Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Don't hesitate to book this family of three, your house and your pets will be well-looked after!
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! We would ask them back again.
Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Do not hesitate to contact her for your pet sitting needs. I already have her booked for 10/2024 so don’t try and get her then!!!😁
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Rebecca was the best pet sitter ever! Our chocolate lab, Kona, fell in love with her instantly and loved every minute of being around her. She was extremely attentive to Kona, taking him for daily walks and she did a great job of sending us updates, video clips and photos. We really loved that, knowing that Kona was being so well taken care of. As my husband said, "OMG, she is the Dog Sitter Champion of the world!!!" She is definitely at the top of our list for future dog sitting. If we could give her 10 stars, we would! Thank you so very much, Rebecca! You were amazing! The best ever!!!
I have had 4 pet sitters this year so far. And Liz was the best! She was wonderful with cats. She has an easy going manner and is very comfortable to be around. Very smart and she is a great communicator. She followed all directions and left the house spotless. I highly, highly, highly recommend her! I would have her again anytime!

Jefferson took great care of my baby!! He was very accommodating and communicative. I very much appreciate him taking such good care and taking videos of her stay. She had a blast with the other pups!
CJ takes amazing care of our shepherd mix! She is always happy and healthy when she comes home and we love the videos he sends while we are away! Highly recommend!
We have been working with CJ for over two years with our Bernese Mountain Dog (100 lbs). We have consistently had a fantastic experience and CJ makes traveling in and out of SEATAC very seamless. He is great at communicating updates with daily videos and always has pick up and drop off details nailed down. Most importantly, our dog looks forward to his time here as he spends the weekend playing with the other pups all day, with CJ supervising for safety. He takes great care of our boy!
CJ has taken care of dogs for our family for many years, since December 2019. He is professional and considerate in his planning whether boarding our dog at his home or crafting a regular weekday walk schedule. Our first dog, Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge in summer 2023. He now walks our new puppy who is happy to see him every time he comes to take him for a walk. Leo gets so excited to see him and he provides us with updates via text. We highly recommend him if you’re in the market for a dog walker or sitter.
CJ has been taking care of our furry trio for years now and they love going there. Whenever we make it to his driveway, they seemingly forget that we exist and sprint to his backyard. Being able to drop our dogs off with someone who is professional and capable has been a blessing. Also being able to park our car and shuttle to the airport has made going on trips easier for us. One underrated perk of letting our dogs stay with CJ is that he posts daily videos on IG/Youtube so we're able to see our dogs while we're out of town! 10/10 would recommend!
Jefferson has been caring for our dogs for about 2 years and we've never previously had anyone as kind, thoughtful, reliable, flexible, and thorough as he is to care for our dogs! We are so grateful for all the love he gives our pups, and the regular updates we get about them when we are traveling. Truly the best around for all your dog-care needs!
CJ has been taking care of our two dogs for over five years. With meticulous attention to the needs of our babies and on going care when we have needed to be away from them. Our one dog has medical needs and is always in good hands when we are not there. Our dogs love their walks with him.
CJ is amazing! Our pup Duke adores CJ. He is beyond trustworthy and so loving to Duke. We fully trust CJ and appreciate him walking Duke for over 4 years! Thank you for all that you do CJ!
I've been taking my puppers to Fur Babies since I moved up to this area (4 years now). I trust him implicitly with our fur baby and also consider him a good friend now. I can't tell you how easy it makes traveling for us, reducing any worry that can come from dropping your dog off with a kennel or someone you don't fully know. Our dogs have always had a great time, and I know that because he also takes time to send us hilarious videos (nearly daily) of our dogs having grand old times playing with his own dogs or some of the other pups he may be watching at the time. I've already recommend his services to my good friends and coworkers and they've all had great experiences as well. Can't recommend enough!
I love South Seattle Fur Babies! CJ is wonderful with our Great Dane, Petie. She is so excited every time CJ comes to take her on walks and she is thrilled to be dropped off for boarding. I am able to be at ease when she is with CJ because I know she is in good hands. He is calm, loving and clearly communicates with her. It is obvious he loves his job and the animals he cares for. Couldn’t ask for more!
Brittany is wonderful! She is a great communicator which helps a ton. All of our animals loved her instantly, even the 20 pound kitty. Our pup does the weekly field trips and LOVES them. We know where they are going ahead of time, and always see photos of her in action- happy as can be. Our pup cannot wait for Brittany to come for her weekly field trips. We also have an escape artist kitty, and that hasn't been a problem, which is a huge relief. Sit'N Stay has been a great asset for our (furry) family.
