.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda

Waggy Tails is the best! They took amazing care of our cat while we were overseas for 10 days PLUS an unexpected extra 2 days while we were stuck in Atlanta due to airline issues. I cannot recommend them enough!!! We will continue to book with them for future needs. Thank you, Leslie and Katherine, for being so awesome!
Waggy Tails Pet Care and Katherine are the best! Great care with twice daily visits to my hoard of feline fur babies for over 2 weeks while I was overseas. Katherine sent photos and comments daily. Would most highly recommend this service and will definitely use them again
My fur babies were well taken care of while we were away for a few days. Both my dog and cat are elderly and need xtra care such as medications. Lesley was very attentive and kept me in the loop during the time I was away. I highly recommend Waggy Tails to care for your pets.
I used Waggy Tails while my partner and I were out of state and I cannot give Katherine enough praise. She met with us before and seriously was a god send as she dealt with our dog (situation after situation, life of a former shelter doggy). She sent pics and kept us updated the entire time which I really appreciated. Katherine went 100% above and beyond and we will forever be grateful of her help. It was scary leaving our dog for the first time but Waggy Tails did a fantastic job!
I am a Realtor, & sometimes you have to work around homeowners that have pets. Waggy Tails Pet Service was in care of the homeowners pets & they made sure the house showing when off perfect. Everyone was impressed with skill and professionalism.
They are simply the best. Responsible, communicative, reliable, and more. Our three fur babies love them as do we. Immensely grateful for their 5 star plus service.
We had Leslie come to our home for one night and we cannot recommend Waggy Tails Pet Care enough! Leslie came by to meet our dog and cat a few days before so they could get acquainted and so we could give her some instructions. Leslie left our home spotless and we felt so at peace knowing our babies had someone to love on them while we were gone. We will certainly be using Waggy Tails Pet Care for all of our future needs!
Katherine and Leslie are God sends! It is so nice leaving town and not ever having to worry if our dogs are taken care of. We joke that our dogs will be sad when we get home because they’re so spoiled and well taken care of by Katherine and Leslie. We love that they are able to come and stay with our dogs at our home where they’re comfortable and can stay in their regular routine. They feed, administer medication, walk, and love on our dogs. They also send picture updates daily, which we love. We always come home to happy dogs and a house just as we left it. I can’t recommend Waggy Tails Pet Care enough!
Waggy Tails is a very dependable, high quality pet sitting service. Leslie gives our dog and cats lots of love, and sends us pictures while we are away.
We had Katherine come to our house and watch our dog & cat and it was a wonderful experience. Katherine communicated with us if she had any questions and sent us pictures every few days. House was in perfect condition when we came home. I was very relaxed on vacation because I had peace of mind that my pets were happy and well taken care of. Would highly recommend.
What can we write? We had never boarded our dogs prior to this since we previously were able to find a pet sitter. New to the area with an upcoming trip, friends referred us to "Your Pet Space," and we could not be happier with their levels of service and the caring for our pets. We boarded them for 5 nights, and the Your Pet Space team sent us daily updates with photos of our two dogs and showing them playing with others, and that they were happy and healthy and perfectly fine. We cannot say enough for this business putting our minds at ease. We will be return customers, I'm quite sure!
