This was our very first time using the service and we were absolutely blown away by Dian's approach from start to finish. Being a highly-rated and experienced cat-sitter, Dian reached out to us in less than a day and make the process much easier for us. Recognizing that we were new to the world of cat-sitting, she guided us through everything and even arrived early to help us out. We returned to find two happy cats, a spotlessly clean apartment stocked with fresh groceries and meals ahead of our arrival. Dian even put her own plans on standby to stay longer just in case we got delayed in returning home. She went above and beyond our expectations and we were absolutely delighted to hear that she enjoyed her time cat-sitting for us. Dian is a genuine cat lover. The feeling is mutual -the cats loved her instantly and she dedicated her time to lavishing attention on them. She found inventive ways to get both cats to participate in play even though one of the cats overshadowed his shy brother and wanted all of the attention. It was very reassuring to know the cats were in such good hands and she did everything possible to make them feel relaxed. Dian is very thoughtful and proactive always anticipating future needs. She selflessly shares her experience and expertise when it comes to cats, she observes each cat and knows how to keep them stimulated. Personally we learned so much from her about the best types of toys and games to use to keep each cat entertained and she sent us photos and videos regularly so we could see what our cats were doing in our absence. Clearly we missed the cats more than they missed us and that in itself is a testament to Dian's great way with cats. She prioritized the happiness and well-being of the cats even above her own plans and chose to maximize her time with them. Dian gave us a great recommendation for a lovely hiking route in our area, left us some thoughtful notes about other things the cats would enjoy and even left us a little gift to thank us for trusting her to look after our cats and our home. It goes without saying that Dian is 100% welcome to come back to us and we would wholeheartedly recommend her as the cat-sitter of choice.

We cannot recommend Arco and Marianne highly enough! From the moment we connected with them, we felt completely at ease leaving our pets and home in their care. They looked after our two cats and our Great Dane expertly and with genuine care.They are also an interesting and inspiring couple and we were fortunate to be able to spend a little bit of time with them before we left. They have many interesting stories to tell if lives well lived so far! Arco and Marianne kept in constant communication throughout their stay, sending us regular updates via WhatsApp. We loved receiving their photos of our pets enjoying their time together. It's clear they have a genuine affection for animals, and our cats and Great Dane didn't miss us at all. When we returned home, our house was in immaculate condition. They took exceptional and even left everything tidier than when we left! It was such a pleasant surprise to come back to a spotless home, and it showed how considerate and respectful they are. Arco and Marianne are reliable, responsible, and incredibly caring sitters. We feel so fortunate to have found such a great couple to look after our pets. Maartje was fabulous! They took excellent care of Naboo who loved spending time with them. Always looking for a great place to housesit & work
We were very lucky to have found Henkjan. Our property is quite large and rural and there are two cats and two dogs to care for, as well as fish, a pond and lots of outside terraces. However, Henkjan was not at all fazed by any of it, calmly and professionally dealing with house and pets alike. He has considerable experience of looking after country properties and that was evident on my return. He even kept our large pool clean and tidy ( not a part of the ‘job’!’). All the animals were extremely happy, not least because Henkjan was able to spend the vast majority of every day in their company. We were away in a remote area of southern Senegal so his reliability and ability to deal with minor day-to-day issues was much appreciated. He kept us informed of what was going on without worrying us about trivia. My wife and I would recommend him unreservedly, especially if you have a rural property which needs looking after, and we would have no hesitation in using him again.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.

Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.

Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!