Brittany is extraordinary at what she does. I can't praise her enough and highly recommend her to you. Because of a fall outside my building that took me away from home for 7 weeks, I engaged with Brittany under emergency circumstances. She felt the need to be there for me and my precious kitty and did not hesitate to start seeing him right away. She had great compassion for his emotional needs and provided many strategies to help him stay calm and have fun. Every time she saw him, I received a report card from her along with a photo of my Cheeto. She shopped for everything he needed since I was unable to do that. I had absolutely 0 worries because of her high level of responsible care of my much loved companion. Do not hesitate to contact Brittany for your pet care needs.💜💜💜
Our dogs love Brittany! As a former Vet Tech and true dog-lover, she takes incredible care of both of our pets, minding their individual needs including caring for our old, diabetic guy. Brittany is reliable, professional, available, consistent and trusted. She is super communicative with updates and pictures and we feel very lucky to have found her!
My animals love Brittany & the Lab waits for her at the front window. She has so much compassion, care & love for my furry babies & will “Always” go above & beyond. I completely trust Brittany & “Highly” recommend her services.
Once again, Brittany saved me! Or, my dog actually. Brittany is a good friend of mine, and when I have a dog issue, she gets a crazy and panicked message from me. One of my dogs has had an issue for a few days and I sent Brittany pics and a description. She told me what to do, and what she thought it was. She also told me it was time to get her to the vet. Brittany was spot on. She believed it was a GI irritation and told me Coco needed a probiotic, a specific bland diet, and that the vet would likely prescribe a certain antibiotic. The vet basically said, word for word, everything Brittany said, down to the exact antibiotic. I live in a different state, but if I were near Burien, I wouldn't hesitate to have Brittany care for my dogs. Not only will she love them like her own, she's incredible during an animal emergency and knows just what to do, even long distance :)
Brittany and Barry give full attention to caring for your furry friend while you're away. Updates are sent to you, including pictures, via a secure portal. Highly recommended service.
Brittany is the best! I do not know what I would do without her and I am so thankful our paths have crossed!
We cant say enough great things about these ladies. Our 3 babies love their aunties and their aunties love them back. Here is to more great times and fun in 2020!🥰💞
I'm so glad to have found them. Reliable, clear communication, transparent with prices. When I first reached out, we did a meet and greet and they gathered all the information they needed (and were so sweet with the fur babies!). Started with cat sitting for a weekend - they did everything we talked about and it was so reassuring to know my cat was so well taken care of. Now they come regularly for dog walking each week. They always show up, they text a visit report and photos, and can handle the different temperaments of the two dogs. I trust them and highly recommend them!
We found Duck Duck Moose when our reactive dog got "deferred" from her second doggie daycare--just a few days before we left for a family trip! We were in a pickle and felt like our options were limited. AJ and Anneka responded quickly and helped us come up with a solution! They have been walking our nervous/sweet/occasionally-lungy Coco a couple times a week for the last eight months and have partnered with us to work on her leash reactivity--with impressive progress! They are communicative, professional, and personable. Our fur babies love them and we love working with them. Highly recommend!!
Anneka and AJ are fantastic! They did a phenomenal job watching our dog and two cats while we were on vacation. They sent summaries of every visit, as well as tons of photos. It was clear our animals were in good hands. Their communication is great, and they always replied swiftly to our texts. We highly recommend them, and would love to hire them again in the future!
Anneka and AJ are fantastic! I trust them completely to take wonderful care of my (very sweet, but very needy) cat, who requires a lot of love and attention while I'm away. Their detailed updates provide me so much peace of mind, and their communication is always clear and prompt. I get a summary of every visit with start/end times and cute pictures. So happy to have found a reliable pet sitting company in West Seattle, highly recommend!
My pups love Anneka and A.J! I have two huskies, so getting them tired is a tough job! Anneka is thoughtful and has taken the time to build a strong bond with Winston and Matilda. When they hear come near the front door, they start howling in excitement, they love her so :) And they’re so well behaved when they walk with her!
They loved our cat, and he loved them! They are really great communicators. The Apple Live Photos they would send felt like we were there with him, even though we were across the country. Would definitely recommend them.