UPDATED: 2 years later, we still love and appreciate the staff. Seamus and Cormac attend 2 to 3 times a week and recently we added in-home training classes with both boys and 2 additional dog family members. All four spend a lot of time together and we had a few instances where we felt like the adults and 4 dogs needed additional training. We reached out to the place that knows (and loves) all four dogs and Jasmine Contreras - Training Manager for YPS came and consulted with us in home and suggested that we do 6 weeks were all four adults and dogs worked together. We found that the adults needed the most guidance and really set the tone for our fur babies. We all graduated last week and there has been such a difference in our awareness and responsibility for the atmosphere and control our our dogs' environment. They remain more calm, obedient, and joyful than before. We still have more work to go, but what a difference Jasmine - and YPS - continue to make in our lives. Cormac, Seamus, Finnegan, and Madigan (and their moms) thank you! If you struggle and looking for caring insight that would help you and your fur baby, you can't lose when seeking out this team with a home consult. Spending the time on training is a win for you and your dog. Shout out to Jasmine for her patience, expertise, and commitment! Two years ago: We researched options in Cruces prior to moving and we narrowed down to a few - all the places were friendly and clean, but we really resonated with YPS. They were generous with their time and patiently answered all our questions and gave us a tour of the location. We moved 6 months later and our experience has been the same. Both our hits did day-camp and we got a full 2 page report (little worried about our youngest one’s report card) in both buys that was dead on! We appreciate the thoughtful reviews and opportunities they saw. Best part is, both boys - Seamus & Cormac - LOVE going and I don’t even get a backward glance when they come out to the truck to bring them in for us. They bring them out to me at pickup time and they are EXHAUSTED AND HAPPY!
I highly appreciate this facility for the comprehensive care and affection provided to my dog. Their well-structured system ensures the well-being, health, and happiness of pets. My experiences with their daycare, boarding, and grooming services have been consistently positive, complete with thoughtful touches like photos and report cards that allow pet owners to remain connected and involved. This service greatly eased my concerns during a week away from home. Thank you to the team for their exceptional dedication Note: Removed previous complaint about their app. They recently changed to a different app which is great!
My sweet rescue terrier has literally spent half of his life in COVID lockdown, so he wasn’t socialized very well! I was nervous to bring him to daycare but I feel confident that Larry is so well cared for whether for the day or the occasional overnight. He gets excited before we even pull into the parking lot and he runs inside without a look back! I love the report cards, and the new image uploads to the app that show me what kind of day he had. The staff really is attentive to the needs of each pet and go above and beyond to make sure they get what they need. Also-grooming services are excellent, best I’ve ever experienced! 10:10 recommend.
I love Your Pet Space— and so does my Gambina. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She goes to daycare and during Thanksgiving 2023, we boarded her there for 10 days. She is always well taken care of, gets plenty of exercise and has friends that she plays with. As soon as we drive up she gets excited and runs inside the door with the staff— and mind you, Bina suffers from stranger anxiety, so she clearly sees them as her family. She also has her friends that she plays with. I love getting her daily pics where she clearly looks happy and they send me report cards of how she did and all the stimulating camp activities she does. In summary, I highly recommend this great place.
I love this place, such friendly staff. There is no better place to bring your dog, they do daycare with training (difficulty levels to meet your pets abilities) and over night boarding if you go out of town. The price is a little bit more than other business, however, others don't even compare. Owners/staff are presenting 24/7 at all times, and knowledgeable in the different needs of your pet.
We have two dogs, 3 and 5, who started going to Space camp 2 days a week. Our youngest was adopted during COVID-19 and didn't get much socialization with anyone except his siblings. We saw steady, slow progress with each day and his interaction and obedience continue to improve. His older brother, Seamus, needs different attention and a slower, gentler approach and the staff interacts with him in a way that brings out the best in him too! They look forward to going and I look forward to getting their pictures with playgroup friends and the progress report cards every day. We've also used the boarding services and the same care is shown to them when they need to be away from us. We previously visited local facilities and while nothing was wrong with any of the other services, YPS fit our needs. The dogs love the staff and are excited to see them. Many are NMSU students studying in the animal sciences and love to see how they get hands-on work with our four-legged family. Thanks to the whole team at YPS!
Your Pet Space takes almost all sizes if dogs from Chihuahua to Great Dane, provided they are up to date on vaccinations. They offer many services such as boarding, day care, grooming, obedience classes, etc. The staff is friendly and courteous and our dog loves going there.
YPS goes above and beyond the average play day and boarding for my Rocko. Starting with the excellent customer service when making reservations. Front desk staff is accommodating with my schedule, cares for my dogs needs and always has time to listen to me when I discuss my favorite topic...my Rocko. Rocko has made many friends at YPS and I am delighted to get his Mission Discovery Report card via email with details of how much activity and fun he spent during his stay. On occasion, I get photos of Rocko at play, plus a Valentine's Card with a picture of my Rocko looking so handsome. Rocko has learned many commands and manners from the expert dog handlers and trainers at YPS. Thank you YPS! I consider Joy, Dave and the YPS Team to be his extended family, and I have tremendous trust my Rocko is in the best care.
