Pet Sitting in Sisson

Julia and Andrei were wonderful! They were here with our St. Bernard and our cat for two weeks while we were abroad. The communication with them leading up to their stay was very clear and appreciated. They sent daily updates and photos of our pets enjoying their company. We came back to a spotless house and some goodies in the fridge. It was great being able to go on a family trip with peace of mind, knowing our pets and house were being cared for by such reliable sitters. We will definitely call on them next time we go on a trip.

We were lucky enough to have Maryse come back to look after our home and pets for a second time. When she cared for our 2 cats a couple of years ago, we could not believe how we had lucked out and have been begging her to come back ever since! We have kept in touch and to our delight, she finally announced she was coming back to NB! This time around, we added our 1.5 year old pup Enzo to the mix and he took to Maryse instantly. It is evident that Maryse has a lot of experience with dogs. She jogged with him every day and even taught him to run along her bicycle with a leash! She sent hilarious daily updates and pictures, which of course we loved. When we returned the house was spotless (cleaner than when we left!) and the lawn and flowers looked like a professional landscaper had been here. 5 stars is not nearly enough. We left with complete peace of mind knowing our furry babies were in excellent hands; what more could we ask for? Liza was super punctual with her communication and was very flexible when it turned out my dates were wrong and needed to be changed. My dog Bo absolutely adored Liza as she is such a good person and passionate about animals. My place was cleaner when I left it and I even had freshly baked cookies to come home to. Thank you Liza for looking after my Bo.

We absolutely loved having Fiona stay at our house over Christmas to look after our cat, Orbit. She sent us photos regularly and Orbit was so happy to have her here. Really enjoyed meeting Fiona as well and would 100% recommend her!

Helen was a great sitter! She came on short notice and because we got rained out of our camping trip, offered that we could come home early (which we really appreciate!) It was her first time doing subcutaneous injections for our cat Kevin’s insulin, and she was meticulous about making sure she did it right. She called to make sure we got home and offered to come back if we got stuck. Helen was very accommodating, clean and attentive and I would have her again in a second!

An opportunity arose for a once in a lifetime trip, so it was a great relief that Aaron was available to house sit during those two weeks. We have had Aaron sit for us many times now and that fact alone says how much we trust him and how well he has taken care of our house and our pets. Both of the last two sits have had some issues that Aaron has gone out of his way to solve plus I was delayed a day returning to Ottawa and Aaron assured me, from the beginning of my epic trek home, that he would stay that extra day if needed. He has communicated issues extremely well and uses common sense in his initiative to solve any problems. Aaron had both of our cats this time (One travels with my wife when she is working in the U. S.), and it is obvious that they are extremely comfortable around him. I think they get more cuddle time with him than they do with me. Honestly, Aaron has been the perfect sitter for us and I am sure you will say the same if he sits for you.

Carole et Gaétan ont tout deux fait carrière en Santé et au premier abord, vous percevez leur altruisme... leur besoin de répondre à vos besoins et de vous permettre de partir en vacances en toute quiétude. Notre première rencontre s'est faite via Facetime. L'excellente communication et les atomes crochus étant au rendez-vous, nous avons du coup convenu qu'ils seraient les gardiens de notre chat Charlie et de notre maison. À notre demande, Carole et Gaétan sont arrivés en après-midi le jour précédant notre départ pour faciliter la transition pour notre cher Charlie, nous permettre de passer à travers le guide de bienvenue et se connaître autour d'un repas. Leur arrivée a été très chaleureuse et spontanée comme si on se connaissait depuis longtemps. Charlie qui est plutôt timide avec de nouveaux venus s'est tout de suite approché de Carole pour se laisser caresser puis, en relevant la tête, Carole, infirmière retraitée, a alors vu la jeune cicatrice chirurgicale sur le genou de mon conjoint Robert!! Ce fut une rechute instantanée pour elle: Spontanément, elle a donné de précieux conseils médicaux à Robert pour protéger sa cicatrice durant nos vacances à la mer. Quelle générosité et quelle chance pour nous! Pour ce qui est de la soirée, elle fut des plus agréables. Robert et Gaétan étaient tellement centrés sur leur conversation que le poulet est resté un peu trop longtemps sur le BBQ mais ce n'est pas grave car ensuite, durant le repas, nous avons réglé les problèmes du monde entier. Durant notre escapade, Carole a pris soin de communiquer avec nous quotidiennement en nous envoyant des petits mots et photos et elle nous a avisés de l'heure de leur départ qui s'est fait quelques heures avant notre retour tel que nous l'avions convenu. À notre arrivée, nous avons retrouvé notre chat en pleine santé et notre maison immaculée. De plus, les serviettes et draps avaient été lavés et les lits faits. À l"extérieur, les fleurs resplendissaient. Carole et Gaétan, ce fut un immense plaisir de vous rencontrer et nous espérons avoir le bonheur de vous revoir. Charlie, who is rather shy around newcomers immediately approached Carole to let himself be petted and then, when she raised her head, Carole, a retired nurse, saw the young surgical scar on my partner Robert's knee!! It was an instant relapse for her: Spontaneously, she gave valuable medical advice to Robert to protect his scar during our seaside vacation. How generous and how lucky for us! As for the evening, it was most pleasant. Robert and Gaétan were so focused on their conversation that the chicken stayed a little too long on the BBQ but that didn't matter because during the meal, we solved the whole world's problems. During our getaway, Carole took care to communicate with us daily by sending us little notes and photos and she informed us of the time of their departure which was a few hours before our return as we had agreed. . When we arrived, we found our cat in great health and our house immaculate. In addition, the towels and sheets had been washed and the beds made. Outside, the flowers were resplendent. Carole and Gaétan, it was a great pleasure to meet you and we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again. Thank you both very much and good travels and sittings! What a treat to come home from our trip to happy animals and a lovely clean house. Even though girls were pleased to see us they were more than happy to ignore us after 10 minutes which was great to see. Thankyou both Jaclynn and Jerry, it was lovely meeting you both, and thankyou for looking after our animals and house. We loved the photos everyday of our animals an the exciting trips you took them on . I am sure they are all missing you. I recommend you both 100% plus as house sitters.

Fern and Frank were wonderful house and cat sitters for our three week vacation. We can’t say enough good things about them! They both have extensive experience with home ownership, caring for pets and world travel which helped them to settle into our home and to connect with our cats quickly. Frank and Fern them have gentle, calm and easy going personalities that fit perfectly with our needs and our cats' lifestyle. They provided daily updates with fun photos and videos of our cats and home. They were always easy to contact which made us feel at ease. They made is easy to relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing that everything was taken care of at home. When we arrived home, the house was spotless and we were greeted by two very relaxed and happy cats! We were very happy with Frank and Fern and would not hesitate to invite them back for future house/cat sits.

Calie & Bob are lovely kind people, they took great care of my 3 boys and Calie can’t thank you enough for suggestion of puppy pad for our old boy Arthur, the difference has been huge!! The boys were definitely missing you when we came back. Communication was excellent and my home was looked after.