AJ and Anneka were phenomenal! They walked our dog while we were away on vacation and humored all of my requests to help ensure I was comfortable with their work. Our little man was spoiled with the quality of their interactions and we had some fantastic pictures to squee over while we were away. Would call them again in a heartbeat!
We’ve loved the sweet & professional care that Anneka has shown our two labs. She has been tremendously flexible in accommodating our variable schedules & sends the best photo updates!
Anneka took great care of our cats while we were out of town! She sent pictures and gave detailed reports at the end of each visit. No issues, no concerns. Our cats are happy!! We will definitely ask Anneka to watch our cats again.
Anneka has been nothing but wonderful. I’ve always appreciate the updates I get about my dog along with the adorable pics! She is trustworthy, reliable, and has awesome communication. I highly recommend her!
My little girl loves going to Paws & Relax Doggie Daycare. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and personable. Whether it’s for half a day, full day, or boarding; my dog loves to come. All of the dogs have smiles on their faces. The staff obviously uses positive training methods. It really is a joy to see. I’m happy to find this wonderful place where my dog feels loved and cares for. I highly recommend Paws & Relax.
Great place! We have taken our dog for boarding and everyone is so friendly. They let you see where the dog is staying and are very accommodating. We used to go to another local boarding/daycare place and did not have this same positive experience. Would definitely recommend!
Do you love your furbaby? This is the absolute BEST doggy daycare, the people here absolutely love dogs they care for your dog like you would. This is BAR NONE the best place for your dog to go, the safest, the most transparent. We went there for over a year and miss them so very much. You want your dog safe and happy and you want peace of mind that they are well cared for and not just kenneled or treated abusively well you will have peace of mind here and your pup will be beyond thrilled to go here.
Did doggy daycare here twice, and it was fine. We had a reservation for boarding 2/15-2/17, confirmed as of Fri. 2/12. Showed up 2/15 to drop off our dog only to find no one there, no one answering the phone, and a handwritten sign stating they'd be closed that day. I understand things happen, but to not inform clients who were relying on boarding is not ok. My family was flying out for a family event that day. Luckily another facility was able to accommodate our emergency need.
We love the staff at Paws and Relax! We started taking our dog to paws and relax last year and the staff was incredible. So kind that they even gave suggestions about how to ensure our dog had the best time. Ultimately, our dog is just too timid for the mid-week daycare so now we only go to small dog Saturday but I really appreciated how kind and honest the staff were about it. They really care about their dogs and want to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Big kudos to AC and Dominique! I highly recommend this spot if your dog likes day cares.
This would be a great daycare if your dog is more into playing w/ other dogs in a small setting & doesn’t need much stimulation. My dog is more toy motivated, needs room to stretch his legs & prefers building bonds w/ the humans in charge at daycares. We’ve actively attended 10 daycares over the last 4 yrs (travel nurse) where he has done extremely well but this daycare just wasn’t the vibe for him - I should have done more research, the pics online make it look much bigger than it is & having reactive dogs mixed in which means no toy play when those dogs are present was a big shock to me. So something to think about if your dog has any of these high stim hyper focused human loving qualities (: good luck on your searches. Doggie daycare is such a vital service.
My first time there with my daughter's dog. She was ready to knock down the doors to get it. So she loves it. I found the attendant (owner?) to be friendly, personable and professional. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my daughter's dog there for a good part of the day. Good overall feeling and experience!
Paws and Relax is the best - I have been dropping off my darling dog here for the past 2.5 years. Their drop off/pick up hours are the best in the area, bar none. Dominique knows every client and knows exactly what’s going on at Paws and Relax. They have a stringent vaccine policy and I always feel safe when dropping my dog Caroline there - they treat her like a princess and she loves them so!
Our dog knows when we take the exit off the freeway where he’s going to go. He’s all excited and ready for an adventure. The people here are great and really involved in your pets day. I’d recommend just based on how much my dog loves it but the people that work here are the icing on the cake!
Such a great place! The employees are friendly, personable and really care about your dog. I've been to some doggy daycares where all the dogs just bark non-stop. Here, they maintain order while keeping a relaxed and playful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
We have been using Run Spot Run since 2012. We formerly had two dogs (a Bichon and a Mini Aussie) who both loved Susan and her facility. Now we have a Maltipoo, Lily, who loves to go there to play. She has no clue she's in daycare...it's just a play day. Susan has also rescued us on several occasions when we had family medical emergencies and called for her assistance, which she provided without hesitation. Susan has become a friend and we highly value the service she provides to our family. Sometimes we just need a helping hand with Lily, and she is there to offer it. Thank you, Susan!