I LOVE Your Pet Space!!!! I have a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy and they are doing a fabulous job with her socialization and learning appropriate play with other dogs and people. They are also continuing to assist with basic training. I really like the idea of kennel free boarding and daycare - the dogs have to learn manners and know how to interact appropriately with other dogs and they are not isolated. Not only do they have different Daycare packages you can purchase that have different types of activities for the dogs, but they also include a 1:1 training session with each dog during the time they are there if that is something you want for your dog. I do believe that this method does help to decrease stress and anxiety in dogs when they are having to be apart from their hoomans. The staff is kind, loving, and caring toward the the animals. I like that they have Certified trainers working the dogs and they also have staff scheduled 24 hrs/day with the boarding. I have never seen my girl upset, stressed or anxious when dropping her off or picking her up. I was referred to this business by the Dog Trainer I was using. She has worked with this Daycare/Boarding business for a few years and highly recommends them. I would not hesitate to recommend this Dog Daycare and Boarding to anyone. Love them!!!!
Excellent choice for my special needs cat! The staff here was wonderful. They set up a very large circular pen on the floor, covered by an absorbent cloth. My cat was rescued 9 months ago and is 18 years old and blind. In addition to her handicap she refuses to urinate in the litter box. She will only defecate there. No problem. They dealt with all of her issues. I brought fresh and frozen chicken to supplement her dry food( she refuses to eat canned food). The cat was happy and I was greatly pleased and relieved. Way to go, Karen's Animal House.
We've taken our dog to dog daycare and boarding here. They have a great play place and the staff we've net seem to enjoy being around dogs. However, we have SEEN rope toy come out of our dog 3 times. I've asked multiple times for her not to play with rope toys. Rope toys kill dogs all the time, so I just can't believe that is something that is even offered. Additionally it means the staff are not watching the dogs for large stretches of time during dog daycare. We've also seen large pieces of bone come out of her, which I also don't like, but not extremely dangerous to all dogs like rope toys are.
Baby Willis had the best time. She talked all the way home and for hours after. (Yes dog talk) She did not get sick after I brought her home, as she did at the other boarding business. They groomed her so nice. The other boarding place could not. The staff was awesome! Thank you so much. She will be back.
Can't recommend enough! Karen's is a fantastic place to trust your puppers for daycare and training! Her entire staff is loving to the dogs, passionate for the work, and competent and efficient for the job. Karen runs a structured program in training to great results. Her classes are effective for both the dog and owner: she infuses disciple while still showing great care for the dog and its owner. (Too often owners aren't committed to the kind of consistency Karen teaches, but they'll honestly benefit so much alongside their dog in Karen's classes. Trust me!) Rarely are results by other trainers as thorough or long-lasting. If you're looking for a place to leave your dogs in loving care while you're working/on vacation, or looking for a place to sharpen up behaviors (including your dogs mental/physical agility) then you could find no better place in town than Karen's animal house.
Mocha loves going to daycare! She gets so excited when I grab her lunch for daycare. She has so much fun running around all day. The staff is super friendly and wonderful! They really do care for you and your pet/pets. We did training with them. Karen helped me a lot with understanding Mocha and how to train her. We got Mocha at two weeks and she was my first puppy. I didn’t know how to train her very well. Karen was very patient with me and she really helped me with training Mocha. We will be going to training again soon!
