This place is great to take your dog to. They offer a variety of services, have a small pet store, and my 15 year old Husky is always well taken care of! They are not the cheapest, or most expensive. But, things are chill, easy check-in & check-out, and they remind you if your pets vaccinations need to be done before boarding again.

We've been taking our four- year old chocolate lab since she was 8 weeks old. She looks forward to visiting her dog friends at least once a week for several hours and always comes back happy, fed, and tired! She is taking well care of.

Doug and his staff are fantastic. I would highly recommend the Dog Zone to anyone looking for good care for their pet. Our German Shepherd struggled to socialize with other dogs at other places and was totally stressed out especially going to a place in Woodland call Lone Pine Kennals. The final straw at Lone Pine was when the owner said she wanted to muzzle our dog so she couldn't bark so much. I couldn't imagine how much more that would stress our dog out so I went looking for a new Kennel and found the Dog Zone. For two years now our German Shepherd has loved going here as now does our Golden Doodle Puppy. We really appreciate Doug and his staff taking care of our dogs. Also...regarding the 1 Star Review by Life Everlasting I actually walked in at the end of this event. Doug was being very polite while this woman was acting totally insane threatening him and threatening to call the cops for who knows what. I did not witness Doug doing anything wrong while this woman raged like a lunatic and then went out to her car parked next to mine. When I left she glared at me like I had done something as well. Honestly I was a bit worried about Doug so I went back in and said he had was waiting for the cops to arrive. I later asked him what came of it and he said nothing since nothing happened other than this lady being a jerk. Obviously her post is complete BS. Doug and his staff are the best but one thing about the good ol Internet anyone can say anything they want especially complete nutjobs like the woman with the user name Life Everlasting. She needs help. If you need further proof just look at her other couple nutty reviews. Of course they are 1 Star as well. Gee...I wonder what the common denominator is with her? Could be her I am thinking.

I love the dog zone. They love my dog nearly as much I do and I know she's safe and happy when we drop her off.

My dog stayed with the dogs on for eight days. I was never worried or concerned who’s able to watch on the live feeds. They gave her a bath and her nails and when I picked her up yes she was excited to see me. They took excellent care of her. No worries. Usually when I leave her in boarding, she comes home with a cough or diarrhea. Nothing she’s as healthy as can be. Thank you dog zone, and everyone who cared for her for taking such great care.

I dropped my dog off for daycare there on two separate days, my initial thought was how it was odd all the dogs are outside 24/7 when in their care, and how they are all in a concrete lot. The first day was fine he came home very dirty and wet though from being outside/ laying on the dirty wet concrete (since they spray the dog waste off the concrete as well it’s never really dry I noticed from watching the cameras). The second day I dropped him I noticed every time I checked the camera multiple dogs were chasing him and mounting him excessively on multiple occasions and no staff member went out to address this so I can’t tell if they were even watching the dogs. Again when I picked him up he was filthy, soaking wet, and smelled like dog poop when I gave him a bath the night before due to his previous day at their daycare. I’m not a “Karen” and I don’t usually write reviews either, especially bad reviews but I was very disappointed in their daycare services since all they do is put him in a giant kennel with other dogs and take them in and out as dogs are picked up/ dropped off. It’s also worth mentioning that there were at least four staff members in the office when I came to pick up my dog from daycare but none of them were outside watching the dogs in the lot. Just thought I’d share since we’ve been to multiple daycares (due to us moving) and we’ve never had this issue. Their facilities are also not very welcoming for the dogs, other daycares have structures for them to run and play on but the dog zone.

We have our baby boy in daycare here and he loves it after just a week he comes home tired. He is amazing at home and clearly they are working with him and keeping him busy and playing. Can't believe the change we see in our 7 month old puppy. Love it.

We have a 90 lbs mixed breed dog that travels with us in our RV. After a couple of weeks he begins to really smell and it’s amplified in a close space. Finding a place we can bathe him is always one of the first things we look for when we get to a new location. We were very happy to find the Dog Zone offered a wash your own dog service. We really appreciate that since he is good in the bath and with his short fur we don’t need the other services a groomer offers. The bathing facilities in the Dog Zone were nice with elevated tubs and a table for drying with a blow dryer. Our dog really enjoyed the treat options they offer after his bath too. It was a pleasant experience for us and we have been twice since arriving in the area. We only wish they had more facilities along our route.

