Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful.
We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier.

She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )

Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella.  We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail.

First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own.

Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see.

Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site!

She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Thank you for taking great care for the dogs and the house.

For our first experience with a house sitter, Jim and Julie have set the bar high.  We felt totally confident that any issues would be dealt with, fortunately there were none. They were outstanding house and pet sitters whom we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. They took exceptional care of our house full of pets from 2 large dogs, 3 cats, snake, gecko, fish tank and a koi pond. They provided updates daily, were very easy to communicate with and the house was just as clean as when we left it, with the addition of a nice welcome home gift. We knew our pets were in good hands.