About a year ago, my family got a second dog. This one was a rescue and not one that we got from a breeder. When we got him, he was traumatized from his past. He would bite people constantly and it got to the point that we thought we might have to put him down. We had already been going to daycare and training classes for our first dog. She did agility and loved it. She has so much fun doing agility and Karen is great with the dogs. As far as the rescue dog, we asked Karen if she thought that he had a chance. She told us to bring him in for a class so we did. The first week, Karen got bit numerous times by our dog. The whole time, she was patient and understanding. She knew he was a recue and had been badly abused. She worked with him and got him to walk on a leash, not bite, and overall be a great dog. Now, he is a great dog who is well behaved. Overall, Karen's is a lifesaver for our family and dogs. The staff there is amazing and always really helpful. I would 100% recommend Karen's for grooming, training, daycare, and boarding!
We've boarded our fur baby at Karen's over the past 5 years and have always had a good experience. Our pup is excited to be dropped off and comes home healthy and happy. The staff truly care about the physical (and emotional) well-being of the pets entrusted to their care.
I was very excited to start training classes with my 5 month old Golden. I needed help with his jumping and overall puppy craziness. Karen came highly recommended by her Google Reviews and seemed to have an abundance of knowledge when it came to tips and tricks I could use to calm my dog down. Her staff was also very friendly and kind to me while I was there. However, the issue came in when my dog nipped at Karen's hand because she was dragging him across the floor with a prong collar on (this was his first time wearing a collar like this so he was very nervous and didn't want to walk). Obviously dragging him across the floor was hurting him and he wanted her to stop. Her method to deal with his nip was to hit him...hard... in the middle of class... with everyone else watching. I should have spoken up when it happened but I was too shocked to speak. I don't blame Karen for being upset because he nipped her hand, but I do blame her for the way she handled it. He is just a puppy and all hitting will do is scare him more. Plus, who in their right mind would hit someone else's puppy in front of the entire class? I text Karen with the number she provided me on the first day of class offering to bring her prong collar she lent me back and explained to her that her training style was not for me. I also rightfully requested a partial refund for the classes I did not attend because she literally hit my dog and that is NOT what I signed up for. I haven't received a response. I am not sure if that number is a land line or a cell phone number so there is a chance she didn't even receive it. Nevertheless, the point I would like to get across is that I would not bring your puppy here for training. Hitting a puppy to correct a behavior is never acceptable in my eyes. I essentially just paid $125 for her to hit my dog. Very disappointed and upset.
Karen's is the best place for everything. Daycare, Boarding, and fantastic for dog training. They love our babies as much as we do. I have a miniature Border Collie, whom I thought was too much for me to handle. After Beginning Obedience class he is a totally different dog. So easy to handle now. Thank you Karen & all of your wonderful employees.
For much of my three months at at Karen's animal House I had a good experience, but my recent dog training experience there has led me to reevaluate my overall impression. When I arrived to training, I was shocked to see the use of prong collars being suggested for most dogs. While I understand that prong collars may be suitable for some larger dogs who may pose a risk to their owners, I believe it is a decision that needs to be taken with much more care and consideration. This is an addition to their method of training that is both outdated and close to being cruel. Karen's animal House subscribes to the belief of training that is typically categorized as submission or alpha dog training. This training involves regular exercises for submission and typically more negative reinforcement and in some cases actual physical contact against dogs or unnecessary restraint. The American Kennel Club and most trainers using scientifically proven methods have completely rejected this method as both outdated and counterproductive compared to positive reinforcement training. An important note is that alpha dog training can provide results quickly, but at the risk of adverse side effects such as increased anxiety or lack of trust. In my time at training, I saw two especially worrisome cases in just my first day. The first being where there was a young lab puppy who was excited to see another person and jumped on top of the trainer Karen. Karen responded by physically kneeing the dog in the stomach and yelling at it to stop until it fully submitted. I found this to be a dangerous and unnecessary response to a young puppy's excitement and it could have been handled with positive reinforcement and treats. Additionally, there was a dog who had never had a prong collar before and was refusing to walk. The response was for Karen to take the leash and physically drag it with a prong collar across the floor until the dog snapped and tried to bite. Dog aggression is, of course, scary, but this was a very obvious case of an anxious dog that should have been treated with positive reinforcement and treats instead of aggravating the anxiousness by dragging it across the floor in an unfamiliar circumstance and was fully preventable. Training did continue with some good reinforcement on healthy walking but I was told to give a strong leash yank for my dog when negative behavior was occurring and told it can’t hurt the dog. Even if it does not hurt the dog, it is still not good and could be much better treated with positive reinforcement such as treats. Training ended with an alpha roll which involves physically restraining your dog on the floor to get them to submit. Once again a technique that is based around submission and is not an effective method to have a dog who is confident and well behaved. It is instead a recipe for a dog who follows your command based on fear. This training experience has left me with no choice but to discontinue the services at Karen’s animal House. I have nothing but positive things to say for the staff working there such as Danielle at the front counter or Emily the groomer. However, I would strongly recommend against training at Karen’s animal House and it does leave me wondering if the same methods are employed at doggie daycare as well. I urge others to be cautious and seek training services elsewhere for the well-being of their dogs.
