I searched high and low for a place like this for my fur babies. I usually take my dogs everywhere with me , but sadly can’t take them to Hawaii. I didn’t want to leave them just anywhere and wanted my girls to feel comfortable and loved. This place is like a home away from home. They had room to run, multiple walks and loved on. Kortney sent me photos of my girls and knew they were in great hands. I will definitely be taking my girls back knowing they are well taken care of. These are just a handful of pictures that I received during their stay.

Skagit Canine Club was wonderful! The facility and grounds are beautiful! This was our first time kenneling our pup, Cinder, and Kortney and her crew did an excellent job caring for her. The kennel facility is first class! Beautiful sleeping quarters, stalls for daytime play and indoor arena for off leash play plus daily walks on their property. Kortney texted us daily with pictures and updates, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. When we picked up Cinder she was clean, exercised and happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better kennel stay! We’ll be back!

I am an extremely picky parent- I usually take my babies with me everywhere, So when I can’t bring them with, I am extremely decisive about where I bring them. I could not recommend Skagit Canine Club more!! Having a high energy dog, I was thrilled to be able to add on the athlete package and lick mat and stuffed kongs for my baby while I was gone. I received pictures of my baby, roaming the woods on walks and got the cutest report card at the end with all the details of his visits throughout the day. The owner was absolutely amazing and every detail from start to finish is so thought out. They also just installed brand new 20 foot run to give the puppies more space to play and my dog absolutely loved it! DEFINITELY recommend for your fur baby!!

Can’t express enough how big of relief it is to have found Skagit Canine Club. Our dogs use to travel everywhere with us but due to our shepherd, Glacier having had multiple knee surgeries it is just too much for her and her older age anxiety to do so with us and a toddler these days. I assumed they would be taken care of but to see just how happy they were there the whole time was amazing! Not sure they even cared to come home they loved it so much! Thank you Kortney!! 🩵 🐾

My insecure dog felt so comfortable at Skagit Canine Club that she did not scratch up the door or woodwork! I dropped her off at 4:30 pm for a trial night. Kortney immediately greeted us and took Odee for a long walk on the property while I anxiously drove away. Kortney sent photos three times before the 10:00 am pick up the next day. When I returned home, I noticed Kourtney even filled out a "report card" to inform me about the overnight stay. I'm so relieved that Odee got along so well because I've booked two more stays for out of town trips without the dog.

I have had my dog for 3 years and I have never found a boarding spot I felt comfortable leaving my dog. I stumbled upon Skagit Canine Club and became instantly obsessed just from the tour. Now after having Tovee stay for 5 days, I cannot say enough good things. I got updates on her while I was gone, photos, and even the cutest report card of her stay when I picked her up today. Kortney sincerely cares about the doggos and I know for a fact this is the only place I will trust to take my dog. Attached is a photo from one of her walks. 🥰

Our boy Brody (age 9) had his first overnight stay and he seemed to love it! Kortney sent us photos several times during his stay to keep us updated and it really put our minds at ease. The facility is clean and well kept and you can see the care she puts into it. We’ve already put in our reservations for Brody next visit and I know he’ll be so excited as soon as we pull onto the grounds. We appreciate the care and attention he received there!

I own a 9 year old boxer and a 3 year old border collie, and both of them have had very limited experience outside our farm. So I was a bit worried about how they would do for 5 days away from home. Freya is also quite timid and very peculiar when eating. As soon as I saw the place, I knew my dogs would do great. There is a huge arena to run around and play, very clean dog bedrooms, and great outdoors to explore. Kortney is like a dog whisperer, and both my dogs seemed very relaxed as soon as I handed them over to her. She spent time giving them physical and mental stimulation, with hide and seek for treats and walks in the woods. She sent us pictures and video with updates to let us see that the pups were doing great with their new experiences. You can tell right away by how your dogs act when you pick them up, if they had a good or bad experience. My dogs were happy and relaxed! We will bring the dogs again when we leave. I'm so happy I can go on vacation and know they are in great hands!

