We don't know where to start with how amazing Philip and Isabella were! They came a day early because something came up and we needed to get away earlier than planned. Even though their flight was delayed (they arrived to our house at 4am!!) they woke up early to do a walk-through of all walking paths for our dog and to learn how to prepare his food and prep the cats food as well. And all on a cup of coffee! They sent photos to let us know our monsters were behaving and they were communicative when things came up that didn't seem "normal" (all was fine, but we appreciated their level of care more than they will know!!!). We will definitely (100%, most certainly) have them sit again should they ever find their way back to Toronto and highly recommend them to anyone who are "crazy pet parents" like we are. <3 On top of all the amazing pet care, they left our house cleaner than they found it and took awesome care of our bikes. We just loved having them stay!

Rikke was amazing! We posted our dates a week in advance and didn’t think we would find anyone, but it coincided with Rikke planning a weekend trip and we’re very grateful that it worked for her. She read the listing description and I right away felt comfortable about the idea of leaving our home and little Tayto with her. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. SHELLEY IS AMAZING!!! Truly- I don't know what I could have possibly done to deserve the care Shelley and her daughter Jen gave to our pets and our home. They faced truly abysmal weather here in New Orleans and could have re-routed their whole trip to find better weather, but they kept their commitment to us. The house was sparkling and neat as a pin when we returned. Our very own network of spies (i.e.- the friends at the dog park where Shelley kept our daily 7:00 AM appointment) said that they were the best sitters we have ever had. Our skiddish Labradoodle and lazy beagle loved them at first sight. If you have a chance to have Shelley house sit for you then count yourself lucky because she is a treasure. Like Mary Poppins for pets. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