I have been taking my puppy and my old boy here for daycare for several months. They have been absolutely wonderful taking care of my babies. When my puppy was spayed and I was worried about her being alone while I had to work they were able to house her in a kennel and kept a close eye on her for me. My old boy can’t play all day so they put him out in the yard part of the day and let him rest in a kennel during the rest. Their obedience classes are excellent. I have nothing but praises and deep gratitude for the entire staff. They are welcoming and caring. Your dog will be happy and safe with The Dog Zone.

Great doggy day care here! They offer pick-up and drop-offs during the weekdays and play with them all day to get their energy out while we are at work. They also offer overnight stays. Very helpful and friendly staff 🐶 …

I'm 72, and I can't give my pup more than two walks per day, so the dog ranch a couple of days per week is a perfect addition to keep my pup exercised. Plus he loves going!

PDR is awesome!!! Tons of fun for my boy and he’s always coming home happy and tired. He’s been a regular for years and always is stoked about playing at the ranch

My Dog LOVES this place! Mel and Cameron are very nice with great customer service skills. I can tell when they come to pick my dog up that they treat him very well. He’s always super excited to see them.

Boarded our 2.5 year old black lab here for 10 days. We were a little nervous that her first time there was 10 days. When we picked her up, she was excited to see us but as soon as she got in the car she was antsy staring back at the front gate wanting to go back already! Prices are reasonable, especially with the accommodations provided! I can’t think of another place your dog will get more freedom or socialization the PDR. We plan to use PDR any time we need dog boarding in the future!

Dipstick absolutely loves this place! It is the perfect place to socialize, and "run with the pack". Brian is a wonderful guy, and his prices are comparable to the so-called "doggy daycares" that are in small old business buildings. I recommend this place all day every day!

Our kids go every Monday, rain or shine! The almighty Bark Bus rolls up like the circus rolling into a small midwestern town, we open the front door and Cooper and Biscuit are out the door, down the driveway and into the days adventure like kids to an ice cream truck. They come home so happy and then they collapse and don’t move for the rest of the day! Mission accomplished! We’ve been sending them to Brian for years and it’s an essential part of our dog family life! And did I mention he does boarding at a very reasonable rate. He’s a dog saint.

Our dog loves it at Paradise Dog Ranch. He gets to spend his days running around with his K-9 buddies and goes crazy as soon as he realizes he is headed there. Brian does a great job with the dogs and will always be our first choice.

We love camp bow wow. Their app is great to manage reservations and book boarding/daycare. Our dog has stayed there many times overnight during trips. I know she is in good hands there! All workers are attentive and truly get to know your dogs.

I don’t trust many with the care of my little furry girl- but I do trust Camp Bow Wow- they are always friendly and supportive- and great at communicating any issues or health concerns that might arise

Our pup is super happy every time he goes there. They are welcoming and caring and sometimes lifesavers when life gets crazy. Love Camp Bow Wow. From AZ to WA they do not disappoint and we are very grateful we found them.

Hank, our golden doodle absolutely loves Camp bow wow. They are always friendly and know all about Hank and he has the best time. He gets groomed while he is there and it is just so convenient for us to drop him on our way to work.

I love the hours because I can work a full shift knowing that she's having fun, she's safe, and I don't have to rush to pick her up. I also love that I can check in on her at any time thanks to the cameras. It makes my breaks very enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly.

I have a young pup who goes to camp about 3 days a week. Doggy daycare is a great way for him to socialize with other dogs and his behavior at home has improved since he now has an outlet for all his puppy energy. Plus they have doggy cameras.

Camp Bow Wow's daycare has been a great experience for my dog, Yenn! She's always excited to go and always tired when she comes home - which is exactly what a dog parent wants. The staff is always kind and professional and they have the cutest events for the holidays. We've been going here for months now and continue to do so. Thanks Camp Bow Wow team!

I know that my dogs will be well cared for when they stay at camp bow wow. They have helped my shy pittie mix become more confident and my senior maltipoo is safe and comfortable.

I love camp bowow because it’s super convenient for me and my family to drop our dog off whenever we are going out of town. Also, the staff are super patient and sweet with our naughty dog Loki 😂. Our little rascal is one year old turning two this year and he is a handful. I love that I can drop him off any day of the week when there’s availability for him to burn some energy.

Jan deserves 5 stars, we’ve left our dog with her many times and always know he’s in good hands. She has a lot of experience with dogs and is very good with them. Kennels are clean, warm, and dogs are walked twice a day!

