Karen was awesome and cared for our fur babies like they were her own! My older dog was not feeling well and she communicated about what was happening and cleaned up after her when she got sick! She is very caring and extremely reliable!

Full-time travelers, happy to help care for your fur-family and home
Angie and Joe were a dream to have stay at my home and love on my kitties while I was traveling. They went above and beyond to put things back where they found them and clean up the house before I returned home. I truly hope to have them stay again.

Kind, clean, reliable traveler who will care for your pets & home like my own!
I say without exaggeration that Simone is the dream house sitter. She is a positive person with calming energy and a joyful sense of humor. I feel so lucky that Simone chose our house for our 10-day trip. She took her time getting to know me and my house before we left town, and she gave my cat all the space she needed to be comfortable with a new person in the house. I was very comfortable leaving town with her there and could tell Casper was too through the photos she sent. It was quite the surprise to return home to a weeded yard, flowers, coffee, granola, and a heartfelt card!

Mature, dependable, and compassionate animal-lover living in Colorado.
Jen could not have been a better Petsitter! She was not only a really nice person but so organized, professional, communicative and caring towards our cat. Our house was spotless when we came home. She stayed in touch when she was concerned that Mimi wasn’t feeling well and went out of her way to keep an eye on her. Thankfully, she was fine. She was really independent and figured out great places to bike and have other adventures in our area. I would have Jen come back and stay in our home anytime.

Over 9 years of experience, I love every minute of it!
Susan was great! She spent so much time with our dog and they did big walks/hikes everyday. The house was clean and tidy on our return. If the opportunity arises, we would definitely have her housesit again.

Colorado Musician and Trustworthy Friend
We absolutely loved having Sarah stay at our house and take care of our pup. She was very communicative throughout our entire stay away. Our Dog was very happy and tired when we got home and our home was cleaner than we had left it! I hope Sarah will be able to take care of our pup again if we have a trip! Thank you!!!

Animal Loving Adventurer
Claire was a great house sitter for us! She was reliable and self-sufficient. Her communication with us was excellent. We didn’t have pets at the house during her house sit, but we do have a lot of potted plants on three levels of the house along with some shrubs planted around the main floor patio that we asked her to care for to the best of her ability. It appears that she did a very good job with the plants! We were glad to have her stay at our place!

Your Extra Right Arm When You're Away
Vikki is a wonderful sitter. She takes loving care of my older dog Harry, walking him daily. She cares also for my plants and protects them from bad weather. Everything in the house is kept neat and tidy. I highly recommend Vikki as a Zeewoi but I hope she will be continue to also be available for us.

Let Us Take Care of You!
Laura and Mark came by before I left town to meet the cats and get a feel for the routine, which I always appreciate. They were great communicators and always got back to me when I had a question … or was just checking on the cats! The house was clean and the sheets and towels were already washed. I felt completely at ease with them and would definitely have them back again. Laura left me some banana bread which is delicious!!! It was nice to have something homemade to eat in the morning after traveling.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.
Lani is an excellent Pet Sitter and housesitter. Communication was easy, our pet Cleo appreciated her loving care. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat. I would happily ask Lani to housesit again.
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Linda’s communication was also something I liked… we texted & chatted on the phone before her arrival & I felt very comfortable with her being in my home & with my dog. I could tell her number one reason to pet sit was her love for dogs & desire to be a wonderful companion for Brodie while I was away for the weekend! Would love to have her back anytime…
Elaine was a welcomed sitter for Cyrus and Purrelli. I returned from holiday to find a very content relaxed dog and a happy fat cat. Purrelli doesn’t eat when he is stressed so seeing a little meat on him let me know he was content and happy :) My condo was left clean and in order, all communications were smooth and there was zero issues. Thx for the great pet care Elaine.
Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.
Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