I can't say enough good things about Susan, the owner of Run Spot Run. We have a miniature dachshund (who also happens to be called Susan!) and she LOVES going over to play with her friends at Susan's place. This is the perfect setup for us because Susan is an amazing caretaker who cares for our pup just like we would, and also because our pup enjoys smaller crowds than typically found at a doggie daycare so she really gets into great play habits and loves coming back again and again. We'll be lifetime customers as long as Susan will have us :)
Susan is the best! She is truly the most loving dog sitter i've met! She truly enjoys everything about dogs! We love that we can always rely on her and feel so comfortable sending our pup to her house. She is always so nice and wonderful with being flexible if we are in a pinch or need to extend the stay! I would highly recommend her!
Susan has welcomed our family dog Lily into her home for many years. I appreciate that Susan determines the temperament of each dog before she accepts them as part of the pack. I never worry that Lily is getting bullied by another dog. Susan goes above and beyond to provide a safe, clean, fun "home away from home," a place Lily loves!
Susan is a phenomenal dog walker and has come to the rescue of my partner and I on numerous occasions. She was so sweet and loyal to our pup that when it was time to put him down she even came to say goodbye. It was a true testament to how she cares about all pets. Our dog was not just another client needing a walk - she truly cared about him like he was her own. Wonderful lady, wonderful business she has.
We love bringing out two pups to Susan every chance we get. Susan is very professional and caring with our dogs. She caters to their every need and has an exceptional setup for our little pups with a great, fenced-in yard and plenty of toys inside and out. Do not hesitate to bring your furry loved ones to Susan!
After searching for the best fit for our dameranian, we chose Run Spot Run. Susan is very personable and knowledgable about each dogs needs, and treats our dog like her own. Service costs are very reasonable. Her dogs are compatible with our dog and they enjoy playing together. We live in a condo, so bringing our dog to Susan's is a real treat, as our dog is able to run freely within a large fenced area. We highly recommend her business.
Run Spot Run's owner Susan is the most kind and caring pet sitter you can possibly imagine! When you leave your pup you KNOW that they will be attended to in such a way that you are completely confident that she is taking care of your "family" with nothing but love and respect. I cannot recommend her highly enough!! My little Phil comes home happy and content.
I love knowing that Susan will be looking after my cat when I am away. She is incredibly reliable and responsive and genuinely cares about your pet. She is a very kind person and always follows the instructions I leave for her. I highly recommend her!
Her website list dogs under 20lbs are accepted, my initial email stated that my dog is 18lbs and she replied that he was too big. Please adjust the information on your website to align with your policies.
Lady Di doggy daycare and boarding is fantastic. Our dog, Pippi is actually pretty shy and was very nervous with our previous doggy day care. Now she runs up the stairs to see her friends! Pippi clearly adores everyone who is at Lady Di. We feel totally comfortable boarding her there too. One less thing to worry about when we have to travel. We have also used Lady Di's for in home pet care for our cat, Sophie. We were totally confident that she would get great care while we were gone and we were right. Sophie was happy to see us but happy, healthy, and friendly when we returned. Thank you to everyone at Lady Di Pet chaperone. I can't recommend them enough!
My labradoodle loves Lady Di Pet Chaperone! Kaia goes several days per week and has boarded. She’s always happy to get dropped off and adores the staff! So glad we found Lady Di’s!
Great place for small dogs. They take care of your pets like they are their own in an open environment. My dogs had a great vacation there! Staff is amazing. Will definitely be bringing my kids back.
It's tough to let someone into your home when you're traveling, so finding someone like Sarah - kind, trustworthy, reliable... and a true animal lover is wonderful. Sarah is simply amazing. We've taken a couple of trips to care for ailing family members and she's provided home visit care for our shy cat, Tucker. Not only does she do the basics - feeding, cleaning the box, giving pets (if he lets her get close enough) - she also reports on anything unusual that she happens to see. Knowing she's here to care for Tucker has helped us focus on family matters without worrying about how our kitty is doing in our absence. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Sarah and her team. My active goldendoodle loved going to daycare sessions ahead of my 12-day trip overseas. I felt totally relaxed leaving her there. It's obvious they take care. I would totally use them again!
