Pet Sitting in Shardlow

This was the first time Philippa and her daughter Anna have sat for us and we would happily recommend them. We came home to 2 very well looked after and contented dogs. The house was immaculate and both Boris and Chrissy were sad to see them go! Great communication both before and during the sit.

Tanya and Marc were great, from the moment we spoke to them on Zoom. We had to a virtual handover due to an early morning flight. They kept us up to date with cat updates, they were really understanding that Yeti didn’t want to come and say hi and made sure he was comfortable outside by putting food out for him everyday. Tali loved the extra attention and I was so happy to come home to a clean house with their sheets and towels clean. Would highly recommend them and would happily have them back.

Stephen and Sarah were absolutely fantastic! They sat for us for 5 weeks and looked after Maple brilliantly. Communication was fantastic with updates throughout the week with photos! The house was immaculate upon return and they even left us dinner for that evening so save us going shopping after travelling and some treats too! The love and care they showed Maple was the best and Maple was super happy and settled with them both. Thank you for everything, we would have you back in a heartbeat xxx

Well what can I say....... This is the fourth time Jackie & Brian have been to look after Cookie & Cracker - need I say more?? Jackie & Brian saved the day for us because we had booked a two week holiday but had only managed to get a sitter for the first week. Lucky for us they got back from their mega cruise a few days after we left, so they agreed to come & take over from the first sitter. Not only that but they had already made arrangements for Hogmanay so I had arranged for a friend in the village to look after the boys for that one night at her house. Unfortunately she forgot all about it & Jackie & Brian cancelled their plans so that the boys were not left on their own. How dedicated was that - we were gobsmacked & so very very grateful!! Cookie & Cracker must have been absolutely beside themselves when Jackie & Brian arrived - so very very excited to see them again. As always we received lots of photos while we were away. I think it was pretty hard going because the weather was atrocious while we were away but Jackie & Brian just take it in their stride & bath the boys in the outdoor sink after their very muddy walks. We were so pleased to see them again when we got back as we consider them as friends now & are looking forward to seeing them next week for lunch! Thank you again from us all xx🐾🐾

Andrea and Andy have sat for us on many occasions and their care for our cat and our home is exemplary. Two very special people who have become friends and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Abbi and Martin were fantastic house and pet sitters . They are very experienced at house sitting and their confidence showed through . They were reliable, organised , good communicators both before the sit and during . It was helpful to meet them both in person just before we departed for a weeks’ holiday . They were both very warm towards us and more importantly our 2 dogs and we left without a moments hesitation about leaving them in our home with our boys . It was evident from the pictures we received and how the dogs were upon our return that they had been well looked after and had lots of fuss, snuggles and walks . The house was also immaculate. Would have no hesitation in recommending this fab couple . Thanks guys, we hope to be able to use you again !

Ann and Martin were super friendly, reliable and all round great house sitters! They took great care of all the animals and were obliging in throwing Pip's ball for her - a lot! Communication was great and it was really helpful to have the opportunity for a visit before we left to meet the pets and look round. The house was beautiful and clean when we got home which was lovely. We would love to have them back if they are ever travelling nearby again on their adventures! Definitely recommend them! This was our first time with housesitters and Libby and Peter were amazing! They were reassuring before we left, came to meet us and the dogs and arrived at the house soon after we'd left. They sent photos and messages while we were away which put us at ease. The dogs loved them and were very well cared for. The house was exactly how we left it, the plants were well looked after and they had even washed the bedding and towels. Would definitely recommend Libby and Peter.

Ebony is an amazing sitter. Her communication before arrival was excellent. From the time she arrived the cats seemed very comfortable with her. She kept me updated throughout the sit, even following up when I had a problem getting messages. My flight home was delayed and she very kindly stayed late to give the cats dinner. I arrived home to a spotless house, with even fresh sheets on the bed and all the laundry done, and most importantly super happy cats! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Anyone would be lucky to have her looking after their precious pets and home. I do hope she can sit for me again one day!

This was my first house sit with Zeewoi and I was nervous about lending the van among other things. I chose Mark and Sue because of their excellent recommendations from other sitters and I was not dissapointed. Everything was great from start to finish and Im embarassed that Mark ended up fixing my van. The weather was unusally hot while they were sitting for me, but they seemed to cope ok. I would happily have them back to sit again any time.