Skagit Canine Club came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and we are so glad we listened! We've had two fantastic experiences with Kortney. Our pup was a little young but Kortney accommodated him, and both dogs had a blast. It can be a bit nerve-wracking to leave beloved pets with a stranger, but Kortney exceeded our expectations in every way. The online registration is easy, and the check-in process at the kennel is simple yet thorough. The facility is brand-new and beautiful, with many thoughtful touches that convey the care Kortney puts into her business. We love the add-on services like frozen lick mats, treat bowls and senior-dog one-on-one time. Kortney is meticulous in collecting vet records and pet peculiarities/preferences. Her attention to such detail provides reassurance to uneasy pet owners! She communicates often and easily, and we especially appreciated the daily photos, videos and updates. Kortney provides many activities to keep the dogs occupied and happy, and both our pup and our senior dog were engaged. We love seeing how Kortney integrates her children into the dogs' care, and it made us happy to know that our dogs got plenty of love and attention. She easily managed both dogs' medications and even administered eye drops to our wiggly pup. Our senior dog developed a minor hot spot on her last visit, and Kortney handled it swiftly and effectively. I'm confident that she can handle any medical issue or emergency that may arise. We loved getting the report card at the end of our visit, and for both stays, each item we sent was carefully packed up and returned. Kortney is easy to work with and genuinely cares about the pets who stay with her.

Skagit Canine Club is the best. Our Golden Retriever has separation anxiety. We had already scheduled a 4-day trip to Oregon and we talked with SCC beforehand to let them know of our concern. They embraced our Golden as one of their own. Many walks and TLC helped our Golden through this time. They also kept in contact with us to set our minds at ease. Kortney is the best and I would highly recommend Skagit Canine Club for your furry friend!

Elizabeth is awesome! She took great care of my cat, Wicket, while I was visiting family. Wicket gets anxious when I go out of town, but this time he was much more calm (I have cameras inside to check on him and talk to him, and when she wasn't there, Wicket didn't seem anxious). You can tell Elizabeth is an animal person, and Wicket could too, as he was clearly comfortable around, and likes her. I was nervous how Wicket would be, but he did great, because Elizabeth kept all his normal routines going the way he is used to. I received detailed reports after each visit, with pictures, which was very comforting for me. Doing this, she not only took care of Wicket, but me too! Communication was excellent, from the meet & greet though the actual service. Elizabeth is professional, genuinely cares, and listened to all my thoughts and concerns. I can't express my gratitude enough, and will definitely be contacting her again.

Elizabeth is the greatest pet sitter in Skagit Valley. She’s trustworthy, reliable, loves animals, and very good at what she does. Our Shiba loves her! We usually try to have her stay at our house when we’re traveling and she’s great at keeping the house in tip top shape. It’s cleaner when we get home than when we left! I highly recommend her.

Elizabeth is a top tier animal care professional. She takes care of our two puppies weekly like they are her very own! She’s communicative, quick to respond and incredibly competent. I’ve never met someone so compassionate and kind to all animals (and even people)! Book with her without hesitation, you won’t regret it. She’ll even send you updates and pictures of your babies while you’re away!

My two cats and I are very happy with the care Elizabeth provided for her cat check-ins! I felt confident leaving on a long weekend even though one of my cats had to be confined in a small space for mobility issues. Both cats were healthy and happy on our return. Regular texts, photos and videos reassured us that our cats were happy and happy hat Pearl was improving. Elizabeth did a great job keeping the special area for Pearl clean and tidy. We will most certainly let call on her again.

Liz is the best pet sitter we have ever used. She communicates everything that's happening with our cats so we can feel confident they are getting the best care possible when we are away from home. We have a diabetic cat and she handles his extra care with ease. Our cats are lucky we found her.

Elizabeth is an incredible petsitter and I’d highly recommend her to anyone!! She has taken care of my dog for several periods of over a week and she is always so patient, send a lot of updates, and probably takes better care of our house than I do! He’s a senior dog with health issues and I never worry leaving him with Elizabeth that he’ll get his medicine and be able to go outside when he needs to. More recently, I adopted a second dog and Elizabeth was brilliant handling both of them despite their different energy levels and needs. Thanks for always being there for my two pups, Elizabeth!