Everyone reading this, just know that you are hiring the best of the best. I have a husky and two kitties that are so loved and taken care of when we are out of town, because Vanessa is amazing! We have certain needs for our pets and Vanessa not only makes sure those are met, but goes above and beyond. Highly recommended! Be assured that your expectations for your pets are met, because she CARES. That is hard to find these days, but you just found it!
Vanessa is an excellent communicator and always responds promptly. Tracie has such a good energy to her and takes very good care of my dog! Very happy with the service and doesn’t break the bank!
Above the Clouds Pet Sitting is the best. We have several pets and find it difficult to find good trustworthy care. A friend of mine recommended Vanessa and we’re so glad that we found her. She communicated with us during our trip everyday. It was a reassuring feeling knowing that our babies were doing okay. We appreciate everything she did and we will be calling her again. Please reach out to Vanessa for the loving care for your 4 legged babies.
When your puppy or grown dog, goes to Vanessa's house for daycare or overnight care, there are a number of things you can count on. 1. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family. Vanessa welcomes the dogs she cares for into her home and her family. 2. Your dog will become a member of a pack. Vanessa has 3 of her own dogs and screens all new dogs coming into that pack for compatibility. No mean aggressive dogs allowed! 3. Your dog will come home exhausted and happy! Vanessa offers lots of play time for the pups in her care. She even provides a kiddy pool to cool off in on hot days. Lots of play time and interaction with other dogs always guarantees a happy and content dog upon pickup. Vanessa came to my rescue after I brought home an energetic Australian Shepard. I work full time and was not able to give this new puppy the attention and exercise she needed. I started taking my pup to Vanessa's at about 5 months old 2 - 3 times a week. When I brought my pup home, she was quite content which made my training so much easier. I am very grateful to Vanessa and her kind and professional approach to taking care of other peoples fur babies.
Vanessa was a true professional that took care of our animals like they were her own. Dependable, trustworthy, and caring, she did an amazing job looking after our fur family. She updated us on our pets continously and even sent pictures! We have tried other pet sitters but Vanessa provides a level of service that is exemplary. We have found our go to pet sitter and truly appreciate her caring and compassion for our animals.
I am so happy I found Vanessa - she is a true professional! She is wonderful with my dogs and I love that she provides check-in reports, complete with photos. Vanessa cares about her pet-clients and their humans, going as far as making sure I got home safely after my vacation. I'd been looking for someone reliable and friendly to watch my furboys when I go out of town, and I feel that I've hit the jackpot! Cannot recommend Vanessa highly enough!
There are not enough words to describe the love and care that Vanessa and Nathan gave to our two dogs while in their care!! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my babies as I did when I left them at their home!!! I loved that Vanessa did a initial meet and greet prior to their stay! What a great idea!! After seeing the accommodations, I was really impressed! Then to receive daily updates on how they were doing was very comforting! I would highly recommend Above the Clouds Pet Sitting hands down!! Bear and Cali are looking forward to their next stay already!! Thank you again Vanessa and Nathan!!
Vanessa has taken care of my pups many times, and our experiences with her have always been wonderful. She truly cares about the critters in her charge...we think she is amazingly flexible and responsible. And provides great value!
Vanessa is amazing and we feel very fortunate that our paths crossed. Our “Ellie” came from an abusive situation so she has trust issues with new people. When we recently relocated from another state to Colorado we knew it would be challenging finding the right connection to care for her while we are out of town. If we could have moved our FL doggy sitter with us it would have been nice, as there was much anxiety about finding a new caretaker. Vanessa has been nothing short of incredible. She drove up to our home and did three introductory visits prior to us going out of town. This was beyond our expectations and we were thrilled to see how Ellie took to Vanessa. Since then we have taken two trips out of town and Vanessa has been wonderful. Each and every day we received text messages giving us an update on Ellie, along with several pictures of ‘play-time’. It brought such peace of mind knowing that she was being well cared for, and in our home. We felt very connected the entire trip, and never worried. Typically when one boards their pet it is always comes with a sense of worry. However, this has not been the case with Vanessa. I always felt at ease, and excited when the next text message would arrive with a new daily update. Not to mention the fact that she goes above and beyond making trips during winter storms to ensure Ellies' needs were taken care of. From the moment you meet Vanessa you will see that she is compassionate about animals, excited about her work and always seems to have your pets care as her top priority.