Marilyn is God's gift to dogs. I boarded my dog for a little over week and received updates regularly and was even encouraged to call whenever I wanted an update. My dog had a very strict medication schedule and Marilyn respected that and took the time to learn what each medication was and how to administer them. She is a very pleasant person to be around and you can tell she cares deeply for the animals she comes into contact with. She is also a very talented groomer! I will always recommend this location to anyone looking to groom and/or board their dog.
It was a great place in the past, now she has 100 excuses for not taking dogs. She'll talk your ear off instead of saying No. Very unprofessional. I am sure she takes only her favorite dogs. Waste of time to call.
Great folks taking Great care of our four legged friends !!!!
The sweetness shown to my aging dog for baths and nail care can not be overstated. Great prices, on time appointments, best groomer we have had in 3 cities where we have lived.
Marilyn and Nick are the best ! So kind and loving 🥰 We have a Havaneis and she does a great job on him 🐶! Our vet has even complimented on what a great job the groomer does !!! Very pleased ! We will never change groomers 💞
We had the most wonderful experience when our puppy needed to be groomed. They took such great care to not stress him during his first grooming experience. We will be back again and again.
Not a Cruces guy but this place would be in my rotation if I were. The Brisket Enchiladas (hot green) were top shelf. We split a pancake that was super good. My server was the best. Not too much food - just right. Looks like it could get full on weekends.
Old Mesilla Kennel has the most caring staff and well maintained kennel of all of Las Cruces. Throughout the years we have only used this kennel for our dogs and they love it there soooo much. There is no other kennel we would take them for the utmost of care. Rates are reasonably priced with a super owner.
This place is the cleanest, friendliest boarding and grooming facility in the area. The staff is highly professional and the 24/7 dog care by the onsite resident is exceptional. My dog loves to come here for both boarding and grooming and gets plenty of exercise in the indoor/outdoor runs and one-on-one playtime in the play yard. Please do not confuse this place with "Mesilla" Valley Pet Resort in the warehouse building on Amador. Old Mesilla Kennel & Grooming is on Avenida de Mesilla, just south of the Old Town Mesilla area in a country, wooded setting.
Love that they offer parking lot drop off and pick up. They listen to the type of cut we want even if it's not the "style" usually done on that breed.
I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough! They took care of my rabbits on multiple occasions and were so thorough and handled my bunnies with care. I appreciate that they were in constant contact with me and truly cared for my rabbits well being.
My husband and I found Lisa and Blue Ribbon online, and we are SO happy we chose her to care for our sweet little kitty while we were away recently. Lisa and her assistant Mariah put us at ease upon our first meeting, and their care and attention to all the details were super - we were able to enjoy a carefree getaway, knowing our cat was in excellent hands. Lisa runs a first-rate pet sitting business, and we won't hesitate to use her services again, as well as highly recommend Blue Ribbon Pet Sitting Services to anyone who needs great care for their four-leggers! Thank you, Lisa and Mariah!
Lisa does more than I would ever expect of someone. She not only takes care of our dog but she takes care of any issue in the house. She give full reports of everything and keeps in contact with us about everything. We feel totally comfortable traveling because of her. 5 stars is not enough!