We are so grateful to Lady Di Pet Chaperone and staff for taking such wonderful care of our 5 month old puppy. I was forced to find a daycare after getting a not so nice note from a neighbor. I had seen this place close to where I live so I decided to check them out after doing research and reading reviews. After completing the application and sending an e-mail, I was contacted immediately. He has been going there almost two months and he is a very happy dog. He is excited to go and gets home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. Because of his positive interactions and the great care from the staff, he is friendly around people and other dogs. As for me, I am able to go to work without feeling guilty because I know he is in good hands. It is evident that Sarah and her staff really love and care about what they do.
Excellent place to care for dogs while out of town. I am very confident to leave Bowie with Sara and her team ❤️ highly recommended.
Sarah and team are amazing. Our puppy absolutely loves going. They take such great care of him and are so communicative. We are so incredibly thankful to have them in our lives.
Huge thank you to Lady Di for watching our Golden Doodle over the past few years! Everyone at Lady Di is professional with a great attitude, and it definitely was the highlight of the work week for our Pup, who could not wait to get there each morning and was always exhausted when we came to pick her up. Thank you, Lady Di!
Best care ever for our puppy! They make sure our boy is active and enjoying the time socializing with other dogs.
We love Camp Crocket! Our dog loves the staff, especially the "Dude at the front desk" we call him Juno's Dog Father, like the Godfather. ❤️. She gets so excited just pulling into the driveway and she is always in good spirits when she comes home. I've boarded her many times and when she comes home all she wants to do is get back to the pack. She is our baby and they take great care of her, we in turn are so grateful to the staff.
Woods & Clay absolutely love it here! They are exited to go, they even know when we are heading down their street. When I pick them up, Woods walks out happy as can be carrying his brothers leash all the way to the car. I recommend to all my friends!
Camp Crockett has worked very well for our overnight boarding needs for our min pin Dixie. We appreciate that the management requires more vaccinations and fecal test since this protects all animals. The wranglers are good at herding the dogs and providing the pack leadership to reduce the boredom and potential conflicts. Dixie loved the dog pile sleep dog over and of course came home healthy.
We love Camp Crockett. They take really good care of our fur family. The owners care a lot about the welfare of your dogs. It isn’t the type of operation where the owners are managing it remotely, they are actually involved in the day to day. They have specific standards about temperament and vaccination as well as fecal tests. Not every dog is eligible, one of ours is not, it doesn’t mean that your dog is a bad dog, it just means they are not suited to a dog camp type environment. That is the way to make sure every pup is safe and has a good time.
Camp Crocket has 3 locations, the place on 35th, is for small dogs, the overnight location is in Burien, close to the airport for easy vacation accommodations. Plan ahead, there are some initial meet/greet and proof of vaxxinations you will need to handle. The staff is very sweet with the dogs, nice and down to business with the humans. Overall, we really like our experiences at those two locations.
Our 7 mo old puppy loves coming to Camp Crocket. He is a high energy guy and always comes home tired which is awesome. It has also been a great way to socialize him with other dogs during Covid. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. They also provide grooming services which is so convenient.
Joe and his family and staff ❤️ are PAWsome caretakers for my Dachshund Wally. Wally enjoys both Little Campers on 35th Ave SW and boarding at their Burien Camp and we're confident our furbaby is always in loving hands.
Yes, your dogs have to pass a behavioral test before they can stay; I appreciate that (even mildly) aggressive dogs are not welcome. Yes, you have to comply with their high vaccination protocols; I appreciate knowing that all of the dogs there are current on this and healthy. Both of these "complaints" from other reviewers work to create a safer environment for my pups. They LOVE Camp Crockett, get the best grooming in town there, and enjoy cage-free/in-home boarding. We are so thankful to have found such an outstanding place for the pups! I've toured several other play and boarding spaces, and nothing compares.
Went through the entire application process and paid for a fecal test for both of my dogs in order to get them registered only to be told 1 hour before our Temperament test that our dogs would not be allowed at camp. I explained thoroughly on my application my rescue dogs short history of altercations and ensured that they have been through extensive training since then. This should have been discussed on our initial intake call instead of letting us know so soon before our appointment, when I was already excited to come in. No where on the application does it say that dogs will be rejected for ANY history of aggression/altercations whatsoever. I feel like this should have been added to the very first page with the registration requirements. It would have saved us time, money, and grief. This place came recommended by a friend of ours who knows our dogs and assured us that the camp was very accommodating to dogs with special care needs. We'd been getting our hopes up that our pitbull would feel at home here, but it was just a frustrating experience overall.