Above the Clouds Pet Sitting was like having our dog stay over at our best friend's house. Very personal, intentional, loyal, and collaborative. Vanessa handled River with great care and affection at a time when she really needed it. Not only would we do it again, but we're already scheduled for the next visit.
I have worked with Leona on multiple occasions. My dog was originally signed up for group classes with Spruce Mountain, and after one class, he had a hard time with being around the other pups. After speaking with Leona, she offered to switch him to individual sessions and we would revisit group training later. Due to my schedule, and living 45 minutes away, this was greatly appreciated. Leona has always been flexible, worked with me, has even boarded my pup with her to do some extensive training that I have not been able to do myself. This is my first puppy, and the work Leona has done, continues to do, and I am sure I will continue to work with her has been nothing short of fabulous. Leona not only trains my dog, she cares about my dog, his well being, and gave me the sweetest gift after he was boarded with her. It was a collection of pictures of him in various mediums and it melted my heart. I love working with Leona and so thankful she is such a pleasure to work with!!!!
Leona is the ultimate dog trainer! Hands down, she is the best animal trainer - I have had the privilege of knowing Leona for over 6 years and she has trained my 2 dogs expertly and compassionately. My dogs ADORE her yet they respect her authority. If you love your dogs (and who doesn't?) you won't regret hiring Leona for all your training needs.
Leona has helped with both our 9 month old puppy and some walking issues with our 9 year old dog. Leona is always patient with both the customer and their pups and does a great job providing positive reinforcement. Additionally Leona is passionate about helping the families that come to her for help and she provide external resources for information. My pups love Leona and we will be going back for any training needs!
Leona has been great figuring out our dogs who are all rescue with issues. I like a trainer that can work on issues and not just sit. She has such calm demeanor that dogs are attracted to her and listen to her. She truly in this for dogs and to help their owners.
I give this 5 stars but wish I could give more. Leona, shes kind and very knowledgeable and is extremely trustworthy when it comes to talking about my dog and just in general... and was extremely helpful and superb with training & regarding anything!!! Really loved her! Hire her for ANY of your pet training needs and shes GOOD for advice too! Thank you Leona!!
We have been clients of Leona since early 2021. No complaints until our cat died under her care. At first, our cat’s death seemed from natural causes. However, upon returning to our home, there were things found in different conditions than when we left them. What was found in our house makes us question the care of our cats and we will not be trusting Leona again with our pets.
Leona is the sole person that will work with you, no passing off to another trainer. She has helped us with noise sensitivity, lease work, nail trimming and other issues. We love her!
Leona, is so good with my dog, Nory. Her training has helped Nory so much especially walking her on leash. I recommend Leona for dog training and any pet care needs. She is very reliable. Thank you, Paula
We’re so grateful that you took the time to share your feedback with us. It’s our pleasure to serve customers like you. Have a wonderful day! Spruce Mountain Paws LLC
Thank you so much for the 5 star review Stefanie. Can’t wait to work with you again next summer!
Sam is the best dog sitter Ive ever had! He’s so attentive and active with the dogs. I always feel super safe and calm leaving Axle with him. Axle loves being with him so much that I have to force him to get in the car with me to go back home. That’s how you know your pup was well taken care of!
Not only do we love and trust Sam to watch our dogs but THEY love and trust Sam. Anytime we are gone or working we have zero concerns knowing our Leonard and Lola are under Sam’s care. Even if he isn’t watching them, If my dogs hear his whistle, they go running to him to say hi! They adore him. Sam is not only a reliable caregiver but is also a great trainer. And he’s always a phone call away if I have any questions at all regarding my dogs behaviors. He is an asset to us in helping raise our little rescues and we wouldn’t want them spending their days away from us with anyone else. I could not recommend Sam in any higher regard!
Amazing Dog Daycare Daycare! Sam is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and the care he provided for my dog is the best I have ever experienced. Thank you Sam.
