We were lucky to have Sean take care of our dog, Manfred, a French bulldog who loves to rest and soak up the little sun on these winter days. From the first moment, Sean gave us a lot of confidence, showing a genuine love for animals. Although our dog is quite calm and does not need much activity, Sean was excellent company for him. Sean made sure that Manfred was comfortable and happy, respecting his relaxed pace and enjoying the moments of sunshine together. In addition, he kept us informed with photos and daily updates, which was a great relief while we were away. Additionally, Sean was kind to the dogs in the neighborhood. He even became fond of a little dog in the neighborhood, with whom he went for a run in the park and helped her find a new home, since the owner could not keep her in the best conditions. When we returned home, we found our dog happy, well cared for and in perfect spirits. Sean really understood our dog's needs and treated him with great affection. The house was clean and tidy and we felt his kindness when we returned from our trip. In the short time we spent with him, we had the chance to get to know an intelligent and great conversationalist man whose travel experiences are enriching and it is enjoyable to spend time with him. We recommend Sean without hesitation. He is responsible, affectionate and cares about the well-being of animals, even the quietest ones.

Michelle’s focus was our little cat. She is so organised and excellent at identifying the needs of the cat. The cat was so well cared for and Michelle was a great companion to her. She was respectful of our home, instructions and our pet. We got daily updates and everything Michelle does is about care. To top it off we returned to an immaculate home and a delicious homemade feta and spinach pie! All round a five star.

Jeff & Sylvie: a mature, caring & thoughtful couple for your pets, home & garden
Jeff and Sylvie were excellent sitters for both Lola our dog and the house. They communicated in advance really well and came around to run through the sit and aspects of the house. They kept us informed during the sit and clearly Lola was enjoying their company and normal life at home (rather than having to be elsewhere). Jeff & Sylvie did an outstanding job of leaving our house super tidy and wonderfully clean. They very kindly even left us a meal in the fridge knowing we were getting back late with the kids. Would really recommend them to anyone and also welcome them back to our house. We wish them safe travels and hopefully see them again soon!

We met with Gill and Clive prior to our trip and were very happy. They were very friendly and engaging and our dogs instantly bonded and played. Gill and Clive arrived on the day of our trip as planned and provided updates every couple of days during our trip, putting our minds at rest. Upon our return, our house was very clean and tidy and Gill had very kindly provided us with some basic essentials (bread, milk & eggs). Our dogs were happy and it was clear they had been very well cared for. We could not recommend Gill and Clive any higher to other zeewoi members.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Anyone looking for a “perfect” sitter would be lucky to have Andrea as a trustworthy, considerate and kind person to care for their pets and home.

5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Great company and highly recommend. Our dog Rodney has the best holiday, it was the first time we’d left him overnight since getting him as a puppy but the text updates and photos put our mind at ease, Rodney had a fab time and came home very relaxed. The owners and hosts clearly really care for animals and look after them as if they were their own! Rodney is already looking forward to his next holiday with Barking Mad and his postcard is now taking pride of place on our fridge :)
We are really happy with the service from Pauline and her team at Barking Mad. She’s taken great care and attention in getting to know our two golden retrievers, noting every detail about their routine and their different characters. She chose excellent holiday hosts for them while we’ve been away; they’ve kept us constantly posted with photos and feedback. It’s so helpful that Pauline comes to pick the dogs up and drops them back home after their holiday, and she is always very timely and communicative. We feel our dogs are in safe hands with Pauline and her team, and it’s lovely to know they are in someone’s home being loved and looked after. We would highly recommend Barking Mad.

We have an old dog with various age-related health issues and we have total confidence that he will be looked after and cared for just as we do ourselves. Charli was amazing when she looked after Freddie, our 16 month old Fox Red Lab. It was the first sleepover he had had! He was so happy and Charli was extremely knowledgeable about his breed. Charli recently looked after our young mini schnauzer Otto for a fortnight. It was clear from all the photos and videos Charli sent us that Otto was having a whale of a time, playing and snuggling up to her other canine house guests. In fact he's never looked as happy as in the first photo she sent us with the first three of his new mates! Dogs clearly love Charli and she obviously loves them, a real softie yet able to ensure they're all kept safe. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Otto with Charli again nor our new puppy, in fact we've already booked a day slot for both of them with her and will soon be booking a longer stay for our holiday next year.
Charli has looked after our chihuahua several times, and he’s always felt at home and very happy. We totally trust her to take the best care of him and highly recommend her services. When we’re away, we get frequent updates, photos and videos. She’s lovely to deal with, and we’ll happily leave our dog with her again next time when we need a dogsitter.
Fantastic home from home for our pup. Charli is very professional, caring and fun and really looks after her charges. Our dog can’t wait to get to her house when we tell her she’s going to stay. That says everything.
We've trusted Charli with our pets for years. She's done house visits to check on our cats, and more recently doggy day care for our puppy while I'm at work. Our Cockapoo Archie has just had a weeks stay with Charli. He was really well looked after and had a great week. Charli took care to cater for Archie’s needs but also gave him the freedom to play off lead. He loved the attention from Charli’s family and the company of other dogs. We had updates from Charli 2-3 times per day with videos and photos of Archie’s day. Would thoroughly recommend and look to book again in the future.

We have been going to Charli and her lovely family since our dog Riley was a new puppy, we absolutely adore her. But I think the best part is how excited Riley is every time we drop her off, she loves socialising with the other dogs, it’s perfect for her to be around kids and she’s always knackered at the end of the day. Charli was so thoughtful. Rescued us for our anniversary weekend. We didn’t know that our beloved dog didn’t like hanging out in an unfamiliar holiday home. David is a brilliant pet sitter. We used him when we had a week away and we rebooked him the same day we got home for our next trip. He really cares about animals and my two cats warmed up to him really quickly. We received daily photos of our cats which was a nice treat and made us feel reassured they were doing well.