I truly think Camp Crockett owners have a great business and are trustworthy people. My only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is because there is always room for improvement and I would like to see updates from staff when boarding for several days, as an added courtesy. I have taken my dog (a Schnoodle) to both Little Campers and boarded her for up to 5 nights at the Burien location and will continue to do so.
Only attended puppy class here. What’s clear is the trainers all train with positive methods and care for dogs. A lot of them are on the list of recommended trainers for greater Seattle area. Puppy class itself was a bit of a disappointment. All of the information the trainers share with you are pretty basic and can be found on YouTube, so unless you’re completely clueless - it won’t be that helpful. I’m a new dog owner and even I found the information too basic. You’re essentially paying to be in a space with other puppies and my guess is a lot of training schools charge for this service because they know new puppy owners don’t have too many choices for socializing their dog. Classes are broken up into approximately 4-6 minutes of play and then approximately 10 minutes of just sitting with your puppy on leash on mat while you listen to the trainers talk. They give a lot of different types of treats, but they’re all economical choices. If your dog has any sensitivities I would suggest bringing lots of your own treats to keep them focused throughout class. I definitely don’t like the fact that they use cream cheese and string cheese sometimes for high value treats because most dogs just get diarrhea and gas from dairy. The class content also feels very on-the-fly because new people can join each session, so you’ll also probably see repeated content in your later classes. By the end of my sessions, going to class was kind of a drag. If I did it again, I’d probably try to find 1x1 sessions with a trainer I vibe with. Of the trainers I met in the classes, I wouldn’t want to hire them even though they’re knowledgeable and effective. It’s hard to gauge personality matches for these things and it’s a very personal choice. TLDR: Trainers with good experience and intentions, small business with some disorganization, class experience probably depends on the type of class you take and who’s teaching the class. A lot of the good reviews I see are with Reactive Redo classes and Danette Johnson (owner/founder), she didn’t teach my puppy class. Unfortunately my first experience was so subpar, I wouldn’t really consider the school again unless I had limited options.
We are currently in the middle of our second class. The instructor is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We've picked up a ton of great tips and games that we have worked into our daily lives. Our relationship with our dog has already improved so much, we're looking forward to being able to take some of the enrichment courses here as well. Highly recommend checking out the blog. And best of all, the training is positivity based which is fun and sustainable.
Took my pup here for their puppy training camp, and then for basic training. They use positive reinforcement, and have fantastic trainers who are always willing to answer questions. I was impressed with both courses and all the instructors. Would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to start training their pup.
My puppy attended the puppy training camp, and the trainers were fantastic. My puppy had a limp at one point, and we were able to reschedule when she was better. They were really accommodating, and ultimately my puppy got the training she needed! Super cute graduation certificate, and puppy report card. We will be back for more training classes for her!
I did the online dog training with Danette Johnston. Danette is so knowledgeable about dogs behavioral needs and really trains the human owners to recognize their dogs responses and tune in. Her training course is compassionate, humane, and in line with what science tells us about dog behavior.
I’ve done private training with Danette and an evening workshop with Erica and everything has been great! They’re experienced and knowledgeable certified trainers and Dog’s Day Out has the best selection of interesting classes, workshops, and activities I’ve seen.
I really enjoy the teachers and my atmosphere at Dog's Day Out. Good people who know their craft!
Very solid training programs. Some of the trainers are very good. The teen play sessions are particularly helpful.
I've taken my dog here for training and nosework classes and all the instructors are great! We love going here!
Wonderful small group training with knowledgeable and kind dog trainers.
I had such a wonderful time visiting and exploring this Pet Shop. So much thought behind every product on the shelves and you can feel the love Toni (The owner) has for her profession. I also learned that Toni won an award for Best Dog Groomer 23', which is quite impressive to have in our county. Wonderful shop to support locally! Might I add, fair pricing?
Rain and Shine has been a wonderful addition to local businesses here in Shelton. They have a great selection of goodies for animals. I come in here every other week for dog food and usually end up buying a few treats for the doggos. They are always friendly and happy to see customers come in! Thank you for the great service.
Todd and Christie are such wonderful people. They have been a blessing to me and my baby blue pup for a few years now. Todd has been super awesome to work with. My dog is always so much more happier to have a visit when I'm busy working bringing home the kibbles. I highly recommend these guys.