Awesome experience! Got a great vibe from the owner, who was super accommodating for drop off/pick up. Didn’t worry about my girl for a minute. It was obvious that Jen has years of experience and has the wisdom and confidence to show for it. The kennel itself was basic, but very clean & cozy. The property was beautiful and the dogs get daily walks in nature. Price was very reasonable and included food, treats, and any little medicine needed to navigate poorly tummies, etc. if they come up. When I picked up, my girl looked healthy (maybe even chunky from all the love she got), happy, and in good health!

So glad I found this place. Jan, the owner, is super friendly and demonstrates great enthusiasm and care for the animals under her care.

I wouldn't trust anyone but Jan with my dogs.... I have been a client of Jan's for several years. She is well caring for my dogs, and treats all of her boarding dogs with love and respect. Jan is very knowledgeable with dogs and the training of dogs, Jan is excellent with small and large breed dogs. As her and her husband were trainers of police dogs. You will not have any concerns when you meet Jan and see the large fenced acreage she has available for the kennel. My dogs and I look forward to our visits at Happy Barker Kennel.

Jan has countless years of hands on experience in caring for and training dogs of all breeds. She is so great with all the dogs she cares for and makes herself available all throughout the year. The kennels are clean and spacious. They are on her beautiful and natural property that is easy to find!

Jan Fry was great love her she took our older pit for many trips. She also took my new rescue pit/mix who is very Leary of new people. 8 days later she was best buds.

While leaving the dog to go on vacation never feels awesome, I trust he's being well cared for at Happy Barker. Jan is very sweet, lets us know how he's been while we were away, and went above and beyond this last time, when he had a minor problem. As is the nature of vacations in the NW, we usually leave when the weather is worst here, and Pam does everything she can to make sure the dogs stay warm - blankets, doghouses, even space heaters (at a safe distance). To be clear, this is not doggie day care. Doggie day care is not for every dog, or every budget. For our semi-needy, not-always-friendly-with-other-dogs, dog, Happy Barker Kennel is a perfect fit. He loves the walks he gets on the large wooded property. We will be back!

Shadow had such a great time! We boarded him for five days, he got daycare each day, and we were able to see him on the camera and his kennel. They are our new go to!

When we arrive to Rruff house Maple suddenly forgets her manners, jumps over the partition in the car, suddenly doesn't know the word "sit" or "stay" anymore and is just ready to play all day -- just how the slogan goes. When she gets inside she gets so excited she nearly falls. My puppy is so happy here. The staff are such compassionate caregivers to the dogs and overall approachable and friendly. Its been a one off for services, day care and toys. Very grateful for Rruff House!

I was in the liquidator store next door when my 8 month old puppy jumped out of my truck and proceeded to run out into Industrial Way with trucks and cars going by. This fast acting woman working at RUFF House opened the door and caught the attention of my dog who then ran to her and inside the building. Her fast actions and quick thinking saved me from a potential tragedy. I’m forever greatful for her kind and quick actions!

Had the pleasure of boarding our 2 English bulldogs for the first time last week. . The dogs seemed like they had a fun time, and the staff were very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Rruff house.

Took my 3 large dogs (2 Huskies and Malamute) all at the same time for a spa day... Tgey look great nails included. All for $51.00. Office/ shop looks great, lots of room for the dogs to rompand play whike they waited. Staff was great as well as the owners. Very nice and personable. Would highly recommend them for ours to come and give this new business a try. I will be back for sure.... They played so much they where tired 2 hrs after we got home, as you can see nap time....

When looking for a place where you can take your fir puppy to be boarded while out of town, you don't think about what would happen if your dog had an emergency. When my puppy started showing signs of a medical emergency, RH contacted me immediately and drove down to Vancouver to wait for hours by the emergency vet that he was stable and that they would call when they had an opening, so Molly took Bogey back a stayed with him all night until they could see the Vet in the morning. The Vet sent her to a different pet hospital and determined that Bogey needed surgery to remove the blockage. Being 1000's miles away this is terrifying to any Dog Mom. Molly and her team cared for Bogey like he was their own. It turned out that he had eaten grass and dirt that had created a fist-sized ball that got stuck in the intestine. I don't know of any place that would go above and beyond and care for him like their own, like RH did. I will be forever grateful. I will only take my dog to them for all of his training, daycare, and boarding needs. If you are reading this review, that most likely means you are looking for a place for training, daycare, or boarding. This is the place you want your baby to be.

Let me start by saying our dog is our baby and we are ridiculously protective of her, so leaving her at the Rruff House the first time or two made me very anxious. Silly me!! She absolutely LOVES it there. She starts wagging and whimpering with excitement as soon as she knows we’re going to her “school.” The staff there is knowledgeable and caring, and their communication is excellent. She goes to daycare 2-3 half days per week. We also get her groomed there, and have boarded her there several times. The Rruff House is amazing! There’s no other place I will ever take her.