Sam is great with my dogs! As soon as they see him, they are excited to say Hi! He is very attentive with them on their adventures and his main priorities are their safety and enjoyment while playing. Thank you Sam for all the love you have given to my pups!🐾🙂 …
Seriously could not have found a better dog situation for my sweet mini Aussie Olive while in CO Springs for a recent work trip. Sam was great, and it’s apparent he enjoys the dog’ company! Olive is a shy girl, and this was a great way to get her socialized in a friendly environment with an attentive human to moderate. Sam communicated well and sent lots of photos throughout the day too.
My dog (Porter) has so much fun here, he doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up! Sam is so thoughtful and attentive in caring for dogs. I love that each pet gets a tailored experienced based on there needs. I enjoy the frequent updates/pics and convenient/flexible meet-ups. I am able to fully engage in my trips knowing how well my dog is being looked after by a handler who is highly experienced. I can’t recommend this service enough. 1000% satisfied
Sam is an amazing pet provider. Sent me pictures of Marvin’s activities. Sam is also flexible with good communication skills.
Sam has been a life saver, helping me now for 1.5 years with a very active Husky who loves playing and running with the Pack. During this time, Sam has provided great training and discipline skills that have been very noticeable here at home. Sam is keen and attentive to a dogs needs and alerts me to anything he sees going on that I may not, right away pick up on. Highly recommend!
Sam has been the very best since he has started caring for my dog, Harlow. He is flexible with my schedule and accommodates pick ups and drop offs as needed which eases my mind when I work long hours. He also makes a point to send photo updates on how Harlow is doing throughout the day(which is what I most look forward to). Harlow comes home every day tired and happy which is what we love! Thank you, Sam for taking such good care of our fur-baby!
Sam the Dog Man was fantastic with our Girl Belle!! We are enjoying an extended road trip with our RV and our Pup and we (on occasion) have a need for daycare/overnight boarding for her. Sam has been very responsive and super easy to coordinate her care with. We met for a meet and greet and toured his home where he is very organized with the care of his "regulars" and those passing through..... like us. He is clearly a "Dog Person" and enjoys what he does. He takes the pups to the best local dog park each morning to play and run and wear themselves out.... Belle was whooped each day after pick up and was calm all evening. He also offers care for doggos who prefer quieter time and individual walks instead of group play. The location is perfect for our weeklong visit to Colorado Springs and we couldn't be happier! Don't hesitate to leave your FurBaby in the care of Trails and Tails Dog Adventures! Rob and Robynn Barry
My pups were very well taken care of. I like that the kennels are heated with a doggie door to go outside. Highly recommend, I’ll use them if I ever need them. Very friendly host as well.
Decided to do a last minute rafting trip in Canon City and called Holly last night to see if she could have our two puppies under the age of six months. Richard and Holly were super nice, professional, and so kind and caring to our two puppies, Oakley and Oginalli. Their kennels were super clean, air conditioned, and so fun for our pups. Would DEFINITELY use them again to watch our pups!! Thank you!!!
Holly and her facility are fantastic! We left our two medium sized dogs with her for a week while on vacation and they seemed happy to be there. I love that they had access to automatic waterers and the building has it's own evaporative cooler. Definitely taking them there for future trips!
We boarded our dog (Omen) here for a week on short notice and it was wonderful! The building is heated (in cold weather), super clean, and he had so much space to run around and play in. I was also able to check in to make sure he was doing okay while we were gone. I will definitely board our dogs here in the future, and will recommend to all of the dog owners I know :)
I left my 15 year old dog Angel at Kinsey Kennel and was so impressed by the super clean facility. Your animal has AC when it's hot and heat when it's cold. I would not leave my pet with anyone else....plus, the owners are very fun to talk to.
Left both of our chessies there when we left to get married. Owners are very nice and took great care of our dogs. Lots of room for them to play.
Can't find any better place for my 2 boys lucky and peanut they were well takencare taken care off thank you. Air conditioned for the hot days and heater for the cold days. Clean and lots of space for the dogs to run. Super costumer friendly
Holly took great care of our Maggie while we visited our daughters on Thanksgiving. Large run and friends to bark with.
Richard and Holly have a love for animals. They have a great facility and make sure your animals get the love and attention they need!
Had my dogs there they did a great job and very friendly people I will be using them again