Christy and Todd took care of my boys for two years before I moved. This is by far the best option for you and your pets- don’t hesitate. They are trustworthy, reliable, understanding and professional. Not sure how I would have survived without them. It’s with every penny and more
For 10 months, Todd and Christy of Rain or Shine Pet Care walked my mom’s dog. My mom has memory issues and is in assisted living and could no longer walk her dog, so they took over - four times a day, every day, holidays and weekends, rain or shine. They NEVER missed. And the kindness and compassion they showed my mom was extraordinary. Frosty loved going for his walks, and would be so excited to see Todd. They are simply the best; if I could give them 12 stars I would.
Took care of my cat while I was on vacation, I got daily pictures/videos. They were highly responsive to any questions or concerns, I felt like my cat was very well taken care of during my absence. Would recommend if you need a sitter in the area!
I used them last year and they made my little doggy so comfortable while I was of town for a week for my nieces funeral. They are family oriented and kids are just as involved. Nice family! I would definitely recommend them again.
Todd and Christy have been awesome for our senior dog. Highly recommend.
I give u 5 stars in advance lol do you guys take care cats while the owners work?
Our dog just stayed there for 10 days. He came home with kennel cough. Noone informed us that he had kennel cough so I question if they actually watch the wellness of the dogs and if they actually took him out for the extra walks that we purchased. His bedding was soaking wet when we picked him up and he smelled bad despite getting a bath enfore we dropped him off. They obviously don't keep an eye on the dogs not properly clean the cages regularly. I emailed them a week ago with no response. Fortunately our dog is in good health so the kennel cough should be clear in a few weeks after the first round of antibiotics. He's also on a cough suppressant narcotic. The vet who diagnosed him said he may need a second round of med to clear the cough. It's horrible to see our little guy go through this.
We picked up our dog a day early and she reeked of pee and we were told she would lay in her pee - she doesn’t do that at home at all- meaning they just let her do it or didn’t let her out enough and she had no other option. Then later when I was bathing her I found plastic netting for covering garden beds stuck in her fur in knots (we groomed her before we dropped her off so the knots were new). Since we got her a day early I’m guessing we caught them off guard and they were going to cover this stuff up. Oh and they over fed her to the point of her getting visibly bigger. Never sending any of our animas back there.
I’m very pleased with the airline layover service and would definitely recommend Hillrose! I had my new puppy flown across the country and had a bunch of questions regarding his overnight layover in Seattle. Hailey was very professional and nice over the phone, which made me feel extremely comfortable booking them to take care of my new little guy. The drivers did a wonderful job of texting me updates about when he was picked up, how he was doing, and when he was checked back into the airport. Thank you Hillrose staff, I’m very grateful for your service!
We just dropped off our little ones for a few days while we jet set. My cats have two rooms together and a little 🛏️! Great staff and so nice it's right near the airport! This is our second of many times we will use Hillrose when traveling. …
If I could give them negative stars, I would. This place was an absolute disaster to try to communicate with. In September, I booked a week of boarding for my two dogs from Dec 24 - Dec 31. They confirmed the dates, I had to call to put down the deposit, and everything is set (or so I thought). Two months later, they informed me that they won't be open for pick up on Dec 31, and I'll have to change my reservation. At this point I've already bought plane tickets, so this is really inconvenient and I can't change my travel. I say that I will pick up the dogs on Jan 1 instead, but they informed me that they're also not open on that date, so I will have to pay for two additional days of boarding to get them on Jan 2. For two dogs, that's an extra $200! But it only gets worse. A week before my reservation, they email me to ask what time I'll be dropping off the dogs on Dec 23. I reply that my reservation starts on Dec 24, so that's when I'll be bringing the dogs. They inform me that they're closed on Dec 24, so I'll have to pay for an extra day. Again, an extra $100. When I push back on this and express my frustration at them repeatedly changing the dates, they claim that they never would have confirmed my original dates because they aren't open then. I forwarded them the original confirmation email that I got from them with the reservation being Dec 24 - Dec 31. They did not reply for several days, and when they did reply, they said "If you don't like our service, you can go elsewhere." Five days before Christmas? As if anywhere else would still be available. Then, literally the DAY BEFORE MY RESERVATION, I have accepted that I'm going to have to pay an extra $300 to board my dogs over the holidays, and I'm making plans to drop them off on Dec 23, when I get another email. This one says "We've canceled your reservation, sorry it didn't work out." WHAT?? I replied that I never asked to cancel, and I still need boarding for my dogs, and they reply "Sorry, we already canceled, there's nothing we can do. Happy Holidays!". This is the absolute worst, passive-aggressive, terrible customer service that I have ever encountered. I had to completely change my trip 24 hours before my flight, beg friends to help with the dogs, and spend a ton of money on individual Rover walks for my dogs because the boarding that I had booked three months previously decided to cancel on me the day before. I can only imagine the quality of care that my dogs would have received if I had actually boarded them. For your own sanity, DO NOT try to book with Hillrose.