Rruff House is the best they love my baby girl and take great care of her. I highly recommend Rruff House to any fur baby owners looking for a place they trust to leave their fur babies to play and socialize.

Best place in town to board your pets. They offer enrichment exercises that are awesome for your pets mind. And if you need some training help they cover that too. They truly love each and every animal they care for and make them feel like family.

Healthy Hound was an easy evaluation and daycare option for my old border collie boy. They treated us like family. Excited to go back with my retired Service Dog.

These folks were amazing with my “nervous Normans” of pups. My dogs are anxious and had never been to a groomer. They were kind and caring. And still managed to get my boys squeaky clean!! On top of all that, I was amazed at what reasonable prices they have. Thank you for a great experience

Super glad I found this place! They have treated my pup so amazingly. They squeezed us in when I showed up on the wrong day, already had a relationship with my adopted dog which made her coming in way less stressful and the vibe is super dope. If I ever had to doggy day care I definitely feel like she would be completely safe and happy. I also LOVE whatever they add after she is bathed, it just makes me wanna take her home and cuddle her all night. Thank you all for being so awesome!

Have only used them for grooming. Clean. Very kind. Have been happy with the grooming they did. Our dog was nervous going the first time but has never had a problem since.

Nice people. They sell mostly quality products. Upgraded the review from four stars to five stars as a recently started promotional incentives for Nutrisource which is the only dog food I've given my dogs in the last 12 years.

So far so good, this was my first time at this groomer, both my dogs did well with the staff, reception was pleasant, friendly and informative, gave me hours of operation and wrote everything down for me. Nail clipping was finished quickly. My dogs were happy and fine after, not like another place I tried that left my dogs scared to return for future nail trimmings. I will go back here to see how future services go.

Catherine has been watching our two cats during our trips for three years. She genuinely cares for the well being of the kitties, making sure they’re safe, healthy, playing, giving affection. She makes it all easy and we can stay in the moment on our trips.

If I could rate 1,000 stars, I would. Catherine watched our kitties for seven years and gave them so much love while we were away. We always knew they were in good hands with her. We looked forward to her daily updates and loved the photos and videos she shared whenever we traveled. As they aged, she handled changing diets and new medications with ease. She is thorough, capable, kind, and deeply attuned to the kitties in her care.

We have had several cat sitters over the years, but Catherine is by far the best! Her professionalism is unsurpassed, starting with the initial interview, in which she gets a full health history of your cat, and even asks what your wishes would be if you don't return from your vacation. Not exactly something we want to think about, but just an indication of how seriously she takes her role as a caregiver in your absence. While we were away, we got daily updates about our cat and many photos and videos. Catherine went above and beyond to keep us informed about anything going on at our place. We feel completely at ease leaving now, knowing that our cat, and our property, is in good hands. Her love of and respect for cats is apparent.

It was my first time leaving my two cats alone overnight so I was very anxious about it. Catherine’s thoroughness and expertise with cats and their unique behaviors/needs was exactly what I was hoping to find in a cat sitter. The daily text updates with lots of photos put me at ease and allowed me to relax as much as possible on my vacation. Knowing my cats were not only getting their basic needs taken care of every visit (food, clean litter box) but also tons of playtime and attention that was tailored to each of their individual preferences was amazing and something you don’t get with every sitter. If I’m ever in need of a sitter again, Catherine will be the first person I reach out to!

If I could, I would give Comforts At Home Cat Sitting a hundred stars. I have known them for several years and felt completely confident in asking them take care of my inside, one-year old cats for two weeks while I was out of town in October 2024. CAHCS are so knowledgeable, professional, caring and conscientious. During our home visit as we discussed what I needed for my cats. While she had the opportunity to meet them, she made suggestions, based on her experience, that never occurred to me before this time. While I was away, she spent quality time with my cats and sent me daily reports on their progress with photos and videos.(Sadly I cannot get any of from the WhatsApp to share here.) Outside of missing them, Comforts At Home Cat Sitting's daily communication and videos helped me during this time of separation. We've had Catherine with Comforts at Home Pet Sitting take care of our 2 cats during numerous trips - short and long - during the past 2 years that we've lived in Vancouver WA. She is incredibly professional - she gathered tons of info before the pet sitting started - vet, emergency contact, medical issues, etc. and she always gives updates each day - both text (with photos) and written (left for us when we get home). Each time we've felt our cats were very well taken care of (and plants too!), and she's gone above and beyond trying to accommodate our more shy cat. There was a time our apartment manager had scheduled work in our place while were away, and Catherine was flexible and understanding with arranging visits at particular times of the day to make sure the cats were contained to one room while they were entering. As well as moving our outdoor furniture and plants when they painted the building. We're moving away from the area soon, and can only hope to find a pet sitter as wonderful as Catherine in our new city.