Best Vet office in town! Extremely clean facility and very kind techs. Kayla, who is the vet, is a true professional… and just a great person in general. She has always treated my concerns about my dog with dignity and compassion. Gotten all shots, spaying, etc. done here.
Best veterinary services I've ever had in my entire life caring staff and willing to talk to a person as a person not down to them Franco loves them very helpful and knowledgeable highly recommend
We have had several pets cared for by Dr. Ingram. She runs a high quality clinic with well trained and caring staff. When using the boarding service our dogs were always well cared for and loved upon. With one of our dogs we had to face the reality of lung cancer - there is no one else we would have wanted with us through that tough time - expert care and advice, empathetic understanding, and quiet peace at the time we had to let go. This is a great place!
We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new vet. Our dog has some medical issues and we were concerned about the experience of switching vets mid ailment. The whole staff is fantastic! They listened to everything we had to say and they used the records from our previous vet. We had a very good experience and I would highly recommend this animal hospital.
I am so glad I found this place. My pup went in for a dental cleaning and they do a mandatory blood screening because of the anesthesia required for the procedure and they found some counts out of wack and sent me to Colorado Canine Orthopedics for an ultrasound. They found his gallbladder was filled full of sludge. Put him on some meds and he is doing really well. If it wasn’t for the blood panel required for surgery, we may not have caught this issue. They could have simply took my money and did the surgery but they cared for his health instead
Dr. Ingram and her staff are awesome!! They did a wonderful job with our 13 year old pittie's major dental surgery today. They are professional, kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. They've been treating all 3 of our pups since we moved to Westcliffe a year and a half ago. We highly recommend them for all your pet's needs!
Puppy visit, shots and 3 month check-up. Very professional. Staff competent, responsive, and friendly. Dr. Ingram's visit summary excellent including her response to a number of puppy-related questions.
We had an elderly dog who began deteriorating quickly over the weekend. We took her to High Peaks Animal Hospital this morning (Monday) to have her euthanized. We were told they don't have an appointment available until November. The staff did not care that there was an animal suffering and in need. Veterinarians take an oath that includes "the prevention and relief of animal suffering." Apparently this veterinarian does not abide by that oath as they were willing to allow our dog to suffer instead of taking a few minutes to care for her in her last moments. Instead we had to drive 45 minutes to Fourmile Veterinary Clinic. Although they were booked with appointments the staff fit us in immediately and showed empathy and care that was not received at High Peaks.
I wish I had a good review to leave, We didn't get to see Dr.Ingram so I'm not sure of her ability. We saw a man that was filling in for her. We had sort of an emergency that started on Wednesday and tried to be seen on Thursday but was unable to get in, they were able to get us in on that Friday morning. The girl up front was very nice and tried to do everything she could. When we came in that friday morning we met with the male vet that was filling in, i explained everything that was going on and after a couple minutes he said we can do x-rays and blood work if you leave your dog here with us. I said ok went home waited a couple hours and then called they said she was ready. I went to get here and I've never met a vet who knew absolutely nothing. He was showing me her blood work and all he could say was I'm not sure and i don't know and that i should take her blood work in to a specialist, then took me in to show me the x-rays and once again I'm not sure and i don't know other that he said it looked like her spleen was on the wrong side but he wasn't sure and that i should contact a gastro specialist, i tried to ask questions and got the reply of I'm not sure. He was done. I paid $316.96 for basically nothing. I then went home and sent the X-rays to 3 different vets and was told that everything seems to be in the right place and that she had some gas in her belly, to just keep feeding her chicken and rice also with keeping her hydrated. I was able to get everything sent down to our regular vet so she could look at everything but that wasn't till monday morning. I went the whole weekend worried that something could possibly be very wrong. I would not recommend seeing this male vet so make sure to check and see who is working next time you go in. I will also be contacting CVMA.. Update I’ve called several time to speak to Dr.Ingram and have not received a call back.
Terrible experience. Called made appointment for rabies shot. Had to wait a month to get in. Arrived and was told that I never called.i did call ridiculous! We need an accessible Vet!