Review is for almost 10 years ago (from 2024). Most of the boarding was for cat condos with a couple dog kennels. While the cat condos are more spacious than the ones in PetSmart, I never (really) felt confident with the staff's care for my cat. For one thing, I remember one of the young female employees was completely allergic to cats. I asked her, if you're allergic, why would you put yourself in such a situation...? She replied along the line of - because I like cats and there's not a lot of staff to watch over them. I firmly believe that my cat got a bad case of fleas overtime from boarding here. When I had my pitty board here, they didn't do much to help him be comfortable. My poor dog had diarrhea all over his bottom when I had picked him up on a different day, which tells me that no one cared enough to again, help him be comfortable and clean him up. The worst part of it all was that no one called me to let me know that my pitty wasn't feeling well. Ever since the last day of boarding for my cat, I NEVER boarded here again. I care far too much for my pet(s) to leave them in place that's undependable, insincere, doesn't provide sympathy and empathy for the pets that unfortunately stay here.
this place left my 13yr old golden covered in her own piss and with nets in her fur. I am absolutely livid, do not ever take your pet here.
Facilities, pretty good, service... horrible. Called and set up a reservation for my dog. Confirmed 65.00 for a private room for one night. Great, get her checked in this is Saturday 7-22-2023 1:00pm with the receptionist who was dismissive and holding onto some kind of power trip. Ok, maybe she's just having a bad day. Come Sunday, 7-23-2023 we come when they open at 2:00pm to pick her up, same person is there for us to deal with. Total is now doubled, 130.00 for 25 hours of care... why I ask, the response, "Well it's after noon on Sunday so you are automatically charged another day". My reply, "But you don't open until 2:00pm... so there is no way to not be charged on Sunday?" Her reply correct, and then kept referring to, it's in to contract you signed. And then said, I'm not trying to be abrasive... Yea you are. And why would you phrase it as oh it's after noon. Of course it is, you do not open until 2:00...Not only that, but guess why there are some many regulations around mortgage contracts or autos... Because people kept trying to screw people over. Could we not, just be good people and not try to get over on each other every time we can. Just be nice. Seems too much to ask this place / person. We won't be taking our dog back, and I just know that she is writing something about me in her books about how horrible I was, or my dog was. Petty person protecting their small fiefdom of power. Sad. Hope the owner figures this out.
This review is coming a few months late, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had with a business in a long time. We had been dog-boarding clients of Hillrose for several years without any major issue. I had him booked for during a trip, with a reservation confirmation e-mail saying "We are open from 7am to 7pm Monday thru Friday and 8am to 5pm on Saturday. On Sunday we are open from 2pm to 8:30pm by appointment only." These hours were also posted on their website, and I had dropped him in evenings after work in the past. They called the day before drop-off to confirm drop-off time, at which point I said "probably 6-7pm," (after work, before my flight.) She said that's not possible, I could only drop off before 4pm, and they could not "make an exception for me." I was not asking for special treatment, simply asking for them to adhere to their advertised and directly e-mailed hours. I work in-person full time and cannot leave work in the middle of the day to drop off my dog. They were completely inflexible. This was the day before my flight and truly jeopardized the trip- fortunately was able to find a last-minute, more accommodating kennel that allowed for drop off after 5pm. Needless to say, they lost a long-time client. I do not know their current hours-policy, but beware that their communications/website are not reliable.
Hillrose was flexible, friendly and generous. Prices were great for day care for our two kitties for 2 days. They let them stay together since they're bonded. The only hiccup was that I have hearing loss and the intercom on the door after hours didn't work. It was difficult to have a conversation through the glass with the after hours attendant. Once we got it figured out, it was fine, so it doesn't warrant losing any stars. We will return.