Catherine from Comforts at home pet sitting is wonderful!!! Our cats absolutely love her and she spent the time to play with them as well as caring for them, feeding and scooping. She also vacuumed their hair, which made it really wonderful when we came home. She kept us updated on all of their activities and sent us pictures and videos. It made us feel no stress while we were away from home! It certainly makes us want to travel more together, so that we can have that time knowing our cats are well cared for.while away! Catherine has been an extraordinary pet sitter, and we are thrilled to have her to care for our two kitties. We were so impressed when we did the initial interview with how incredibly thorough she she was in gathering detailed care information and planning for every contingency. While we were away, the daily photos of our cats playing with her, eating, and accepting her affection were incredibly reassuring. Our shyest cat, who often hid under the bed with previous pet sitters, was playing actively on the first day. Animals have a sense of people who genuinely care for them, and they are as happy with Catherine as we are!

My husband and I have always had only great things to say about Catherine and Comforts At Home Pet Sitting. She is honest, diligent, flexible, caring, and sensitive to both human and animal situations. Earlier this year, I gave birth to our first child. Catherine was kind enough to be "on-call" to care for our cat and dog while we were at the hospital. I really appreciated the exception she made for us, so as to fit us in her schedule whenever our baby arrived. Anytime we travel, we are always reassured by Catherine's daily text and photo updates, as well as the detailed notes she leaves behind at our home. Our dog and cat both love her. If you're looking for an alternative to the impersonal experience of using an app to find a random pet sitter - I can't recommend Leave It To Shoo! highly enough. She's easy to set up with (just 1 short visit to determine pet needs) and very communicative while you're away - provides daily updates and pictures of your pets. (Examples pictured) My pets were loved and taken care of by Shoo while I was away - and that's all than you can ask for!

We have had the best experience possible with Leave it to Shoo for the past 3 years. It is such peace of mind to know that our cat is being so well taken care of while we are away. Shoo has the key to our home on a permanent basis; we trust her implicitly. She always either answers her phone or gets back right away when we need to book her. She never has a problem working us into her schedule. Shoo brings in the mail, makes sure the house is secure, and always leaves a note and extra food and water for our cat on the last day. The litter box and surrounding area are kept immaculate. We can tell that Olaf has had a great time while we are gone because he is not vocal or clinging when we get back! They play together and Shoo gives him lots of love. We have no hesitation recommending Leave it to Shoo for in-home pet care!

Sharon was absolutely wonderful with all our animals (fish, parrot, cats, dog)! She sent us daily pictures and updates on how everybody was doing while my family was absent, and communicated very quickly and competently in handling a prickly situation with our not-too-friendly dog. She reads animal behavior very well, is very responsible and resourceful, and we highly recommend her services.

Shoo's been our go-to cat sitter for several years and has been great! She sends daily updates with pictures and keeps our plants alive as well. She is super reliable and responds very quickly. We'll definitely continue using her services for years to come!

Sharon is amazing! I recently moved to the area and, on a short notice, had to find a pet-sitter for my dog and a cat for a few days. Sharon took such a good care of them! My dog can be a little mischievous, so Sharon even built "a fort", so my dog wouldn't get to the cat's stuff. When I got back, pets looked happy and well taken care of. Sharon kept in touch me regularly, informing on how everything is. She definitely does more than just pet-sitting - she even texted me to make sure I landed ok and am safe on the way home. Thank you, Sharon! We just love you!

Sharon is an excellent pet sitter. Sharon pet sat for a week. She took special care of my kitty (a cancer survivor) who needed daily medication. In addition she took care of 2 other cats, and 2 rabbits. Daily she texted me with an update and made helpful suggestions. When I got home, the kitchen was spotless and the animals well cared for. I would use her again.

Shoo is very professional, gives attention to detail, and is a very caring provider for animals. Along with myself, several family members have also used her services. We have known Shoo even before she went into this business, and we trust her completely with our home and animals.

Sharon is the best pet sitter. My 2 cats love her.She keeps me informed of what's going on. She texts me pictures.She also is nice to bring in my mail or water my flower pots. Those little things mean a lot.