Very professional, highly recommend
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My Doberman (who at the time was only a 6 month puppy) was boarded at Camp Calista for four days while I was on vacation. Upon picking her up before any greeting or introduction with the staff I was handed a copy of a photo where she chewed the drywall (must've been bored?). She also has had a complete personality change since being boarded here at "Camp Calista", it's unfair for me to assume but with her skiddish-ness unfair treatment had to have happened. I was really hoping to have a good experience like I did in the clinic but unfortunately that didn't happen. Please beware before boarding your precious puppy here!
Not everyone at Calistas is properly trained to properly care for handicapped pets. We left our 16 year old Shitzu who was deaf and blind for over a week while we were on vacation. I left alot of instructions and talked to people at Calistas several times during the week. He was so traumitized we had to put him to sleep this past Monday, because of their negligence.
My little girl loves day camp and she was well cared for when we boarded her for a week. Now she gets excited when we pull in the driveway of Camp Calista. Highly recommend!
Our dog loves going to daycare at Camp Calista. The staff is very kind to her even though she is a high strung border collie.
They took great care of our animals while they were recovering from surgery. The lady in front was very nice and had them bring our animals right out front to us.
Great place for your little critters to be cared for when you are away.
Went to find out prices very reasonable and staff very friendly
Alex is a Fantastic, very skilled & kind dog groomer. He took care of both my darling pups in record time. Sorry I forgot to take "after" pics this time. The attached pic is from the first time Alex groomed Blossom. We will definitely go back to Alex & will include pics in my next post.
We had an appointment for grooming on Saturday May 4th, 2024 and the groomer was a no show. My wife waited for someone to show but to no avail. We were unable to contact the owner. Previous visits were good.
Thank you so much to Alex for making my Snowball look like a show dog! I know bichons are hard to groom, but you hit it out of the park! Thank you thank you thank you! We will be back when we are in town again!
Thank you for having the self pet wash! Traveling in our RV it gave us a great option on getting our pups nice and clean!
I have been taking my dogs to MVPR for four years and they have loved it. The staff are always helpful and demonstrate that they truly care for their "guests." I love the enormous indoor recreation area that gives the dogs an air conditioned play area in the summer. Whenever I ask my current canine companion whether she wants to go to doggy daycare, she gets excited and can't wait to jump in the car and go. Her wagging tail is the best review that could ever be written.
Alex is amazing!!! He put this fur mama's heart at ease about leaving my sweet girl. He gave me a complete tour and he answered ALL the questions i had. He was freaking amazing with Letty and she loved it!!! Highly recommend and entire staff we interacted with were great!!! We will definitely be back soon!!
At other Kennels our dogs sometimes come home anxious and we had to drag them inside for their boarding. Since we have started coming here they are happy to come inside and see their friends here. Great workers they always greet our dogs by name and come give them attention as soon as they see them, you can feel the love they have for my girls. They now come home happy and 0 Anxiety
My dog's a super friendly girl who gets along with everyone. She was totally panicked when I picked her up after only 4 hours at Mesilla Valley Pet Resort. I've NEVER seen her so thirsty in the 4 years I've had her. She was absolutely desperate for water & couldn't drink enough. A few days later, she came down with a severe respiratory infection. I regret leaving her in their cArE. Obviously we will not be going back.
Very affordable rates, the staff that I dealt with were all very nice. My dog usually doesnt do well around strangers but she did good with the staff there. Will definitely use their services again if we are out of town for an extended fime.
Dr. Carver has a vaccination clinic at this location every Friday and other locations as well. Dr Carver is an incredible Veterinarian. She cares deeply for all the animals and does amazing for their care . Now this is a woman that helps the community buy adjusting her prices to be affordable for people that love animals , providing homes filled with love, safety and care, but have limited budgets. Thank you, Dr. CARVER you are incredible. ❤🌹💐
My dogs have been going for a long time for Day Camp and Boarding and we absolutely love it! Staff is very friendly and patient! They have newly renovated rooms for boarding that are very nice and spacious. Price is great especially with how nice everything is! By far the best facility in town!
