Pet Sitting in Spencer

We don't even know where to begin to share the joy, freedom and peace Scott and I felt knowing that Riley and our home were in the care of John and Robin. Seriously, we have had great sitters on zeewoi and John and Robin were outstanding!! We had a wonderful running journal of photos and news of their activities with Riley. She looked so happy in the pictures and she was taken on a variety of walks, hikes, Boulder tours and lakes while we were gone. Riley was clearly loved and given lots of attention. John and Robin are wonderful communicators, are extremely well-organized, are completely self-sufficient, are exceptionally helpful and so willing to do whatever (beyond what we asked). We returned to immaculate vehicles and an immaculate house. All were cleaned as if professionally and we were treated to a delicious lunch when we got home. Scott and I so enjoyed John and Robin is every way. We shared stories over two meals and we hope they will come back to take care of Riley in the coming year (when we are lucky enough to have our calendars match).

I’m very grateful to Deb Combs and her friend Craig for housesitting for me and looking after my two dogs for 3.5 weeks in September. They were excellent house-sitters and took the dog care very seriously. One of my dogs recently had an operation on her knee and Deb was in regular contact about her convalescence and took her to the vet when there was a problem. She walked the dogs twice a day and sent me regular photos of them- looking happy! She bought and cooked up some extra food for them and wouldn’t let me refund her. Sorry you had to do that Deb! The house was super clean and tidy when I returned and even the laundry was done. Deb broke one of my glasses and replaced it with a whole new set of very classy wine glasses. Thank you! She returned my car to me cleaned and with a full petrol tank. What a treat. She also took me to the airport and fetched me when I returned, which was very helpful. My garden was alive and blossoming. Deb kept it watered while I was away and it was a joy to return to it. So thanks to Deb and Craig- I hope you enjoyed your time in Cape Town and Id love to welcome you back in the future!

Sharon is a superb sitter who truly cares about your home and pets. She loves our dogs and even our scared little rescue came in on the bed with her. She is a dog whisperer ! Very organized, available by text and fixed the problem when my water leak app said I had a leak at 3 gallons per hour! She’s my go-to sitter when she is available! Highly recommend this sitter! You won’t be disappointed.

Heidi was absolutely amazing! She’s a great communicator, kind, and loved on my sweet girl Stella as if she was her own. I could tell in the pictures that she was so happy and enjoying her time. Heidi is professional, sweet, clean and left my as just as tidy as she found it. I would absolutely love to have Heidi back to housesit anytime!!

Ying was wonderful again! This was our second sit and we would not hesitate to have her back again. She sent us pictures that showed us how much fun Speckles was having and how comfortable he is when she and Jax are there. We can tell he misses them! Our home was neat and clean when we returned and communication was great throughout the week. We hope Ying and Jax will come again sometime!

Jess and Zena did a great job watching our kitties! We have 7 inside cats and one feral cat outside who needed feeding so it is a big job to pet sit for us but they did great. We would definitely be happy to have them housesit again for us in the future with no hesitation. Highly recommend! Our kitties are used to us being home most of the time since we work at home, and it was nice they had that companionship (and oversight lol) with Jess here too. Jess was very communicative and kept us in the loop on how everything was going and was also able to handle everything on her own which gave us peace of mind. Communication beforehand and during her sit was easy. She thoughtfully replaced a couple of food staples they used while here, which she didn’t need to do. The house looked great when we came home, everything tidy and clean.

Jessica and Jeremy stayed at our house for 3 months while we were abroad. They treated their stay with true professionalism, asking great questions upfront, communicating clearly throughout the stay, and caring greatly for our pets and home. We felt totally at ease our whole trip. As it happens, both our house and our pets had a few issues— our clothes dryer bit the dust, and one of our cats started having regular hairballs— and Jessica and Jeremy were quick to communicate and work as a team with us to find solutions. When we returned home, everything was spotless and we were welcomed by freshly baked cookies and a lovely card. We could not have chosen better sitters, and they’ll be the first people we contact next time we travel!

Susan was the most amazing house and pet sitter for our beloved poochie Benji. My fiancé and I were a little nervous as we had not used Zeewoi before our recent trip. Susan set our mind a ease with contact while we were away and sending updates with videos of Benji. She took on the instructions with his routine and executed to a tee. On our arrival home the apartment was as we left it, like no-one had been staying in the apartment at all. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitter look no further than Susan. We would have have her back here in a heart beat.

Mother and daughter took care of the hummers and the house. They were so sweet and left me a finger puppet of a hummingbird. So thoughtful and kept in touch. I was never worried about my place or the birds. I’m very grateful they came and stayed at my home. Thank you

Pepper is what we were hoping zeewoi would be all about! From the moment she walked in the door our menagerie accepted and all but welcomed her; she has that kind of energy. She asked all the right questions and listened closely, quickly grasping all our critters' little quirks. Communication before and during the sit was excellent. She left the house immaculate and the garden nicely watered, even stripping her bed and laundering the sheets. Our pets seemed happy and healthy on our return. Great job, Pepper! We hope you will come back!