Take a dog who already had separation anxiety PRIOR to the pandemic, spend 16 months with him every day and then finally leaving him at home- we were two very nervous pet parents! We moved to Whidbey last summer and sought out pet care a few months ago anticipating the return back to society. We finally took our trip and left our corgi in care of Tricia's Pet Care and we are SO happy we did. We had two meetings prior to the overnight- one with Tricia and Shelley, our watcher, and then one more a few days before the care. Shelley was absolutely fantastic with Barkley. Having to had flown home to take care of an anxious dog before, she was receptive to our worries and paid extra care and attention to our boy. We got pictures multiple times a day of our happy boy. Even with the 4th of July fireworks, we were able to complete our entire trip stress free knowing Barkley was happy. This to us is priceless! We're so confident in her care that when we were offered a chance at a new puppy, having reliable pet care sealed the deal and we're thrilled to have Shelley, Tricia and team meet our new addition in the fall. They are the perfect mix of compassionate and professional and I am so lucky we found them! Thank you!!

Wow! My first meeting with Tricia and Team. I’m so relieved that I now have a powerful team of dog lovers to care for my two Cream retrievers. Maui is 12 and Kona is 7 months. This team came prepared to ask questions as they each built a profile for each of my dogs. Talk about thorough, these guys were very very impressive. They reviewed all the key points of interest, and left with all of my immediate dates short term and further out. Since we moved to Whidbey Island in 2012, Tricia and her team have been taking care of our pets whenever we go away. It's very easy to see that our pets are well-cared for during our absence. Upon our return home, they are always waiting to greet us, as though we'd only be gone a few hours. Tricia's has taken care of other issues that might impact our pets, such as a smoke detector located very high off the ground, that was chirping incessantly because its batteries were failing. She's also been known to walk quite a ways thru snow when it was too risky to drive down our street, and also has climbed over a large tree that was blocking our street. She (and her team) are the absolute BEST!!!

Erik has taken excellent care of our large greyhound since we adopted our pup in March. Greyhounds can be shy and aloof to strangers, but Erik seems to have a natural intuition in engaging with my dog; this is evident during our first meeting, and our boy has maintained a bond with Erik ever since. My significant other and I both have highly demanding jobs, and Erik has been blessing to us especially in caring for our energetic boy both during the day and sometimes overnight home stays. He pays great attention to details, has been flexible with scheduling, and always provide timely updates to let us know how our dog is doing. I knew our pup was in great hands when we arranged a week-long overnight stay with Erik. We have been incredibly pleased with how professional, communicative, and passionate Erik is about taking care of our pup.

I love Erik and have been using him for years. We had a new rescue this year and even on the first visit he quickly acclimatised even though he was nervous with men specifically. I never have any doubts leaving my dogs with Erik.

Erik has helped me take care of my pet Blue and Gold Macaw and our family cat off and on for the past three years. He has been very reliable and trustworthy! Erik has watched our two cats twice now. Both times for four days. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler. Erik has been able to give her this medication with ease and we are so grateful! We have been so impressed with this service. He is prompt and kind. Very communicative. The price is extremely reasonable. This most recent trip, we accidentally got the days wrong and he was able to accommodate! The cats really like him. Professionalism is at a 10! We will definitely hire him whenever we’re out of town and we recommend him to anyone!

My dogs love Erik! The are full of excitement when they see him arrive. He is very dependable and professional! I have two high energy dogs that Erik handles with ease. I highly recommend him!

We highly recommend Erik (Crazy Dog Man) for pet sitting. We have a large black lab/pit bull/Great Dane mix (Harley) that is a rescue, abused as a pup many years ago. He is therefore apprehensive around new people and takes awhile to gain trust. When Harley met Erik earlier this year, he took to him right away. Erik respects and understands Harley and his needs, especially now that he is a senior dog and has health issues. Erik stays at our house when we are on vacation and the occasional weekend, and provides Harley with exceptional care, including all his medications. Erik is definitely in tune with dogs, no matter their size.

Erik is very capable, conscientious and caring. My three horses and one donkey can be a handful but Erik handled them beautifully. He also did a great job of keeping their stalls, paddock and arena clean. I have recommended him to my friends, because they know I’m very particular about the quality of my pet family’s care. Erik provides that level of care!