Dogs were there for Les than 24 hours (3pm-1pm) and charged for 2 days. There was never a deadline mentioned to state they would charge two days. They stated a price over the phone and did not honor it. Extremely disappointed with the upper staff level. Edited.. We never asked for a full refund, we asked y’all to make your wrong right and said we would accept partial credit of the EXTRA that we paid. We were told it would be $75 at the time we booked over the phone, and told her we would NOT be picking up before 10am and she did not say anything about paying more. The price for one day is what we expected to pay, especially when our dogs were there for less than 24 hours. This should be a learning opportunity to make sure correct pricing is stated to customers. The error was not on our end.
DOUBLE CHARGED would not refund or give credit for future use. Upper management scammed almost $100. Highly recommend any other local company or even better would be Rover! Extremely disappointed as I have found out we are not the first people this has happened to.
I guess they don't do first day report cards anymore because when my chihuahua boarded and had day camp here recently, I didn't receive any kind of reports and if I didn't ask them how my dog did, they wouldn't have told me anything. When I was taking my dog's blanket and toy back to my car I noticed they were wet and stunk like pee. I assume she really was fine here for the most part, but I don't know if I'd go back.
Stay away, far, far away. The owners never reached out to me after I saw one of their employees throw a little dog into the small dog area. The receptionist said that she had reviewed the video and that the young lady "tripped" 🤣 😂 while putting the dog in the cage!!!! My dog kept trying to get out of there by trying to scale the chain link fence, when before she couldn't wait to get there!!!
I boarded my dogs at this location while traveling on a family vacation. I will say I do believe my dogs were well taken care of, but there were quite a few issues throughout the process. I had a drop off appointment at 7 am in order to catch my flight afterwards. Once arriving, I was told by the cleaning staff that the receptionist was running late. After waiting for 45 minutes and 5+ owners showing up to drop off their pets with no one to help (nor anyone answering the phone), I eventually went to the back of the facility to find someone to assist. He was very kind and apologized and attempted to get ahold of the owner, to my understanding to no avail. None the less, he assisted everyone in checking in pets and did his best to gather their information. I then picked my dogs up on the following Tuesday morning on the scheduled time. I paid for the boarding and the dogs were brought out in a timely manner. I live an hour out of town and almost made it home when I got a call that one of my dogs medications had failed to make it in with their stuff returned to me. I had to make another two hour round trip to get them (She has to have them daily and had not been mediated that morning). On the next day I received a call that I had been under charged when I picked the dogs up, the incorrect number was typed into the credit card machine. I’m not typically a complainer and I do understand that mistakes happen, but the whole situation seemed very unorganized. Again I don’t have any complaints with how my dogs were taken care of, and the staff were all very kind, but there is definitely room for improvement in certain areas.
My Prinny aka Princess is a very introverted rescue border collie. It took me 2 months just to be able to pet her. I work long hours 10-12 hours at a local vet clinic and was sad about leaving my kiddo at home all day so decided to enroll her in doggy daycare. The staff took extra time to make sure she was appropriately cared for. At first she was very hesitant and scared... What surprised me was how truthful the staff was about her behavior. She's a tough cookie to accommodate for but they let me know in all honesty how she did throughout the day and that she was more anti social towards the end of the day and hid under the play equipment during he first few daycare sessions. Its very easy for places to lie and just say "yup your dog did great see you later."...and I truly appreciate the feedback. I kept bringing her and sure enough after about 6 daycare sessions she's starting to really enjoy it and even wags when we arrive. I'll definitely be boarding and using these daycare services long term. Thanks for all the care guys! I truly appreciate it! The curbside is A+ (and hard work for all of us essential employees). They're always out in a timely manner. The employees seem passionate about their jobs and everything so far has been perfect for me. I hope my kiddo really starts blossoming more do I can bring her a few more days per week. -Amanda
Pet Planet goes above and beyond for their furry clients! My Shoeshine Boy was a very happy camper there. Shoeshine is only 6.5 lbs and at first, I was concerned that he'd get hurt or be left out but daily reports confirmed that he was happy and loving the new friends and play environment! I don't leave him often but when I must, I will only use Pet Planet for my Shoeshine Boy!
