I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! This place is a fantastic spot for your pup to stay while you vacation/travel. Crixus (dog) has stayed here numerous times and is always a happy boy. They genuinely care about the animals, giving them plenty of love, attention and outdoor time. They even have a pony! Super friendly and chatty and a great price!

I have to travel a lot for work and have a high anxiety senior dog. My dog has come back from every other kennel we've been to like she's coming back from war, but whenever I pick her up from Paws-a-While, she's wagging her tale and acting like her normal self. Affordable pricing, excellent communication, and above all else, is run by a person who understands it takes all types of dogs to make a world and works with them on their level. She even got my dog to make friends! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great with small dogs! We’ve been bringing our dog Forest (7.5 lbs) here for the last two ski seasons. Forest is always excited when he gets there and happy when we pick him up. The staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about his well being.
When we pull up to Barker Brook, our sweet Maple can sense it. She explodes out of the car with excitement and is desperate to get in and play with all her daycare friends! We're always greeted and helped by the most wonderful, caring staff, and there's nothing better than picking up a pup who's tired out and happy from a day of social enrichment :)
We were visiting Bethel with our dog and wanted a day to do some non-puppy friendly activities. Barker Brook's daycare took great care of our dog, she had a blast! They even provided a cute report card at pickup! I was also impressed with how good their communication was to set up an out of town dog.
This is the only doggy daycare that my husband and I feel comfortable with using for our older corgi. She gets separation anxiety yet whenever we come to get her, she's always happy and bouncing. They are conveniently located to Sunday River so we drop her off on the way to the mountain. Since our pup loves them, we love them and would recommend them!
My dog loves barker brook. The staff is friendly and attentive so i know my baby is in good hands. I also love that they are accomidating when i email them about last minute overnight boarding. My dog comes home tired from endless playing so i know he has had tons of fun. Highly recommend.

Our dog is to the say least anxious. We had left her for 4 days and expected her to be a mess when we got there to pick her up. She was in pretty good shape and had actually eaten while we were gone which was a first. The staff was friendly and new their business, drop off and pick up were a breeze. If you've never been and don't read through the website, drop offs and pickups only occur between 8am and 10am or 4pm and 6pm. Was easy enough to work that into our plans, but if you dont pickup before the PM slot you pay the daycare rate on top of whatever boarding there was up until that morning. All in all was better than we could have hoped for and we would absolutely use Barker Brook again.
Storme is well taken of at Barker Brook Kennels. She always comes back tired and happy! We highly recommend doggy day care here.

Our family has used Clover Acres Kennel for many, many years. My parents brought our Samoyed there for boarding when I was a child. It was the ONLY place around that my Dad trusted with his beloved companion. Now, I am grown with my own family and Clover Acres is only place we choose to board our Cockapoo. So that's two generations of very happy customers! Prices are outstanding and the staff there are so friendly and helpful. We recommend them highly!

They made room for my pooch, gave me a hug, and got me on my way with peace of mind about my dog, so I could quickly get to my family. What a classy, kind, generous, community-minded group of folks. I can't thank you all enough. This is what running a good business and being good people is all about. Oh, it goes without saying that my dog loves Clover Acres too- she never wants to leave without getting a goodbye pet from all the staff, and is always happy to go back.
We brought out two cats to Clover Acers for a week's stay and we were very happy. They reported that each of the cats was happy and adjusted to the environment well. Our cats have RX food and one needs a pill daily. This was not a problem for them. They also shifted our two to the largest of the condos when it became available… just to give them a bit more room. I am very happy with this kennel and will be using them again. The accommodations are clean and air-conditioned when needed. Another plus is the cats are kept far away from the dogs. One of our cats would go bonkers if they were near.
Hands down the best kennel in southern Maine. We don't worry when we drop our three babies off because they're in such good hands.