I took my 2 lil guys in for daycare while we were traveling through town and had a great experience! I was able to provide all documents via their app and they provided a report card at the end of the day. I had 2 happy and tired boys! 🐾💗 …
Not impressed how they handled both of my dogs. They ran out of food 6 days in the stay... I had given them 2 weeks worth of food. They don't seem to know how to handle anxious pets.
Cooool
I have been using Michelle's pet and home sitting services for five years now. Michelle is very responsible, professional and conscientious. She takes great care of my dogs, my horses and mule and my home. She gives me peace of mind when I am away. I cannot say enough good things about Michelle. My dogs and horses and mule love Michelle too. I highly recommend Michelle and Home Alone Pet & Home Sitting Services.
We've used Ms. Michelle now 4 times and are confident to say this is the worst pet sitter we've ever came across. And we had quite a hand full. Here is why.. But before that I want to make sure that I state only our experiences and encounters with her. She might be great with others but this is our story. First off she is being always very rude when we asked for her service. We have 3 large dogs and 4 cats. The cats are simple... Open cans and bring our a bowl of dry food to the outside cat and check the water. The dogs are outside dogs and require extra care for being outside in their diet and only get the best foods and supplements for their well-being. They have a summer and winter diet. First we didn't wanted to overload her in her first two visits and introduced her slowly with the supplements adding to their food. Well she schooled my husband for harming the abimals changing their diet when asked to add supplements! Their diet never changed. Only in the summer the canned food is chilled in the fridge and the supplements are also always the same just that she has to add them for the 3 to 4 days. Then in her description of duties online is scooping doogy poop ... What that NEVER happened. As well as watering plants (Never done), taking the trash out (Only twice out of the 4 times) and mostly spending time with the animals. We have surveillance that records on motion. Which showed that spending time with the animals I guess is optional. We have a puppy that is still a little hyper and loves to jump. Well we saw there shoving him and elbow him to get out of the way the first two times. The next two times you see him always hiding behind the two girl dogs that also don't come close to her anymore. It broke our hearts seeing this. All she does is putting food out and walks the back porch up and down ONCE and that's it. I understand 30 minutes are not much to share with our Zoo and wash the dishes but for $20 a visit I expect her to give them some love. When we mentioned this to her she complained that she had to spend a lot of time reading through our instructions we send her two weeks prior her service. We asked her to come by for us to show it to her in person but she declined due to, and I'm repeating her exact text back, "I DON'T HAVE TIME!!!!!". Well don't you prepare yourself in advance? Or just do it on the time you're supposed to spend with the animals! No YOU come prepared to your job! And especially if you're already got instructions weeks ago and are in business for "over 12 years..". But the worse that happen we caught her live on camera. She came in and talked to one of the cats greeting her in the kitchen where we have a camera ever since pointing to the entrance and backdoor looking over the hallway and kitchen to see the kitties and doggies when they eat and also for security in the first place. She noticed the camera and I repeat her verbage "Don't tell me you have a camera... Because I don't like it!" and turns it so you can't see anything anymore besides wall. When we asked her why she did that and to please put it back in place she lied and said she just picked it up to look at because she wanted one for her own and must have put it back wrong. Well she didn't know it records audio as well. Sadly I can't attach the video here but to whom ever is interested we have the videos and screenshots of the whole conversations in text, which we gladly share. The next day she turned it back while arguing to herself about not liking cameras and while in her service she comes back with a kitchen towel and puts it over it saying "I don't like this, sorry...." while laughing. If this would be a sitter for your kids I ask you all would you allow this from a experienced, and licenced sitter? What does she has to hide we asked ourselves and noticed on her last visit that she walked around the house looking for more cameras maybe but the others are hidden. That really put a very unsettling feeling into us and we cancelled her remaining service to come home early from vacation! We do not recommend her.
